This is the finest Dentist Office Ive been to my entire life. Im nearing forty now and going to the dentist has usually been an affair of mixed blessings for me. While always immensely grateful for dental difficulties to be worked on and repaired, I never could tell if Id be silently weeping through the procedures and afterwards or if Id be alright. The staff here is phenomenal! Dr. Kavanagh is verily the best dentist Ive ever had the pleasure to be assisted by, His skill is definitely head and shoulders above all others Ive previously been worked on by. I went into Bellingham Smiles for the first time for a teeth whitening. I was so glad Morgan was there when I went in. She explained everything in great detail, throughout the entire process. People like her make customers want to return. Thanks for the great results and also taking the extra time to explain everything from how sensitivity works to checking in on me often.

The staff is always so welcoming and friendly and puts any dental anxiety I have at ease. They know their stuff and get what I need done without trying to sell me a bunch of extra work I dont need. A really great experience every time!

BEWARE ... Very Unhappy with this Company, as they have been Horrible in resolving multiple defective product Warranty Issues. (see photos of warranty issue in 2020, and 2019)BEWARE ... Same Repeated Issues, and their billing dept tried billing me for warranty repairs, when I had current warranty in writing with the company. Owner is nice, but staff is very slow to respond to specific questions, as to why and how this repeated issue will be resolved. To date I have had no response to this after aprox 2-months of waiting for warranty repair to be resolved.

Wonderful staff. Dr Cavanaugh was great and explained everything to me. Showed me issues my teeth could have, also corrected a bite problem I wasnt aware of.If the xray computer would of been working properly I would of given 5 stars. Theyre switching over to a new system, which caused a serious download lag.

Smiles Family Dentistry is absolutely AMAZING. Dr. Kavanagh and his team stepped up and took me in for an emergency call from the VA. Im a 100% disabled Vet and had crown needing an emergency root canal. I was treated with kit gloves from the time I walked in the door. They have a customer for life.

I have had lots and lots of dental work done over the years and have been fortunate to have excellent dentists. We just moved here about a year about and I am so glad we were recommended to him. He is great. As good as any that I have had in the past.Today was my first cleaning by the hygienist. Also excellent.

Just had a crown put in. Dr.Kavanaugh and the dental assistant did a wonderful job of fitting and placing the crown. I’m pretty new to this clinic and so far I’m quite pleased with all the staff.👍😊

The staff is professional and always work with you to get you in. I brought my son in today and the hygienist Kaleigh did an excellent job with him. She was patient and kind and made him completely comfortable even though he has had previous bad experiences and was very nervous. I would highly recommend them!

In my younger adult life I took really poor care of myself which lead to me needing a lot of dental work done for me now. Bellingham smiles has been patient and understanding with me as I try to get back to a clean bill of oral health. Absolutely the best! I went to Bellingham Smiles to inquire about Fast Braces in August 2016. I met with Dr. Kavanagh & the office manager. They explained the process in detail & they didnt try to rush me into a decision. They were professional & answered all my questions.Over the last several months as I have gone through the process, I have interacted with many of the staff members. They are all super nice! Even though I live 45 minutes away, I have chosen to keep Bellingham Smiles as my normal dentist after I get the Fast Braces off.I would recommend Bellingham Smiles to anyone!

I found this dental clinic just by chance on after breaking my infected tooth the night before at 2am and could not have had a better experience! Im not a fan of an doctors office particularly dental clinics but everyone was incredibly kind and helpful! They got me in immediately and were able to remove the tooth and fit me for a flipper that day. The dentist was warm and informed me of my opions making me feel surprisingly comfortable while treating me. I find it unfortunately all too rare in the medical industry to be talked down to and treated as though Im a moron but thank goodness that the case here. The staff was superb and made every attempt to make me as comfortable as possible as well as give me the best care at the best price they could. I would absolutely highly recommend this place and I will personally never go anywhere else from now on!

I have been going for about six months for dental care and have seen actual improvement in the health of my teeth. The hygienists use a chart to track your gum health which is helpful to determine your more difficult areas. The staff is friendly and very willing to assist in any way possible to make the appointment easier. Additionally, I love the text and email reminders!.

Dr Prager is a awesome dentist he is very forward and likes to give the best care for the best patient outcome. My experience at Bellingham Smiles was beyond my grandest expectations. I live in Canada and had an emergency of sorts because my tooth had fallenl out and I had to work for 2 days in Bellingham. Bellingham Smiles was recommended by a nearby denturist. The staff set up an appointment within hours, and Dr. Kavanagh was superb and refit my tooth better than it had been in the past. He took time to do it carefully and correctly.And my tooth is still in!

I went in yesterday with extreme tooth pain. ended up needed a root canal on number 30. Not only did I feel like my time mattered I felt like family. The staff is amazing. Going back Monday to finish the job and get the crown put on. The fact I can work without being in extreme agony is amazing. If your looking for a place that makes you feel they value you not your money go to Bellingham Smiles. Couldnt be happier and will be a long time client for years to come.

Apparently my original call didnt get switched to the after hours phone, but there is someone on call during the weekends. He dropped what he was doing to help me with my dental emergency -- this guy really cares about his practice. I left the original review below, but updated to a 5 star review.The staff was very friendly and helpful at Bellingham Smiles. They got me in pretty quickly for my dental work, and even texted out reminders of upcoming appointments. My issue with this office is that theyre not open on Fridays and dont have any sort of emergency or after hours contact.I have a temporary crown that broke and fell off Friday morning. I was warned that other patients had problems with their temporary crown coming off when eating food like grilled cheese sandwiches, but shouldnt really be an issue once the cement is fully set -- mine came off after taking a bite of a bagel a few weeks after having it placed. I called and emailed to no avail, and ultimately had to call another dentist to ask what I should do. They told me I should contact my dentists emergency line -- Bellingham Smiles does not seem to have an emergency line. I will probably be looking for a more dedicated dental practice because suffering for 4 full days with a sensitive tooth is not a good situation to be in. Im afraid that my tooth will be really messed up when they finally get back to me.Summary: Good staff, good service, bad hours and no emergency support. You will probably want a dentist that wont leave you in a bad situation for 3-4 days should an emergency arise on a Friday.

Best hygiene I have ever received! We were late, Emily was so accommodating not rushing us through paperwork needed, very pleasant lady! Both mine and my husband’s hygienists were very thorough and it is truly the best cleaning I have ever had! Dr Kavanagh saw right away what had been previously diagnosed by 2 other dentists in the last 2 years and was able to fully explain what was going on with my xrays that 2 other Drs were just watching to see what happens! Loved his demeanor and chairside manner, very thorough! We have found our new family Dentist Clinic!I’ll add to our review after the last year’s review above and as we are now experiencing Covid-19, this is such a professional up to date group keeping on top of the latest technologies and yet sticking to practices that just work! We are so very pleased with this amazing team of professionals!
