If you are scared of the dentist from previous bad experiences then you should go to this dentist.He was absolutely Amazing. I didn’t even feel him numb me. He did a Phenomenal job. Would absolutely recommend him.

I was extremely pleased with the way they took care of my family. They were kind and very understanding. Parking is limited and there isnt a place for parents to sit while your child is being seeing. I would definitely recommend them. They also wipe and clean after every use. Thank you ladies for a wonderful experience. My 2 year old had a great experience despite it being her first time. And my 6 year old enjoyed going.

My experience there was horrible. The staff was nice as was the dentist my first visit. The second visit however was a nightmare. I was taken in right away but sat in the chair waiting for a very long time before the dentist rushed in and began working on my teeth. He was in such a hurry that he literally stabbed me in the back of the throat which he then stitched up, then ripped my gums open in the front of my mouth while he rushed through the whole procedure. All the while telling me to keep quiet. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy nor will I ever go there again. On the other hand I gather that your treatment also depends on the type of insurance you have or cash to spend. The better it is the better the treatment. Beware.

I love them! My family has been going to Solano Family dentistry for 4 years and have never been disappointed! They have friendly staff and Dr. Salek is A patient, kind, straightforward & helpful dentist. They will do what they can for you! They also offer payment plans for those who need it. 10/10 would recommend!!

My son has a texture/gag problem and throws up almost every time he goes to the dentist. Solano Family made sure he always was safe and comfortable and treated him like a little adult (he’s 7) he did end up getting sick but they were so patient and kind. I took my son to fix his tooth and after a while hes in pain again and I went to another doctor and diagnosed that the same tooth done incorrectly and need to redo again . Im very disappointed from the service.

I would have never imagined saying that I really enjoy coming to see a dentist until now. I usually see Dr. Salek who is awesome !!!! But I was seen by Dr. Ho and she was pretty amazing !! So kind and thorough. She guided me step by step with what needed to be done and made me feel very comfortable the entire visit. I actually need to give the first acknowledgment to Kayleen ( she the receptionist) who not only was friendly over the phone but was just as welcoming when I got there. She knew my name right when I walked in and gave me a sense of feeling at home when I arrived. Mind you I haven’t been there since prob last year !! She is hands down absolutely one of the best receptionists that I have ever met. She is very professional, kind, informative, helpful and welcoming. She carries herself well with poise and confidence. She makes patients feel at ease and with her professionalism she made me feel confident that I made the right choice of coming here! Joelle answered all my questions and explained the procedures with me before starting. This put me at ease as I haven’t been to the dentist in a while, and didn’t know exactly what to expect. I was seen by Dr. Salek, who thoroughly assessed my teeth. He showed me an image on his computer of the different areas of my teeth that were good, and which ones needed more care. Overall, I had a great first time experience.

Friendly staff, office very clean. I had a tooth pulled and tooth front of that one I had a root canal & a temporary crown put on. I didnt feel anything except a little pressure. Looking for a new dental office for my family of 4. Visited the website and clicked the new patient referral button and entered my information....never a call back. Decided to call the office after not hearing back from my online referral - can never get a live person to answer. Left a voicemail stating I would be a new patient and was looking for a new dental office. Two weeks have passed and no return phone call. Business must be booming for them to not worry about calling new patients back.

They overbook always a very long wait and over charge for services. If you try to reschedule your appointment because he is taking longer than needed they charge you as well. Staff is nice is the only reason I gave 1 star. Joann is sweet!

I want to let you know that I went to Solano family dentistry today and had a very positive experience. I met with the staff and from the very beginning I felt very comfortable. When I met Dr. Salek made me feel welcomed, took very good care of me!If you’re looking for a very good dentist which takes your insurance look them up! I just located off of military West Suite 304 in Benicia! I’m certainly going to return!

Dr. Salek and staff are kind, knowledgable and thorough. Dr. Salek was personable and made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. I couldn’t have asked for a better dentist.

