Do not go here. I asked about my insurance, said it was good and in the system and now found it to be out of network, stuck paying all this blood work out of pocket. I wish they wouldn’t have advised me that the insurance wasn’t a problem

This place has gone down in flames. A year ago I would have no complaints (aside from the rude staff). The doctors were great and it was fast and efficient. I have suffered with severe anxiety all my life and have been going to that office for years to treat it. Suddenly and unfortunately, there had been a switch in doctors. The last thing I wanted to do was see a new doctor but I had not much of a choice. The new doctor being, Dr. Michelle. Unprofessional would be an understatement. Rude from the start while proceeding to question the validity of my prescriptions (in which I’ve been on for YEARS) implying that I’m pill seeking . Doctor Michelle has absolutely no ounce of sympathy as she then went on to roll her eyes and raise her voice at me making it seem as though I came there for other intentions as I cried and confided in her. Due to the fact that they suddenly don’t take my insurance anymore, I paid a 70$ copay only to be gaslighted, berated and sent on my way.

Last time I went there they could not get to my fax because it was locked in a drawer and they did not have a key. It took days. This morning I went there, by getting up early on my day off at 5:00 a.m. to be there at 5:30 a.m. I was the seventh person outside the door, as a walk-in. When I got inside the sign on the kiosk said walk-ins three to four hours. When the lady came out she said yes were full of appointments to sign is for today as well. She said that she was the only one there besides a trainee. I asked if she would give me my fax so I can go somewhere else. She said the machines been broken and she doesnt have my fax. This place does not make sense. It is very obvious that management especially upper management does not have a clue whats going on in this place, its very very sad.

The receptionist is very nice. I was a walk-in with no appointment. The wait time was longer than anticipated because other clients had appointments. Note to self Make an appointment! Lol

In all honesty if I could give them 0 starts I would. I tried making an appointment before 7:30am only because the doctor told me to do it before that time because I had to do a saliva test that had to be done the night before. Not only I couldn’t make the appointment I went to talk to them face to face and ask them if it’s possible to make an appointment before that time. They told me to just come in early in the morning and I should be able to do the bloodwork. The next day I come in and they tell that I have to have an appointment and it was impossible for me to do the bloodwork at that time. The only reason I’m mad is because I tried to make an appointment and they told me to just come and everything will be alright. I had a time limit between the saliva test and the bloodwork. Now I payed out of pocket for the saliva test and now it’s all wasted. Who’s going to pay for the second one ? But of course no one cares if you have money or not, it’s not their problem. Not only they gave me the wrong information but because of their mistake I have to pay extra.

Very pleasant and fast service at this location. I had a 7:45 appointment and was taken in immediately. In and out in 5 minutes. And the technician who drew my blood was very professional, courteous and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient this location is.

It is extremely difficult to use the online appointment scheduler. Like, its impossible to get an appointment using it.After a many tries to login successfully, I created a new account and got to the scheduling screen. I found a day and time, and went thru the steps to verify and confirm the appointment. But, the system says: that date or time is no longer available. I tried another date, time and locations several times and got the same error message.So I phoned in my appointment request. Used an automated system. And got a confirmation number. I sure hope it went thru, but Im keeping my expectations low.Quest Diagnostics desperately needs to invest in updating their scheduler software coding. It stinks.

The expected wait time on the screen is never accurate and always increases! Was told to be there at 10:30am and they called me to a room at 3:10pm! I left almost 4 hours prior! Couldn’t get anyone on the phone or even standing in the office to let them know I was leaving. Never had a great experience at any Quest. You would think they would let you know your day will be wasted waiting and better to reschedule.

**ALWAYS CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY WHEN YOU RECEIVE A BILL!!**Be very careful with Quest, they will try to rob you blind.I’m fully insured with Oscar health, an insurance company Quest works with. After getting specialized bloodwork done back in February, I received a bill for the total amount of 4,734.95. As you can imagine, I was very surprised, since I have full coverage. And let’s face it, no one wants to see that amount due for anything!I see a strange note just above the breakdown of the bill.“OSCAR INS CO EXCHANG denied payment indicating services provided exceed the maximum number allowed under your policy” But I saw Oscar paid some money towards the bill.Immediately, a red flag went up. I’ve never had a “cap” on bloodwork, and I go for A LOT of blood work. So I call my insurance company.So an insurance company makes a deal with labs, “We pay this amount and you charge the patient this amount and that’s it.” Most labs don’t like this deal, since they get hit with a loss.What Quest attempted to do is something called “Balanced Billing”. This means they lie to the patient in an attempt to recoup for their loss. This is obviously something that CANNOT DO but attempt to do so, anyway.My actual bill with Quest, agreed upon both by Oscar and Quest, is a little over 400 dollars.If you have to use Quest, always call your insurance company. Take the time to double check. If you have options, stay the hell away from Quest to save yourself aggravation and stress.I hope this review will save someone from this little game this company plays

The wait time is ridiculous. They usually only have 2 people on staff. If someone calls out, they should have a back up. They should at least have 4 people on call. I would give ZERO stars if I could. I don’t recommend going to this lab. This place is ridiculous. 😒

Im not sure when this happened but now they removed the receptionist rile entirely from this place. So if you have a question your best bet would be to call ahead and wait an hour or so before someone finally gets to the phone or make an appointment...will be going somewhere else

My 15 yr old went to the Bay Shore NY location to have blood drawn and met with a Viper who had no bedside manner, refused to honor his wishes to draw blood from his left arm and proceeded to poke and prod his right arm twice until she finally drew from the left arm on the first shot. He was clearly shaken, yet not even an apology or regard for him. Cold-hearted beast. I wouldnt be so upset normally but this was told to me by my calm, forgiving husband. She only answered questions with Yes or No and refused to contact the doctor who requested expedited results because surgery is scheduled for 2 days from now. I would give ZERO stars but you cannot leave a review without choosing at least 1. I will never go to a quest location again.

Have been having blood drawn for years at this Facility and have never had a bad experience. The staff are professionals, waiting time has never been more than 20 minutes, and if I make an Appointment they are always on time.

This place need to be looked at carefully the techs really couldnt care less about anyone last month it took over 2hrs to see me and thats with an appointment and this month the ipad was not working it had a paper taped to it to sign the sign in sheet the line was out the door and the techs where inside didnt bother to come and put out a sign in sheet this is unacceptable and needs to be addressed

As someone who works at a doctors office, we sent one of our patients here. They NEVER answer their phones and we have had to get in contact with them for very urgent situations. They also gave us an issue when we told them to bill our account instead of the patient (which we also specified on the requisition forms as well) since the patient had already paid us. Extremely unprofessional.

I went 15 days ago to do the allergy test, they took my blood, today I go to my doctor and he does not have the results, they call and they do not get my results? What kind of laboratory takes your sample and loses it? And it remains as if I never was. I go to the office and they give me a phone number because they dont have my exams? If I could place less stars, I would play with your time and your HEALTH !!!!!!!!!! NEVER GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
