Having to drive 5 hours one way for my appointment, I checked in ahead of time online, and I didn’t have to wait long at all. The staff was courteous and professional. I had my child with me, and everyone was so accommodating. I am very impressed with Dr. Klepps and the staff. I had to call because I misplaced some paperwork after my appointment, and they were so kind and helpful in getting what I needed sent over right away.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The PA and nurses were very helpful informative. When I called back with questions after my visit, the nurse was helpful and didnt act as though I was a bother even though she was helping other patients as well.

Very pleased with Ortho Montanas staff, nurses and Dr. Felipe Ituarte. I would drive four hours for an appointment and their staff got me in on time or earlier if they could so I could make it home at a decent time. My doctor was very thorough and helped me in anyway he could so I would no longer have lower back pain.

Due to a mistake I made entering the time of my appointment in my mobile calendar, I was two hours late. The receptionist checked to see if Dr. Phipps could still see me. Dr. Phipps was kind enough to work me in with only a very short wait. He did not rush through the exam, and answered all my questions and concerns. I am very pleased at the level of professionalism and care I received from Dr. Phipps and the staff at Ortho Montana.

I went to Ortho Montana on a Friday afternoon when an elbow pain worsened suddenly before a weekend music gig. The front office staff was kind and generous, checking whether I could see one of their providers outside of my passport (one visit approved). The check-in process is all digital (and apparently you can do it online ahead of time too!) The medical assistant who performed my intake was so funny that I almost forgot about my pain. The x-ray tech and doctor of osteopathy were both friendly and knowledgeable. I was referred for therapy for tendonitis and eventual surgery for a bone spur. The whole experience at the Ortho MT Walk-In made me more hopeful for the eventual outcome.

Did a great job on my moms right knee. I am ready to see the lift knee to be done so that she do things again that she enjoys doing.

Heather was highly recommended and praised by many friends who have littles who have been injured. We had an excellent appointment all around, even with the stress of an injury.

Dr. Hansen and the rest of the staff at OrthoMT have all been professional, relatable, kind, Compassionate, and caring. We have taken daughter there for several surgeries, follow-ups, and splints. For a child with a rare disease to feel comfortable asking questions, getting answers, feeling understood, and most importantly not being scared... is a greatfeeling. Not once has anyone made her or us feel second rate or like just another patient.In addition, my step-mom had a hip replacement by Dr. Groover. He was very helpful in making a lady with extreme anxiety feel comfortable and reassured. It was a complete different experience from her prior one performed 9 years ago in OK. She was amazed by the outcome and is moving around better than she has in many years.This is the only place we will go to for ortho treatment. It is worth the 2 1/2 hour drive each way!

Dr. Hansen was so helpful with my little boy’s broken arm. She answered all my questions, big or small, gave us the time of day while still getting us out in a timely manner.

My son broke his arm falling out of a treehouse. As if that wasnt enough we received horrible care from Billings Clinic Ortho. From the moment I looked up Heather Hansen and called her office her and her staff took over and set everything up to fix the surgery around a long planned family affair. My mothers wedding.From the moment she introduced herself we had nothing but faith in her skills and ability to treat our child. The surgery went great minus a small freak out on my park when my son woke up badly from anesthisea which she and her staff handled expertly. Since then we have still been treated with utmost respect and attention. My son is soon to have his cast off and all after a Looooooong ordeal. She is the best. To all the Moms and Dads out there with a broken child I highly recommend Heather Hansen and her team. They are the best to trust with fixing your pride and joys.

I was diagnosed with avascular necrosis of my femur due to a fall. With being as young as I am, my local surgeon didnt feel comfortable enough to take on my case, so he referred me to Ortho Montana. I met with Dr. Groover who was straightforward, personable, knowledgeable, and really made me feel at ease about having to have a total knee replacement at 34. My surgery went wonderfully and although I havent had the typical recovery like most do, he and his staff have been with me every step of the way. They are always there to answer any questions I have and have been so encouraging. I feel so blessed and grateful to have Dr. Groover and his staff with me on this journey. Everyone that I have encountered at Ortho Montana has been incredibly helpful and kind. To Dr. Groover and staff, thank you!

Dr Elliot is an outstanding physician and surgeon and so is all of his staff. Great experience for the circumstances I was in. Nursing staff is 2nd to none. I recommend this place to anyone. And if I need them again I will surely be back!!

Great experience. I was quite nervous about having surgery. It turned out so much better than I though. Great nurses, Dr. Beck was great, and its a very nice, and CLEAN facility.

Dr Hansen is so amazing and I was so impressed by her! She got us in right away and had lots of options to fix my sons broken arm, some not as invasive, which were not options for other surgeons we talked to. She ended up manipulating it back and casting without an incision! I can’t say enough good things about her and I’m extremely thankful!

