This gym will:- demand a 30 days notice (effectively stealing the last payment for your membership)- charge a cancellation fee equal to 3 months of membership- require you to cancel in-person or by certified mail.even if you move, they will still charge you.With a $22 monthly membership, they will effectively charge you $88 dollars to leave early. Not to mention their annual fee of $40.So, if you wanted to get this membership for 2 months, youre looking at $44+$88+40 = $172To reiterate, they will charge you $172 if you are there for 2 months.In the state of California and other countries, this would be illegal, but its *barely* legal in Illinois.

Belleville location has really gone down hill in last year. The staff turn over is like a constant revolving door. For whatever reason they are unable to keep staff. Was there yesterday and there was one staff working the entire building. No janitorial was being performed, the locker room was a mess. Hope the other 41 area locations are better ran than Belleville?

I’m here from out of town and needed a gym to stay consistent. They offer a one month, no contract membership for $50, which was perfect for me. Great equipment in excellent condition. Disinfectant wipes accessible for self-cleaning and every time I’m there, there’s a man cleaning something the whole time. Plenty of space and I rarely have to wait for a machine. Staff is nice and stay out the way. Office/locker areas smells absolutely amazing, the whole gym smells fresh. I definitely recommend this facility

Not a bad gym at all but they really need to ensure they are keeping homeless folks out of the gym during nighttime (unstaffed) hours.

One of my favorite gyms in the WORLD. When I say this place is clean.....It is spotless! Joe, the general manager, is a wonderful guy! He is always very attentive to customer feedback, and you can tell he truly cares about peoples wellbeing. The equipment is top of the line, and kept in good shape. Anytime I come back to the Saint Louis area I come HERE to work out!

Huge gym with tons of equipment and friendly outgoing staff

I just moved to the area and knew I wanted to sign up with a local gym. The things that were important to me were for it to be in close proximity to my house, for it to be highly rated, and for membership fees not to exceed $20. Good hours/being open 24/7 are of a secondary importance.This gym fit all my criteria but within a couple weeks it has gone above and beyond my expectations. For $20, I feel like Im getting an incredible value. Included in the $20 membership is fitness classes, access to the full gym, a free session with a personal trainer, and tanning.I havent utilized the classes or tanning, but I plan too. This gym also has a protein smoothie bar, a cardio theater, and about any training/weight equipment and free weight system youd need.I have utilized the free personal trainer session and I have since signed up for 20 additional sessions. My experience with my trainer has been beneficial and professional.The entire gym staff seems friendly and the facility is clean. I would definitely recommend this gym.

Ive been going to this gym for years now. Great staff.... Jayme is a great manager who shows love for the community! Amanda is a great greeter and the perfect person to sign you up! All of the trainers are knowledgeable and helpful. I had the pleasure of working with Tyler, one if the personal trainers, he gave great advice and is consistently offering more when asked. There are few others I know very well. Unfortunately I just cant name then at the moment😅. The atmosphere is very diverse and acceptive of types of builds. Enjoy yourself at this wonderful establishment. Im sure youll see me there as well. And Im always willing to help!

This place has been pretty great since I have been here. I came the first week when they opened and I have been treated with great customer service. My trainer has been great to me and the staff in general is so helpful and has worked with me. I highly recommend this place, not to mention the nice new equipment!

I’m surprise of anybody would give this place or any health club less than 5 star. It’s a place you go workout, relax and sweat your and feel good and get fit instead sit home and do nothing or eat junk food. State of the art work out machines, Open 24 hours so no one have any excuses not to go and still some are not happy??Every now and then yes maybe something is not working because we the customers broke it. why anyone won’t be happy I don’t get it. I guess google gyms in the 70s and the 80 and the 90s and see how they looked back then at that time you will apricate what we have now

Great facility with brand new equipment and plenty of options to get a complete workout in no matter who you are. Very spacious, even during peak hours there is plenty of available equipment to go around. Friendly and helpful employees as well, I highly recommend this gym.

I signed up for a membership about a month ago. Lane, the location manager was very prompt in his emails and answered all of my questions. After meeting with Lane later that day, I signed up. The club is very clean and every employee I have interacted with has been friendly. I have taken a few Wednesday classes with Edith and she is awesome! I highly recommend!

Seems like when they open up their O’Fallon club fitness the cleanliness of the restrooms/showers have went downhill .I get there at the crack of dawn so I can work out before I go to work. I saw one of the Personal trainer they didnt even smile nor was welcoming n kept saying no instead of finding a solution,. She said I could work out till 830 till the manager showed up /three hours. . She did not even know a contact number or even try to find one .the gym is nice with new equipment with plenty to offer. Just needs better customer service n care. Instead of saying no to this or tht, proper customer service is hey let me see what I can do or hey u know what, we can do this.... Especially with it being a new place, u want ur guests to come back n share with others goodfeedback...Just saying with 14 years of customer service experience.

