Not having much money or any insurance i went in for cheap glasses and eye exam for $70. With upgraded lenses on one pair of glasses I walked out paying $240+ . Come to find out the prescription is absolutely wrong in one eye (if not both) ! Now they want to charge me for an eye exam and new lenses. So I get to wait a couple weeks tilI get paid again. Im not happy about being charged for what I feel like is their mistake. Especially given my unfortunate financial situation. Very unlikely I will be back . And having read so many bad customer service reviews Id suggest addressing that! I personally didnt have any real complaints but they absolutely lacked a bit of professionalism when talking in front of customers.

Always a nice experience. The optometrist seems to care more than any I have seen before, she really took great care of my husband and his contact issues. She explained some health issues to me about mine. No one has done that before. So much better than Costco. I worked with Ryan and he was so fun. We had a great time picking out glasses and lenses. He explained everything I needed to know and I am happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend.

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I was looking for an office that was open a bit later since I work 8-5 every day, they were one of the only eye clinics that are open in the evenings, and they had appointments very soon, so I scheduled with them. After scheduling, I started reading some of the reviews and was a bit nervous because some people had bad experiences. However there were enough good reviews that I decided to keep my appointment and give it a try since the pricing was so good and I was able to get in soon. SO GLAD I DID! I had a wonderful experience, all the staff were friendly even tough they were very busy they still gave me time and care I needed. Connie and another one of the gals (I did not catch her name) helped me! The Dr. was also very thorough and knowledgeable. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I started going to this place when I moved here three years ago, I’ve bought four pairs of glasses all of which weren’t really good quality, The last pair I had I bought in August with a warranty I had to bring back because the lenses developed a weird film on them and made them unwearable, I picked up the new pair on 3/09 it’s now 3/15 and the lenses already have scratches on them. I’ve been wearing glasses all my life and I’ve held on to some pairs for years. But since going here none of the glasses I’ve purchased have made it even close to a year. The customer service is great super helpful but the lense/frame Quality is extremely poor.

My one star is 100% customer service. The glasses and contacts are fabulous. The customer service is more 0 stars. Never going back there based just on how I was treated. Id rather give hundreds of dollars to nice people, who appreciate it then to people who act really annoyed by the fact that you simply walked in the door or called their business.

I would not recommend this place to get your contact/glasses prescription updated. I chose this place because they had lots of availability but now I understand why- no one wants to make an appt here.I was given someone else’s prescription upon leaving and did not realize it until I received my glasses and they were painful for my eyes. I called America’s best and the lady who answered was unhelpful and at times rude. Finally a day later the doctor called me and told me that they had given me the wrong prescription. He was very unclear in his explanation and again unhelpful. I am going to solve the issue on my own now, but save yourself the trouble and do not visit this place.

Very helpful staff. I’ve been coming here for a few years and have never been disappointed. Tonight, I picked up my replacement glasses and the technician (I didn’t get his name) went above and beyond to help me and also fix my other glasses. Highly recommend this place!

Woman who helped me said her name was Courtney, was so rude! First I walk in to a very overwhelmed woman who was trying to help customers both in the store and on the phone. Another woman (Courtney) walked by and the woman asked for help. Her response was I still have two minutes on my break. She came back 30 seconds later and began to help me This was my first time ever purchasing a pair of glasses so I had lots of questions, and needed to try multiple pairs on.. She definitely did not like all my questions, or thats how it felt anyways. I had two pairs of glasses I really wanted both about $200 I had been talking to another customer about her opinion on my glasses since she was more kind and helpful. I moved my mask down so the customer could give me a good recommendation on glasses..finally this is what did it Courtney Looked at me and said maam if you are going to move your mask you need to be 6ft away its the law It really isnt what she said its how she said it and how it made me feel, so I told her ID be taking my business elsewhere and that it was because she was very rude. She had the audacity to say I hope you have a better day I had a GREAT day, but Courtney I hope you have a better day. I recommend you go to everything in site on Cornwall because their customer service is stellar, and the prices are great! I found a wonderful pair of glasses and the staff made me feel welcomed and valued me as a customer.

My teenage daughter and I had appointments yesterday after visiting a less than average eye doctor in a neighboring town. From the second I called I could tell I made the right choice. The receptionist was amazing and booked us quickly and sent forms online to fill out to limit time in the office due to covid. There were temperature checks upon arrival and plenty of space to safely look for eyewear while social distancing. Every single person was friendly and helpful. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and I really appreciated that. They even helped me with my broken glasses while I wait on my new pairs to come in🙌🏼. We will definitely be coming back.

