All the staff are friendly. Even though I moved I come here to see Xe for facials. She is knowledgeable does a wonderful job! Update about desk staff: booked massage was told that aromatherapy & foot trmnt would count as a half session. After my appt, I was told it was $26 and not included. When I said I was told otherwise, the response was sorry no its not. What should have happened since it was their mistake was for them to correct it and deduct the half session. Its not an issue of paying its their error and the only reason I included them was to use up banked sessions .

Oneika is the best! I did a stretch session, followed by a massage and I left there feeling amazing. She recommended kinetic tape for a slight pain I was having in my knee. I woke up the next morning pain free!!! Looking forward to my next session.

Personally I had a horrible experience and obviously won’t be trying out any Massage Envy franchise again but my wife had the worst experience.Her masseuse practically had a hard on which made her very uncomfortable.My own masseuse was all over the place, I had a lower back pain and booked a stretch which was a total waste of money.My one hour session with Anika is the only positive feedback I can give. The other two sessions with “names withheld” were not what I expected.

While I enjoyed most of my massage and the zen atmosphere, my therapist gave me an attitude because I wouldn’t purchase the extra muscle enhance relaxer add on he suggested. He was super pushy about it and it made me feel sort of uncomfortable after having to say No for the second time. Overall, the staff is friendly and made us feel welcome and relaxed. I just wish they wouldn’t go so hard for the upsell…it gets uncomfortable after a while.

Went here for my birthday as a gift from my girlfriend. Upon my arrival everyone at the front desk was very nice. However when I got to my massage therapist it was very disappointing. She was talking about the stresses of her personal life and she even tricked me in to getting extra services with out telling me it was an up charge. I did not feel relaxed I do not like to be conned. I tried to call to speak to a manager and no one wants to speak to me about this situation. I have been waiting for a call back for 4 days now. DISAPPOINTED

I have loved my experience with the Massage Envy in Bayonne. The front desk is always welcoming and positive. Since my pregnancy, Ive had terrible lower back pain. Nasima always takes her time and gets me upright again. She listens to my needs and provides a totally comfortable environment for me to relax and heal.

The front desk and manager were extremely kind and courteous but I will not recommend the therapist Nasima. She felt it necessary to comment and advise on my eczema, such as applying aquaphor, stop scratching and even getting carpenters knee pads for my rough knees. It was such a mortifying experience that I left extremely upset.

This Massage envy is the best location I have been to! The staff and front desk ladies are always so helpful and kind, they know how to make you feel like youre home there! The massage therapists are very professional andspecialized in giving A+ massages.The estheticians are miracle workers, they really are specialized in their profession and always show how much they enjoy making people happy.The overall experience at this location is absolutely phenomenal. Dont just take my advice go in and see for yourself!

I have been a member of Message Envy, Bayonne, for a few years. It is one of the best decisions I ever made. The entire staff is a delight to deal with, not to mention very accommodating. The place is immaculate.ONEIKA, is my therapist. I consider her the best of the best. She is a natural healer. ONEIKA’s knowledge and understanding of anatomy is Phenomenal. Because of ONEIKA, I have more mobility, flexibility, and less pain. ONEIKA listens carefully to her clients, and addresses their concerns. She is a professional, kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I had pain for years in my leg. Thanks to ONEIKA I am pain free! I started my membership before COVID-19. My account was charged throughout the duration of their closure. They would not allow cancelations. When they re opened it became difficult to use all of my messages before the cancelation date. I was told I had to use them all before I canceled. I later learned that I have 60 days after my cancelation to use my credits.I have been trying to cancel my monthly subscription before my last payment date. They told me over the phone that I had to fill out forms in the office. When I arrived they told me that I could not fill out forms in the office. They told me that cancelation forms are emailed. I didnt receive an email. I asked about it the second time I came after being charged for another month. They told me that they didnt have my email on file, so I gave it to them. I gave them my email when I signed up.. They email me advertisements, text and call me about appointments. They told me the second time that they would send an email. I did not receive that email.I called my bank and asked them to block all transactions going forward. I was trying to use the last facial that was charge after asking to cancel multiple times. The morning of my last facial, I called informing them that I have cold symptoms. They advised me that I would be charged a cancelation fee. I told the woman over the phone that I am trying not to get their employees sick and shouldnt be charged for that reason. I stated that I was going to write a complaint and not coming back. She just hung up on me.Overall their massages are mediocre. Karina was the best employee they had, but she no longer works there. Be aware that some of the message therapists like to unload their stress onto their clients. I dont need to know about your ex boyfriend in prison during my message session. Ive also left with a sore neck after that visit. I dont recommend this location and I will be following up with customer service and the better business bureau.

WARNING!! STOP AND READ! Do not do business with this company! Most importantly DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT! During these troubling times with Covid, they are ILLEGALLY extending contracts and charging monthly fees for services not rendered. DO NOT place credit/debit card on file,as they will charge without consent. Their staff provided massage services while showing signs of sickness. There are MANY other massage places to choose from. STAY AWAY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

The worst massage ever. Very rough and unprofessional unless I got a newbie. Talking during the session, when I mentioned the massage was uncomfortable the response I received was “hmmmm that’s weird”😳. Didn’t ask for a refund but I will not be returning.

