Wow! It is remarkable that you stay in business. There are no appointments available for physicals. I waited 5.5 hours to have all of my testing complete. No one volunteered Information about the wait time. I was told Concentra is now staffing only 1 MD at each site daily. My drug screen was not resulted after 5 days, requiring me to start my position a week later. Lots of work to fix this!

Test was fine but the workers have no idea what is going on and cant give you a solid answer on anything, they tell you something and when you find out they where wrong and call them on it..... All of a sudden they cant do anything and have to wait for someone else to come along. If youre waiting for test results, you might as well go somewhere else and get it done, youll have the results a lot faster.

I would have enjoyed The Visit more better but one of the staff members was very sour toward me I did not appreciate the unprofessional behavior that I was being treated with and the very dry attitude thats all I have to say I have to say besides the doctor was great and the other young lady was very nice also. I was almost sorry that I came from my physical other than that Im glad to doctor and the other young lady was there to perk my spirit stuff I got a little bit more comfortable but that was the 1st time I ever had a dry attitude From your staff She seemed to have been rather impatient and didnt really want to be bothered whatever was going on in her life I had nothing to do with it again thank you

Although my personal results were not what I had expected The staff was very professional and efficient in their task of administering plus the actual nurse completing the test very courteous, friendly and organizedI would recommend any company needing your services look you up

Im still here. I actually signed in at 08:26. There were 6 people ahead of me. I can truly say that Ive never received service like this before. I was here for a fit test, Physical, and drug screen for my job. I did not choose to come here. I hope Im never sent to this organization again. I was first told 2 hr wait. I was fine with that because l was a walk in. At At 11:10 l asked the front desk about my wait time. She said she didnt know and Id be called when they were ready. At 12:10 l asked again. She called the back room and she told me atleast half an hour. Ok. At 12:45 l finally get called in. A female staff in scrubs who failed to identify herself performed my physical by asking me to read the chart for the eye test, and checked my blood pressure. I also urinated in a cup for a drug test. Was told to wait in a room for the fit test. It is 14:13 as l type this, just went to ask the same staff about said fit test. ( I had to wait for a bit as there was no one at the desk, when she came to the desk, she failed to acknowledge my presence. I didnt want to interrupt as she was obviously overwhelmed from lack of staffing). After about 3 minute, l had to say Excuse me and asked her about the fit test. She said she didnt know how long it would take cause she doesnt do them.!!!! I know she doesnt do them. If she did, l would like to think that she would have completed it with the other assessments.Hooray! Ive been called in, and this staff member introduced herselfEdit: 15:00 Im finally free. The doctor finally saw me after l complained to the manager for being made to wait for an unknown time. Ive been there almost as long as an entire shift

Arrived at 1:30 left at 4:15. No Reservation options. Reservations would make better use of all our time. I filled out all the required profile information from home, the system crashed during my physical, wasting the doctor and my time. I had to refill the required info by hand .

I got in and out much quicker than expected. The woman at the front desk was helpful when she finally got to me; however, I stood there for awhile while before she even looked at me. Also, I went twice as a walk-in to do a physical and each time, the combination of high demand and short staffing caused me to be unable to do it.Unless you’re making an appointment, try to come in as soon as they open!

I waited 2 hrs before I was seen, their computer system was having problems. Med Assistant Devine has awful long nails couldnt type on the table.. Even though everyone was friendly, it took 3 and half hrs after to finish my visit at Concentra..

Everyone was very nice just had a long guess its based on covid-19 Is protocol.

Had to wait over an hour for a simple pre-hire drug screening. Plenty of technicians available. Delays due to document processing. Certainly NOT first in, first out. Will never return voluntarily

It took me one month and secen visits for them to send my physical results to the third party company that reviews them. I needed to get a drs note that cleared me of my medications. After that they did nothing to assist in my employment process. This place is under staff and terrible. Dont come here for employment purposes. Those 5 star reviews are fake.

