Great office! The Doctor was nearly painless and explained every step of the way. My wait was a bit long but totally worth the wait. The assistants were friendly and very sweet. Front desk staff was awesome and knowledgeable and helped me understand my benefits too!! Highly recommend!

I have been a patient here and so have my children. both Dr. San and Dr. Yag are both great dentists. they really care about their patients. The dental staff are very nice and helpful. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the two older women at reception are very snippy. They are not very customer friendly. The new office is gorgeous. I miss the old reception staff they had .

Never received antibiotics after being seen on august 25th called the next day the receptionist said she would call the doctor still to this day I have not received antibiotics thank god for urgent care where I received antibiotics

This was my third root canal and my first root canal where I felt no pain .. I felt dull pressure which is normal to happen but nothing unbearable ! It was the best root canal ever . Everything was explained to me in depth , all options given , very patient , understanding thorough and empathetic . Never felt forced to make my decision . Very professional about my dental condition. All staff was warm and professional as well . Didn’t know I would have felt no pain at all . It’s the first dentist that didn’t lie to me ! I had a painless dentist today ! Dr San is the man!!! 😃😃👍👍Highly recommended!

Dr San is amazing. He is an amazing Dentist and human being. He truly cares about his patients and is so honest and thorough. I am so thankful for my wonderful dentist office! Soooo highly recommend!

The wait was a bit longer than usual but I believe that was due to Covid 19 precautions so no problem.. the staff is very helpful and courteous and I feel Im in good hands with Dr. K.

If your a patient here and pay cash for your services, call your insurance and ensure there not charging them to because they did mine and are refusing to refund what insurance paid them, there also only allowed to charge you what the insurance would pay which they also didn’t do as well.

Dr Yaghoubian is a caring, competent, & professional dentist. His staff is also very polite, & efficient. They checked us in & out in a timely fashion. I highly recommend them.

I have been to this location many times but I must share my experience for Sunday June 30, 2019. I called prior to visiting about an emergency [...]. An appointment is strongly encouraged prior to visit. First off, the receptionist was very understanding, courteous, professional, and accommodating. This is a definite first for me because as always, it is never the dentist but miscommunication as the desk that was a prior issue. The dentist was very understanding and gave solid advice and were not too pushy [a plus for me]. Overall a great visit. All issues resolved. I believe and strongly recommend confirmation of office address before visiting because while this location is perfectly what you would expect a dental office to look like ask at the desk if they are still planning to relocate. A month ago I went to their future location currently under construction. Not sure if they are still going there🤔.

Great dentist. Probably the best I’ve ever had.

I went in for an emergency tooth extraction from a broken wisdom tooth. I was in increasing pain for a couple days before I got this done and was looking everywhere for an affordable and nice (very clean) place to go. After I refused improper care at a hospital I went here the lady on the phone was reassuring and got me right in. I am very scared of well, everything, but Dr. San was nice and calm throughout the whole thing. (even though I panicked and might have bit him a bunch of times, sorry about that Dr. San!) He was very fast!! When he was finished pulling the the tooth I was afraid that he was just getting started but he’s was done! The whole thing took maybe15 minutes. Everything about this place is fast. You’re in and out very quickly and it was not painful which to me is the most important. -novocaine shots don’t count. To the lady at the front desk who saved my info and got me right in -thank you! You made me feel better even before my tooth came out. I’ll be back!

Dr. Sanandaji has now done 3 root canals for me over the last 10 years and all 3 went as good as a root canal could I suppose lol. No issues whatsoever and I always feel comfortable letting him work on my teeth. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Honestly, i would recommend you do your own dental work with a rusty screwdriver before i suggest you use this particular dentist. god forbid you are in any pain at all , they dismiss that right away. unless you have money. dentist couldnt even be bothered to hear my complaint that i have an exposed nerve and pain from a cap he put on. so Ive not been able to move my jaw since Friday, the pain is unbearable and he the me out without so much as an Ibuprofen.long story short, if you dont have cash money dont expect any kind of care here.absolutely suggest you consider seeing a prison dentist before you consider bay shore family dental.

I had called the office trying to get an emergency visit today and luckily I was seen by the dentist . I have to say the girls in the front at the desk went above and beyond and helped me to where I was able to be seen . They were very nice especially Zaida. I am glad I came across this number and made the appointment. So a big thank u to my old dentist who no longer excepts my insurance and made me look elsewhere lol !!!!! Great work, friendly atmosphere.I came to this practice in month 5 of my first pregnancy with severe tooth pain. The practice I was going to previously, suddenly changed their hours with no warning or explanation and were unable or unwilling to accommodate me. So with a dental emergency I searched for a new provider. They took me for a same day appointment, were able to address the issue and some others that I had. I found the Dr. to be competent, patient and compassionate ( major dental work on a very pregnant woman is not the easiest for anyone involved) and he did all in his power to make me as comfortable as possible. The office staff is always friendly and professional. I highly recommend.

I had a tooth extraction and I was so scared being my first one done awake, they made me feel so much better. It wasn’t as bad as I pictured in my head. I will definitely be getting my other teeth fix here from now on. Also my husband had it done first and had a great experience getting 2 teeth extracted. We both had Dr. Yaghoubian who is just a great and informative dentist. The staff is friendly, helpful and they alway answer the phone!

