All round excellent practice. The front office is efficient and friendly. The dental techs are caring and skilled. The dentists are real pros. Ive been going there for 6 years and always had top notch service. Im very grateful that they are still able to make their services available during these times of pandemic.

This is a family operation. If you wish to see a quiet, dark and comfy dentist, you will find one. If you wish one that has laughter, friendly chatter, great cooperation and concern for each other this is the place. Professional, friendly, bright and cheerful. They all look after each other and help each other in a spirit of common good and success. Open, bright and can I say, fun?

My partner is a disabled Navy vet, and they were so kind and understanding of his needs. They worked with us and made him feel supported and appreciated. The staff are wonderful and caring, and they do great work. My mom is a dental hygienist, so Im picky about who I see. I cant recommend them enough.

After recently moving I was in desperate need of a local dentist for an emergency and the staff at Barkley Village was very kind in seeing me for a same-day appointment to start addressing my problems. Ive had many poor dental experiences in my history and need some special accommodations but the BVFD team was very kind and communication was clear and compassionate, easing my stress. Everything in the office and was well organized for covid protocols and safety and I never had any extra stress due to current circumstances. I wont say Im looking forward to the further work I need to have done, but Im no longer dreading it as I have in the past and thats a very big thing for me. Thank you BVFD.

Everyone there is great! They are gentle in cleaning my sensitive teeth, and check in during procedures to make sure I’m doing ok. They are great with our kids as well. I’d recommend to anyone for cleaning or procedures

Tried to become a new patient , but I guess I didn’t meet the qualifications to be a patient at this dental office . I get covid is an issue . But what’s the point of having dental insurance if your office only accept referrals from the dentist themselves or staff.

First time at this dentist. Very efficient and the hygienist was really good - very gentle and professional. Unfortunately I did have a cavity that got missed by my old dentist so it was pretty large. Dr Rogers carefully removed it and was able to save the tooth. She was super efficient and fast. I had a great experience and am relieved with my choice to change dentists to Barkley Village Family Dentistry. Its now the day after and my mouth feels normal with no discomfort. Many thanks to Dr Rogers and her great staff!

As always, the Dentists and Hygienists performed in a professional manner instilling confidence and a relaxed atmosphere for conservative approach treatment. The final results have been well above average. Additionally, their office staff is efficient, friendly, and accommodating. Overall, a positive experience.

I was so happy to find Barclay Village Family Dentistry so close to home. The bonus has been the best dental hygienist I have ever been to and that is Kathy! Dr. Rodgers is outstanding. Dr. Swanson is always friendly and competent. Although I used to fear the dentist office, I no longer have fear thanks to their friendliness and emphasis on comfort.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Swanson and Dr. Rogers for many years. Both dentists and the entire staff, including reception and accounting, are terrific and have been extremely helpful and courteous every time! Even our youngest son (8) willingly goes to our appointments and enjoys a gift from the treasure chest at the end of the visit. Office is very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this dentistry to anyone!

I just transferred care to this office and have had a very positive experience so far. Reception worked with me to get me in quickly for my crown. Dr. Rogers and her team were professional and made me feel comfortable during my procedure.

I recently switched to this office and am very impressed. I had a limited amount of time and they put in the effort to get me out in time for my next appointment.The staff were all very friendly and they were able to work me in with my busy schedule. On Wednesdays they open extra early so you can get in and out before work.I currently dont have dental insurance and their prices are much better than my previous dentist.

As always you were most helpful...I came for a cleaning and was served quickly and then treated gently. You always take the time to listen carefully to my requests and work to do what is appropriate for my dental care. Thank you for remaining thrifty in planning my care and doing what I need not a thing that is unnecessary. However, WE DO keep an eye on this old mouth! :-)

As usual upon being at Barkley Family Dentistry, for whatever reason, I was treated with genuine professionalism and excellent care. Dr. Swanson is the best dentist I have ever experienced. His work is first rate and the staff are friendly and professional. The broken filling in my front tooth was repaired beautifully and thoroughly. I have full trust in this office.

