Dr. Santoro is the best! She’s very professional and doesn’t rush your visit like some healthcare professionals do. She doesn’t pressure you but truly listens to your needs as you navigate those important decisions. I love her and would give 10 stars if I could.

I have seen all of the OBGYNs in this group and they are all amazing. Dr. McKinney always goes above and beyond for me, makes me feel comfortable and is the sweetest soul you will ever meet! Staff is always so friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend!

Dr. Kathryn Santoro is AMAZING. This is more so for her staff that is unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. It should not take me calling the office 2-3 times a week for an issue to be resolved. The office manager literally just had someone call me to tell me to “Not call her again” and I had only reached out twice. Very disappointed.

I love Dr. McKinney!! She is so very kind and supportive of your decisions and choices. Always makes me feel comfortable and supported. I look forward to walking through future pregnancies under her care.

In this day and age of healthcare- this practice is in a class all by itself. Dr. McKinney doesn’t treat you like a number, she treats you like her sister.I’ve seen one other member of Women’s Health Specialist (Dr. Heaton) and was treated the exact same way.They are cutting edge professionally, and completely compassionate and connected-personally.Every female in my family uses them, and I’ve referred clients as well.I can’t recommend them enough.

First time meeting Dr. McKinney and she had an incredibly warm bedside manner and made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. McKinney was thorough and shared some great insight to the questions I had for her.

Dr. McKinney is so easy to talk to and made me feel at ease at my first GYN visit. She creates a judgment free zone and you feel like you can talk to her freely!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. McKinney! She is personable, professional and really listens to you to make sure you are okay and feel comfortable! I can’t tell you how many times while I was pregnant that I came to an appointment overwhelmed, crying and scared. Every time she reassured me that I had a healthy baby and overall health, perfect pregnancy. My delivery was great and I can’t thank her enough for her help! It’s sad that you go from seeing your doctor every month or more and building a relationship with them to only going once year! Haha.I will say wait times are awful to get back to the doctor. If there was a way to help the wait times it would be better. But again I’ll wait however long to see her 😊

Dr. McKinney is an irresponsible doctor with little respect for her patients. She butchered the implantation of my nexaplanon resulting in a scar on my arm. Not a big deal, but none of my other implantations resulted in a scar. Most recently, she refused to refill a necessary prescription I have been on for years that she previously filled. I was told this was for legal obligations, but I’m aware of the restrictions surrounding my longterm medication and this is not it. Honestly, I think this was a rash attempt to get an out-of-network patient stuck with a bill in the middle of a pandemic... I’m not going to guess what’s going on in that bird brain of hers, but I know either Dr. McKinney isn’t thinking of her patients general well-being, or the office staff here is incapable of passing a message along. Would have been nice if she or anyone at the office would have called me to discuss this situation, but, alas, I write this review. 2 stars for the woman who hung up on me on the phone, that was a nice touch.

Went in for a new patient appointment today, and I was a little late (15 minutes) because of traffic. They still got me back quick, and everyone was extremely personable and friendly, from check in to check out. Nicest gynecologist office Ive been to. Very clean, warm, and welcoming environment. I would recommend this group to anyone looking! Ive never been so comfortable in this type setting, but I have definitely found a lifelong doctor and great group!

Dr Campbell is wonderful as are the rest of the staff at Womens Health Specialists of Birmingham. The office is quick to get back to you about any questions. The facility is modern and clean. They keep toys, snacks, and bottled water in the waiting room. Really the only downfall is how long it takes to get in for your annual.

I have followed Dr. Bill from Henderson & Walton to his own practice, and then his move to Grandview and love everyone there! Everyone is so caring and thorough! I love Dr. Bill but would be happy seeing any of the doctors there. Couldnt imagine using any other practice! The move to grandview was the best decision they have ever made!

I love Dr. Heaton. You could not ask for a better doctor. She has went above and beyond taking care of me through two pregnancies. She even sent me a specialist for a second opinion on some issues. She will definitely take good care of you and your babies! Also the staff always was friendly and took great care of me the whole time. Cant go wrong using Womens Health Specialist!

I love this place! Everyone is so friendly and helpful and the facility is very modern and always very clean. My doctor is the best, and always makes me feel at home and willing to listen to all my concerns and questions. I would highly recommend this office and all its doctors. :-)

My wife had major surgery in June 2016 and Dr. McKinney was the nicest doctor we have ever dealt with. Pre-surgery and on follow-up she spend as much time with us as needed, explained everything in a way that we could understand, and was genuinely concerned for us every step of the way. She has the best bedside manner we have ever experienced in the medical field.

If anybody had something bad to say about her , then something is wrong with them! She is soo amazing! I had a miscarriage, and she gave me soo much comfort. She told me that I will be back to see her. Within 10 months, I was pregnant again! I enjoyed every doctor visit! From the front desk to the doctors, they made you feel like family.

Absolutely love her! She came highly recommended by a friend. She was prompt, thorough, informative. Finally found someone I love.

I loved Dr.McKinney and was her patient for over 3 years. Unfortunately, quality of care all around has diminished since the move to Grandview.After all the headaches, I am now waiting to receive a copy of my records so I can go somewhere else (which takes 7-10 business days to process btw).

Let me preface by saying that I HATE going to the doctor - esp gyn (who doesnt though), but Dr Campbell and her staff eased my anxiety & made my visit comfortable. She and her staff were quick, thorough, and knowledgeable. The office is beautiful and the other office staff were helpful. I wont mind nearly so much going back.

The staff at WHSB are amazing! They are friendly, helpful, and make you feel as if you are a part of their family! Their offices are incredible, child-friendly and wonderfully clean. I always feel like Im at a Spa day instead of the doctors office. All the doctors are great but we especially love Dr. Heaton. She delivered both of my girls and helped us have the birthing experience we were wanting.

