I feel so fortunate to find Dr Silani and his dry eye team. I visited 2 other eye doctors in the last 6 months and they told me to JUST use eye drops and warm compresses. This didnt help so I kept researching online and saw one of Dr Silanis YouTube videos. At my visit, I never felt rushed and Dr Silani spent a lot of time reviewing the results of my tests and images. I originally came in for consult and BlephEx but he felt Id benefit from IPL and iLux since I had lots of inflammation and my eyelids felt clogged. Even after one visit, I feel less symptoms but I look forward to my next visit in 4 weeks. Thank you thank you thank you!

I love this place so much! Its clear they really genuinely care about you and take the time to make sure the long term health of your eyes is being taken care of. They dont rush you out like so many places, but they take time to make sure you understand everything and answer any questions you have. They also take Covid very seriously, keep everything super clean, and keep you separate from other customers. Theyre the best of the best!

I came to see Dr. Younany with a very severe case of dry eye. My eyes were swollen, angry red, manically itchy, teared so much that the skin at the inner corner of my eye would break down from being wiped repeated during the day. I used heavy nighttime HYLO ointment all day and all night. Nothing worked. It was overwhelming. I had been fighting this for years. She was the fourth doctor I had seen, and in this case, the fourth time was the charm. She is not only a lovely person, but she is a very skilled, and knowledgeable physician. She has a gentle caring way and is always concerned about your level of comfort during procedures. The dry eye treatments offered here go far beyond your normal eye doctor options. These are seriously helpful remedies. They really go after the root of dry eyes, such as inflammation, tearing, redness, itching, and will duct malfunction etc. without antibiotic or harsh drops. They get your oil glands to work again. It really is amazing the difference I have experienced in just three visits. I know this sounds crazy, but the level of relief I am experiencing is so great, I literally cant wait for my next appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Younany!

I truly appreciate Dr. Silani and I can’t thank him enough for truly saving my eyes from eternal redness and a sea of useless drops.My eyes were constantly painful, red, irritated, gooey, crusty, itchy, gritty and tired.I’d been going in circles with my previous eye doc who kept prescribing different (expensive) eye drops to help soothe what he diagnosed as “just eye allergies”.I’ve had seasonal allergies, but never so bad to affect my eyesight before.I stopped wearing any eye makeup, foundation and moisturizers near my eyes because every product (including hypoallergenic & sensitive skin specific brands) made them start watering, turn red and burn for days after.I always felt like I had something stuck in my eye and my eyelashes became brittle and started falling out. I’d been in constant pain and equally frustrated thinking this was all part of living with some unknown eye allergy. Dr. Silani told me that I have ocular rosacea and have only been aware of the painful side effects of that condition- recurring blepharitis, pain & red swollen eyes.Dr. Silani took the time to listen to my concerns and was very thoughtful and detailed in his responses. He only ran tests appropriate to my condition and explained the purpose and outcome of each exam he administered. He also walked me through treatment options, explaining what to expect as far as time and cost for each.I trust and appreciate his thorough and progressive approach to dry eye care.I can LITERALLY see an improvement after my very first visit!

What an amazing experience. I had lasik about 20 years ago and I’ve suffered from dry eyes for over 7 years. I recently moved from New York City to Los Angeles and I’ve seen numerous other eye doctors who always told me the same thing to use eye drops and wrote prescriptions for me. It was so refreshing to meet Dr Silani & his team at Beverly Hills Optometry. They’re office is so advanced and their website is well organized, explaining the different treatments they offer in-office. When I called to booked, I asked for same day dry eye consult and treatment and they were able to accommodate. This was REALLY helpful because I live about 20 miles away (Manhattan beach). DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! Looking forward to my next appointment and treatment.

Best experience with Dr Silani & his dry eye team. I’ve had symptoms of dryness for almost 10 years and finally feel hope. So pleased that I had my dry eye consult and treatment same day. After only 6 weeks, I’m feeling better (less eye grittiness, burning and irritation) and my test results have improved dramatically. One of the tests measured the salt part of my tears and it dropped by 30 points! Love all their advanced equipment. Highly recommend Dr Silani’s protocol. So glad I had all three: the eyelid cleaning, IPL and Lipiflow. I can finally work on my computer all day again, thanks again for everything!!