Great staff however I have severe anxiety and was told by the dentist that “being nervous wont help anyone” I had to have a tooth extraction and it was probably one of the worst dental experiences I’ve ever had. After they were finally able to get my tooth extracted he threw some gauze in my mouth and was told to use common sense for the after care of my mouth. I was giving no instructions on how to care for everything post op. No medicine, gauze or instructions were given. They were able to squeeze me in at the very last minute so maybe that’s why I had this experience, I’m sure everyone was just ready to go home and call it a day but I’m very nervous to have to go back for the post ops check up. Hopefully I’ll receive better treatment and instructions this time.

The doctor their whom as well is the owner, is very clean, professional, and patient. Best dentist I’ve attended w Medical. I recommend him to anyone I know looking for a dentist, I’m thankful for being referred to him. I travel 40mins to see him, & it’s worth it.

My first experience with having a bridge. It was more extensive in the preparation process than I imagined. I give credit to Dr. Salek for being patient with me. I was slightly nervous but relaxed toward the end. I appreciate that the final bridge (when it is returned from the lab) will turn out to perfection. I travel from San Francisco to see Dr. Salek. He is caring, professional and explains complex dental issues clearly and succinctly. After multiple procedures I came out with no pain at all. Found this office via a friend, I was in a bind for a cracked filling. I called Thursday night and they got back to me first thing Friday morning. Not only did I have a broken filling, but also new insurance. I was also leaving state for a trip the following Wednesday and needed to be seen. The office called me back first thing Friday, heard my dilemma and did what they could to get me into be seen. The receptionist was understanding and so helpful, informing me of some restrictions on my insurance plan that way I would not be in for a surprise. I appreciated that.They saw me first thing Friday morning, did X-rays/exam and checked out the cracked filling which ultimately needs a crown which is not covered under my insurance, they were willing to work with me financially and in such a bind I appreciated that to no measurable degree.I will definitely be a continuing patient of Solano Family Dental.However, the dentist I saw was rather confusing and I dont think she understood my dental emergency, or how/the best way to treat it. First suggesting I just refill the filling, secondly suggesting a crown but never giving me a straight answer. I think my next visit which will be to have the crown prepped and fitted with a temporary I will ask for the other dentist. Luckily all the women in the office were helpful and kind.

They take your problem to heart! Doctor is very professional but he explains things in a clear and simple way. Give clear options and suggestions while analyzing the pros and cons of each option. The staff there is also nice, they make me feel safe and well taken care of. It was my first time here because my regular dentist does not do root canals..I am new to my insurance (after finding out I have dental insurance)my current dentist is just 3 weeks new to me...I was only here for that reason,my sore tooth...My appt. was at 1pm..I arrived at 12:57pm...30 minutes later I was taken back..The doctor came in 15 mins.after that..45 minutes after my appointment time...Not a good start!.....While I was there for 1 tooth for a possible root canal,I got more information on another tooth...In the end I felt they found other things wrong and added into my visit only to give me possible balance for future work I may or may not have done....I feel this was done because the type of insurance I have and obviously I dont have thousands of dollars to pay out of pocket....Now I need to.start over in finding yet another dentist who can do a possible root canal on my tooth-..My regular dentist can take care of the procedures I need done... Would not recommend them!!

Dr. Salek is a wonderful dentist and so is the other lady dentist (I forget her name). I was apprehensive about bringing my younger children and was considering taking them to a pediatric dentist but they did very well with them and were very patient and gentle.Dr. Salek did my fillings and this was the first time I had little to no discomfort. I barely even felt the needle. He explained everything And through the whole process kept checking with me to make sure I was okay. I would highly recommend Solano family dentistry!

Dr Salek has an acute attention to details.After years of going to different dentists and seeing a few orthodontists, Dr Salek pointed out to an issue with my teeth that no one else had ever told me. This was quite helpful because it helped me to set the right path for my orthodontist treatment.

Great people, but scheduling needs to be better. The last few times my daughter has had to wait over half an hour past her appointment time. I can understand once in a while that happens, but the last three times? It then puts our schedule way behind. The last time she was about to walk out then they said they were just finishing up cleaning the station and that the cleaning would only take 15 minutes. So, they run behind but then rush thru her cleaning? Doesnt seem right to me.