My best friend treated me to a the 60 min facial. I loved every min. The staff was friendly and helpful. The mini massage is a plus. I also decided to buy the product that was recommended for my skin and I love it. I’ll definitely be returning. Unfortunately I’ll have to find a location near me and I hope the I have the same experience.

IMPECCABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!Yesterday I experienced a breakdown at the Massage Envy - Verona, NJ location (See the Massage Envy - Verona Google reviews for my review). I was connected with Brandy who disappeared the overwhelm and frustration with authentic understanding and timely mitigation of my concerns. I was sure that was never going to give my business to Massage Envy due to my experience at the Verona location. However, working to resolve the situation with Brandy, I am hopeful that I may come around to checking out her Massage Envy - Bayonne, NJ location. I took my Husband there for fathers day. We werent even greeted when we came through the door. There were two women at the front. While one was dealing with a customer the other was just sitting there. We were just standing there for a good 10 minutes before anyone greeted us and when we were greeted it wasnt by the two ladies already at the front desk when we came in. We filled out forms on the mini kiosk and ended up waiting another 10-15 minutes for someone to seat my Husband in the second waiting room. My Husband was finally taken into the actual massage room at 1:50pm. His appointment was at 1:30 pm but we were there since 1:10pm. When I asked him how the massage went he said on a scale of 1-10 he gave the young lady a 3. He said her stomach growled the entire massage which was supposed to be 90 dollars for a 90 minute massage but they take out 10 minutes to fill out paperwork. And 5 minutes at the end to get dressed. But i was charged 6 extra dollars. I wont say the womans name but I will say bigger isnt always better. I normally go to Serenity Day Spa but they were booked. This place has no couth for paying customers. My first and last experience at Massage Envy.

I have been coming here for over a year and it seems as if the service aspect has really tanked. Its seems it is all about pushy sales and limiting your rights now. Being a member and paying almost $65 per month one expects a certain respect but this is not the case here. You can almost never get a same day massage at or around the time that you want because the staff is so limited or non existent. Its like a revolving door at this place. I called numerous times on the morning of around 10am to book a 7 or 8pm appointment and could never get fit in. I even tried calling the day before in the morning for the next day and had the same hassle. One time they told me the only appointment they had open the following day was at 9am, 9am? are you kidding me.I found out that the front desk has favorites and tries to maneuver reservations to their friends who are masseurs which really is bad business for clients that want to book at a particular time. This has happened on numerous occasions. I normally will not take the far off booking time and simply tell them no thank you, I will not be able to make that time but usually before you hang up, all of a sudden they miraculously find an opening near the time you wanted. Really bad business and it makes me wonder if they are getting kicked back by the staff they are pushing so much work too.Another issue that I think is absurd is that if you do take the membership and for some reason cant use the included monthly massage due to an illness, travel or other cause, they hassle you when you try and gift it to a family member or friend. I brought my daughter here and we a couples massage in the same room. It was pleasant and something that I thought was a nice experience for her. She asked if we could go a few months later and I booked the appointment through their front desk. When we arrived the person Jennifer at the front desk told me that my daughter would not be able to go inside with me but could sit in the lobby because they have a rule now that a guest can not come back within 6 MONTHS? This is their way of pushing memberships and sales and to try and get families to buy multiple memberships? How utterly ridiculous!!!!!!!My daughter was only 16 and could not get a membership because at this age she has to be accompanied by an adult. Who makes these consumer deterrent policies? The owners of these franchises have to use common sense and their own discretion when dealing with the customers. This business fails to take certain circumstances into account and thus harms their customer base.if you are planning to get a membership here, buyer beware........

This place is the worst, they con us into signing up for membership which states that we can cancel anytime, however, that was not the case. Even though I told them that we could not longer go foe more sessions as I was out of work they still took out 70.00 from my account every month.And when you yo there, they expect a mandatory tip of 20.00 or more on top of trying to sell you additional overprice products.Dont waste your money, go to another spa, there are a couple of good ones on Broadway.

I made the mistake of telling my technician I had sciatica. What was supposed to be an aroma therapy message focusing on my neck, shoulders, and mid back turned into an unsolicited sciatica physical therapy session. I asked twice about moving on to my issue but he wad determined to continue doing what he wanted. I am now in bed at 12:20am with the worst pain I have ever experienced in my back and leg that I cant sleep and am literally crying. Of all the times Ive been here, this was the worst experience Ive ever had.

As far as ME clinics in the area go its decent, no better or worse than any other clinic.As far as the reviewer below me who is complaining about the policy of not gifting massages to the same person more than once in 6 months- thats the policy you signed when you got your contract. It hasnt changed in years. You can still give away one session a month, but not to the same person more than once every 6 months. Thats because they want you to use your sessions, as a personalized health plan is made for you when you join. Its just company policy and you signed off on it.The clinic is relatively small but I usually choose this one over Jersey City or Hoboken because parking is easier (unless Im in Bergen county when I visit the Fair Lawn clinic since its brand new and right by my job.)

I have come here so many times in the past and always have been disappointed. This last time was the icing on the cake when each time the massage therapist leaned over their fat stomach kept rubbing my head into the face rest. I told them to please stop but then the rest of the massage became really horrible. I am not sure what kind of people they employ but I walked out feeling so upset and frustrated.
