I went in for a egd and they did a really great job. I didnt feel a thing and the staff were super freindly and even called me after my appointment to check on me. Its a great place and I highly recommend getting work done there!

YOUR JUST A NUMBER:So disappointed in Dayton gastroenterology. I had a wonder doctor when I first came here, but then my doctor retired, and I got Dr. Wheeler. He was wonderful at first, but I came to realize that I was just a number. I was sick about a month ago and could not see Dr. Wheeler and received no follow up after I left, could not get my results on my bloodwork or other tests taken, and still to this day have not received anything after. It is ridiculous. I sent the most respectful emails to my doctor requesting follow up, more follow up and recommendations and I learned I’m just a number, a body that helps pays the bills. There are too many patents there the doctors lack taking the time with each patents and it’s just not fair.If this tells you anything- this is my first ever google review. Please know how upset and disappointed I am in the practice. I will never recommend Dayton Gastro to anyone.

Ive had many issues with the office staff... the first time I was willing to write off as anyone could have a bad day... the second time??? Seems like they make a habit of it. I am the only patient here thats a young woman of color and Im a veteran, but either way... Im uncomfortable.

I have seen both Dr. Loughlin and Dr. Gorsky. Both are very professional and willing to spend time answering questions. I had several procedures performed and although due to Covid-19 there were some mix ups and scheduling errors, the office manager, Annie, was extremely helpful and professional. Both the person who answered my call the day of the originally scheduled procedure, and Annie were quickly on the task and attentive to my needs as soon as the situation presented itself. They sincerely cared about my situation and did everything they could to help. Handling a delicate situation the way that they did deserves a five star review for sure. I would definitely recommend this office!

Dr Loughlin is absolutely one of the best Doctors I’ve ever seen. He understands the care and need of a patient in the GI field. I appreciate his exceptional patient care. I wouldn’t see any other doctor and I’m thankful I’m in his care.

I find this office very rude, unfriendly and definitely NOT patient friendly. I would not use or recommend this outfit to anyone!!! This is a medical factory, not a medical practice. Upon complete of two procedures, a very general conversation took place while still under the influence of the anesthesia. Recommendations ever made with no reason or explanation as to why.

Dr. Jaafar is a great dr. Very personable honest and caring.

I just had my first consult with this practice. The admitting receptionists were very friendly throughout the entire process and were happy to answer any questions. The doctor that I saw was very friendly and made sure to answer any of the questions I had regarding my condition but was also very timely with the information as well. She listened to my symptoms and suggested the different possibilities and explained the benefits of getting an additional procedure to make sure that we are ruling out all of the potential causes. Other family members of mine use this same practice and have all had great experiences as well!

The people there are nice. As for trying to get a call back about a issue with abdominal pain and have an ulcer. I have called 3 times this past week and called again and left messages and have not received a call.

Had a colonoscopy done last week and everything turned out fine! Saw the doctor and the anesthesiologist before, immediately prior to and after the procedure. All staff was extremely courteous. Tiffany stands out as she met me in the waiting room, spoke kindly and got me started. Thanks to all.

Referred to Dr. Saxe from prior PCP for chronic GI condition. Physician recommended increasing PPI for states condition. I had issues with prior authorizations in the past due to high dose of this medication which the physician assured me wouldnt be an issue. Sure enough it was an issue and the insurance company requested 2 journal articles supporting the increased medication dose. Dr. Saxe was UNWILLING to provide this information or allow his MA to gather the information for them to send for prior authorizarion. I called multiple times, only on my 4th attempt was I able to speak to an office manager. Not one time was I acknowledged as the patient requesting for provider follow through on the issue and kept getting the run around. In the end I was told if I wanted to find the articles (which are easy to find on the web) and bring them in during ANOTHER office visit, then they would submit.I have since changed practices. I am not a doctor shopper my previous GI doc retired. I hope no one has the same experience as me but please beware of this disappointing practice.

Have been with this practice along with other family members. Receptionist can busy. Currently they have someone to help during any wait time. Doctor assistant returns my call within 24 hours. Usually the same day. Billing department kind and freindly.

