The receptionist took very good care of us. The nurse was above and beyond the call of her duty, in which I greatly appreciate. I was not to impressed with the doctor.... ? or if she is entitled to being one. I got a first name, Gail. My son was very sick with a fever, running nose, yet stuffy nose, a tickle in the throat, and coughing. A flu test was ran, it was negative. My son was swabed for a covid test, as well as I was. As far as I recall that was my decision, as we were in process of being taken back to the examining room. I chose the most accurate test, which has to be sent off. After hearing that my son had a virus she was just sending us on our way with no suggestions of at home treatment we could do. Only when we were standing up at my request did she give any directions of treatment. I feel as though she could have been much more caring. I felt as though we were only important enough to be checked off for a pay check. I love and respect any health care physician that not only does there job but goes above and beyond the call of duty. But would this really be considered going above and beyond, its really your job to do so. You should be passionate about the position you hold. We rely on a great doctor. We put our health in your care. Many thanks to all that deeply care. I appreciate you!

On vacation here from New York. Our 2 year old was sick and needed to be seen. Easy to set up an appointment quickly. Minimal waiting time to be seen. All staff from front office to providers were super friendly. Providers were very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.

Urgent Care for Children is such a great place !!! I highly recommend using them ! As a working mother - I am so thankful for their late hours.I was so impressed with the nurses and all the staff ~ so friendly, patient and informative! I appreciated their willingness to help calm my son down when he was nervous and loved how they served patients with a smile and dose of comfort. Highly recommend! ✅

Today was the first time using them and we would definitely recommend. We were in and out in less than 2 hours which isn’t bad for a weekend urgent care clinic to me. The staff was super friendly and answered all my questions.

Our family has used Urgent Care for Children several times and our experience has always been exceptional. I’m grateful that they offer services later in the evening. We have never had to wait more than a few minutes to see the doctor/nurse. During our last visit, Dr. Luk was our physician. Not only is she professional, trustworthy and thorough, she was upbeat and friendly. Can’t say enough good things about Urgent Care for Children.

The entire staff was extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. The wait time is reasonable. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. You can schedule on appointment online, upload your drivers license, and insurance card, so you dont have to complete any paperwork when you arrive. When you arrive, stay in your car, check-in on your phone, and they will text you when they are ready for you to enter the building to ensure the health and safety of all. It was so convenient.

Dr. Craig saw my grandson for an upper respiratory infection and she was quite thorough. I am rating her a 5/5 for her attentiveness and professionalism. The young lady, Emily, who attended us for triage was equally courteous and polite. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Latonya at the front desk for her kindness. Excellence in care!

Only go if you HAVE to. Did a telehealth visit and the online doctor thought my daughter may have chicken pox but said we needed to see someone in person. Went to this facility because it was a Saturday and my pediatricians office wasnt open. The doctor didnt do any test, was barely in the room more than a minute. Just said yes, it is chicken pox and recommended Benadryl and Neosporin (?????). Neither of which are recommended for chicken pox. When I ask about taking the lab test to make sure, he laughed and said there isnt a test for chicken pox. We treated her legs for several days and then went to our dermatologist. She had a bacterial infection on her leg. NOT CHICKEN POX. There IS a test for chicken pox by the way. Terrible doctor and not accurate service. Dont go unless you have no other options.

These are the kind of people you won’t find anywhere else. The young lady at the front desk was super kind and helpful with any concerns regarding to covid. As well as her helper Kaylee gave some solid advice and was able to get me in and out really quick! All in all I beyond pleased with their work, and happy I choose them. 👍

Everyone was so incredibly nice. The facility was great. The doctor we saw was very understanding, did not push unnecessary tests, and listened when we explained past illness and what has and has not worked. Such a great experience. This is the only urgent care we’ll use from now on.

Visit was good and a long wait time was expected since we were walk-ins. Staff were great. I would have given it a 5 stars except that the solv app made me cycle through 53 years worth of months to reach a guarantor date of birth, and their live waiting list was not functioning properly.

Came here today as it was the only urgent care with a slot for the same day.Wait time was a little longer than scheduled (25 minutes), but their online system was very helpful. It shows where youre at on the wait list, and explained they were having a delay.We had a wonderful nurse, who was in high spirits and extremely helpful dealing with a sick teenager.The doctor came in and got straight to the point and we received our results, given care instructions and medicine, and left.My only complaint is the parking lot is small.Thank you to all the frontline workers who are going above and beyond for us.