I’ve been going to BH Optometry for almost 3 years now. Starting with the staff, they are super friendly, cordial and polite. The eye care I’ve received has been fantastic. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was a kid and have gone to multiple optometrists over the years, and the care I have received at BH Optometry has been probably the best. Such a wonderful experience. I came in with pretty bad symptoms of dry eyes..itchy, burning eyes that were constant and worse on the computer. This was particularly troublesome because I’m a software engineer and spend most of my personal and professional time with screens. Drs Younany & Silani really helped with their custom dry eye protocol and just in time before I moved to the east coast. With multiple sessions of IPL (4 total) and one lipiflow treatment, my symptoms are essential gone. Thank you thank you thank you! I made an appointment to have a complete exam, dry eye consults, and TearCare thermal expression procedure, ZEST deep cleaning of the eyelids to unblock oil glands. I have a history of lasik and heavy computer use. This place truly holds it’s amazing reputation. Dr. Silani is knowledgeable doctor, very patient and kind. Best to never come near them!!Let me tell you what happened to me on my visit in OctoberI’ve called asking for the price of a consultation regarding contact lenses prescription. Ive been told is 150$ and it might go a little up if I have some asymmetry or Im not sure the term the receptionist used.Ive arrived there,Ive been allocated to Dr. Claudia YOUNANI. Ive told her I have 2 surgeries on my right eye and Im still having silicone oil in the eye and that Im under skin treatment of Accutane . We started to talk about my retina detachment ,about my Accutane treatment so she recommended me to do the dry eye exam. She explained me that my glands are clogged because of my Accutane treatment and this is kind of usual to all people under this treatment. She even said I might take in consideration to stop my skin treatment,that I found very unprofessional because shes not my dermatologist doctor and cannot suggest me such a thing! After this test we went to another room where we started the contact lenses exam. I mention: only for one eye because with my other eye I cannot see. The exam itself was a nightmare because I had to keep my mask on so every time I tried to read the letters though that machine,the glass hollow were foggy because of my breathing though my mask. The consultation was for ONE EYE! She tried few options and then she stopped to a recommendation. After that she still insisted she needs to run another exam on my sick eye,the one with retina detachment because its good for her to have my file. Ive told her Im under Kaiser Permanente insurance and Im having my own doctor specialist in this issue and Im under strict surveillance. She still insisted so Ive did that test too. She didnt inform me about the prices,about what comes additional to the 150$ so I just assumed all this process is the consultation itself! She just pass me a piece of paper right when I was on the chair without explaining me anything and she just told me to write my initials there. I mention...I CANNOT SEE PROPERLY! After finishing all this ,I went to the reception to pay. After I heard is 540$ , I was really shocked. They didnt offer me a list of my results,a list of whatever consultations Ive received. Nothing!!!! Even the receptionist tried to push me to book some treatment for my dry eyes and clogged eyelids. After Ive told her I need to talk first with my Kaiser Permanente doctor before doing anything involving me eyes,then she tried to push me to buy some products and do a treatment at home. A totally rip-off. Ive been given contact lenses to try for 5 days and see how it feels or she needs maybe to change it if I cannot see properly...Ive left from there with the contact lens on my eye and kept it until evening. Second day Ive put another one from the 5 lenses she gave me and later that day I felt my eye is ITCHY, FEELING UNCOMFORTABLE,HAVING A DISCHARGE,TOTALLY RED...and i repeat! Its MY ONLY GOOD EYE because with the other eye I see nothing!Ive decided to take a better look to the lenses so Ive took a picture and zoomed to check the expiration date. Ive beed terrified to understand the lens she put in my only good eye ARE EXPIRED!!! Ive been wearing 2 days EXPIRED LENSES on my only good eye!!!! Thats totally insane. Ive called them many many times,very difficult to get in touch with the manager or whoever is responsible for that place. Ive tried to resolve this problem in a friendly way but talking to Ashely BOZE ,the manager, was simply losing my time. Very incompetent uncooperative person. Ive decided to go legal way and file a complaint to the Medical Board of California . You cannot use EXPIRED PRODUCTS and then NOT EVEN TO CARE about it!I mention my consultation was on October 6th

I absolutely loved Beverly Hills Optometry. It was my first time in this office, and the whole process went by smoothly. I came in for an eye exam and was able to get my prescription updated! The staff was helpful, and Dr. Younany was amazing. She was able to answer all my questions, and was genuinely the sweetest. Also had this cool retinal photo (ask about the optos, so interesting!) taken of my eye which was not invasive at all and easy! If you want to see doctors that legitimately care about the health of your eyes come here!

This is a great business. All the employees are kind, engaging and knowledgeable. The office has a relaxing vibe, and is thoughtfully set up for patients. I haven’t had a problem street parking, but there is also a parking lot accessible through what looks like a walkway inbetween the shop next door and the office. I also love that they were open on a Saturday and that you can make appointments online.

I want to thank Dr Silani and his office for helping me get my contacts which i didnt received by giving them 5 stars. I only received 6 months contacts supply while I ordered 1 years supply. I was upset but Dr Silanis office helped resolve this problem. Thank you so much for being helpful!