This branch of Club Fitness opened today! The staff were welcoming, helpful and excited to be working at a new facility. The equipment is all new and the facility smells like a new car. I love it!

This club is so much better now that the fake jamie and stephanie went to the OFallon location. Other than that I like this gym

This particular club is always clean and has friendly folks there, both the people that work there and the people that work out! Im glad its my home club.

Scammed me...i was a member for years. Then i didnt renew my contract and i cancelled. I seen they were still charging me.... I called was told i had to go in in person to cancel even tho i had moved outta state. I went in twice was told it was done cancelled both times. The lasr time i thought all was ok cause charges stopped. Over a year later now they are trying to sue me turning me over to collections sayin once again i didbt cancel. This should be illegal people need to stand up to them

There was an issue with my account but the General manager fixed it. What I like is seeing is the cleaning people clean! I left Golds after 10 years because nothing was clean, nothing was updated. I see at least 2 people or more literally scrubbing machines, dusting, windexing, sweeping. I love that. I even saw corporate guys basically doing the glove test to machines. Many people have left Golds do to it being filthy. So keep it up CF!I hope to see new equipment added, treadmills being balanced, and a sauna added to the new one in OFallon (add a pool, hot tub, and yoga and youd shut Golds down.) Massage chairs are awesome too btwaStaff seems friendly enough.

Used to frequent the gym in Fairview but since this one is newer and closer I decided to come here with my friend who lives near by and we love it! Ive been a gym goer for a while now while she is brand new to it and we both love it. Since its new, all the machines are new and functioning, come equipped with televisions, and everything is in large supply and good condition. It was pretty crowded when we went late in the evening but we still didnt have to wait for equipment due to the large amount of it. Its very popular probably because it is new. The smoothies are also delicious, and the employees super friendly. The man making our smoothie made sure we tasted it to see if we liked it before we walked out and the one woman handing out free sampled remembered my friend could not have peanut butter and quickly came and reminded the guy making the smoothie. Very awesome environment!! And I think theres a lot of people new to the gym coming by, getting instructions and tours, some people just figuring it out and that makes me happy too. All in all, highly recommend! And get the oreo smoothie!

Had too many issues with my account. Went in to cancel my husband and I membership. Only to find out they did not cancel the whole membership. Then i was told my husband would have to go in his self to cancel when he didnt have to be there in order for them to sign him up and take my payment. Horrible service. I would never recommend this place to anyone..

The employees are very friendly

I really like the gym, but as someone who can only come after hours, there are some parts of my membership I can’t use, like the massage chairs, tanning, etc. If it werent for that it would absolutely be a 5 star establishment.

Bery good gym. Everyone there is friendly and willing to help if asked. Clean. Cant wait for the remodel. But you guys need a decline bench for dumb bells....you could use like 3 more benches period for dumb bells.

Changing review it has become increasingly clear it is okay if equipment sort of works. Have reported recumbent elliptical problems to staff and manager they still do not work properly after several months. It has been at least a month since I reported to staff problem on leg machine it is still broke. After my contract is up. I will pay more and less convenient for equipment that is cared for. Just knocked it down to one star. They can send emails about pet adoption, they can send emails about yoga at wineries, but,cant let you know when they are closed unexpectedly!!! Very poor service to the members.

Very good gym, has all you need to get fit

The Belleville location has unlimited tanning, massage, and circuit classes. For $20 a month I can literally go to any location I want to anytime of day I want to. I only wish I worked out more so I could actually use my membership. Of course that isnt the fault of Club Fitness. Im just lazy LOL. regardless they have a whole bunch of different equipment and personal trainers that you can get in contact with to help you with your body type. TVs everywhere music everywhere smoothies and energy bars protein bars and protein shakes. Basically everything you could ever need to change your body.

Been lied to about my contract this whole time. Was not told about “annual fees” and was told it would be 10 a month not 20. Was also told that the contract was only gonna be a year from the date I signed in February, not from the time the location opened in August!! Avoid club fitness at all costs they will lie and cheat you out of all ur money.

Great location great staff. Lots of cardio machines including cardio theater room.

Can get busy at times but the equipment is nice and theres rarely a wait for what im tryna hit

This is definitely the best Club Fitness on the Illinois side. The only thing they are missing is a sauna.

Has everything a gym needs including tanning and child care. Staff is very friendly, equipment is well maintained, and very clean.

Super annoyed that we were originally told it would be open in June, then June came and went and still nothing....here is it August and I just found out from other people that it opened today. Not a single communication from Club Fitness themselves this entire time!!!!! Super disappointing!!!
