The staff here never listens to the needs of the patients getting blood draws. They always refuse my request for a more delicate needle for my veins, and often takes the phlebotomist multiple attempts with a regular needle, leaving me with massive hematomas that last for weeks. I cannot recommend this site, but it’s often the only option. If you are medically sensitive with delicate veins, refuse to roll up your sleeve until they confirm they are using the needle of your choice. It’s your medical right!
Went down to pick up the annual stool testing products, you know the ones that most people use every year? Anyway, there are 2 receptionists sitting behind a desk who are not at all busy, but are totally clueless about it. The only person who can help me is the person drawing blood, who has a waiting list. Seriously, this is a bag with a few inexpensive items in it that are for collecting stool samples. Is there any reason for me to wait in line to ask the busiest person, with a line of people waiting, for a pre- prepared bag of sampling products, instead of getting them from the receptionist? Sure, if I have questions, I would understand waiting, but otherwise please respect my time.
Awkward reception interaction, but the actual process of drawing blood was simple. My first arm didnt get anything so when I started feeling faint they placed a cool towel on the back of my head and were very considerate.

I had a blood draw. Upon arrival, they had my order on computer. Everything went downhill from there. They tried printing twice and it never came through. Made phone call to main office 300 miles away to figure out how to get it. Well fax it main office said. They tried 3 times and no success 😒 Well, lets draw blood anyway. Darn did it hurt. Applied bandage...I never bleed...next thing I know, its through the bandage and heading down my arm. Asked to come back, which I did. Closed for lunch. Returned a 2nd time and they finally had the paperwork. Will I use this lab again? Never!

WARNING if you are a cash pay customer DO NOT believe the quotes you get from Interpath labs. The location on Embrey in NW misquoted me $35 for a lab that is now costing me over $600. Management and employees take no responsibility and “sorry” doesn’t pay the bill. Find a different lab.