Beware they will not warn you and go so deep in your fillings that you will have pain eating or drinking cold or hot so they do this to tell you that you need a root canal. They will do this over and over again on your fillings and your insurance many no cover more than one. The place is a scam read other reviewers reviews as i didnt before i went there. There other people claiming the same thing. I took time to write this to warn others. Big huge mistake. Hope this helps. There are so many others i wouldnt take the chance.

I wish I would have read reviews of this place before having work done. I had 4 fillings done in July and just like other reviewers have stated the teeth that were worked on till this day still hurt when I chew on them they are extremely sensitive to anything cold or hot I can’t even gargle with mouth wash without being in pain. It’s October now and this is absolutely unacceptable. Went in for a follow up at first I was told my insurance is up and would be charged for any work but after complaining about the fact that I’m only there to get answers to why my teeth still hurt months after they were worked on the dentist saw me and gave me some sorry excuse and said continue using sensodyne tooth paste. I highly doubt sensitive tooth paste will help my cause at this point. I now have to wait till the new year for my insurance to reset and hopefully my insurance will cover the cost fixing the horrible job that Bay Shore Family Dental has done to my teeth.

The staff is very friendly and nice, very professional. Im so glad I found such a good dentist office which is just in 5 minutes walk from my home.

Bayshore Family Dental has a professional staff that makes you feel comfortable and has state-of-the-art equipment. The office is open on Sundays. I highly recommend them.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My teeth are currently in so much pain and sensitive, place is corrupt charged for white filling when all my filling were silver. Insurance will only give a certain amount of fillings and later they magically turn into root canals. Place is a BIG SCAM absolutely hate it.

I was eating something and my tooth was in so much pain. I had to get a root canal done. I googled and found this place. The staff was so helpful and wonderful Dr. Sanandaji was amazing.

The worst place. I went in there for my sons tooth ache, they couldnt help because i needed a pediatric dentist. They did awhole lot of unnecessary stuff that he didnt need just so they can make money. Smh

The wait was about 45-60 minutes even after arriving early with paperwork already filled out (they have their patient forms available for downloading/printing online!). Other than that, the cleaning job was great (the dentist did miss one tough spot, which I pointed out and he happily cleaned up quickly before I walked out) and his bedside manner was satisfactory.

Horrible staff above all !!!!! The dentist was ok , he was alittle rough but the receptionists are nasty and only help you when it benefits them !!! I needed a release done yesterday and still nothing has been done and to top it all off they said they cant do it until tomorrow !! They know I have a deadline they know I cant come into their office and theyre refusing to help me knowing I cant have this procedure done after next Wednesday. Mind u yet that it takes time for approvals and releases thru insurance. Disgusting truly disgusting !!!!! I recommend this dentist to NO ONE !!! Plus when I called my insurance their information isnt even updated so my insurance cant call them either to help out !!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Please please do not go here!! I was told my insurance did not cover one of my services , I paid over $500.00 to have them do it. The girls have been calling non stop the past year regardless of me telling them multiple times I do not need any additional services at this time. Now, Im having an issue with the service they did and I get told basically tough luck, I have to pay the 500.00 all over again!!

I have been using this office for over 4 years now at first i was very pleased with the staff and Dr. Y would only exclusively see him due to a bad experience with his partner Dr.S . I have now stopped using this office officially as of yesterday due to having two teeth pulled and walking out of the office bleeding swollen infected wounds and in pain with no medication for relief .Basically was told in laments terms too bad. My whole family goes to this office my friends that I recommended mind you.My Dr. And I have always had a good repore bringing in dental supply samples for him and the staff due to me working with a dental supplier nice chats and knowing all by first name status until I recently started to see the quick turn over in the office all old staff that I knew slowly started to disappear and never the same face twice after that.The office started to look extremely unkempt not cleaned or sanitary. Example my appointment was at 11:30 a.m dirty bandaid with blood on floor in waiting room at 6pm when I went back due to know one sending over antibiotics and Motrin for mouth surgery dirty bandaid still on floor. While there confronted Dr.Yay in reference to being in pain he then stated he couldnt fill anything due to new DEA,CDC,ADA LAWS regulations regarding schedule drugs i had requested to see these laws in a print out he then said he could not provide that because what it actually was is his own person office protocol for prescribing and distributing class drugs but misleading his patients to believe that it is an actual real law/restriction is appalling and deceitful.If he lied in reference to the protocol what else has he lied about? I trusted this Dr with my teeth/mouth and they are more screwed up now than they ever been all of the work he has ever done in my mouth has always fallen appart...why??? I do not take pain medication unless I am in extreme pain and to be told a bogus story while in extreme pain is totally uncalled for Two teeth pulled and infection shows no remorse nor was it professional, I then asked for my chart where I was then told No why was I told No what is he now doing to my chart. Thousands of dollars spent here with a jacked up mouth to show for it. This is a form of malpractice do not go here i assure you you will have to go back a bunch of times for something as simple as a filling it will fall out caps and crowns will decay or call out within a year .so much more to say but word of advice to go a different office dirty and ghetto and Dentist who claim to be Dentist cant perform simple quality dental work.

Doctors support staff is ill-mannered/trashy. Receptionist picked a fight with me and started yelling at me when i questioned a mystery charge on my account. Dishonest billing. Doctor is not even that good. AVOID THIS PLACE! And any of the reviews that specifically say the staff is nice are obviously fake!! Dont go here!!!!