I owned a small business for 17 years and am sensitive to the challenges any business, large or small, is faced with when it comes to satisfying customer expectations. Hence, I rarely leave negative reviews unless they are well deserved.Concentra is that rare exception. I called one morning to see if I could make an appt for a pre-employment physical and was told to just come in and that they dont accept appointments. So I go in at 11:30 am and am told that they are not accepting any more physical exam appts for the day. They said to come in at 7:30am (30 minutes prior to opening time) to be assured I would get an exam. So I come in two days later at 7:30 and wait in a line for it to open. At 7:50 am someone sticks their head out the door and states that they wont be conducting physical exams today because the doctor called in sick. What?So I rush over to the next closest Concentra facility that is 30 minutes away where I am allowed to sign in for a physical exam. Four hours later they call me and the doctor comes in and gives a very cursory exam that takes all of 10 minutes. Half of my day in a waiting room for a 10 minute exam. Utterly ridiculous.

I arrived at 8:10 AM and signed in for a physical and N95 fit test. I was told by Maria (front desk clerk) that it would be an hour wait and that I needed to have my own mask for the fit test so I told her Id go outside and be back in one hour with my mask. 1 hour later I follow up and am told to wait more. 2 hours later I am told they suddenly cannot do the fit test today and I will need to go somewhere else for that but can stay for the physical which will be an additional hour wait. 3 hours after checking in, I asked Maria how much longer. Mind you, my name is the 5th on the list of about 20+ and I got here ten minutes after opening. Im told theres only one person ahead of me. I hear Maria tell another patient the same thing only one person ahead of you. Meanwhile, several other patients are called back and leave before me. At this point, I am only here for the physical. Nearly 4 hours after check in, I am finally brought into the exam room where I continue to wait. The person who appeared to be in charge, Jackie, was equally unhelpful. I check again over 4 hours later when I will be seen for this 5 min physical and am again told Im next. Ive been here since they clocked in this morning. Almost an entire shift for them, and Ive waited for a physical exam... And now I need to go to another location for the fit test. (I was told by the nurse that the one person who is qualified to do the fit testing just quit which is why theyre unable to do it). I feel so disrespected, by Maria and Jackie and the entire staff here at Concentra Berkeley. Its a shame that businesses contract with them for onboarding requirements for their new hires. I would not recommend to anyone to visit this location for job related requirements. Absolute mess.Over all time from check in to leaving = 5 hours.

They need more help! I got to my appointment in Berkeley before they opened, waited in a line until the doors opened, checked in at the front desk & had to wait another 1-1/2 hours before I was finally seen! They need more help & another doctor there! Only 1 nurse & 1 doctor for a busy location like Berkeley. Ridiculous.

Worst urgent care place I’ve ever been to. Absolutely no consideration for your time. Waited for 3 hours before finally being called in, once I was in I was left in one of the rooms for 20 minutes, so I finally had enough and went to go look for the woman that left me in the room, and literally heard her say “oh I forgot about my patient” as she walked out of a chatting room and saw me. Honestly abhorrent in every way. Terribly disorganized, extremely understaffed, and honestly seemed unsafe. Would never come here again.

I recently had a physical exam and labs drawn and I was very pleased with the interaction with all staff members. I was particularly impressed with the front desk staff who checked me in. She came out to the waiting area and updated us on the wait time, apologized for the delay, and assured us they were doing everything they can to get us seen as soon as possible. These are some of the small things that I value about great customer service! Thanks to everyone who worked that day.

I arrived at 8 am for a urine screening and physical exam, I checked in and sat down to wait for my turn. I waited patiently for the first hour and gave them the benefit of the doubt due to the pandemic and maybe not having enough staff on hand and waited 30 more minutes before I stood up and asked when I would be seen, the receptionist informed that there were patients ahead of me and to be patient.As I waited patiently for 3 hours, I noticed that everyone before me had been seen and patients that came in after me were being seen. I became angry and talked to the receptionist who then told me that my information had “disappeared”. I was in disbelief and beyond angry at this but didnt become irate towards anyone because I was “FINALLY” being seen after a 3 hour wait.Im mostly upset that I didnt receive an apology from anyone.

While the staff was friendly and efficient during my physical, I waited 45 minutes to be brought in for my appointment, and another 30 minutes for the doctor to sign off on me because no one had told her that I was in the examination room.

Wait time was terrible for walk in services. If possible, secure an appointment ASAP! My medical practitioners were friendly & very helpful once services were able to take place.

