If I could give no stars I would. Me and my family are coming from texas and see how sad it is that people of color are treated VERY DIFFERENTLY here. The effort from the receptionist is disgusting and the nasty attitude is even better! These women at the receptionist desk wouldn’t even help me out they “did the best they could do” with very minimal effort. I trust my old pediatrics office so when they tell me they sent over my sons records 3 times and this office claims they don’t have nothing seems like it’s bigger then my medical records especially when attitude was constantly given. Me and my son will pass on this office.

Dr. Irons is absolutely amazing! We’ve been using her for 3 years and she always goes above and beyond and is very very thorough. Also there is absolutely no waiting what so ever and of course well checks and sick are separated. Highly recommend Dr Elizabeth Irons ♥️

We love Dr. Dugan and his staff. They are and have always been wonderful to my three kids. The nurses are helpful and always friendly. They have shown me time and time again that they truly care about the well being of my kids. I’ve never had a problem getting a nurse to call me back or even the doctor if needed. I trust this group with my childrens health care needs.

Very friendly and helpful staff, very short wait time. Prompt call backs if leaving a message with the nurse. Dr. Irons is wonderful! She takes the time to listen and talk through any questions or concerns we might have.

Dr. Victoria Anderson is so wonderful. We could not be ask for a better doctor, she goes way beyond the average doctor does for her patients and their families. And her nurse that is does call backs has always returned my call within 30 minutes. Also the nurse who has the dreaded job of giving shots💉 gave my 5year old a flu shot and thanks to her and the 💉 Blocker my baby never felt it. Thanks for all yall do we 💜yall

I have been taking my children to this office for 2 years now. The front desk is always nice, they call us back before we can even sit down most days, and they are so happy and friendly with my kids. They ask them about their day and create a comforting environment for them. Dr. Dugan is amazing. He always listens to my concerns- and even prints out more information on topics I struggle with understanding. He shows my children they matter by the way he addresses them personally and explains things in kid- friendly ways!!

Today is Tuesday, October 16, 2018. I was just told that I cannot get my son a flu shot until sometime next week? I was also told that there are different flu shots based on what kind of insurance you have. That is crazy so I questioned her again to clarify and she said yes, it depends what insurance you have. Are you kidding me! I asked if they have any flu shot clinics scheduled. The response was, maybe in the future. I asked If this is the time of the year to get flu shots and she responded yes. The front desk sure does work hard to be difficult. Did not even try to get us in on Thursday or Friday for a flu shot that might have taken them 10 minutes to administer. We love Dr. Darby. It just would be nice if the front desk was a little helpful.

We absolutely love Dr. Anderson! She is very friendly and easy to talk to. Both of my girls love seeing her. She always takes the time to talk to us and answer all our questions. She truly cares about her patients.

Our kids have always gone here and we have never once had an issue with our Dr or this location. Everything is top notch.

We followed Dr. Irons from her previous practice and have been pleased. We rarely wait in the waiting room and most of the time they call my daughter back while were still checking in. The staff is friendly with my daughter and me. I like using the online patient portal they have and I always get quick responses from the nurse. Ive always been able to make same day appointments and have only had to see other doctors at this practice once. Ive taken my daughter to the Hoover location on Saturdays twice and have seen doctors from the Alabaster and Hoover locations but my daughter received the same quality treatment both times. If youre looking for a pediatrician, I highly recommend Dr. Irons. Shes great with my daughter and explains things to my husband and me. Dr. Irons is also good at calming me down because I do tend to worry as a first time mom and a special education teacher.

Dr. Irons is FANTASTIC!!! My girls adore her and don’t mind going to the doctor at all. She is very friendly, always happy, very informative, and cares about her patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Irons to family and friends!

We love Dr. Glasgow at Brook Highland! Hes conservative, which is extremely hard to find in a doctor these days. The front desk & checkout staff are amazing and weve never had a nurse we did not like. Ive never had a bad experience with the billing department either. 5 stars!

If your child is sick and you need to bring them in, they will not allow you to see anyone but your primary doctor. So, if your doctor is booked that day, you are out of luck. They told me I could take my daughter to an urgent care center but she couldnt be seen at their office by another doctor. I have never seen this policy in a pediatricians office, and it seems they dont have their patients best interest in mind.

The doctors were great! The staff however was very rude. The ladies at the front desk were very unprofessional, rude, and condescending. Would not suggest going here unless you want to be treated like you don’t deserve to be there.

The physicians at the Alabaster location are great. The receptionists and billing personnel and office manager are rude. They are also extremely strict on their no show pay $25 fee. Even if you have never missed an appointment, they DID NOT call and remind you of an appointment, DID NOT give you a reminder card, and your in the office 3 times a month with your kids. They state calls are a courtesy. They also then blame their rules on the doctors but thats a lie as well. They are able to waive unjust bills in the doctor gives them permission. I work in healthcare and know this first hand. They really need to learn customer service skills instead of making people feel enslaved due to their stupid policies. What about a one time forgiveness clause??? Stuff happens and being a jerk will only come back on you 10 times over.

We love the treatment and care we receive here. Dr. Anderson is our doctor, and shes caring and kind. Doesnt talk down to parents and makes you feel very comfortable during each visit.

My children has been going here for ten years and I couldnt be more pleased. They see Dr. Darby McElderberry most often. My children adore her, feel most comfortable with her, and she treats us like shes a part of our family. Shes usually booked, but I understand why and Im willing to wait because I consistently get excellent customer service here. Its great to have a physician who advocates for my children as passionately as I do! I couldnt imagine my children going anywhere else!

