I have been coming to this office for over 30 years. The staff has always been kind and professional. I have been seeing Dr. Pruitt for many years now and he is the absolute best. Always takes time to sit down and discuss concerns and health changes. And is genuinely interested in any concern I have. I hope he never retires!

My first app was not supposed to be until Oct. 15th but I had some issues and Dr. Pruitt and his staff literally got me in the day after calling them, the ultrasound tech very sweet and reassuring, Dr.Pruitt was very professional, but better then professional he was truly caring he, listened to my concerns and thoughts and ensured me he would do everything he could. In my 12 years of seeing OBGYNS I have never been to a group that is more caring and passionate about their patients, if you are reading this and you are concerned about swapping OBs , please just do it you will not be disappointed.

I have been with Eastern OB/GYN for many years and have enjoyed my experience with Dr. Bryan Pruitt. He is very personable and shows a genuine care for his patients.

Dr. Pruitt exemplifies professionalisms. He has been providing care to me for many years. He takes time to discuss my prior and or current medical issues. He is never in a rush. Dr. Pruitt has such a great disposition. The entire office staff is wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Pruitt.

I am very pleased with this doctor and his staff. They are caring, kind and knowledgeable and make the experience as pleasant as possible. Also the mammogram tech has to be the best in town. Definitely consider Dr. Pruitt. The overall experience was A+.

Dr. Pruitt has been great as my doctor since I had to get a new doctor. He listens. His nurse is knowledgeable but has no bed side manners. Shes ok. Thats why I have a 4 instead of a 5. Its a complete experience and very personal. It can be emotional or mentally challenging to deal with these appointments or news you hear. You want a compassionate doctor and support staff.

My first time to see Dr. Pruitt and I have to say, I found he and his staff to be very personable and professional. I was in and out in about 30 minutes and felt Dr. Pruitt listened and responded to my issues. I have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Let me start off by saying this is the first review I have ever submitted.Eastern Ob Gyn fit me into their schedule w/ Dr. Pruitt today due to my discomfort from an 8cm ovarian cyst. I was seen in the ER and admitted to UAB Medical West in Bessemer this past weekend by Dr. Stephens. After I was discharged, I began to have unpleasant symptoms of nausea. I called Dr. Stephen and Dr. Gills office (Medical West) 2-3 times and left a message with the nurse to call me back..I never received a call back.I cannot thank Dr. Pruitts office enough for fitting me in so quickly. Dr. Pruitt made me feel so comfortable and at easy (which meant the world to me due to the lack of care I got from Medical West Ob/Gyn). I am 25 and recently moved from North Carolina and have no family here, so as you can imagine, all of this was scary to me. I want to thank Dr. Pruitt and his staff for picking up the slack from my prior Ob/Gyn. He truly is the best doctor and I will recommend him to anyone!

I have been an established patient at this office for more than 18 yrs. Dr. Pruitt is great to see for yearly visits, acts like he is a truly concerned doctor but you find out what he’s really like when you have an emergency. He throws you off on a nurse practitioner when you have an urgent need. His nurse is also very rude and hard to deal with...and she lied to me. Sad and extremely disappointed.

I havent seen Dr. Pruitt since my last pregnancy in 2009. Dr. Pruitt always seemed to be laughing or smiling when I went for my check up. I hope I made his day, lol. Its been a while, lol. My experience with Dr. Pruitt and his his staff was awesome. He encouraged me to gain weight. I am 5 feet and weighed 120 lbs at the time. Every time I saw my doctor, he would say you need to put more weight on. And I would say Im trying doctor, lol. At the end I was weighing almost 150 lbs. My son decided to stay inside me for two weeks after his due date. Dr. Pruitt and I had a difference of opinions about waiting after my due date. I wanted him to schedule a date and Dr. Pruitt wanted to wait. He said as long as I was healthy, then he can stay inside me. Of course I didnt want to hear that messed, lol. We waited and by the time he said lets schedule a date and I was got in assigned room and was waiting on someone to induced my labor, my son decided to come. Then Dr. Pruitt came into my room smiling that morning and said, see he came right on time, lol. So I had a little complications during my labor and Dr. Pruitt said we need to do a c-section because my hips are narrow and they didnt expand . So I told him I didnt want to scar and he said my son was in distressed, so long story short ,lol, my son, Jaxon, has arrived. He was a big baby. My scar is small and barely noticeable. So thank you for that Dr. Pruitt.

My doctor was Dr. Pruitt but they have pushed me off on a nurse practitioner who doesnt know what she is doing. I have only seen Dr. Pruitt 3 times during my pregnancy. Now Im stuck seeing the nurse practitioner and the rude doctor above her. Will never go here again.