I had my very first appointment there today! Everyone was very nice to me. The Dr wasnt as nice but he wasnt rude either. I think he was just busy and didnt have time for questions and talked very fast. I got 2 pairs of glasses with scratch protection for under $100. I dont think you can beat that! Id visit again for future appointments.

My appointment at Americas Best was quick and simple. All of the staff were very friendly and able to answer any questions that I had. Their eyecare club is an incredible option for those like me without vision insurance. Very affordable prices and kind and professional employees.

Their customer service is terrible. I ordered two pairs of glasses. They messed up on the order for the safetyglasses, didn’t tell me until I showed up. I had to wait another week. They never notified me when my glasseswere in - had to call them. The quality of the regular pair of glasses was poor. Lots of distortion. Don’t buyFrom them. Just bought another pair from Costco. Great service and much better quality!

For having the best prices in town you could probably forgive them if their customer service wasn’t stellar. However, in my experience everyone (except maybe the front desk) has been incredibly helpful, easy-going, and kind.

They are terrible with communication. i have left 2 messages requesting a call back during office hours to see if my glasses are in. i have yet to hear from them. very disappointing. also, this site will not allow you to give them one star. your first choice for giving a poor rating is a 2. shame on you

Prices are amazing. They also have a good selection of glasses.I scheduled an appointment online, so that was easy enough.When I got there for my appointment, I got right back with a really nice gal. Then when she was done I waited for the doctor. And boy did I wait. I finally had to go up front and ask what was going on.One lady went and knocked on the door, they could tell I was not happy, and I was then back with the doctor in minutes.So I think that was nice of them!As of right now, I will continue to do business and recommend this location!

I went in for an exam and to order glasses, first attempt was terrible so they re-examined my eyes and ordered me new ones. They were a little bit better but, honestly, I can see better without them. Do yourself a favor and go to a real optometrist.

I 100% recommend this location. The staff were friendly, patient, and understanding. The doctor made me feel comfortable, and answered my questions fully. And the price cant be beat. I was able to obtain two pair of bifocals even on my budget.

Hello I went to get glasses. I didnt have insurance so paid out of pocket. It was not $69 for 2 pair like led to believe. They only had one pair of frames that I liked so I only got 1 pair. I was told 2 weeks. On the 15th day they called asking for my address so they could send them to me. If anybody out there really needs glasses like I do I would advise you go somewhere else unless willing to wait.

Very unfortunate experience..The current doc hurried my exam along and showed no real care during the exam, then pushed progressive lenses (bifocals) on me - I am much too young to need these (confirmed by another eye doc). My prescription came in and I couldnt see anything. I wear my glasses 24/7, very blind, and could not read anything or see- I went back for a 2nd exam- same thing, hurried along. This time I was told Id just have to wear 2 different kinds of glasses, recieved one pair of bifocals AGAIN and told to just deal with it. When I explained to the person helping me that the doctor hurried me and wasnt very nice, it was brushed off, oh shes just weird like that. She sees a lot of people in a day. Again, I couldnt see well out of the next pair and ended up seeing double by the end of the first night. I ended up returning the glasses for a full refund. I went to Vision Plus on James instead and had a WONDERFUL experience w caring/knowledgeable staff who got me glasses that I love.

Called to get information about the Eyecare Club $99 3 year eye exam contact program but will not be coming here because of the customer service I received over the phone. After asking the employee some questions I could tell they were getting frustrated because she kept talking over me. I was simply trying to get answers to question I didn’t know as I am not too familiar with contacts/glasses because my parents have dealt with most of it for me. But me asking a few questions was apparently enough to get upset with me. After hearing this person talk over me and getting the response “roger roger” in a very sarcastic manner as if I was stupid for asking, I hung up. I’d recommend staying away from this place based off of the receptionist alone. Can’t imagine what they do to customers they don’t like...

I drive a log truck and between dust dirt mud and snow Im really hard on glasses. They got a one year warranty on frames and lenses. I called to get my lenses changed and I was two days past my one year and there still going to do it. Thank you😎

Used to be good Custer service but when the two employees there are to busy discussing what kind of computer or tablet to buy, instead of assisting the only customers in the whole store. Would have recommend them before this but not anymore. I used them all the time before this.