2 hour wait for a test that took 35 seconds to administer 10 seconds to leave the building. 2 hours & 45 seconds just for a TB test. Staff moves as fast as sloths

Short wait times, and the nicest staff! From the front desk to the nurse and even the young Doctor who genuinely took interest in my past medical history and injuries was great 👍🏽

I had a 11 o’clock appointment before I went to work which I started at two but I didn’t get seen until 130 so I was late for work. And the only reason I’m giving this one star is because the woman that checked my weight and height she was very friendly courteous and professional if it wasn’t for her I would give it zero stars

Staff are so accommodating and friendly especially the Black female receptionist (forgot her name). I am so glad they still accepted me for a pre-employment physical testing walk-up even the PA (Physician Assistant) has already done his last cut off time for physical exam appointment. Thanks guys!

The staff was wonderful but the doctor ( Charles Blackshear) was very unprofessional and arrogant. He came into the exam irritated and was very aggressive when he started interacting with me. He then started trying to chastise me when I didnt remember a medication and after I went to my car to get the meds, he apologized and stated that he was a serious person and I responded that Iwas as well. He then stated that I needed a 90 day sleep study report instead of a 60 day report, which I had presented to him. I asked him when did they change the requirement for a 90 day instead of a 60 day, he became irritated again and stated that it has always been that way I that I was just lucky before. He then told me that if I were to get a 90 day report that same day, which I did that he would sign off on my DOT physical. When I returned to Concentra and turned it in at 4:04 pm, I waited for almost another hour just to be told that the doctor said that it was too late and that I had to come back the next day, which I did. The doctor shouldnt play with peoples careers because he can and I had to compromise my job for two days to get cleared for another year. His behavior is extremely alarming and unexceptionable

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I understand long lines and wait times. But the staff seemed genuinely disinterested in streamlining and providing quick service. I went for a simple TB test. It took well over an hour to get it placed.They have you leave your number so that they can call you when its your turn. Do they call? No. I had to remind them myself. When it was time to read the test (48-72 hrs later) they were not even open!Maybe I came on a bad day, everyone has bad days. But it truly was a shame.

Decent workers but horrible service. They should not say they accept walk ins when their schedule is constantly booked. Its not hard to put a no walk in sign today at the entrance. Went in several different times and got turned away.

Extremely long wait times (was once sitting there for 3 hours before being helped even with an appointment). Incompetent staff... literally. If the older women in the reception is out of the office, there is no one else that can take care of your paperwork because they only have 1 person trained for this. Very inefficient. Rude and unprofessional doctors who deny treating injuries and even remove treatment completely even after diagnosis. This healthcare facility is in need of a better system and more empathetic provides and staff.

If you are concerned about Covid this might not be a good place for you. I had a pt session in the same room as another male patient who had a thin fabric face covering that he often was only partially wearing or not wearing at all. No one seemed concerned that he was non compliant.The next day I returned for my scheduled medical appointment and the waiting room was packed with people. I was not sure what to do because the one receptionist was on the phone. There were no instructions posted. I was instructed to sign in at the desk when I entered into the physician’s area on my own. Unwilling to stand around a packed waiting room, I left my cell number and waited in my car. The whole situation was perversely risky and I unhealthy.My medical attention here was adequate. The pt was stretched thin but very good.

I went in at 11am for a Dot physical test they told it’s a 2hr wait and I said that’s fair it’s walk in May I say this is no hospital or emergency room it’s a clinic after 4hrs waiting asking multiple times How long more and I just kept getting the same answer “soon “ I just got up and left because I had work so after 5hrs I wasted they still haven’t called for me

I have visited 3 Concentra Clinic and only this Concentra in Berkeley given me the attention that an injured person like me deserves. Care was great, but the wait time was unacceptable. I needed a quick test for work, arrived at 757am (opens at 8) and was first in line. I didn’t get in for my test until 850. Staff was nice and seemed competent just unacceptable wait time.

Staff seem nice, but the system and workflow is broken resulting is ridiculous long waits.