My 6 year old broke her wrist a few months ago and returned a few week’s ago with a sprained ankle from the trampoline park. The x-ray techs asked her to bring a shark or Dino to x-ray! We forgot so we x-rayed “blind bags” of fruit snacks...avengers and her little sister’s paw patrol fruit snacks. Dr Hansen thoroughly evaluated the x-rays and helped my daughter identify hulk, captain America, iron man, marshal and rubble! Haha! Then they got to the real x-ray of her ankle and looked at all the bones together. She really makes my daughter the central part of the appointment and values her questions, concerns and opinions...even on superhero fruit snacks. Best pediatric dr ever! We love dr Hansen.

I had good service here from everyone except for the orthopedic that I saw. Dr. Scheer was very rude and talked down to me. I wouldnt have him examine a goldfish, they deserve someone more compationate and caring. Stay away from this supposed surgeon.

To Dr. Michael Groover and his staff, PA’s, RN’s, Lab, office staff and the recovery unit staff and great nurses there, I say thank you.From the first visit to the final walk out to the car, all of the staff were very skillful and attentive and helpful in just the right combinations for me. Making my knee replacement as smooth (and quite honestly as painless) as I ever could have expected. As of this writing I am a few days over two months out and I am doing most of my activities as well as before, minus the knee pain, I even skied a week ago. Birdhunting on the plains has been one of my great passions for forty years but it was becoming so painful I could hardly go without days of pain meds, ice and recovery for a days walk. I had tried everything for the pain; years of PT and specialty braces, yoga, stretching, and everything in between. I had a problem with my cartilage, it was torn apart. Being under fifty,relatively fit, and not having traumatic knee injuries, my pain did not fit the profile of the usual pt. and I struggled to even see the doctors in other offices. To be clear, I was not shopping for a doctor to say yes to what I wanted. I just wanted to tell my story and be analyzed in a more detailed way than being fit into an algorithm of modern Orthopedic medicine. Dr. Groover listened to me and my history and with many appropriate caveats and discussion suggested a uni-compartment replacement of my right knee. The medial side of my knee was taking the brunt of the wear while my lateral side was still functional. The surgery itself was a success and after the first weekend, I took few pain meds, and after the first week I was walking without aid. I continue to build back my quad strength but I am walking as far as I want, working all day on my feet, and even golfing. I highly recommend Dr Groover and Montana Ortho for those with chronic and debilitating knee pain.

Dr. Shelton was great, too bad he retired.Now with Dr. Elliot it has been nothing but problems. Waiting over an hour past our scheduled appointment times. No communication from doctor or nurses during surgery. He operated on a minor and kept her parent and guardian in the dark the whole time. No updates, no nurse showed with the foreign object taken out, nothing. I do not recommend Dr. Elliott at Ortho Montana to anyone. Unless you want to wait hours, have no updates or communication.Highly disappointed in Ortho Montana.

This place is great, had a hip replacement, Dr. Groover is extremely knowledgeabe and will keep you in constant update. His staff is super nice, especially Nurse Connie. She is the greatest of all nurses. My hip is doing good, he told me in the beginning that he could make me a new man. Im a new man now, can walk, no pain, no crutches, everything is perfect. His assistants filled out all of my short term disability to get it started as soon as we had a start date and a end date. This is the place to go, the doctor to see, and the nurse you want :)

I have been seeing Doctor Yorgason now for almost 2 years now for a foot issue. Everyone here is so nice and professional. I am always greeted by the front desk ladies and have a smooth check in. I have not had to wait very long before getting called back for my appointment. I am always treat kindly and all my questions are answered. I am appreciate them taking their time with me and would recommend Ortho Montana to anyone needing their service.

We have had 5 knee surgeries in my family over the last 30 years with Ortho MT. I myself have had severe hip pain for 9 years - I am 54 years old - I met Dr. Groover at Ortho MT Miles City facility in June - he did a hip replacement on me in September and it has changed my life! I am pain free for the first time in 9 years and I have my life back! I can chase around my grandkids and get back to the business of normal day to day life without pain. It is a game changer for me and for my family. Dr. Groover and his staff are wonderful, caring people and I give them and Ortho MT my highest recommendation. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Of all the bad things happening in 2020, this is something good I will never forget!

I had continued pain following a total knee replacement done in Wyoming. I went to Ortho Montana to see if they could help the problem or if it was all in my head. Dr Michael Groover took additional x-rays that showed a problem and he explained it to me thoroughly and assured me it wasnt in my head. Im two months post surgery and have very little pain. I appreciate Dr Groover so much and thank his team for the wonderful job they did.