My husband and I recently moved to Bellingham from Minneapolis. Not having a contact or recommendation for a dentistry practice, we did a little research and decided to try the Barkley Village Family Dentistry. We are so glad we did! We have found our new home for all our dental needs. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and professional. We immediately felt at ease. Our hygienist did a great job with both my husband and me. I havent had a more thorough cleaning ever! Dr. Rogers was great, too.

I never leave reviews but I am appalled on how I was treated by the staff here!I called a few days ago to schedule a cleaning as a new patient and they said they would call me back due to the lack of staff but I never received a call back. Days later I call and the lady who answered was SO rude & snippy with me. She explained she was covering the front desk but had to “hang up” when someone walked in, as if I wasn’t an important future client. She was very rushed and didn’t seem to care about my call at ALL. I said that I’ll just go somewhere else because they seemed preoccupied & I wasn’t feeling valued. She very aggressively said she was “taking care of other patients” and HUNG UP before I had a chance to respond. I have NEVER been treated this horribly by any other dentist. I would avoid if I were you.

I have been a patient here for several years and had two implant crowns installed yesterday.....love them! Drs Rogers and Swanson are excellent dentists and the staff at Barkley Village Family Dentistry is efficient and friendly....highly recommend!! Jim Grabicki

After 15 years without seeing a dentist, this was a pleasant surprise. I was impressed by both the efficiency and the individualized treatment. All staff I encountered were friendly and looked happy in their work.

I phoned and got an appointment with Dr. Swanson within a few days. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff and seated in less than 10 minutes. Dr. Swanson was pleasantly professional, analyzed my problem, provided an instant, short-term remedy, and offered three possible long-term solutions with ball-park cost estimates. This allowed me to make an immediate decision and request a recommendation. His staff called to make an appointment for me with the recommended specialist, and I walked out a few minutes later having accomplished more to solve my problem in half an hour than I had managed to do with three previous dentists over the past year. Definitely five stars.

My new hygienist is professional and sweet . She sincerely and honestly told me which area I had neglect with brushing. I was in the dental professional field for decades so far she is the only hygienist didnt compliment my teeth but give me an advise. Its just me, I like to hear the truth and I appreciate nice dental work. A year today my hygienist is on her honeymoon leave. Congratulations to her ! Today I had a different hygienist , surprisely he did a very good prophy on me as well; thorough, gentle , neat and thoughtfulness with his verbal instructions throughout the cleaning process. Nice bunch of dental hygienists are working there!

This was my 2nd appointment here. This one was for a cleaning. The first was for an initial exam and x-rays. At both appointments, I was greeted in a professional and friendly fashion. I was escorted to the exam in a timely fashion ( I really appreciate timeliness in appointments). Everyone I came in contact with were awesome. Thank you!!

Ive been a patient for years and have always had great experiences. The billing staff and reception staff are friendly and helpful. Appointments are available at all kinds of times. I recently started taking my 6 and 8 yr olds because of frustration with their pediatric dentist and I am SO glad I brought them here. The kids love the hygienists and Dr. Swanson has been amazing. Reasonable approach to cavities and fillings for kids. Treat me like a part of the decision making team (as it should be).

I had a toothache over the weekend which wasnt getting better. I called the office Monday morning and was given an appointment that afternoon. The technician examined me, including an X-ray of the painful area. Doctor Swanson examined me and the X-ray and concluded that my nerve had died allowing an infection to set in which was causing the pain. He helped me setup an appointment the best endodontist in town for the following Monday (the infection had to be cured before performing a root canal to solve my problem.I was very pleased with how fast and easy it was to get into the doctors office, the professionalism of the dentist and staff, and their assistance in getting an appointment for the root canal.

I have never had a bad experience here, always in on time. Well balanced with skillful people that are super kind.