My experience was terrible. It was very on organized. I had an appointment it took two hours for them to even call my name then it took another hour for them to just do basics like giving me a exam hearing test breathing test etc. By this time I’ve been there three hours and they still have not even taken my blood pressure yet which should’ve been the very first thing they did was check my blood pressure height and weight I was only there for a basic physical then I still had to wait 45 minutes in a room unattended before I could see the doctor, I found this to be very unacceptable. This location seem to be very unprofessional and clearly had no clue what they were doing and I would not recommend going to this location to anyone but I have never had this many problems in the other facilities and I will not be going back to this location ever and I will not recommend this location to anyone else. My appointment was made almost a week in advance and it still took me four hours just to do a basic physical totally unacceptable!

An appointment was made for me through gift of life and I showed up fifteen minutes early. Even with an appointment they told me I would wait up to two hours. Very disappointed but when I was seen, everyone was very efficient.

Doctor Balfour did a great job. I give three stars because the office called to remind me just 8 minutes before my appointment to remind me. Mind you, I was already in the parking lot, but a further-out reminder would have been more helpful. Also, my employer was informed I wasn’t at my appointment; yet, I received a receipt that I was present. Had I lost that paper I wouldn’t have had proof that I was even at the appointment and could have gotten written up.

Everything went ok but once in the room took a long time before doctor came in. Other than that no complaints.

Recently went for my N95 fitting and the MA would not have had me do the smell test chemical first had I not reminded her that the fit testing is invalid without it. I didnt feel at all confident that she knew what she was doing.I had a similar experience about a year ago when I went for my employee physical - the NP who saw me did not know how to do a correct cranial nerve exam, (and did a very sketchy incomplete physical exam in general), my temperature got recorded as 98.6 even though no one ever took my temperature, etc... not confidence-inspiring.On the plus side, everyone was very pleasant and they got me in relatively quickly.

Everyone has been extremely helpful and attentive. I feel like all of the staff listened to me and took my injuries seriously. Answered all of my questions and explained everything along the way.

Very great staff. it was so busy when i walked in, overwhelming the office pretty much i did wait for a while . and still they put on a smile and positive attitude. I would recommend that EVERYONE go here for the physicals and TB tests. :)

4hr wait for a drug screening for work

This location for Occupational Medicine is awful! The healthcare providers are incompetent and the wait times are atrocious. I waited for 5 hours in pain just to see a doctor with horrible bedside manner. I’m not sure why John Muir uses their services. One of the providers Helen Zu told me to go see my primary doctor as if she knew she was too incompetent and my employer specifically sent me here for the injury and I wasn’t having these symptoms until the injury happened. It like they do the bare minimum to assist you like their working against you. Go somewhere else. Do not come to This location.

I had a walk in for a job pre-employment drug test and physical. I filled out some paperwork and to my surprise I was seeing within a reasonable time without an appointment. Everyone was very nice and professional.

Each time I come, the wait is completely unacceptable. I called in last Monday and was told that the wait to place a simple TB test would be 60 minutes. I said I would come around eight the next day. I arrived at 8:10. I had to wait 30 minutes for a simple TB test to be placed After filling out about seven (!!!, yes, 7!!) pages of paperwork. Every time I have been at this facility, which has been about four times now or maybe five, I have had to wait 30 to 75 minutes for simple items. When I asked the staff about the wait. I was given snarky responses by the main front desk staff. I think this facility is simply understaffed. This year, I actually called in for an appointment. I spent 20 minutes on the phone and about five calls to get to make the appointment. I still had to wait 20 minutes with the appointment. Needs better staffing! It is very hard when I have a busy day to spend valuable time in my working hours to sit and wait a long time.

The facility did not seem clean. I had a very long (90min) wait for a TB test and drug screen and when I was finally called I was told that they were out of the TB injection stuff and I would need to go to Berkeley for that. Since they were aware when I checked in that the order for the injection was not in they should have sent me to Berkeley then, rather than making we wait all that time and THEN sending me to Berkeley!!!

They make you sit in a room for a whole hour after you’ve completed your physical. There is no sense of urgency. There is no transparency. No one checks to see if you have been taken care of. Terrible service all around the board .

I was told I could walk in for services (needed a urine drug screen). I walked in and I was quoted an hour-and-half wait, so had to return to work as I didnt have that much time set aside. I returned the next day for an appointment, and still waited 40 minutes. Once I was back, however, service seemed friendly and efficient. The result got to my potential employer quickly.

