Dr. Durana is a combination of the finest therapist, teacher, and coach that Ive ever had. From classic cognitive behavioral therapy (be prepared to work hard!) to mindfulness meditation instruction to acupuncture and even boxing, he drew from his extensive array of tools whatever technique would most effectively address the issue of the day. There is no one else in this area (if anywhere) who does what he does, and does it so well.

I initially contacted Dr. Durana for an acupuncture appointment because of chronic rotator cuff pain. His manner is professional yet caring and gentle. His method for combining acupuncture with body work has been a great combination of treatment for me. Over time, shoulder pain has become less of a problem but the combined treatment has addressed other issues, like sciatic nerve compression from running, neck aches likely from my overall posture and even intense menstrual cramping. I think not only is the bimodal treatment a reason for the improvements, but also that Dr. Durana himself is an element of the healing process.
