Dr. Prokupek is a rare doctor and I’m lucky that I found him. His attention to detail saved me from an illness and I will be forever grateful to have found him after some bad experiences in LA. His staff is always so kind and I always feel taken care of. I’ve been a patient for years and have seen his practice grow for good reason.Dr. Prokupek is an intelligent doctor and I always feel in safe hands. I’m also able to go to Dr Prokupek’s office for aesthetic treatments as well because he has an beauty division called Aesthetic Body Solutions and his prices are better than other places in beverly hills for the same laser treatments and injections, I like being able to go to one spot, plus the staff is just so nice!!!If you’re looking for a new doctor definitely book an appointment trust me!!

I wish this review could be a better one…I am sure Dr Prokupec is a professional, can’t say the same for his office staff.Over a year ago I had to undergo a colonoscopy and here is where staff got weird.First, I tried to schedule the procedure and his office staff over the phone was extremely rude and first told me that no appointment was available for three months. I called again 30 minutes later, got a different person and voila, got an appointment in two weeks (I asked if someone cancelled – but was told, no, and that there were several open slots).Second, on arrival to the doctor he nurse swabbed my inner cheek- this is done ONLY for collecting GENETIC matter. I DID NOT GIVE ANY CONSENT TO THAT. Till this day I never received any explanation why does DR. Prokupec collect such material. Why???Third, I asked many times and was told that the short life anesthesia IS covered by my insurance – only to find out, yes, later on it was NOT. Thanks doctor! It is ONLY $1500.Then his office got my address wrong so not only did I get billed for services they told me my insurance would cover but now I have to pay late fees.THANKS DOCOTR.Do your due diligence and maybe choose a different provider.

Ive never left a one star review for any practice, but I feel the need to warn others. My appointments were so severely mishandled its actually shocking, and its all due to a lack of communication during appointments and afterwards. First of all, your NP was listed as a doctor on ZocDoc for months -- the issue seems to be corrected now on certain forms in ZocDoc, but thats so misleading. Second of all, my appointment was mis-documented, causing my insurance to deny the further testing requested by your office. The issue to this day has not been fixed despite multiple phone calls and 2 follow-up visits. Thirdly, the lab testing was also mishandled. After receiving the lab results via this offices patient portal, nobody called to go over the results with me. As if patients can read the terminology in lab work correctly -- every other practice will normally call you to go over your lab results. I had to call the office to get someone to clarify my results. There were a few red flags that came up in testing that required me to receive another lab test to explore more in-depth the causes of my results. Of course, even though you can have your labs done without an appointment, the NP hadnt put in the request for further testing and she wasnt working the day I showed up. Instead of getting to speak with Dr. Prokupek who WAS present in the office during the time of the mishap, an assistant let me know he looked at the paperwork and ordered a retest. How about actually speaking to the patient first before ordering lab work? Basic communication for someone running a business. Especially since a retest was not what I had come in for, but further testing. Zero communication from this office, as I had to follow up literally every step of the way and still dont have answers. Please save your time and go elsewhere. If I, a patient with minimal health concerns, had issues, I cannot imagine being a patient that requires attentive healthcare coming here.

Dr. Prokupek has been been treating my family and I for close to 20. He is one of the best doctors out there. Totally recommend him!!!

I was referred to Dr. Dale Prokupek at least 20 years ago. My current physician at that time called him in when I was receiving my 3 pint of blood for a bleeding ulcer. About a year later Dr Prokupek was my primary health care practitioner.I don’t know what took me so long to finally post my recommendation on a patient there. My love and appreciation for the care I receive from him and his entire staff is immeasurable. They’ve always been there to take care of my health needs. They ran tests, made referrals, did whatever was necessary to see that I was taken care of. Whenever I’ve had to give blood, get a shot, I’ve not felt real pain. Only a slight discomfort for a second. Thats a huge benefit.I’ve never encountered rudeness or anything disrespectful from any of the staff. Dale Prokupek has been taking care of me for many years. He has always taken the time to address any concerns and answer all my many many questions with kindness and respect. He is an extremely knowledgeable and personable doctor who explains things in a manner I can understand. Ive never felt uncomfortable discussing any issue with him like I have with other doctors. His staff is great as well...very friendly and responsive.

Dr. Prokupek is great! I went originally for stomach issues, but now use as my regular doctor. The group always works to get you in when you need to see him. He responds quickly to questions and refill requests. Best of all, I always get to see him, not an assistant, but the actual doctor. For anyone looking for a GI doctor or other, I highly recommend. He is the best.

Dr. Prokupek and the more mature woman who takes my blood pressure, and the staff manager are some of the nicest people Ive met out of the many Drs Ive had. I get treated rudely by the staff, based on how I look, or dress and treat me as If Im lower class. I called to make an appointment, the lady put me on hold until lunch and hung up on me, I call to complain, no one to complain to. The nurse, no answer. I then talk to someone else in a higher position to complain about it. Their response: “She is new, thats all they had to say, so professional he is. Very disappointing staff, waste time goofing off too much. The two I mentioned though are very good at their job and act professionally. They should indeed be commended for it.

