I went to Dr. Favor to get an IUD, I had to wait for two hours past my appointment time. When Dr. Favor came in she did not apologize and also she barely even looked at me or spoke to me. I LOOOOOVE Dr. Favor’s nurse Melissa, she is an absolute dream and completely made me feel so much better about this visit. However, due to Dr. Favor’s bedside manner I will not be returning. This is really sad to me because I thought I had found my forever OB/GYN spot when I spoke to Melissa on the phone. Please give patients the time of day and allow us an actual second to ask a question! My anxiety went from 0 to 100 as soon as Dr. Favor entered the room and I pretty much felt as if I was a burden.

Everyone here treats patients the way they would want to be treated! My doctor, the nurses, and office staff. They also respect your appointment time. And they are just nice! Best place to get a mammogram. Their machine makes it more comfortable.I have been a patient for 30 years. Dr. Favor is so thorough in evaluating a problem I might mention. As I am getting older, she has at least twice found a problem that could easily have been overlooked. Both of these times, she followed up until she was sure everything was ok. I believe I have good health today, thanks to her good care.

I did not have the best labor/birthing experience. Nothing went the way I had hoped. The hospital itself is amazing. I loved my postpartum experience.Dr. Favor was my OB. Really had faith in her. I explained I didn’t want to do PITOCIN. And I did NOT want a cesarean. I got both 🥴. A part of me feels like it ended up that way so that she could get more money out of me.Always remember that if you DO NOT want to do it, you can ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS say no. You have that option. That’s one thing I didn’t know.

If you want a doctor who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and overall one of the best (or best) at the OBGYN profession, then Dr. Favor is your doctor. Dr. Favor will work with you, listen, and genuinely care about your well-being. There is no question she wont answer (Trust me, I asked them all.) and no concern she wont take seriously.I am forever grateful for her care and professionalism during my pregnancy and delivery. Even though my body gave some issues, Dr. Favor knew exactly what to do and I trusted her completely. Because of that trust in her wisdom, my son was born at 36 weeks and 4 days without complication. I am doing well, too. Even after L&D, she and her OB nurse, Melissa, have contacted me on several occasions to check in.Speaking of Melissa, she matches Dr. Favors compassion and care for patients step for step. Ive never had a nurse so willing to listen and answer so many questions as if she had all the time in the world to do so. (I know differently. Melissa is very busy tending to all of Dr. Favors patients in the same regard.) When I didnt call for my weekly question and answer session, Melissa was concerned. I never felt like a burden and I attribute much of my pregnancys success to her.I cannot write enough about the quality of care I received at Sparks and Favor. I highly recommend Dr. Favor and her staff for all of your OBGYN needs. If you want personable and educated care, then this is the doctors office for you.

I have always been pleased with Dr. Favor, who is kind, professional and knowledgable. Recently, I had an experience where the lab team went well above and beyond to provide care in a scary situation. Im so grateful to Sparks & Favor and their staff!

While in labor Dr. Favor (who was not my OB) advised that I should go ahead and break my water and be given medication to assist with speeding up the L&D process. I stated NO that was something that I did not want to do at that time. Dr. Favor then proceeded to ask if she could check my cervix to see how many cm dilated I was, which I agreed to. Dr. Favor broke my water anyway without my consent. I reiterated to her that I said NO. She replied that she informed me she was going to do it. After she broke my water I went from 5cm to 3cm to 1cm and I had to have a c-section. At the time I was 30yrs old, 1st pregnancy, no prior issues, if I could give 0 stars I would.

I would highly recommend this group of doctors to anyone. Every doctor is kind and very detail oriented. I have used this practice for over 10 years... two high risk pregnancies and deliveries. The office staff is pleasant and very helpful. The practice has their own ultrasound and mammogram office as well. Such a plus for thorough womens care.

I would highly recommend Dr. Brown to anyone looking to change. One thing that I appreciate about Dr. Brown is that she is direct and caring. From the very beginning of my pregnancy with twins, I felt as though I was in good hands. She kept me well informed about what to expect and what issues might arise being pregnant with twins. Towards the end of my pregnancy when I started to have blood pressure issues and had weekly (sometimes biweekly) appointments, she was always reassuring me that everything is going to be fine. I couldnt have done it without her.

My appointment with Dr. Stradtman was fine. I had to get an ultrasound and the technician noticed that I have an ovarian cyst. She said she would notify the the doctor. I personally have sent a couple messages and have called to see what I could do about this because I do have a lot of discomfort from it. No response from the administration, nurse or doctor. I know it is nothing major, but I should at least get some response back. First time going and it will be my last because thats not how you treat a patient.

WOW! Dr. Whitehead exceeded my expectations! Everyone prays for a great doctor and I’ve been researching a lot and went with her. I was originally referred to another dr at the office but she had a sooner appointment so i chose her and she was so nice and sweet and informative. They have a hard job dealings with peoples health and i know it’s hard to keep a smile but she did. Dr. Whitehead you were amazing! THANK YOU!

I had my first visit yesterday with Dr. Sarah Whitehead and I am very pleased!!! I had a hard time finding an obgyn who I was comfortable with, Dr. Whitehead took her time. the ladies in the front desk were very friendly and the nurse who weighted me and the one who took blood were awesome. Dr. Whitehead made sure to cover everything and to answer all my questions in a way that I could understand. I would recommend her to everyone. thank you Dr.Whitehead for your help!