I get an advanced eye exam every year even though I dont wear glasses or contacts because I like the peace of mind. Thoroughly explains things and has great tech in his office. Pricing isn’t too bad with insurance and without insurance it can be pricey but i feel like if it’s expressed he’d do the best he could. I definitely recommend this place. Easy appointment making via Zocdoc which is where I found them as well.

I went for a comprehensive exam and I wish I had gone earlier. The exam was thorough and informative. I ask a lot of questions and Dr. Kambiz and his staff answered all of them, and then answered them again when I didnt understand the first time. I saw all of my exam results immediately afterwards and understood the next steps that he suggested. Dr. Kambiz was also very upfront with prices and insurance coverage. He gave me every piece of information I could possibly need to decide what I wanted to do. I dare say that I had fun at my appointment because Dr. Kambiz and his staff were simply awesome.

Amazing experience with Dr Silani! My eyes have been particularly dry this summer and he was able to evaluate and give a great treatment plan for dry eyes. My husband and I went for our first Eye Exam after moving into the area. We spent a few hours researching doctors. Its not an easy task! Ultimately we decided to go with Dr. Silani because of his fantastic reviews.We were not disappointed. When you initially arrive there are some signs on the front of the street that direct you to the back of a long drive way. I think these signs could be made better, or more professional looking but I found my way to the correct door.The doctor was funny, informative, and ultimately made me SEE that I actually needed glasses! Shocked as I was, I am very happy that we made the decision to visit this professional.

As a center that specializes in treating dry eyes, extensive treatments for this condition are offered, specific to each patients needs; among the several treatments available, I have observed Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), TearCare, and Lipiflow.While I had shadowed at other optometry offices in the past, never before had I seen any of these treatments. With each treatment, Dr. Silani and Dr. Younany are professional, thorough, and exceptionally mindful that patients are comfortable while carrying out the treatment.

Words can’t explain the thorough and detailed care these amazing eye care professionals administer to me. This is my second visit here and it’s feels incredible to see such continuity in a business that takes such great care of its patients! To experience it is to believe it. It’s got old school charm with new school technology. This young couple are the epitome of what genuine and diligent care with class, looks like. Dr. Silani and his (always so lovely) wife {Nada}, will always have my business, my respect and anyone I can refer (haha).Usually I like to keep my rare treasures to myself, but this type of exclusive service is bound to be found out anyway. I could easily go on about the outstanding care and advice for preventative care they have given me and for my children. Also not mentioning how he used one of his high-tech machines on me 2 years ago only to find a dip in side my eye, which needed to be monitored as possible Glaucoma. Being 38 at the time it was extremely shocking. After the last visit Dr. Silani has added a new Doctor to his office, which completes their fantastic dream team, Dr. Younany (A.K.A Dr. Y) which he allowed to exam in me so that we can get to know one another. She was Outstanding (of course), but we went back under the machine and re-measured that dip and thankfully no Glaucoma ... my eyes are just weird(haha) everything is the same . The machine also compares your eye or findings to others in your age range... and just like that I’m blown away, but remain absolutely full of gratitude for the time and care they take when I come in. And No I was absolutely NOT paid to write this! Have 1 visit and see if you don’t experience the same care and amazing attention I did. Thanks again Beverly Hill Optometry for an amazing visit. Great service and make me feel very much at home. The staff were well organized and Dr Silani is amazing he has the most advanced machines and his knowledge of dry eyes in particular is amazing. I saw a 3d model of my eye vs same time last year to see how it changed he went over my results and explained it in clear English and didnt over complicate it 5* experience everytime thank you Dr. SIlani

Just new to the city and I am so glad I went to see Dr. Silani. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend him to everyone!

It doesn’t feel like going to a doctor’s office because everyone is so personable and kind. All the testing equipment is clean and they get you in and out. If you’re looking for an eye doctor, I would highly recommend you check out Dr Silani and his team!

FANTASTIC optometrist. Ive been with Dr. Silani for about a year and a half now, and hes very reasonably priced, has excellent facilities, and is probably the friendliest, most laid-back doctor Ive ever dealt with. Hes knowledgeable about my issues, and shows great concern for me both medically and personally. HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Silani is absolutely amazing! He really takes the time to explain each step of the eye exam and to ensure that youre comfortable during the appointment and not rushed. His office has the most state of the art equipment and it was so easy to book my appointment online at a time that worked for me (after work hours). They also have an AMAZING selection of frames next door!

Amazing experience with Dr Silani! He has the friendly staff and best eye care technology. I spend many hours on the computer and have eye strain. Dr Silani introduced me to the Eye Massage and within a few sessions my eyes felt refreshed and rejuvenated! Definitely recommend and he has easy and complimentary parking!!