Up until I met Dr. McKinney I had awful experiences with OBGYN’s. She is the most genuine and caring doctor I have ever had. I HIGHLY recommend her!

Dr Margaret Miclik is a wonderful doctor! This was my third child and didn’t have a good experience with my last child. She was very thorough, knowledgeable and personable which counts for so much!! I love her!! If I’m ever pregnant again I won’t hesitate to go see her! The labor and delivery dept was amazing!! Tanya took great care of me! Post partum unit was also amazing I honestly can’t say anything negative about my birthing experience at grandview!!!

The Doctor was great, sadly the office itself was a billing nightmare. I finally just had to pay out of pocket for lab work that they never would file correctly. My insurance carrier would have paid for the lab work yet this office would not file it correctly. This was after I was billed for $600 in procedures on newborn twin boys performed BEFORE my visit to the office. That took several calls to correct. So if you have time to waste trying to sort out your bills, they are a fine office. Otherwise keep looking. I wont be going back.

Absolutely love the staff! They are always kind and efficent. This needs to be the hospital recognized as where healthy and happy babies come from.

Overall terrible experience at this practice! The admin staff was not friendly from start to end. I waited in the exam room way longer than necessary and when the doctor and nurse did come in, they were so quick in and out that I didnt feel like I had any time to absorb anything that was said to me or ask questions. I was originally at the office for my annual appointment but that was quickly forgotten by the staff and I left the office without having the annual completed. I didnt even get a chance to say anything because of how quickly I was ushered out of the room after my appointment. I was sent home with a medicine that wasnt covered by my insurance and then when I called the nurses back the next day to ask a question, I was criticized for not filing the prescription. Additionally, I called and left a message a second time to make sure my insurance was filed correctly since I didnt have my annual and never heard back from anyone and will likely now to have to deal with it AFTER its gone through my insurance. Maybe if you are pregnant or have a child already, you will be okay... if you dont, I suspect they are just trying to get you in and out as quickly as possible.

Let me start by saying that I followed Dr. Campbell from Brookwood to St. Vincents to Grandview. Unfortunately, once the practice moved to Grandview, everything changed. My first visit there I had to wait three hours to be seen, and I wasnt even offered another appointment. The second time I went, I was told that because my mother had breast cancer, they wanted to start doing mammograms on me now (Im 26). The longer theyve been associated with Grandview, the less friendly they are. Now, you cant get an appointment for almost a month, they try to just pawn you off on the nurse, they want to run as many tests on you as possible, and even when youve been a patient for a while, they dont remember you. If you want a doctors office where they know you, care about you, and listen to your needs, unfortunately, this is no longer the place to go.

Amazing. I love Dr. Miklic and followed her when she moved.First of all hands down the nicest facility I’ve ever had and kind of treatment done in. Secondly, Margret Miklic is my guardian angel and I’d recommend her to anyone!Third, the staff were very timely. I was seen within 15 mins of my appointment time and the nursing staff were very kind (yet efficient). Actually enjoyed my appointment!

I was very pleased with my experience at Dr. Katie Mckinneys office. I can be a hard critic; for example, if my dentist teeth arent white than I wouldnt go back there. It feels really good to be treated with professionalism and care. Dr. McKinney exemplifies both! She is also extremely knowledgeable! If you are seeking OB/GYN or just GYN care; then, Dr. Katie McKinney is the doctor for you!! I trust her to help me maintain my pocketbook. See you soon!!

A little intimidating and difficult to find at first if youre unfamiliar with Grandview. The wait was long and when I was seen it seemed very rushed. Felt like a very incomplete appointment and discussions I wanted to have seemed unwelcomed. Staff was friendly but may have too many patients to give the proper care and attention needed.

I had out-patient surgery, I think and no they took really good care of me Im very satisfied Dr. C u are the best.. A1 in my book

Love Dr. Miklic!! She is absolutely an amazing Doctor!! If I didnt have to move she would continue being my doctor!! She was my obstetrician through my last pregnancy and made everything very easy! She also preformed my C-section and tied my tubes at the same time! She is dedicated to her patients and always has enough time to talk through things! And even though there were a few times I had quite a wait for my apointments she always apologized and explained why and it was usually bc she was in surgery! Thank you sooooo much Dr. Miklic, you are awesome!!! Oh and the hospital staff was awesome for my postpartum recovery! They were so kind and always willing to help!

Pregnancy has never agreed with me. This one was no different. I had a Kidney infection, recurring UTIs and at the end a failing Gall Bladder that caused miserable episodes of agony. I needed a LOT of attention and McKinney was always there. She was so pleasant at appointments, thorough and professional and whether I walked into her office an hour late or an hour early she found a way to have me seen quickly. Her team at Womens Health Services were incredible, there are no other words. Doctor Hudson saw me a few times in the ER and like McKinney I was treated with the same prompt, professional courtesy you could only expect from a world- class hospital. I had to be induced early due to my Gall Bladder issues and due to nerve damage they werent able to get the needle in for an epidural during either of the two attempts. I had an unexpected natural labor and my pain threshold was virtually nonexistent before this. I was unprepared, terrified, convinced I was dying. I seem to recall begging her for a cesarean. Between McKinney, nurse Hamilton and the nursing manager, they pulled me through the ring of fire, saved my infant who had the cord around her neck and handed me my beautiful daughter, Lydia Lux. I cant express my profound gratitude enough. So if youre looking for an OBGYN, look no further.

Staff was friendly but unfortunately I was left waiting in the exam room for an hour the first time & 45 min the next. Left without being seen, Dr came out to apologize as I was getting my copay back but I just felt it was unacceptable to be left in the room covered in paper for that long.
