The store was nice and the demo glasses were being disinfected so that was good to see, but theyve changed their hours to close at 6pm instead of 6.30pm and its not reflected on their own website.

Was a bit nervous going to the Bethesda location because of some of the negative reviews I had read prior to my visit. However, I had a positive experience. I arrived at 11:15am, and the store was already pretty busy. I was greeted as soon as I entered and was offered assistance every so often while looking at glasses. While I was deciding on the glasses, I heard other customers ask questions and the employees were extremely polite and seemed helpful. Once I decided on a pair of glasses, an employee assisted me very quickly. I really appreciated them not pressuring me into purchasing extra things, like other retailers do. They simply asked yes or no and moved on to the next question. I was literally done with the check out process in less than 5 minutes. Cant speak to the quality or durability of the glasses just, yet.

I had a great experience here. I have purchased from Warby before, when they didn’t have many locations, and was pleased to see I could come in to have my glasses adjusted. They have an Apple-like customer service set-up where someone near the door has a tablet and greets you and checks you in. I browsed for maybe five minutes and then was called to the desk. The man that made my adjustments was kind, quick and thorough. What more can you ask for? Oh- and the location can’t be beat!

So far so good! Paid $126 for a pair of reading glasses that LensCrafters was going to charge me close to $500! No, they don’t carry designer frames, but the ones I got are great looking and the prescription/lenses are perfect! Will pick up a pair of distance glasses this weekend:) Done with rip off LensCrafters...

Terrible customer service and incompetent optician, DO NOT BUY GLASSES FROM THIS STORE.I have purchased Warby Parker glasses in the past and had a great experience with customer service at the Georgetown and Shaw Stores (Washington, DC). After my prescription expired I went to the Bethesda store to get my new pair. This was a HUGE MISTAKE. The staff at this store do not even come close to rising to the quality at the other locations where I purchased my glasses in the past. When I went to pickup my glasses after purchase and upon putting them on I became instantly nauseous, when I told the optician (and manager) she became visibly annoyed and blamed me for giving them the wrong prescription. I pulled the prescription up to verify and once we compared them she told me that there was nothing wrong with the glasses and they met the prescription. She begrudgingly sent the glasses back for adjustments (although no new measurements were taken, or really any sort of troubleshooting). When they returned I went to pick them up. I immediately had the issue persist. The same optician bent the glasses over the nose and it made a slight bit of positive difference (having worn them for longer I realized it made no difference other than making them very uncomfortable). In hindsight I wish I had asked for a refund. I was swayed by the opticians insistence that I just needed to get used to the new prescription. I had no issue adjusting to the new prescription in my contacts. I have since realized that there is a ripple or some sort of defect in the left lens that distorts what I see, but had to figure that out by wearing them and feeling awful. I have reached out to corporate about my issue, but nothing they do will change my opinion of this particular store. Too bad because I like the brand and have had great experiences at other stores.Great glasses at Warby Parker but NEVER purchase them from this store.

The brand is cool, I like the style and they are affordable, the staff are great, but the most important thing, the quality, is poor. I have two pairs and take really good care of them, better than any other glasses Ive owned. Yet I have to replace the lenses of both in just over a year! Ive never had this problem w glasses purchased from an optometrist. I think the Warby brand is possibly all fad, and low quality. You get what you pay for. So buyer beware

Unbelievable company with excellent customer service. My first pair of glasses did not make it to me and without question I was sent another pair. Fast response team. Love my glasses and love how they deliver on their promises.

Absolutely painless (and considering how painful glasses shopping can be, thats saying a lot.) I was in and out in half an hour on a busy Sunday. I worked with three staff members and each of them was as lovely as could be.

This place is a joke. My lenses fell off 1st time, they used bare hand to fix/twist the lenses/frames (almost broke my lenses); then my lenses fell off 2nd time so I left my glasses at the store for them to fix-they haven’t called me back yet (they didn’t care) after a few days at the same time persuaded me to buy a new pair b/c they were unable to fix mine. Of course, I wasn’t surprised - they were extremely unprofessional, they didn’t even had a proper tool to fix my glasses!Their glasses didn’t even last long enough (Max 2 years or less). All of their customer support staffs wear glasses to look cute - but they are not that capable nor knowledgeable to fix my glasses. Very millennial type of store, I am very disappointed ☹️! !

Really great customer service. greeted warmly and, within 5min, was watching Rich pop the lenses out of some bent frames I purchased online to then put in a fresh set -- while adjusting them to fit my freakin face perfectly (pretty hard with lopsided elephant ears).Oh right. And it was gratis.Tip all service.

Came to the location in Bethesda MD for the first time to get my glasses made. After receiving great service I took my husband here. When his glasses came in he couldnt see. They sent them back to have them remade. Second pair came out no better. So we called customer service. We decided to give them one last chance. They took new measurements and we hope this pair finally works. Came to pick them up today. Since their hours online said 11am for the 4th. Once we got there around 11:10 there doors were still locked. Employees were entering telling customers waiting outside they were opening at noon. No sign on the door. Nothing online telling customers they were opening late today. Called customer service they said the store was opening at 11am. Yet the store told us noon. You would assume that corporate would know when their stores were opening. The guy on the phone kept trying to reach the store to get this figured out no one was answering. It took me going back to the store knocking repeatedly on the door to get an employee to come I gave them the phone. The guy told them they were supposed to open at 11 not noon. So after several calls to corporate and fighting with the employee they finally let me in before noon but they kept their door locked ignoring all the customers waiting outside as their sign read Monday through Friday 11am. After being told by the supervisor at customer service that my glasses were being expedited and ordering them almost 2 weeks ago they still werent in. So after all that time wasted. Still no glasses. Its been close to 3 months that I have been fighting with them for correct glasses. Even went back to the eye doctor and the doctor said that they took the wrong measurements. Gave the paper with the new measurements to the people at warby only to be told that everything was correct. So I guess the doctor I have been using for several years is the one who isnt correct. Lets see if glasses number 3 will allow me to see.