I came here originally after I had a negligent discharge of a firearm that destroyed a joint in my finger and the doctor that attended to me was alright with my treatment. His name is Dr. Drake and he did an ok job at performing my surgery and gave me the right amount of pain medication to ease my gunshot wound and I actually ended up with a severe opiate/opioid addiction with the amount of morphine, fentanyl, oxycodone, and hydrocodone this incompetent, condescending Dr. prescribed to me for months without a taper program in place after this doctor pumped me full of pain medication. This isn’t my only problem with this establishment and Doctor.I was referred at a later date by my own primary physician and I am in Medicaid and during my follow-ups I asked Dr. Drake for something to help me with the pain just a little. Nothing too strong or a strong opioid such as oxycodone but, he, Dr. drake, without pause, hesitation, or so much as a second thought prescribed me an actual months worth of a strong opioid. It was not my intention to be prescribed these medications as I am not a pill-chaser or junkie, however. This “excellent” Doctor had no problem giving me copious amounts of powerful painkillers I had no intention of being on. I would not ever, ever recommend this doctor or this medical center to anyone short of wanting to become addicted to opioids/opiates. This is my primary concern.My second is that recently, after a year or so without a follow up with him. Our appointment was extremely short and inconclusive. He was very condescending to me and talking down to me simply because I was referred by the IHS in Lame Deer, MT by my primary physician. He took an X-ray and made me wait while I overheard him and his nurse saying very bad things about me in the hallway. Saying things such as “I don’t think he needs another appointment because he’s just a worthless referral who’s not paying us” and it really hurt to hear that because I thought he took an oath never to hurt or bring harm upon a patient; physically or emotionally. I am not going to come back to this doctor.He gave me “two options; straight up” either to fuse the bone in my finger or amputate it which I neither want done to my body. I do not trust this doctor. I was extremely nervous during the pre-op and surgery.He gave me a terrible operation and my finger could have been restored to its previous form.He also bestowed upon me a very debilitating and extremely painful addiction to opioids which I had to go out of my way to quit and get in a opioid addiction management to get out of that terrible cycle.Please stay far away from this devil disguised as a doctor. This is coming from experience over the course of a year and a half.It’s not worth the hassle or possible addiction as this Dr. Drake hands out opioid medication like it’s Tylenol or cough medicine. In my personal opinion, I feel as if this doctor got his medical license/doctorate out of a f***ing box of cereal. That’s all I have to say about this guy. They are very discriminatory against people who are referred with Medicaid. They do not feel like they should treat people who are simply not able to pay for their treatment without government assistance. Ortho-Montana is absolute garbage and should be shut down.

After experiencing a complicated broken collarbone, Dr Bentley has gone above and beyond to make sure I got the best treatment optons possible. He has been on the spot in keeping me updated with the best options each step of the way. Very happy to have him as my doctor

Dr. Groover did an exceptional job performing my total hip replacement surgery. The recovery process was much quicker that expected and my incision is healing wonderfully. I would recommend Dr. Groover without question.

Will tell you that you are covered with whatever insurance you are using, then happily send you a bill. 5 Minutes turns into 500 dollars and all they tell you is oh do some stretching, it will go away and all they will tell you when you ask why your insurance didnt pay for it, is oh, well you werent actually covered... in the most snotty tone possible. Dont waste your time.

During his Cleveland Clinic fellowship, Ortho Montana signed our son, Dr. Michael Groover for doing total joint replacement surgery. Michael loves the excellence among the doctors and staff and Ortho Montanas well-earned reputation.

We have been to Ortho Montana many times over the past few years. A couple times for the kids and a couple times for my wife and I. They have always treated us with respect, listened to our concerns and helped us with our Injuries. We have even used the Urgent care in the evening for one of my sons injuries.Being an active family Im sure we will be back again soon! We are thankful that Billings has such a great Orthopedic practice.

I have been dealing with nerve pain in my leg for two and a half years now since Ive been run over I was scheduled for surgery I went in for my pre-op with Doctor Bentley and he was very rude and unprofessional and I still have Ive been to my doctor for the neuropathy I went there for the ortho needs and they dismissed it and was in a hurry to get out of there was very rude to me and treated me like a second-class citizen I would not recommend this doctor or this Ortho Montana to anybody

Doctor did not evaluate or treat pain. The doctor smiled as he watched my friend sitting in the waiting room with tears in his eyes to give him nothing but a boot out the door. I areas ed the issue with the front desk. She went to ask the doctor about the medication. She came back and told him to take 800 MG of ibeprofen. I was amazed by the lack of concern towards patients pain. I would not recommend this place to anyone I cared about.

My husband went in for pain in his hand and he saw 2 different doctors. The first doctor wanted to do xrays and when the second doctor came in he felt his hand and said well lets see how it feels in a month. By the end of it he got no help and was treated like a drug addict looking for pills. I was very disappointed with both doctors and the way he was treated. We will no longer be going there.

I spent more time filling out paper work and gathering records than i spent with a doctor. the X-rays they took took longer than it did for the doctor to just write me off. Never felt so dismissed and devalued by a medical professional in my life.

The sorriest ortho healthcare in the state, very bias on who they will see in their office. Im sorry I send our patients there, no more referrals form our office.

I accompanied my husband to an appointment and did not have a good experience. The nurse was loud and obnoxious and talked down to us like we were children. The doctor was aloof and smug. He did not have time to answer any questions, was in such a hurry to get out the door, and we left feeling extremely frustrated. I would not recommend this place to anyone I care about.

Was charged over $400 for just an office visit and was no help at all.

Stayed 7 hours during the morning after an E.R. visit. Charged us for 1 1/2 days

Tried making an appointment and they said they would have to ask the doctor if he wanted to take the appointment. Seriously! Thats there job to take appointments. Have been waiting over 3 hours for a call back for my son.