I actually look forward to my appts. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, personable, attentive & even attractive. And they make you feel relaxed and cared for with their medical expertise.The well designed offices create a warm and welcoming environment. Its really a pleasure to be a patient there.

Dr. Prokupek was on time, professional and was very clear about the procedure. His staff, Cody and Will were also extremely helpful and very responsive to my questions. The procedure was quick with zero drama. I cannot tell you how many times I have sat in waiting rooms for 20/40 minutes to see doctors. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff!

I was feeling a little under the weather the other day, so I decided to visit my doctor before things got worse. I called her in the morning, and I made an appointment for 9:30 a.m. When I arrived at her office, I had to fill out some insurance paperwork and a sheet describing my current medical condition, along with the symptoms I was feeling. After a few minutes, the nurse called my name and took me back to one of their examination rooms. She took my vital signs including my temperature and blood pressure, and then I waited until the doctor came in. After looking me over and asking a few questions, the doctors diagnosis was that I had a bacterial infection. She wrote me out a prescription for some medication, which I was supposed to take two times a day. After the exam, I went back to the reception area and paid the bill.

I am very amazed by watching man with this kind of great heart .I think he will do his best at his best for mankind in his future.He do his services greatly.He has serve many people with his work.He is excellent at his work.May his good work be bless by many people and god.

Dr. Prokupek is fantastic and I try to see him for literally everything (physicals, skin care, HRT, etc.). Hes up to date with medical research and is open to trying new things that dont necessarily involve prescription medications.I have recommended several friends to his practice.Get in while you can, you could see 1000 doctors and not run into one that is as current (and cares) as much as Prokupek.The staff is also great and you can count on them to call in prescriptions on the same day you request.

My experience:Excellent. After moving to Los Angeles, I started going back to college. I had trouble focusing and concentrating on my work and got in touch with Millinium medical. I had struggled with school in the past but now, about 6 months after beginning treatment, I feel like a new person.If you are like me and have trouble with school, work and/or life in general, make an appointment and find out how they can help.Practical informatiom:Easy to get to on Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills.Nice, modern office.Very friendly and knowledgeable. Telemedicine appointments are very convienient.

My experience with Dr. Proupek and his office was very positive. I was able to get an appointment quickly and his staff was very friendly and efficient. All my information was scanned into electronic records, including my preferred pharmacy. The prescription was delivered directly to them electronically too. No papers to lose. The scheduling of my colonoscopy was also very fast and easy - no need to duplicate all the basic history and insurance information. The surgery center staff was terrific as was the anesthesiologist. Overall, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Dr. Prokupek for all your exciting gastroenterology needs.

Unfortunately Dr. Prokupeks staff is the most incompetent medical staff I have ever dealt with. After calling me a week or so ahead to confirm my insurance, when I arrived to my appointment they then told me the opposite and that they dont accept my insurance. Then after I already wasted my time and left to go back home they call back and say it was basically an error on their part and that I could reschedule? Luckily I had bit the bullet and visited the ER a few days prior because the severity of my condition was increasing so I was treated and given medication. However Dr. Prokupeks office was HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL, I will never schedule with this office again.

On June 25, 2012 Dr. Dale Prokupek at Cedars Sinai Out Patient clinic made a mistake and perforated my Esophagus during a routine outpatient Endoscopy. Further even though I complained of tightness and heaviness in my chest post-procedure. his answer was to give me two shots of Dilaudid over a 45 minute period. I was sent home. My partner shortly after we got home found me passed out on the floor not speaking and barely breathing. After rushing me back to to Cedars Sinai Hospital it was confirmed that my Esophagus was perforated, and they only had a few hours to save my life. Wonderful MDs at Cedars stepped in. My fever had started to rise and I required a Thoracotomy. I had never had a surgery in my life and am a former competitive swimmer. My whole life has changed due to the careless actions of this one man. He showed no remorse and worried about a lawsuit disappeared. Miraculously his office partner became my Infectious Disease Specialist for two of my several hospital stays. Even though he wasnt the standard Infectious Disease Specialist for the hospital. I now have issues resultant to the Thoracotomy but am alive. I am a former shell of myself and will never forget how callous and uncaring this man was post the accident. In fact delivering very bad news by phone as a our last contact. One week to the day IO needed a new procedure as my Esophagus was still leaking. However, Caveat Emptor. If this could happen to me it could happen to you.

He takes over some other doctors position and decides not to take Anthem insurance and doesnt not call and let you know that he doesnt take your insurance. I had to cancel a different appointment to make it to his office and they tell me they do not take my insurance. I think its a bad Bussines that you do not call your patients and update them before they come there. And by the way his office smelled like a toilet . Disgusting.

He is the most sucessive doctor ive ever seen.
