In addition to air purifiers, patients entering the office are further protected by air sanitizers and extremely sanitized treatment rooms. There is strict adherence by both staff and patients to maintain distance and to wear masks. Combined, these protocols provide for a very safe environment.Dr. Tian has treated my various health issues for more than 5 years. I seek her help in areas where traditional medicine has limited solutions, such as reducing inflammation in the body. Acupuncture treatment has worked extremely well for me and this is a great practice.

The doctor is attentive. The treatment is effective. The procedures are well organized. The waiting time is usually under 5 minutes. The staff is well trained, organized polite and helpful. The office is immaculately clean.

The office is super clean and I feel so cared from the time I arrive till the time I leave. I dont write reviews as often as I should, but have been really impressed with how Dr Christina and her team have done such a great job with Covid19 safety protocols and sanitation in her center -- she definitely deserves a shout-out! Always a very caring, nurturing and dedicated practitioner, she goes above and beyond to make sure that you feel at ease in the current climate, so you can fully relax during your session and not stress. That hasnt been the case at other offices Ive ventured into, and I totally appreciate it!

Dr. Tian and her entire staff are professional, warm, welcoming and dedicated to providing clients with the best care possible. Firstly, the covid precautions this office takes are outstanding and I feel incredibly safe. Dr. Tian is very thorough- not only does she treat with acupuncture, but she offers dietary changes, lifestyle modifications as well as stress management and emotional well being tips. She is a very intuitive person and for me, is an amazing resource to lean on as I navigate fertility support. She is highly professional and has a deep knowledge of TCM and acupuncture. My husband and I have both been seeing her for a few months now for different health concerns and wee both are very satisfied. She is respective to my concerns, genuinely listens, and modifies her treatments as she goes- this makes me feel so comfortable with her approach. I would recommend her treatments to anyone. I knew nothing about acupuncture before my initial visit and I wish I would have turned to this treatment long ago. I now think of wellbeing very differently and feel empowered with the new knowledge I have and hope to integrate this type of treatment into my life. The front desk and management team here are also stellar- so kind and welcoming and so easy to work with when changing and making appointments. So happy this great resource is now in the area.

Dr. Tian is incredible!! She is the first doctor I’ve seen for acupuncture and she is very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. The acupuncture treatment itself has helped me with circulation, anxiety, and a host of other issues.Peter is also extremely welcoming and kind!As for the covid procedures, Dr. Tian’s office exceeded my expectations. Dr. Tian and her staff at Bethesda Acupuncture & Wellness Medicine have made a paramount difference in my recovery and injury management. As a strength athlete, I put my body through a lot of abuse. However, since starting treatment with Dr. Tian, my training performance in Powerlifting, Weightlifting, and Strongman have dramatically improved, because I no longer have to worry about excessive soreness/stiffness. Dr. Tian is amazing! I first went in on the referral of a coworker around the middle of my pregnancy when I was going on my 4th straight day of a migraine I couldn’t shake (and could no longer medicate due to my pregnancy). My migraine was gone by the end of my first session and keeping up with weekly visits kept me from suffering headaches for the rest of my pregnancy (and I am typically a chronic migraine sufferer) and also made me feel generally happy and calm, even amid the covid crisis. Dr. Tian also gave me tons of helpful health and wellness advice at each visit to naturally promote a healthy pregnancy and was always supportive and reassuring. I upped visits to twice/weekly at the end of my pregnancy and ultimately had a relatively quick and smooth labor, which I understand is often not the case for first time moms. The experience was wonderful and I fully intend to turn first to acupuncture (and specifically to Dr. Tian) for any medical issues I encounter going forward. By the way — be aware that all acupuncture is not the same! I tried out a much less experienced and credentialed acupuncturist due to the fact that Dr. Tian’s practice was not covered by my insurance and was far from my house, but quickly determined it was well worth the extra time and cost to stick to the gold standard.

I am very grateful for Christina’s caring and expertise. I would highly recommend her for either a person trying to address a serious illness, or someone getting acupuncture for prevention and de-stressing.Also, the office has really strict safety standards for COVID, which is why they can remain open.