Everything was awesome the receptionist was amazing, the doctors were amazing and nice. My daughters loved them because they gave them lollipops at the end. I would DEFINITELY return and recommend them to someone else!!

We had a great experience at this clinic. Besides the wait time (which is to be expected due to having to clean thoroughly between patient visits), everything went well. They were quick and efficient, and our nurse was very kind and caring. Would definitely go back!

The staff was absolutely wonderful! They made our 3 year old comfortable and had great interactions with him. We got there 30 minutes before they closed but we never felt rushed. The staff was very attentive to us. Great place and would highly recommend!

My daughter is used to going to various doctors because she was born a preemie. This was one of our absolute best experiences. The staff were so attentive and catered to my almost 3 year old. Definitely put myself and her father at ease while being there. In and out with testing and a plan within 2.5 hours. Highly recommend!

Excellent service. We got right in without an appointment. Medical assistant, nurses, & nurse practitioner where absolutely stellar—so sweet & professional. We will definitely be back in the future for any urgent pediatric issues. Could not have had a better experience.

The staff went above and beyond for my family! We were the last appointment of the evening (9:30 p.m.)and the staff didnt make us feel rushed at all. The Dr. Was amazing. Our nurse Chloe was fantastic. The receptionist was amazing as well.

Was disappointed. Waited 2 hours after scheduled appointment time. Test was negative for covid, but they didn’t check for anything else. No prescriptions or plan of care. Provider wouldn’t even prescribe cough syrup, saying it doesn’t help much once a child reaches 12 years old. Nor steroids because they have side effects. We did not feel cared for and felt it was a waste of time and money.

Even though we were a Walk-In, Service was super fast! Everyone Was really friendly and this location is SUPER clean! 10/10 would recommend!

So disappointed in this place. Had no appointments available, but they said online that walk-ins were welcome. Tried calling multiple times to confirm, but I never could get someone to talk to. We came in an hour before they even closed, and we were turned away saying the doctors werent taking anyone else today. If your walk-in clinic is supposed to be OPEN, and you dont answer your phone to inform otherwise, youve wasted my time. My daughter was very sick, and you turned her away because you didnt want to see anyone else while you were OPEN.Moral of the story - dont try and go in while open because theyll turn you away. Got it.

We had an appointment at 9:45 and weren’t seen until about 10:15, so we weren’t thrilled about that. But the doctor completely made up for it. She was incredible and we will definitely recommend this location just for her!

Even though the reason for our visit was due to my LO being sick, these ladies showed up to show out and I can not TY enough! Walked in with a sick toddler and walked out with a calm reassured mommy! I dont want to speak future sickness on us but when that day comes, yall will definitely be our 1st go to!

Our visit for a test was easy and pleasant. My son needed to take a PCR COVID test on a Saturday, and I was able to book him an appointment online. I easily filled out paperwork online before, checked in from my phone at arrival, and were notified to enter via text. The assistant and doctor were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. His PCR test results were ready via email 3 days after our office visit.

Dr. Luk is awesome! So kind and thorough! My daughter loved her! We will definitely be back and hopefully get to see her!

I had to take my two little kids 2 and under in pretty late. We were seen pretty fast considering I didn’t make an appointment beforehand. The facility was very clean and the staff, nurses, and the Doctor were very nice.

This place has come a long way since Covid-19. I used them before the Covid breakout and continue to do so. Their hours are great and they accept walk-ins. They streamlined the appt process making it much easier by using the Solv app. If you need a Covid test, this is the place to go. At one time, they did curbside Covid testing which was very convenient. Some places may still do that, but the two locations I use do not. Got some testing done today. Nothing more than nasal swabs. The medical technician administering the test was not wearing gloves, which I though was odd. There could be some cross contamination going on there; management needs to address that with their employees. Overall this place is my go to for sick kids and even Covid testing for Adults.

The employees are great. Super nice.and Dr. Pelham was thorough.The 4 stars is because with an appointment it took 50 min before we were seen, the room is unbearably hot and still waiting after being in a room for a total of an hour and still here. I have 2 kids with me because there’s no one to watch my kids. And it’s been extremely stressful and it seems to take forever for what’s most likely a uti.

This was my second time visiting them and they didn’t disappoint. I was in and out in 20 mins my first visit but that was pre COVID. Even with the virus back on the rise, and the lobby a little fuller than normal, we were in and out in about a little over an hour. That’s faster than a Children’s ER or a walk in appt with her pediatrician. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend them.