People who work here are fine. Scheduled appointments dont mean anything here. DOT physical scheduled at 10:30 AM. Was seen at 11:45 AM. Find someplace else.

In the end I did get a solution to my health issue, it just took far longer than it should have. Caveat: I was a walk-in, but my walk-in experience at other urgent care clinics has been much faster than here.A couple specific things I noticed: they took all my measurements and had me change into a gown before anybody asked me why I was there. Also once I saw the Dr, he was very personable but he took notes by typing with 1 finger. So most of the appointment was waiting for him to type and it became clear why the wait had been so long. Why not hire him a typist?

I have never been to this center in my life until one day my job refers me to visit them after I had an injured from work. At first they seem to be nice and welling to help, however; it was not after you were being there so long. I read all the reviews and not understanding whats good service from them if they really helpful. I was return to come to see them do to my injured part was pain. At first, I thought was better and so happy, it was not really. I contact worker compensation , and they was put me on pending. Even the doctor and nurse over there was a question too. One of nurse who speak Spanish and other black hair with a eye glass given me so different answers. If I listen one of them, I have to face different disrespect or respect service. Today I am coming here to see doctor , not forcing and argue and treat human like nothing. We are human being , of course, no one like to be injured but for some not even care. All they care are their mission. Am I came in right place were we treat respect or put you down like nothing. Do we need this kind medical or doctor and nurse? All the knowledge they learned were forgetting who we are. God create us has nothing wrong but you and whatever who was control. God would felt sad to this happen. Helping people should came with peace and heart with care. Nothing just put her at the side. Worst ever!!

I won’t recommend this place for anyone. They’re rude. You will spend at least 30 minutes in the waiting room even if you’re the only one to take the drug test. You have to enjoy watching a movie with high sound volume and they’ll refuse to turn it down or shut it off. They deserve no starts out of 5.

The Dr. WagnerHe was Horrible. He told me everything look good on my mri. Never give me paper of my mri so I can read it. He send me back to work with no Restriction. I’m so in pain with my back. I know how I feel. He don’t know how I feel. And I am so severe and painful.

U S HealthWorks environment is very nice, workers, physical therapist, very nice. Now the Doctors on the other hand is a different story, job injury and they dont listen, nor fill out the work status report correctly, if you have a choice between U S HEALTHWORKS OR KAISER PLEASE TAKE KAISER........

I have been going there for a workmans comp injury. The staff is great and friendly! But their system is out of whack. The physical therapy side is very efficient. But the other side leaves much to be desired. My wait times just to see the doctor for re-consultation averages about 2 hours, with some wait times as long as 3.5 hours in the waiting room! Specially if its your first time. I feel relieved when they call my name and put me into a room, but then I wind up waiting another 30 minutes up to an hour for a 10 min. re-consultation with the doctors. Kinda crazy but thats how it is over there. Again, all the staff is very friendly, so 2 stars for them.

Thisbplace is great! Walk ins welcome and they also took me for my appointment even though I was 30 minutes late. The chiropractor and physical therapist are very helpful and dont rush through the visit.

This place brings incompetence to new levels. When I walked in for a pre-employment physical I was told it would be a 90 minute wait. Since I had to use the restroom I asked if I could give the sample but they said no. I certainly couldnt hold it 90 minutes so I went to the restroom. I was then called 15 minutes later and expected to provide a urine sample. I declined the TB test as I live nowhere near this clinic and didnt want to drive back to have it read. Naturally the tech comes at me with the TB test needle. I told her that I had refused it. She said Seriously? (eye roll) Youre not going to have the TB test? When I explained why, she seemed annoyed and basically strong armed me into letting her place the test, telling me I could get it read anywhere (not true, I later found out). I suspect they get in trouble for wasting medications. When I finally acquiesced I had to remind her to swab the area first. The physical portion of the visit consisted of me following the physicians assistants finger back and forth and her putting a stethoscope to my back and chest. Why on earth I had to get undressed for this is totally beyond me. They really didnt seem to know what was required by this employer for their pre-employment screening which is ridiculous as Im sure they have a contract with said employer. This was just a horrendous experience from start to finish. Avoid this place at all costs.

