Valley Credit Union is a beautiful bank run by very receptive and helpful people. It is easily accessible and the process from any of the awesome staff at the counter to private meetings with clerks in their offices is just as amazing. I literally was in and out without there being any complications as all my questions and needs for checking/savings taken care of. Out of 3 banks I have been at, Valley is the best one in all my life and I doubt I will ever consider leaving. Thanks Valley Credit Union, keep up the awesome work.

Awe-mazing loan product! Thank you Stacey Shanahan and Valley CU for helping us out, we’ve been to several car dealerships and banks with no approval. I was ready to call every financial institution in town but only needed one, Valley Credit Union. We had a very bad experience here resulting in the closure of accounts and loyalty taken elsewhere. A check had gotten returned due to a systematic error where the account and routing number got switched so it came back as “account not found”. This was understandable, since technology is not perfect. Another check was then issued by the maker, and this time it couldn’t be processed because it came back as a duplicate check.After numerous hours were spent by the account holder trying to figure out where the check had gone, I came in with them to help figure it out. After asking to see the banker who had been assisting with the issue over the last week, (Aaron) we were told it would be a while since he’s with another customer. Also understandable, since we didn’t have an appointment. We waited and after he became available he went in to explain the situation to a different female banker so she could talk to us instead. It seemed he did not want to deal with it anymore.When we sat down, she did not give either of us the time of day to explain the details and just started adding up numbers and saying the account balance is correct. After some time we figured out the check is being returned to the maker once again but has not reached their account yet. So neither the bank, the maker, nor the account holder have the money at the moment. The only reason we were able to come to this conclusion is because I came in with the other person and have enough banking experience to logically figure out what was going on.This situation was handled VERY POORLY by both bankers who helped, and neither was willing to have enough patience to explain what was actually happening to the money and where it went. Neither took real ownership of the situation. This was very disheartening to see, as I am very devoted to customer service myself. They made the account holder feel as though he was too stupid to understand what was going on or that he was delusional. All they had to do was tell him the money was once again on its way back to the maker.All accounts were closed, and the check in question will be reissued by the maker for a third time and deposited elsewhere after the money reaches their account again. It’s worth mentioning, the teller was very sweet and friendly throughout the entire closing interaction. In my opinion, she was the only one with real customer service skills.

Valley gave me a shot several years ago when no other lender was willing to!!! I have had 6 loans with them since and without exception their rates have been competitive, their service impeccable and their caring beyond compare.Casey Klien(sp) was my first contact/loan officer in 2011. He is now CEO. Valley could not be in better hands!!!

The staff here have always treated me well. I first came to them needing to build credit history as I had none. Not once did they give me a hard time. Theyve helped me to get my credit up. Then never having had purchased a car before, I came to Aaron. He basically helped me choose a great car via many emails. Since then I have called or stopped in just to ask questions and they always make time for me. I appreciate the way they treat me as a person and not an account. I feel secure knowing they are there for me.

I was a member in the past and am now again. From my perspective the service has improved greatly. The teller area is better staffed and tge lines move faster than in years past. I was dealing with Stacy Shanahan in the loan department and she is amazing.

I have been a member of VFCU for over 30 years. What is wonderful is to watch how they continue to get better and better each year. Theyve added wonderful technology so that I literally dont have to walk into a branch to conduct business. But when I do interact with the people they are friendly, professional and prompt.

I have been with valley for 10+ years the service is ok but the checking account balance online and hours of operationare so spotty. Its simple stuff like this that makes it convenient or inconvenient to me.

They are crap. Offer life insurance policies that most of there customers dont know about it. Then if and when there is a claim they wont close the accounts or fulfill the policy. Would never use them again

Trying to close on a house. Wanted my last two months bank statements for the home loan. Valley Wanted to charge me $5 a statement (I realize not alot, but still, I bank with them and dont feel I should have to pay for a print). Lady took snobish tone with me.

Valley offered to open a credit card. I came in and they suddenly found an overdraft of $200 for 12 years ago. They would not allow me to have credit through them because of it. Never banking with you again.