Very well organized. Online appointment was so easy to get. No wait to see the doctor. The appointments are spaced out so waiting area had no one in it except us. Overall excellent and a very professional experience.

What a joke this place is. Rude desk clerks that could careless that you waited 3 hours in your car with your crying child. You can’t get an appointment online after 5pm but when you show up without an appointment you are told there is a 2 hour wait and then your time is bumped back every time an appointment shows. Very poor experience both times we tried to use this place. I’ll go downtown from now on.

My son and I were in and out in less than 30 minutes. The doctor listened to me...no one ever wants to listen...but I know my children...I knew his right war was infected. She listened, confirmed, checked him out, prescribed and goddess out of the door! My family and I are always impressed by the entire staff here... Except for the lady in charge of billing... She is terrible, awful at her job...

I was in bit of a panic because my 2 oldest children were running fevers, had runny noses, and coughing. I have a 7 month old as well. In the midst of me panicking, I made the appointments and did the online paperwork all wrong….silly me. When we went in for the appointment, they told me it was okay and they tagged team with my children. We were there 45mins almost a hour at the most. Doctor Spellman was very nice and thorough and after their tests, they even gave them popsicles which my children loved!!!!

From the phone call I made to make my inquiry to the end of the visit, my expectations were exceeded. Everyone was professionally, friendly, nice and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who needs help. I feel like normally when you go to anywhere late at night, you kind of don’t get the best, but I felt quite the opposite with this place. Great place.

This place is and has always been amazing! Such a wonderful, friendly staff and super quick in and out! Up until today I have always had a positive experience. The nurse practitioner on duty today was very unfriendly and made me feel like I was wasting her time when asking questions about my sons positive rapid covid test. I have never dealt personally with covid before and she kept asking if I had questions but hardly gave me any answers I needed. Ill call my childs pediatrician today for those answers and I wont be back if that nurse practitioner is there period!

We took our son for a COVID-19 test and the doctor and staff were wonderful! We made an appointment in advance and the entire process was quick and easy. Our doctor was so patient, kind, and thorough. Could not have had a better experience under the circumstances. Highly recommend!

After trying several other walk in clinics & being turned away (including the Trussville Children’s Urgent Care)they (Highway 280 location) took us in and were very nice.

Only draw back was I was called back 40 min after my scheduled time. Put us in a small time crunch. But the doctor was amazing. And my little toddler princess put her through the test.

Very simple registration process & was able to wait in our car. The app shows your number in line which is great! Short wait time & very sweet nurses & doctor! They calmed my fears and gave us e cells that care! Highly recommend!

I took my kids for covid tests Aug 2020. The children were covered by medicaid which pays for covid tests. The urgent care submitted the billing incorrectly as Blue Cross. My ex wife called months ago and they said they would correct the issue. 7 months later I am still getting statements for $390 for each child.

This was the simplest process down from scheduling an appointment through the app & even canceling and rescheduling it was as easy as a quick tap of a button.WOW!The staff were incredibly helpful & friendly and I was in an out and no more than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this facility and I’ve already done so for anyone looking for somewhere to be tested for Covid or if you need the center for your children.

Awful experience for curb side testing. Got a bill in the mail for an office visit for over $300 FIVE MONTHS LATER. Not for testing. Office visit, which never happened. We never got out of the car. No disclosure of massive visit fee, which was denied by insurance. Would not recommend.

I was given conflicting information outside from a potential patient while scheduling my appointment in my car. I am glad that I called instead because the receptionist informed me the total opposite. We had an excellent experience! The doctor on duty helped make a tough situation better by giving my daughter stickers and candy so that the nurse could proceed with the COVID testing. I have already told all my friends and family about this place. Outstanding service!

Everyone we have spoken with and interacted with have been extremely kind and very thorough. They made me feel like my children were the priority which is huge coming from a provider myself. Everything had a quick turn around, results were explained and all my “mama questions” were answered. I highly recommend the 280 location.

I’ve made several trips to this urgent care clinic with my 3 daughters over the past couple of years & I will have to say that each time has been a good experience. We haven’t waited more than 15mins to be seen. I felt that our issues and concerns were addressed with professionalism and genuine concern for my children’s well-being. I would recommend this clinic to any person needing pediatric urgent care.

Contactless forms to fill, painless Check-in process, lovely and helpful office manager. Friendly staff, helpful and knowledgeable. I have brought my kids here many times. It’s a great place and great group of medical professionals.