Very uninterested in returning calls or understanding even the basics of reasonable patient care. If you have anything more serious than a hangover go somewhere where they care about your well being.

I had my colonoscopy today. My first one!The only bad thing I experienced was what I expected. Prep and fear!Dr. Usman and the staff were all amazing. They made me feel safe which is always a concern when I need to be sedated for anything.I did not encounter 1 bad thing.I would recommend Dayton Gastro to anyone that needs their service! Thank you for taking the fear out of a necessary test. I have family that have had colon cancer! Please dont fear this procedure and you wont if you see Dr. Usman!Thank you to all staff members I encountered!And thank God everything was clear!

Very fast in and out in less than 1/2 hour for office visit.

Girl at reception was polite and helpful too. Was my first colonoscopy ever.I hate needles.So Kathy made me feel comfortable and was gentle on putting IV in.Explained everything in a manner to calm me.Then Barbara came and explained the anesthesia procedure and answered any more questions.Kept me calm and when I was in procedure room assured me that she would take care of me.I was out in seconds and when I woke up it was over and done with. The RN made sure I was all good before I got dressed.Dr Green then came to tell me result.Kathy stayed with me and escorted me out.They were all really nice and I wont be afraid to go again.procefure was fine in 40 min. This was definitely not the experience I expected after all the horror stories.Thsnks for the great service..

This place is worse place i have ever seen in my life. If you love your health please donot go there. I had adominal pain so, i want there doctor told me to take medicine it’s been more than 25 days i havenot got any medicine my situation is worse , doctor ask me to fallowup after within month and half its been almost time to fallup i haven’t got my medicine yet. My husband call so many time in pharmacy but they said they have to talk to doctor , when he calls to nurse it goes to voice message and he leave voice message too but they never reply. I have never wrote any review before but this time i can not control myself , they cross the limit of tolarance. So, i request eveyone not to go such careless place, 😡 This is not the first time they did such careless with me before than that doctor ask me to fallow up within 1 month but the counter lady ask me to come after one and half month.😡😡

Great staff, very professional, recently had an endoscopic procedure performed by Dr. Ali (I believe thats the correct spelling of his name) and could not have asked for a better experience. You guys are awesome!!

I unfortunately found the office receptionists and scheduling agents to be very impolite, with attitudes that suggest they are inconvenienced to deal with patients. The one scheduling agent I did deal with was happy to let me go to a different practice altogether rather than help me see a physician.More importantly, the new office procedures allow for physicians to take notes of the consultation on a laptio during the consultation. As a result, the interaction with the physician was not very personal and felt very transactional.I will not return to this practice.

Saw DR Bupaul for GI problems. He was more than willing to treat me at first. I agreed and complied with everything he instructed me to do. Drank the prep did the endoscopy colonoscopy they did biopsies both ways... Found lesions and hiatal hernia. Less than 24 hours after discharge i had severe pain in my belly and chest so i called the office for help. The nurse talked to me like i was some drug addict and when i was in tears i said the words jeus help me she yelled at me not to cuss at her.... Funny when i go to church they do not consider Jesus a cuss word.so they told me to seek OTHER DR for the pain. Which i did. I went to the ER. They gave me a GI coctail ( not narcotics like they thought i was asking for) which within 5 minutes relieved the pain and heart attack sensation. So I PAY for another DR to do what HIS office SHOULD have been able to do. I was NOT asking for Drugs.. Just HELP and relief... My suggestion is to find another DR. This one will happily torture you and get off on letting you SUFFER afterwards.!!!

The people treat me very well.

On 6-5-17 Dr. Walsh performed a colonoscopy on me. I have been seeing Dr. Walsh for stomach pains. After he performed the procedure on 6-5-17 I again asked about the bad stomach pians. He got very upset with me for asking again and told me to take tylonal for the pain and he would discuss it with me when he returned form his vaction. Pains was so bad I went to the emergency room and I was admitted to the hospital. A ct scan was done and it showed a blockage in my small intestine which required a resection of the intestine and it showd I had cancer. STAY AWAY FROM DR. WALSH. He does not listen to his patients. I guess he was more concern about his vaction then with the pain I was having. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR.
