I love Woodlawn Dental and their entire staff, they are professional, when i lived in Gulfport Miss. i would come home to make my dental appointments all because they have always been very compassionate.I deal with fear when it comes to a dentist and Dr. Williams are always so kind making sure i understand each procedure. I had to get a tooth pulled today and they did a good job I was not in any pain after. They got me in and out. So fast.

I called Woodlawn Dental today because I really needed a filling looked at. I called at the right because there was a cancellation. Collins along with assistant Stephanie took good care of me and fixed my problem. The staff was courteous and professional. I chose them because out of all the previous work that’s been done on my teeth through the years, I never had a problem.

I went in Woodlawn Dental office for a cleaning .... The wait was not very long ...my dental hygienist, Jade was stellar ....My teeth look excellent by the way...while she was doing the procedure ...she explained some ways to keep my smile pretty.. and keep my teeth clean, without making me feel bad for trying to take the easy way out ...by using a water pic instead of flossing. I felt really good afterwards and inspired to do better with my dental health... Thanks Jade for being you!!!!

Customer Service sucks.A little on the expensive side.Dirty and they use regular gloves. When I was asking question I was rudely told I can go somewhere else. Never again

If you need dentures, don’t go there. I waited months for them to send an itemized claim to my insurance company for approval. Takes 10 to 14 days. They never even sent a claim. I waited for over 2 months, and never once did they call, and say they still haven’t heard from my insurance. I actually called my insurance company mad, and it turned out that Woodlawn Dental Personnel lied to me. They never sent a claim. I felt so bad raising a ruckus with my insurance. My insurance company tried to call them, got a full mailbox. How unprofessional. People who gave them a good reference must have not had much done. My advice, go somewhere professional. Somewhere you can get seen without lies. They could use a nicer office.

I have been going here since I was 5 years old and the service continues to be excellent.

We decided to go here because it was the closest one to us compared to our old dentist. It gets 3 stars because the staff is really and the first appointment I had with then was not bad.. My first appointment they had already gotten everything from x-rays etc to know what I need if I came a second time. When I booked this second appointment I told them exactly what the problem was and I did not expect to come in just for them to literally take less than a minute to look at my tooth THEN refer me to another dental clinic AND charge over $30 for it. That, to me, was a total rip off and a waste of my morning.

Woodlawn Dental is the worst place to ever go. Very rude assistant and dentist. No care for people in pain they just want the money. It smells and the parking is awful. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!! I NEVER WILL AGAIN!!!

I went for a visit this morning because I had been having toothaches for about 2 weeks, off and on. I didn’t think that I was going to be able to have extractions on today, because I thought I was going to get medication and return at another time. The wonderful Dentist came in and she told me she could do the extractions on today, so I was surprised and said, Okay, let’s get it done and over with. Dr. Shi Mengyi pulled a tooth out on top, which went fast and she was very good, but the tooth at the bottom was more complicated. She had to break the tooth first and then continued with the procedure of removing the rest. What also made it more difficult was because the tooth was infected, a little. I needed sutures at the bottom. All in all she was very wonderful and I didn’t feel no pain, the shots in the mouth was more tense than the pulling. She was awesome, compassionate and very knowledgeable. Great Job👍🏽

Staff was very welcoming, courteous, and performed their tasks well. The hygienist was thorough but was not rough at all. The doctor was very accurate and quick with the work I needed. Great place to go.

Today was my first time every at Woodlawn Dental. I made an appointment for my mom, I typically accompany her to any and all appointments. The staff at Woodlawn Dental were very accommodating, polite, helpful and just plan-ol good folk. After searching for new dental services for my mom, I believe I hit a home run. The experience here was terrible, the lady at the frontdesk was very rude , overall very bad experience fromstart to finish .

They are taking proper precautions against exposing patients to covid-19. Everyone was very nice and professional and concerned for my comfort. The prices are good. I had a tooth that was chipped and the filling crumbling. They did x-rays, removed the old filling, prepared the tooth for a crown and placed a temporary crown while the permanent one is being made. I felt safe and comfortable.

I went in with wisdom tooth pain. The dentist and assistant were nice, friendly, and straight-forward. I had my wisdom tooth removed without complications and 3 days later I am in minimal pain but the ibuprofen they prescribed does the trick for that.

My husband and I were referred to Woodlawn Dental by a friend. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. While my husband was in his appointment he mentioned to the staff that I needed to be seen (they literally came out to the waiting room and got me in within minutes)!! Going out of their way, even with so many patients, in a timely manner, and so friendly spoke volumes to us! They get you in even if you dont have an appointment. The doctor pulled my tooth and I didnt even know it had been pulled yet. The staff is great and answers all your questions.

Ive had to have pretty much all of my back teeth, top and bottom, removed. Ive been to other dentist and to the UAB dental school. Every time was excruciating. My first extraction stayed infected over a month because the dentist had left in two slivers of tooth. I had to go back to that dentist 3 times for him to cut it back open an suction out infection before he finally found the problem. This place was only 2 min from home so I when back many times. I have cried in agony and had even been put in a headlock by that dentist. I was so reluctant to have another pulled that I endured 3 yrs of pain B4 it was finally too much. Dr. Ben Willams was so amazing that the only reason I cried this time was from gratitude. I cant thank him enough. He is truly wonderful. I will NEVER go anywhere else again. Thank you Ben so much,

Ive never received bad service since Ive been coming. Today, I am disappointed that I arrived at 1:25 pm and the door was locked. I called to check the office hours. It clearly states lunch is from 12-1.I knocked on the door and a young lady opened it saying the office was closed for lunch. I repeated what the msg said (on the phone) pertainig to offic hours. I was able to come inside. A customer commented that it was quiet so everyone must be out for lunch. The young lady replied they were out to lunch until 2.I wish I had known that. I would have set an earlier appt. I still think very highly of Woodlawn Dental and the staff. I find this the only angst.

The worst place ever! There were roaches on the floor. Staff were nice but didnt where any gloves the whole time. The place had an odor. And They prescribed me some pain medicine but I couldnt recieve because detectives have Dr. Ford under investigation. Please do not go here its a waist of time and money.

My top denture never fitted I went there 2 weeks ago to have them adjusted I was told by Dr Williams it wouldnt be a charge if he filed them down in the office if he had to send them out I would have to pay for them out of pocket he filed them down in the office instead they bill my insurance company for the money how unprofessional was that I havent been there in years after the last sneaky thing they did to me I was crying so bad the Dr 👉 (African American) that worked there did everything he could to make me happy only reason I return back cause they did my dentures the dentist I wanted to go to wouldnt adjust them cause he didnt do them I will never enter they door again or recommend anybody to them too Sneaky and Unpleasant to be there