They called me in for pickup when my contacts were ready but when I got there they told me that they forgot to schedule a training class to learn about the contacts. So I left without the contacts, with an appointment.They never notified me when my glasses came in, I had to go down in person while they searched through the piles because calling them about it failed.They cancelled my contact appointment twice, only 30 minutes beforehand when I live 40 minutes away.Then when the contacts were the wrong prescription and had to be redone, they forgot to order them and didnt realize their mistake until 3 weeks later when I called them to see if they were finally ready.They wont give me my contact prescription until I come in for another 2 appointments. One to pick them up and another follow up to check the prescription.Theyve acted like it is what it is and have been baffled by my frustration. Though its completely in their control to be better at customer service and communication.Im ready to say forget it, I give up. But I think the refund process would be just as frustrating!2 months since my first appointment and still no contacts. Great prices, awful customer service....

I love Americas best, but the man who was fixing my glasses would not listen to me when i said i want them tighter so they wouldnt slide down my nose. Here i am, half an hour later, and im pushing my glasses up again because he wanted to be rude and try to tell me how to wear my glasses. The way he wanted me to wear them, it would have been pressing up against my eyes. I get that hes trained in this type of thing, but not everyones head is shaped the same way.

A week and a half ago I went and had my eyes examined, which went very well and everyone was very nice. When I was going in I was under the influence I could walk out spending only $70 for two pairs of glasses, but I noticed that’s hard to do. I found two pairs of glasses for $104 but I did have to pay extra for the Anti-reflective coating since I have a stigmatism in one of my eyes, so it’s pretty hard to get that original price that is advertised, which is fine in my opinion! Just picked up both my pairs today and I’m happy! They’re better quality than my Zenni’s and the fact I can go in person is a plus!

Very good - Helpful staff & great pricesMy only issue was that they were have internet was down so they were not able to process my order. they said they will call as soon as it is working. good new is i have not paid yet. bad news is I feel like it will take longer to get my glasses . I had the pleasure of experiencing the worst customer service in my entire life!! From the Manager Vicky yelling and raising her tone, to the Optical Assistant who rudely halted assisting me without addressing me, to the snide boy like receptionist with snarky comments.I will never go back to that location ever!! I usually do not say race was an issue but it definitely felt like it. Mind you my fiance and 5 month old were present and witnessed everything! To be so mistreated, disrespected, ignored, and humiliated would be an under statement. A complaint has been filed with the corporate office.Apparently people with such small mindsets and with such a horrible outlook on life and treatment of people can make it to a position of authority is mind boggling. Out of my 15 + years of customer service and management would I EVER treat any person the way that I have been so wrongly treated.They did not want to do their job in any way shape or form. Im hoping there is a proper training in customer service and the staff is reprimanded for their actions. In my eyes they should not have the privilege to work at that store.They simply ASSumed that I was another ignorant female minority who would not speak up. Guess again! Im not from Washington in from California and we are educated and will always do something about the neglect, abuse, and mistreatment of others and ourselves. I felt assaulted and will never forget this experience. Vicky is not conducive to creating business for this company. HIPPA violations left and right.

Lol! I ordered glasses way back in 2019 never got a call for them and Everytime I called they said still in process this was almost a year ago. I just received a phone call saying my glasses were in. I laughed at the girl and said I ordered those almost a year ago and I finally got a call back she said what do you mean I explained it to her and she looked agian and said oh wow this was in 2019 Im so sorry I said no problem have a great day.

Ive been a Americas Best customer for 6 years. Im from Surfside Beach South Carolina and here visiting my daughter. Realized Im due for a eye exam so I made an appointment here in Bellingham. My experience was the best Ive ever had. 10 minutes the max I waited, very nice and mostly very professional, in and out within a hour. They ordered my contacts and I received them less than a week. I normally dont give 5 star for anything but they deserve it. I was treated with respect. Thanks Bellingham Americas Best.

Horrible. Am absolutely done trying to work with this company. All of the downsides of a corporate business, none of the benefits. Lost my business for good. I understand businesses having unexpected problems, but for a company this size to be unable to cover them for this long is unacceptable. Got immediate service at a competitor who was also willing to give a discount to ean my business. So long Americas Worst.

I am very unhappy with our experience. The doctor was very nice and perfessional but, the staff that stands behind her is very very rude and horrible customer service! I live 45 minutes away from this store. They never gave us a copy of our prescription. We have been trying for months to get one without having to make the trip to Bellingham. Talked with a very rude women today who could not even find us in her files and had to go dig around and see what she could scrounge up Great you lost our medical private recordes or miss placed them? Great... She did find them and made sure she told me serveral times that they had sent it... they have not. Anyway we will never go back to the Bellingham location. Do not waste your time make the trip to go elsewhere. The only reason for a 2 star and not a 1 is the doctor does not deserve a poor review. Matthew I must have had the same lady you did. I was a problem, not a customer with a problem that needed to be helped.
