Would give zero stars if I could. Went to urgent care, told to go this ER. Speechless. Left after 4 hours without seeing a doctor because we didn’t want to sit in the very tiny waiting room when they wheeled in a very sick covid patient. They were so slow an elderly man in a wheelchair ripped his mask off swearing and “walked” out. They brought another unresponsive woman woman *through* the ER, still on the gurney and tried to get her up to sit on a chair. It was so nutters it was almost comical. Go to this place at your own peril!

The nurses and doctor do not care about their patients at all. The nurse that got me into the room was rude she was ripping off my splint and didn’t seem to care at all that I was in pain. Waited forever to see the doc and get x rays done. The x ray tech was very nice and efficient. The same nurse came in and just asked me patient questions in a rude tone. I did NOT feel welcomed at all and felt like a burden to the nurse and staff. The person that came in to give me a boot was very nice and he explained the process very well and did a great job. He made me feel like I was an actual patient and not a burden. After I had gotten my boot the nurse came back and said her shift is done and that she is going home. So than a new nurse stepped in and was very nice. But waited 3 more hours to wait to see the doc. 3 hours later and the doc still had not been in to see me. So I left without the doctor even doing his job. This was my first experience at the ER and I will never go here again. Don’t go here for broken bones go to a today clinic if they are open it is not worth your time and you do not get treated with respect.

I had to go in because I had a 104 fever. I was expecting to go in, get my temperature confirmed, get medicine, and go home. But no. Little did I know this would be the worst experience of my life. Lets just say they gave the wrong thermometer.

Was taken to the ER after a horse accident. Staff was quick to diagnose me and explain what was happening in terms i could understand. had a nurse that stayed by my side the whole time and explained what was going to happen next. i have never had a bad experience and they will continue to be the only ER i will go to when needed.

Had a emergency when to the Er asked how long the wait would be or if they had any beds available and was told we can’t give you that information which in an emergency is absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself the trouble and just drive down the street to Sanford.

Waited over an hour and a half with my girlfriend in the Emergency room and the time before than over an hour and a half for me in the Emergency room.I ended up waiting for an hour just for discharge papers and the doctor didn’t explain a single thing.(With my girlfriend) We ended up leaving and going to Sanford and were seen in less than 10 minutes.Sanford on the other hand has very pleasant doctors and nurses and they are thorough and genuinely care for you throughout everything.

For 29 years my family has been going to St Alexis, but after the last few expiriences we will not return. Most the staff was not at all friendly and seemed like they really didnt care, just left us in the room for over an hour waiting on our discharge papers, then when we finally asked, we were pretty much yelled at by the Dr because he had more important things to do and didnt have time to discharge us and we were told to just go back in the room and wait. Come to find out the pharmacy wouldnt even fill a script written by our ER Dr, we had to then wait to get a new prescription written by a different ER Dr. Because the first Dr wasnt local. He was very rude and made us feel like a burden for coming there. My advice to this ER is hire some more people so your properly staffed and maybe make sure they actually have some people skills before you send them on into your patients. We pay good money for health care and I want good care and shouldnt have to wait all day to get it. I would just like to add I do love my family Dr, and this review is only based off of the St Alexis ER service.

My family brought me here when I was having the worst panic attack of my life. I had 5 drinks at my bachelorette party, and an ex-friend of mine caused it by saying mean things about me. I couldnt breathe, talk, or walk, and I had to be carried in. However, the nurse who took care of me, Meredith Booth, acted like I was just a drug seeking alcoholic. Even my mom agreed that she had a snobby attitude towards me. My other friend came with me to the ER, and she had 5 drinks as well and she is the same weight as me, and she was fine. Dr. Doll, the doctor who saw me, seemed really nice, but unfortunately the nurse Meredith turned it into a bad experience. I understand that there are druggies and alcoholics that come to the ER and dont need to be there, but if someone is having a panic attack, it is a truly scary experience and a little more emotional support from the nurses would have been nice.

Brother was admitted for neck injury and the staff installed his brace upside down for the entire weekend. Left with pressure wounds due to the hospital not rotating him nor had low pressure beds. My mother was admitted for dizziness and was discharged 5 days later without being treated for her symptoms. Primitive equipment, poorly trained staff, and archaic medical records systems. Id rather bleed out than be admitted to this hospital, luckily their more competitive competition is less than 2 blocks away.

Was having a kidney stone attack right in the waiting room and still took over an hour to be seen. There was a kid who came in after us with a possible concussion and a lady who was there before us with a cold, both got called in before me, even if I was before them. They obviously dont care about how much pain youre in, as I was writing in pain and moaning in the waiting room and puking in the bathroom and I still didnt get priority. Ended up leaving after an hour and went to Sanford. They administered me immediately, gave me pain meds, then gave me scans to see how big they were. Extremely disappointed and will not return. Would love to support the place where I was born, but cant if this is the way I get treated
