Dr. Grasvik poached me from gentle dental and then refused to answer or return my phone calls. Obviously you dont want my out of pocket money. I would suggest anyone else!!

Dr. Grasvik is great! He listened to my concerns sincerely and made sure I was comfortable. My procedure went very smoothly with no pain! I would highly recommend.

I was quite disappointed when Dr. Grasvik refused to schedule an appointment for a cleaning because he said that I was biologically a male. I wasn’t sure where that came from. He said he wasn’t comfortable treating someone with body issues. I was just going in for a cleaning. Wow! I have numerous emails where he refers to me as a male…him and I dated for a few months and now this! Terrible dentist.

Just had my first cleaning and some fillings done here (they feel great!) this year after losing my previous dentist of 25 years! 2020 has NOT been amazing for most folks, but not when it comes to my great new dentist, with them I am truly pleased! So I am one of those people who had not been to a dentist in over a decade. I called the office and told Darcy my dilemma and she was so kind and understanding and made me feel really comfortable with coming in. When I get come in I never once felt judged for not having had been to the dentist in over 10 years. Dr. Nick made me feel very comfortable and at ease. he was kind he was helpful he was able to explain to me exactly what needed to happen.He put in my permanent crown today and it was such an easy and basically painless experience. Getting the temporary crown was really easy I had no problems with it while waiting for the permanent to come in. This relieved so much of the jaw and general tooth pain I was experiencing. if you are in the same boat as me and looking for a new dentist I highly recommend seeing doctor Nick. From start to finish Ive had nothing but a great experience.

Super impressed with this office. Both doctor and staff were incredibly professional and welcoming. Its been a really long time between dental visits and the office never made me feel guilty of that fact. They discussed with me what I needed done and had a print out of what insurance would cover and what my ultimate cost would be which was a great deal lower than I was expecting. My kiddo has had a couple traumatic dentist experiences in the past and felt completely at ease here so I definitely dont plan on going anywhere else for dental needs. I had my first visit today to see about getting a wisdom tooth extracted. The process from start to finish was extremely easy.Everyone seemed like they genuinely cared about my oral health. Today was my first visit to the dentist in an embarrassingly long time. Riddled with anxiety from my last appointment (somewhere else) I was greeted by a very friendly assistant (Virginia) who set the tone for the rest of my afternoon. There wasn’t a moment where I felt nervous and the nurse and dentist were very honest, detailed and gentle. They were even extremely patient with my tired toddler.

He gave me a temporary fix, to hold me over until I returned. He did this even with a slightly injured hand, he had suffered just days ago before my incident. The staff is professional and courteous, the technicians are skilled and make sure youre comfortable, and Dr. Grasvik will offer candid recommendations on the different options and procedures you might have. Theyre pretty flexible with scheduling as well. All in all, the team at Preferred Dental Care make going to the dentist as painless as possible.

I started going to Preferred Dental about a year ago, and couldnt be happier with them. At previous dentists, I always felt shamed about my dental hygiene. At Preferred Dental, I dont get any sense of that, and I get the sense that they are genuinely interested in my dental health, and look for plans to help ensure that my teeth stay healthy. I wish I had started seeing them sooner!Their location is great, in downtown Beaverton, and the only caution I would have for them is that their parking lot is a bit cramped - but there is ample street parking available (I would recommend parking on the street).Their front desk staff is very polite and helpful as well. I dont think I could provide a higher recommendation!

Dentist visits can be intimidating. Ive been going to Dr. Grasvik for 2 years and find his approach to be like a caring family member. His staff is friendly, informative, and gentle and that reinforces that you are in good hands. Dr. Grasvik has invested in modern equipment and you feel assured your options are the latest procedures available. His parking lot is spacious and conveniently located across from a coffee shop. Unless I move a different part of town, Im going to stay here for a long time.

Been coming here for about a year based upon a friends recommendation. I was dealing with quite a bit of pain as I had not seen a dentist in quite some time. I knew my teeth were in bad shape.Exam done and Dr. Grasvik took care of the urgent issue immediately. We then discussed the needed work for the rest of my mouth and set up a schedule that took into account my yearly insurance allowance.He and the team are incredibly patient, personable, professional and friendly. The staff is always great. I love walking in and being greeted on a first name basis with a genuine smile like a friend not a customer.Scheduling is flexible and costs are very reasonable. I can say that I will never visit a different dentist. Do yourself a favor and visit Dr. Grasvik and team.

What a great experience! I had originally scheduled for a cleaning as a new patient, however, I had a filling break a week before my appointment. I called the office in a lot of pain and they were able to move my appointment to accommodate. During this appointment, Dr. Grasvik had to break the news that I needed an emergency root canal (my first one at that). The staff made sure I was comfortable, they made conversation to distract me, and I was out within 90 minutes - pain free. Unfortunately he wasnt able to finish the work, with it being a last minute procedure, but he gave plenty of instruction on what to do if the temporary filling breaks until my appointment to finish the root canal next week. Im happy that Dr Grasvik is my new dentist!

I got lucky finding Dr. Grasvik. After 26 years with my former dentist, I moved to Oregon and started over. I waited to find someone who would be an equally good fit and was so fortunate to see an ad for Preferred Dental Center. It felt like coming home. Dr. Grasvik and his team did such a great job, I referred other family members who are equally grateful for the friendly, professional, quality care.

I went in looking for an honest opinion about a cavity between two teeth. I had been previously told two conflicting theories about the severity of the cavity. Dr. Grasvik and his dental team were all very professional. After looking at the x-rays, he explained what he would do if it was his mouth. He would not fill the cavity at this point in time but only if it becomes worse. I appreciate his honesty and would recommend anyone else looking for a dentist with their patients best interest in mind. I was nervous about dentists, but for the first time, I know Im ok when Im in the hands of Dr. Nic Grasvik. I had a broken crown and I thought I was going to have the tooth pulled, as I didnt think that there was any way a crown could be put on it, because there was hardly anything left. Dr. Grasvik examined me and told me he could absolutely save the tooth and add a new crown! I was so relieved! I really like Preferred Dental Care because they are leaders in dental technology in Portland and have the best tools to do the job, and are trained in the latest techniques. I couldnt believe how quickly it happened. I have had several crowns before moving back to Portland, and it had always taken a long time and sometimes they dont fit and you have to start all over. But this crown fit perfectly and I was on my way! Another thing I like is that the office is very well managed. I never have to wait and they are always busy. Whoever does scheduling does a great job. Most of all, I like and trust Dr. Grasvik. He is a great dentist and as smart as they come. I also heard that his grandfather was an oral surgeon, so it must run in their family. I also got my teeth cleaned and that was a great cleaning too. Im glad I found this office!

Dr. Grasvik goes above and beyond for his patients. Two days before I was to leave for Europe, my veneer pops off...on a Friday. He was available and came in to the office on a Saturday to re-cement it for me!