Sep 03, 2019 my wife went in for her annual exam with Dr Cynthia Brown whom She has been using for many years. We were informed that Dr Brown had left the practice in July of 2019. When I complained about not being notified the response was we are notifying as we have time. I told them I had wasted a 100 mile drive and a $4 parking ticket because of their failure to notify and suggested they should have generated a letter to all of her patients. The response was they have been talking about sending letters.

Dr. Brown has delivered seven of my children and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an OB/GYN. She is professional, caring and interested in the needs of her patients. I have met all of her partners and would feel comfortable under the care of any of them.

If you get lab work done here expect to be treated like a piece of trash. My doctor told me to verify something with the lab before I left, I didn’t need anything done, so I went to the window, not sure what to do, the woman ignored me, then she just stared at me, without her saying anything I told her what I needed, and she yelled, “uh you still have to sign in!” and aggressively shows me the sign in sheet... I being pregnant was almost in tears as the one other woman in the area was looking at me in shock. She tells me to sit down and wait, she grabs my paper and starts indirectly asking questions, I wasn’t in her view so I wasn’t even sure if she was talking to me or the other woman. Within 2 mins gives me paper back and tells me to take it up front. I’ve never had a good experience with them, but today did me in. I feel like a nuisance every time I have a visit here.

So my wife has been going here for a while and really liked her gyno Dr. Brown. They usually do a great job. However, my wife got pregnant recently and we wanted to get her in for an appointment ASAP because we thought she could be 8-10 weeks along. We played phone tag with the billing dept. and nurses for two weeks just to talk to the right person to make the appointment, with them KNOWING she was pregnant for the first time and really wanted to see a doctor to know what was going on. Then today when we finally got her insurance info squared away and were ready to make an appointment, they told us that we have to pay for the entire delivery in advance (before we even had our FIRST appointment) or we could break it into three payments of about $400. They didnt mention anything about a pre-payment during the two weeks when we were trying to make an appointment. I really feel like the nurses and billing staff didnt care about my wife or our pregnancy and well be going elsewhere. Dr. Brown is great but the other staff really dropped the ball with us.

Screw this place. EVERYONE was unfriendly to me both times I went. Be prepared to pay a steep price for parking, and if you loose your ticket, be prepared to pay for a WHOLE DAY of parking because they cant know how long you were truly there. Even if you were there for less than 30 minutes for a follow up visit, you have to pay a hefty amount if you dont have your ticket. The ticket lady was rude and threated to call the cops if I didnt pay the $10 for parking. Of course she didnt call! And the old lady who was supposed to be the greeter was SO FREAKING RUDE when I asked her where S&F was because the place was a maze and I got lost.So yeah, I was there for all of 5 minutes for a follow-up check up. My doctor literally asked me if I liked the bc he put me on. I said yes, and I was out. I get a bill for FORTY FIVE DOLLARS. 45!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND I ALREADY PAID A 30 DOLLAR CO-PAY. So youre telling me, Sparks and Favor, that meeting with my doctor for 5 minutes for him to freaking ask me if I liked the bc costed me a total of 75 dollars then plus the 10 I almost had to pay for losing my parking ticket??????If youre going to charge such high prices, how about BE NICE TO YOUR PATIENTS. I cannot get over how rude everyone was and how the doctors do not care.If you are a new patient, PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! DONT LET THEM WALK ALL OVER YOU.rude mfs

Ive never written a review, but I feel like I have to, the way I was treated here...This is my first visit here. The moment I walked in the door to the womens center, the lady in the lobby was rude. I didnt know who my doctor was because of a last minute change of schedule and change of doctor. Plus the fact that i am a completly new patient. She treated me like I was stupid because I didnt know which Dr I was seeing, even after I explained her that the womens center itself had to call me and change who I was seeing. (It was originally supposed to be Gregory)When I finally realized my Dr was Dr. Sparks, I went to his office. The ladies at that front desk were super sweet and jolly.Dr. Sparks and his nurse, Millie (?) Were good. However, there were two other nurses, whom every time I asked for their help (that place is a maze and they are not helpful on telling you where to go next) they would literally snicker at me to each other and gave me the most patronizing looks. That look, combined with a why the hell are you talking to me look is not something two women should give another woman who is scared and alone in a womens medical center. I felt so unwelcome.Thankfully Millie intercepted to help me and led me to the labs. She then told me to simply ask the lab tech for my results. When I did so, the lab tech also gave me a weird look, like I was doing something wrong. They were like uhh? What results?? I felt so stupid there. I gave them my name and she was still giving me an incredulous look like how dare I ask for the results of my lab. Finally the lab techs woke up and gave me my results. But I am not kidding when I say these people gave me such a hard time, and I felt so stupid there. When I went for my ultrasound in a different office, the lady at the front desk was arguing with a patient about the time of her appointment and being very rude to the patient. My ultrasound tech was very kind, however.Like I said, Dr. Sparks was okay. He didnt really smile or try to make me feel comfortable like my old doctor in Dothan did. He was just a typical, standard doctor that helped me. Maybe I was just spoiled in Dothan.Overall, my experience was not pleasant due to the rude nurses, lab techs, front lobby person, and the second hand rude vibes from the front desk woman in the ultrasound dept.If it werent for the front desk women in Dr. Sparks office, dr. Sparks nurse Millie, and somewhat Dr. Sparks, I would never come back again.
