Comments on Dr Michael L Gilbert for cataract surgery. After just having both eyes worked on for cataracts, I could only say the results were miraculous. Even though you may hear that you will see better afterwards, you have no baseline to compare to until you have at least the first eye done where you can then look through one eye and then the other. The improvement in vision is mind blowing and you can thank technological advances to allow this to happen. But what is equally important is who implements the technology. There are many doctors who are probably very competent and some not so competent. But since you only have two eyes which are very delicate, you want to trust them with someone you can have total confidence in. My recommendation is to trust your eyes to Dr Michael L Gilbert for an absolutely great experience. He is a professional, knows what he is doing and has a well established track record of successes. He’ll tell you what to expect before and after the surgery, answer your questions, and most importantly, perform the surgery in the most efficient way possible. What seems like a somewhat terrifying ordeal to go through for yours eyes was a super efficient simple process with awesome results.

Dr. Gilbert and his team are superb. From the beginning to the end of my cataract surgery, I was taken care of by competent, efficient, and caring professionals. The surgery went off like clockwork, and I was made to feel very comfortable at all times. I cannot recommend Dr. Gilbert and his staff more highly!

I have been trying to get my medication renewed that I was told is extremely important for me to use everyday . The pharmacy membership services used by my insurance wants to substitute a generic. For months I have been getting messages-we have reached out to your service and cannot connect. I hear from the service-we have tried reaching the office but we have not been able to connect with anyone. Tired of the run around. My eyesight should be what is important. Time for a new Doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gilberts for more than a decade. After discussing lens replacement surgery to correct my astigmatism, I recently had my right and then 2 weeks later, my left eye done. The procedure is simple and the results are amazing. Dr. Gilbert explained the procedure thoroughly, and performed the surgery perfectly, and called me the night of the surgery to check on my personally. I cannot speak too highly of the his professionalism. The staff is also top notch -- attentive, responsive and professional.

I was very apprehensive as I only have one good eye. Dr. Gilbert and staff were fantastic at reassuring me and taking me through it. Wonderful. The surgery was done to perfection and the follow up has been great. On to the other eye to do as well as they can and i have complete faith in them and Dr. Gilbert. My husband and I had appointments 15 minutes apart and our exam experience was excellent. The office holidays decorations were beautiful, warm and welcoming. The automated check in system was progressive. The staff was great and walked us through the pre exam checks. Dr. Gilbert was fabulous, patient and explained every aspect of our eye exam and remedy. Ive had cataract surgery at Northwest Vision from Dr. Michael Gilbert. This was just a precision run experience from the initial check up to the post op appointment. When I woke up from my first eye surgery, I was able to see without corrective lens for the first time since kindergarten. The second eye was done a week later and now I feel like a teenager with excellent vision which I never had before. My husband laughs at me when out of habit I try to take my contacts out or find my glasses as they simply are not needed. I told Dr. Gilbert he was magical and I am so appreciative of my new eyes. He is so kind and caring and an excellent listener. You do not feel rushed and he takes the time you need and gives you his full attention. A true professional and expert in his field.I must mention the names of a few outstanding members of his team, all seasoned. Trevor is so knowledgeable and kind and filled me with self assurance on my first visit. Danny and Garett are two of the nicest, caring colleagues that put you at ease because they too are informative and made sure I was comfortable. Then might I add Tawny who is on the surgical side who I claim is going to be my doctor when she finishes medical school. It is not just Dr. Gilbett who is outstanding in his field, it is who he employs to carry on his high standards. I am sorry if I forgot a few names, but I assure you anyone who cares for you on Dr Gilberts team cares and is professional, right down to the ladies at the front desk when you walk in the door. The results from my cataract surgery this month were much better than I expected. I went from severe myopia to near perfect vision overnight. I, or rather, Dr. Gilbert, had a prior vitrectomy, macular pucker and posterior vitreous detachment to contend with, but I am very happy with the results. Dr. Gilbert is a highly skilled, experienced surgeon and he uses all the latest equipment and techniques. His large staff is friendly and competent.

Dr. Gilbert has now removed the cataracts from both my eyes. I couldnt be more pleased. The thought of having my eyes operated on was terrifying, but it turns out its not bad at all. The clinic is so organized and everyone was so pleasant and professional it was relaxing. (Although I did have a valium to help.) Being able to drive in the dark is a huge thing for me and being able to watch TV without glasses is a wonderful bonus. Dr. Gilbert has removed cataracts from my Mom and my sister, too. I cant imagine anyone doing a better job.

This place was recommended to my wife by some friends who have been bringing their whole family for years.The cost was fair and the customer service was excellent. We highly recommend.

The facility and doctors are fine. However, their billing department is the worst. They are completely incapable of handling billing the insurance companies in right order when you have a primary and secondary insurance. I have been visiting this facility for past 6 years and they have got this wrong every single time.

Fantastic doctor! Great staff! Due to a skeletal abnormality of my head (due to traumatic injury), I had given up on glasses since no one could find or make a pair that fit my head. But that has changed now thanks to NW Vision!! Thank you!!!!!!

Ive been coming here for a few years. The techs have always been nice and funny in some cases. I had imagery done of my inner lids this last time so I could see how bad my dry eyes were. Dr Gilbert gave me a regimen of oils to supplement and exercises to help. I recommend this clinic!