Concentra is by far the worst medical group ever they are not organized it seems to be only 1 doctor onsite they make about 15 appts for the same damn time so there is a bunch of ppl waiting in the lobby whose appts are also at the same damn time...the doctor is always late seeing patients and nothing ever seems to get done...Ive been hurt since april 8 2019 and they have not scheduled not 1 MRI or sent me to a second opinion doc which they were supposed to and now it is a month later with no meds only 6 sessions of PT

Do not go here even if your life depends on it. The staff is rude and unhelpful. I came here with an urgent medical situation and waited two hours before I was told the wait would probably be another hour. The folks at the reception desk didnt care that I was in extreme pain and in fact it seemed like they were trying to avoid helping me. This facility is a perfect example of whats wrong with America. You can get better care in third world countries.

After being a patient in the Workers Comp arena for 6 months, I get how slow and painful the process can be while trying to get medical treatment. U.S. HealthWorks Medical Group in Berkeley is not super different than other occupational and urgent care centers. Long waits and lots of paper work...you know the drill. BUT, the people who work their make all the difference. When you go there for a visit, really make the effort to get to know the staff there (front desk and Doctors.) You wont regret it. Their staff (especially Maria and Dr. Sreedharan are exceptional at what they do. Maria couldnt have a tougher job, dealing with insurance companies and people in pain but she always follows through and makes sure to tell you to have a nice day-which you need to hear when you are in pain and trying to get through the whole process. If you can (even though there are long waits) go see Dr.Sreedharan! He helped diagnose me with something that no other Doctor could catch. I am so grateful and he is worth the wait!

Do not go to this location for any reason. At all.I went there once and was forced to wait an extraordinarily long time. I went back because I was having a potential medical issue (turned out to be OK) and I thought hey, at least I wont have to fill any paperwork out here and theyll see me fast because of that.Wrong. I had to re-fill out all the same paperwork and we were there for over two hours waiting. Then, a PA walked in and told me oh you should go to an ER. We dont handle this kind of thing very well here, and in fact, I dont even trust my own machine!Are you kidding me? Your staff couldnt have told me that two hours ago when I described symptoms and they double checked them?Just awful.EDIT: Later, they had the audacity to attempt to bill my insurance almost $500 for very long doctors visit. Quite simply, this is fraud; I never saw a doctor (only a PA) and I saw the PA for less than three minutes.

I believe the negative reviews are caused by misunderstandings of the sensitivity of certain cases that U.S. Healthworks navigates which also holds a need of trust and certain level of care being that peoples livelihood depends on some of the urgent care procedures and followups.Thanks so much.

The PA I saw was great. He really tried to work with my insurance company to get the testing I needed, however, my insurance company, BS of CA, provided crap information. When I contacted US HealthWorks three business days later they said they WILL NOT send the stat MRI request to the pre-authorization agency. They flat out refused. The PA said it was needed STAT!! but their bureaucracy doesnt care. My problem, not theirs. So if you go here for urgent care, youre probably wasting your time and will have to run around trying to get their non-referral referrals through to other health care providers. Best just go to the ER.

Staff here is amazing! especially the Physical Therapy area and therapists! They wotk with you and if you put in the work so do they.

The wait time is super long (almost 3 hours) for something that only takes about 30 minutes.

I arrived for my hand Doctor’s appointment on time. It took over 45 min before I was taken into the room.While I was waiting there were 3 other patients at the front desk complaining about the Hands Doctor. I still gave her a chance to examine my hand. Well she did not even look at my hand nor my face . She was rude and arrogant. She did not listened to my complaint, nor she care about my pain. Again she was arrogant and all she said was the MRI does not lie. This is what it is. Place a wrap on two of my fingers. My consultation with her was no more than 4 min. She walked away andad said you are all set.Only 4 min in the exam room.Is this what US health works is all about?Ernesto Castellanos Lozano.

The waiting time is terrible even with appointment I have to wait over 2 hr just to pass I prefer to go somewhere elseBut inside the nurses and doctors are very nice and professional. Just for that I hive 3 stars

The staff is great and very friendly, but the male doctor there is a quack. I breathed in some poisonous gas and was having issues breathing and he told me to take some Robitussin. This was the same doctor that said nothing was wrong with my hand. After having another doctor to check it out, he clearly saw that it needed to be operated on.
