Josh is the best. Before I came to his place, I tried other four chiropractors but none of them can fix my back problems. I only saw Josh twice and my back was like new again. Highly recommended.

I went into Josh with a slight back pain, before ANY treatment, took X-rays and figured out what was wrong, from there we developed a plan to tackle it over time! He values education and helping you understand what went wrong, from there getting you back into the best condition possible! I’ve recommended him to multiple people in my circle and continue to see him, my back has never felt better and I have full confidence with wakeboarding, skiing, off-roading, and any other type of physical activity! I would give Dr. Josh and his team a higher rating if I could! Theyve changed my life. I first met them 4 years ago, when my now husband was going in every few weeks for adjustments and traction. I was instantly drawn in by their professionalism, and yet their warmth and compassion for me even though I wasnt a patient at the time. Around Christmastime, I became a patient and I havent regretted it at all! Ive been seeing Dr. Josh for 3 years now as a patient, and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I suffer from Stage IV Endometriosis, with debilitating lower back contractions, as well as chronic migraines. Ive been to several other chiropractors over the years and always hurt worse after going. Not here though! Josh is gentle and extremely knowledgeable in Chiropractic care that really works. 35 years of chiropractic care thus far on my personal health resume, and Ive had some great docs in the past, so when I arrived with my usual bag of damages, plus a disabling lower back issue, I was hoping at best to be fixed, not impressed. Dr. Josh and his team took a different therapy approach, combining decompression, a variety of effective adjustments, and coaching on how to walk and care for my hurting body in the time between appointments. Im happy to report that my lower back is much better, just like Dr. Josh assured me it could be. I love the jovial, caring , & professional environment at SBC, and I continue to check in periodically for wellness adjustments.

I cannot say enough great things about the Doctors and the INCREDIBLY AWESOME STAFF. I had yell about them. The chiropractic treatment is not your run of the mill type but its very effective. The whole experience has been stellar. The only somewhat improvement that I can point out is massage therapist availability. Marni the Massage therapist is exceptional in her skills and approach. Brendan is a great guy. Jen and Kendall are two of the most positive and pleasant women that I have ever met. Dr. Josh and his crew of professional and friendly staff have worked WONDERS for me; after undergoing treatment on re-aligning my back and neck, my whole body started to change. My acid reflux went away completely, I started to lose weight and keep it off and my energy level increased immensely all because my spine was coming back into its natural alignment properly. I recommend Dr Josh and team and would give 100 stars if I could! From the moment I walked in, I was treated with respect and professional caring. Dr Josh is an excellent communicator, educating us on how to keep our bodies strong and recovering from various problems. I have suffered for most of my adult life with neck, thoracic and lower back pain. Dr Josh not only improved my condition, but I am amazed at how present he is with each patient, giving each the care we need. One older gentleman told me he has gained 2 inches! I gained 1 inch, but more importantly, my pain is gone and strength returned! Traction has been so effective. Also, I dont find traditional manipulation effective on my neck, so Dr Josh always used thetool(cant remember its name) instead of cracking my neck. I trust him implicitly.I love how we are all in one room, and it builds camaraderie among the patients. The office is the most joyful place Ive been to!! Really, the entire staff are treasures!And Jenn is a Licensed Nutritional Therapist. A true Jewel of wisdom. I MISS YOU ALL! Theres no one in my new town like you!!

Coming from a licensed massage therapist, I have found the professionalism, knowledge and quality of care of all the staff at South Bellevue Chiropractic and Massage to be top notch. The approach they have towards chiropractic medicine is the best Ive ever experienced and they have helped me after an injury to be able to return to work and thrive once more. Being one of their patients has also given me a resource to increase my own knowledge and has frankly been worth the disfortune of being injured in the first place. I recommend this office and staff to many of my own clients.

I would rate Dr. Onckens service as the lowest possible rating. I would put zero stars for this place, but it requires one star at the very lowest option. He completely ruined my moms neck. He attempted but failed to crack her neck three times, for three separate visits in one weeks time. Vary hasty, so called chiropractor. From my understanding, it looks like hes making more issues for my mom, instead of helping her. I took her into the urgent care because her pain was radiating from her neck down to her shoulders and back. Also, up into her head. In short, her muscles were sprained from all of his so called corrections. She had to be on a pain medication and muscle relaxer to cope with all the pain that is STILL lasting. It was on the pain level 10/10 for her. She looked almost paralyzed. So, I advise on never booking for Dr. Oncken. Or, do so on your own risk. He obviously is not a professional. Im astonished on how he even got this job. You all need to be very careful.

I must say at the age of 42 now I have had my time in chiropractic offices and this place has be far changed my perspective of back crackers. Josh takes a completely different approach that makes complete sense when he explains why and how to correct the issues I was having. Most offices I have been in try to snow you with a bunch of technical talk so you just go along with it but the adjustments never fix the issue long term, I think this is by design:) This office is big on traction followed by ice which from a medical view this is the way you do it. Other offices adjust you and send you on your way. You cant pop things into place and expect them to stay, traction slowly moves things back into place over time giving you long term results. I can say this because 15 years ago I found a chiropractor that practiced the same thing but 1 year of traction then 15 years of bad habits without maintenance to combat everyday posture has brought me back to an office that does traction.

Oh heck yeah! Josh and his crew have helped me where no one else has been able to. Hes not your typical crack and hope for the best chiropractor. He customizes the treatment based on the problem and goes after the root of the problem to fix it permanently instead of just adjusting so I feel better (temporarily) and keep coming back like the others Ive been to. He really cares and is a problem solver!
