An outstanding research facility open to anyone who has a proposal accepted. Funded by the DOE, users are not required to pay a fee. The engineering and administrative staff are excellent. The Lab is not open to the public; advance arrangements must be made and a purpose for the visit is necessary.

They have a really good coffee machine in the second floor kitchen.

This facility embodies the epitome of interdisciplinary research facilities- finest kind, first in class. If in doubt, ask me, I was there at the beginning in 2004 during jump start phase.