I went for the first time after selecting them from reading good reviews after moving to Birmingham, and from family friend recommendations. The front desk was terribly rude. I came 10 minutes early to complete paperwork and had my husband follow me with my 3 year old, who had strep. When I signed her in thinking I had 10 minutes of paperwork to complete, they called me back immediately and I told them my husband should be in with my 3 yr old any moment now. She shot me a look and walked away without saying anything. I only received one paper to fill out, no medical history or insurance forms. My husband arrived only a couple of moments later and I went to hand them the paper and let them know. Well, 35 minutes later and after watching 5 groups go back that had arrived and signed in after, they said we werent in time for our appointment so had to wait. I was furious! We were on time, and I was being punished for arriving early to fill out paperwork! To add insult to injury, the Dr. didnt listen to anything we had to say and prescribed something we knew as parents would not work for her illness due to plenty of experience, Im writing this today because I am going to another Dr. for a NEW prescription because she is sick again only a month later!!!!

Do not come here I repeat do not come here!!! This place shouldnt be in business it is like a circus and they never get us well. The staff is rude and doesnt seem to know what they are doing

We love Dr. Anderson! She takes very good care of my kids when we have to visit whether it be a sick visit or a check up and all the other doctors we have seen at this office have been great too.

We moved here 1.5 years ago and decided to go to Greenvale based on Good reviews and recommendations. I will NEVER go back not would I recommend anyone go. Upon moving I had my childs records transferred etc to set her up should she become ill.One month after living here she got an ear infection and we went to the doctor. They tried to send us away without a sick child appointment. Fortunately, they were able to work us in and the issue was resolved. Since, she has had one annual check up.Today, she has another ear infection. I called since I was given such a difficult time last time. They said the nurse would have to call me back. It was 12pm. The nurse called and said they cant see my child who is sick on a Friday. She suggested I try the after hours clinic at 4pm. I could leave a message and then they would call me back to schedule an appointment. All after 4pm. With a child who has an ear infection and is in pain.Seriously?!? I cannot begin to describe my anger. How absolutely ridiculous. You cannot see a sick child when you are their physician? What is even the point of going there?Now I have to take my child to an emergency care doctor. Fortunately I found one as well as a new primary physician.Greenvale Peds DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD! They do not care about their health or their wellbeing. I cannot warn you away strongly enough. I would hate for another parent to wind up upset and stuck in a crappy situation on a Friday afternoon like I am.

Dr. Anderson has been great, the problem is the other staff. I had billing issues that left me with a bill paying for an office visit out of pocket. I called to see what happened and was told to call my insurance. I called my insurance and was told I was billed for 2 of the same visits in 1 day. When I tried to call back to the office to resolve the issue it didnt happen. After I started to get frustrated from the girl telling me the same thing over and over rather then trying to resolve the issue I told them I would find another office to go to since they would not help me. I then called my insurance back and stated my issues with this office and they are in the process of fixing it for them. Rather then billing 2 identical officice visits they just needed to make them the 2 seperate, basically identifying what I went for. I asked the drs office to call multiple times to try to sort things out which she would not do and I was told they bill Blue Cross all the time and its never an issue it must be my insurances problem. I will not be going back, but we will miss Dr. Andersons kindness which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

The doctors themselves are great (only reason I gave 2 stars) but the staff is dreadful. Everytime I have called over the past 2 years the nurse always trys to diagnose over the phone and refuses to schedule my daughter (8 years old now). I now have a new born. He has broken out in a rash all over his body and it is getting worse. I was told it is notmal if it is localized to the cheeks and just white bumps. I said 3 times in one phone conversation it is not white bumps they are red and that is had spread to his head (in the hair) and his chest. She still couldnt understand it was not white bumps or localized and told me to call if it gets worse. I did today (day 3) cause now his entire head and body are covered and they are still calling it normal. How would they know if they havent seen him?! I dont call being covered in a red rash normal. I shouldnt have to beg my doctors office to see my child. I shouldnt have to beg someone to take my money.

We love Dr. Odrezin, her nurses and the staff! This is a wonderful practice!

I have had terrible experiences here! BOTH of my children have had misdiagnoses with BOTH doctors and nurses here and have not been happy at all!!! after loosing dr. Tori Anderson since she has been on maternity leave we have been very diasappointed in the care of my children! I will not name the doctor who have misdiagnoses the children but wanted to let everyone know we no longer go to greenvale in brook highland we go to Hoover now! I will say the worst part was calling the doctor a month ago bc my son had a terrible diaper rash to the point of it bleeding almost and when called the office was closed due to a Christmas party at (1 in the afternoon)!!!!!😡 So called the after hours and they wanted to send me to the childrens hospital for a diaper rash! Beyond frustrating! so that was my last straw with them! I dont even give them one star they are that bad and people at the front office are just as rude and bad!

This place refused to help me when my son fractured his arm because they claimed I had an unpaid bill, when I asked them for recommendations to a different place that would help me, they told me that until I paid my bill they wouldnt even tell me where I could go for a simple x ray. I called their billing office to make sure I didnt have an over due bill, and I did not. When I called back to tell them I was coming in, I got their voice-mail saying they were out for lunch for TWO HOURS. This place is a joke. Do not rely on them to care for your child.

The doctors are fantastic.

Impossible to actually speak with someone.
