I checked out downtown sounds. It was great. Plenty of free parking nearby. Lots of cool stuff to do. Great music. I recommend it as a nice thing to do on a summer evening.

Attended Downtown Sounds this evening. The Downtown Partnership closed down Bay Street in front of the Bayou Restaurant, Woods and the Pickford on Summer Wednesday Evening to host a couple of bands and attract the community downtown!Tonight we listened to the vibes of Motus, a hot Seattle Band featuring (almost) Western Journalism grad (and Music Minor), Rebekah Way on Sax!

Great team focused on developing the core downtown of Bellingham. Excellent resources.

Wow its been 38 years since I have been here and the place brought back so many good memories

Quirky old town area, with some awesome unique businesses. Some empty stores. But do check out Mallards (handmade local ice cream), Baglery (bagels, eggs, coffee), Avenue Bread (sandwiches and soup), Looking Glass Salon (haircut), WECU (banking needs), Allied Arts of Whatcom County (local art and artisans ), and many others...

Great fun. It was hard to leave. Parking near by.

Cool place with a public market good prices and lots of locals. Mini crafts are available and the Farmers Market has a large variety of local vegetables and fruits
