Ellen is the best! She is passionate, knowledgeable, and always makes sure we have a plan for keeping the integrity of my hair! I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair and I make the drive to Birmingham just to see her!

Cant go wrong with any of the stylists at Nude! They really know what they are doing when it comes to hair. Assistants are trained for a period of time before getting their own chair, which ensures consistency and quality. Ive been going there at least five years, sometimes driving 6 hrs, because they are that good.

Ive been to just about every salon in Birmingham, and Nude is the best by a long shot. You just cant compare the quality of the experience, of the stylists and of the space. The place is immaculate. The stylists are perfectionists. And the front desk staff are professional, courteous and friendly. Not something you can say for every salon. I consider Nude one of the best kept secrets in Birmingham, though its not really much of a secret any more.

The worst experience I’ve ever had. I sat 5 hours and spent over $400 plus and the results were not even close to what I wanted. I never even was told about how much it would cost and my hair is not even long. I reached out twice and the manager lied to me and told me to come back she’ll fix it and than I come back and they say their going to charge me again and the stylist was having such a hard time even trying to fix it. Save your money and time and go somewhere that’s professional and courteous.

Nude the salon is amazing. The entire staff is well trained and at the top of their game. This is by far the nicest salon in the area. I cannot recommend it enough!

If I could give 0 stars I would !!I saw their page on Instagram and went with high expectations. Payed $300 over nothing. I asked to have highlights , or at least to get my hair lighter than it is. My hair turned out ashy which was a really ugly color. On my second visit she said that she was gonna fix it and so she toned my hair and it turned darker when I warned them that I didn’t want my hair to be darker. She called someone to talk to me at that time. Ashley was really rude , instead of resolving the situation she tried to argue with me. I’m not going there ever again ...

William SAVED my hair. It was a sad, almost brassy blonde that I got at another salon in Birmingham. He used a different technique to do the highlights near my crown that was more appropriate for my hair texture and it made a world of difference. I have been coloring my hair blonde for 20+ years and never been this happy with the results. 12/10. Highly recommend.

I recently had an appointment with one of this salons artists, Joshua Genung. The service was exceptional and despite my apprehension towards paying so much for a mens haircut, I discovered that the difference was made up for and then some. Apparently women knew something about high end salons that I did not. I dont follow fashion much anymore so I decided to let this guy decide what to do. I thought he made me look too feminine at first, but everyone I know & meet loves my new haircut. Thank you Nude.

Melanie is great! Shes professional, intelligent, passionate, patient, creative, and friendly. I am soooo scared of people messing up my hair. I had tried two other salons around the Detroit metro area before finding Nude and Melanie, and left the previous two salons silently in tears. Ive always had long hair, and was scared that, like every other place, theyd cut off or want to cut off more than I wanted. She didnt do that, and didnt make me feel bad about it either. My hair still looked great with long layers and side swept bangs. Ive also gone from my natural dark brown to blonde, back to brown again- all looked natural and great! The assistants there are also all very friendly. I have always left the salon feeling beautiful.

Fabulous salon! Stylists have great skills and everyone is very helpful.
