I moved to Texas in 2013 when initially Qualtrust. A CU member since 18 yrs old. Love the service & helpful staff. My adult child suggested it after her move 5 months before me. Last yr opened acct for my working teen & he loves the ease of the app. Recommend teen accounts. No issues πŸ‘Œ

Does Texas Trust ever increase a customers credit limit or does the customer have to always call Texas Trust to request an increase? I have always experienced a financial institution increasing ones credit limit upon good payment history and time, however Texas Trust has not increased my limit from opening the card 16 months ago with no late payments etc. I see other negative reviews where the customer did not receive a credit increase for over 2 years. Compared to my other card offers it appears TTCU is WAY low on limits, like they give you what a high school student with a part time job would receive for a credit limit and never increase said limit EVER. I suppose all the extra savings from TTCU being chintzy are going to recent naming rights so TTCU can place their name on a theater in Grand Prairie Texas.

I have been with this bank for quite some time and to state they are not the best credit union is an understatement. Extremely low initial credit card limit (710 Fico score 8) and the bank has never increased the limit. I was told originally that this is standard practice and limits are increased yearly. Later I was told this was fabricated at sign up. Save yourself some frustration and go to Ft Worth Community Credit Union, much nicer facility, better customer service, less antiquated paperwork and processes, 5 times the credit limit and fixed apr of 9.9%, which is lower than this place offered. Oh and I moved my car loan to them and received a free gas card and much lower apr than Ally. Credit Unions have always been more loyal, offered better rates, and customer centric focused... Texas Trust is just another cheap bank titled as a credit union where the customer is just another number.Just to follow up on the response below from Texas Trust. I did call number provided and it was not any sort of customer retention or communication/marketing contact. It was simply a generic number in which the person who answered was bewildered why I was told to call. Then I was placed on hold for over 16 minutes and I finally hung up. Thank you for reaffirming my point.

I went into the Bedford TTCU to change my account, and after I left and was at my front door, the associate called me to return & sign forgotten forms. When I returned & corrected multiple errors on the printed pages, it took him f-o-r-e-v-e-r to redo them...(he liked to argue). Then, when he handed me the corrected copies, I found some of the same errors I corrected on the first copy. He got huffy when I had to keep telling him what to put where and how to spell it. I told him I was frustrated and unhappy with the process. As I was leaving he was obviously not happy...and neither was I. MY ADVICE: Avoid the Bedford store.

Worst bank ever first of all shouldnt let the card overdraft no more than 100 but somehow got over draft 500 they said they couldnt do anything about it and then another 90 fee overdraft which was less then 12hrs but shouldnt charge it within 24hrs anyways a fee is just 30 and also they couldnt do anything about it, so I do not recommend this place at all. They just want your money and thats all they care about. Not to mention some how it charged the old card which havent had in 2 months because it wasnt working so I been having a new one with different info on it. Apparently what they said its unfortunate.

Didnt have any accounts with them. Just walked in bc my sister recommended them. We were in search of a loan for a travel trailer to live in full time. We got approved for it with some work. They did such great work I changed ALLL my accounts to Texas trust. now we have a travel trailer, 2019 truck and a credit card with Texas trust. Rachel and Tyler are amazing but honestly you cant go wrong with any one there. They work hard for you and if they cant do something they explain why and how to correct it. They are amazing!!!

This place used to be Qualtrust Credit Union. Texas Trust took over, lied to members and lied to employees. Now this location has gone down hill. And a federal employment lawsuit and investigation is in the works. Found all this out after Arlington location butchered my loan. Came to this location and couldn’t get waited on. Only one person in entire building behind the teller line. Shame on them!

Great and friendly customer service. I opened my account a few months ago and I got there right before they closed because of my schedule, very nice and personable people, even though I know they wanted to get out of there. I wish you could do deposits in the ATMs but I love my account.

This place is definitely not where you want to go for loans.I have a near perfect credit score and make 85k annually with no debt and no history’s of missed payments. I went in to get Car financing for 20k and encountered one of the most infuriating experiences ever. I told them I was on a time constraint. I provided everything they asked of me. The lady was nice enough to talk with, but when she sent it to their under writers they denied it. Frustrating, but I guess they saw me as young and didn’t want to assist. So I get my dad to co-sign the loan. Now, he is self employed and has owned a few businesses for about 30 years. He hasn’t managed multiple million+ dollar loans with absolutely no issue; and has a consistent income that would place him in the highest bracket. He showed his proof of income in the form of tax returns over a 3 year period. Again, the under writers get his information and they turned him down! It was almost laughable if it wasn’t so insanely frustrating. Now at this point I’ve wasted the better part of a day deaing with this bloated bureaucratic excuse of an organization. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after they said the application would be escalated (to someone who actually knows what they’re doing). The lady says she will reach out to me as soon as she gets back.So Monday rolls around and I wait until 9:00 am to call in. To no surprise, they have an extremely annoying automated system that wastes 5 minutes explaining the menu. I finally get in contact with an actual human and they say no one is in and They’ll take a message. An hour passed and no answer (keep in mind I am on a time restraint for the car because it will sell quickly). I decide to call again and after sitting through the frustrating menu a second time, I get connected to another employee. I explain the situation and she says she’ll get in touch. This happens 3 more times and I’m explaining that I need to talk to the person I had originally dealt with in hopes that I wont have to explain my situation for a 5th time and finally she calls me. She says she’ll reach out to me once she gets more info. I call back, no answer. Call again later, and again no answer. At this point I am fed up. I contact my bank and set up an appointment. Within 20 minutes of me shaking his hand I am approved. It really shed light on the incompetency of Texas trust and how horribly it is ran.Moral of the story: save yourself the head ache and avoid this institution altogether.

Never ever ever use this group. Especially for car loans. If you use D&M - STAY AWAY. Rude and unethical. How can they stay in business like this.
