My Advise would be that front desk AT GO HEALTH URGENT CARE and Customer Service get it together. I called and they said no appointments to walk right in next day 9am front desk said we dont see anyone with out appointment and rude people that work there the only pleasant person who was helpful and kind was the P.A. Courtney Bofinger. Everyone else RUDE AND NASTY WE WHERE EVEN THREATEN NOT TO BE SEEN because I addressed the back and forth of every ones personal rules. Get it together front desk.

Staff was amazing since the moment I walked in they were all very nice specially Cristine the PA she was extremely kind and very supportive when she gave me the test results. She said she was going to put in the prescription for a treatment to get at the hospital and a few minutes later I got the phone call to set up the appointment. Receptionist were very helpful also and helped me to set up appointments for my dad and my mom. Best experience ever. Thank you staff of Go health Urgent care!!!!

One star is too generous for this poor excuse of a facility. I took my dad there to be seen and we were told hed be seen in a few minutes. 6 and a half hours later no one calls, we were only seen after I walked in and asked what was going on. They blamed this delay on the receptionist being new and offered an apology. And once the Doctor saw us, we were told to go to the Emergency Room! Weve been to the E.R. and received treatment faster than this urgent care. At this point, just take your loved one or yourself to the hospital unless you have a whole day to wait.

Im really disappointed with this place. The staff that works here are lazy specially Grace. I called around 4pm to ask how long was the wait. Also if I can make an appointment or just walk in. She totally misinformed me. Say we have around 8 people on the list meanwhile they dont closed until 8PM. She say you can come in but you will have to wait and we might not be able to see you. My husband and I stopped by and Grace once again say is 8 people with appt that are waiting plus 40 people walkins. She sent my husband the link and within 5 mins we were called to come back!! Staffing at this place are lazy ! Giving you wrong wait times. They really need to give patients the right information.

Everyone was very pleasant, friendly, thorough & understood our situation. The location was clean, private & very pleasing. My husband & I were very impressed with the precise speed in which we were able to get attention & results so quick.. it was very appreciated.

The PA Karen Aiello was amazing. She was so thorough, patient and kind to my 4 year old daughter. She showed such genuine concern and warmth. She was so patient when examining my daughter who was very distraught and anxious. She spent time answering any of my questions and listening to my concerns.

I went in to have my daughter and I tested for Covid because she had just started school and came home two days later with a runny nose and fever. We both tested negative. A few days later I checked the portal for the results so that I could print them out and give them to my daughters school as proof that she was negative. The results were not there. I called and they said to come in to pick up a paper copy. I went in and the Physicians Assistant never entered the results!! They claimed that they couldn’t see his notes because they’re “private”, but my guess is he didn’t note anything. They said they would email him and he would enter the results. I called the next day and they said they haven’t heard from him yet. I asked if they could call him instead and they claimed to have no information on him other than his email. I lost my temper because now I’m paying for childcare until she can go back to school. I asked if I could make an appointment to get her tested again so she could be cleared for school and I was discouraged from doing that and was told to just wait to hear back from this PA. It’s two days later and I haven’t heard anything from anyone. HORRIBLE! UNPROFESSIONAL. They won’t see me again. What else are they not doing if they can’t enter a simple test result. Plus the coverup for this moronic PA is ridiculous.

From the first person that I spoke to..each individual was courteous, helpful and professional but there was one extra attribute...they were empathetic. I was upset and they were understanding and I am grateful.

Usually they are good here, but results vary by whoever is at the front desk. Today I went as a walk-in, and suddenly they aren’t allowing people to wait in the lobby anymore. Fine. I’ll do my registration. I walk back to my car, do the registration, and see a 55 minute wait time?! If it’s that busy, communicate that to me first and foremost. Awful service. Find another location.

Everyone was very nice and pleasant like my past experiences. One of main reasons of returning. They took very good care of me as walk in 2019 with major breathing issues that turned out requiring me to be sent to the ER and recently getting a Covid test.

I was tested positive with covid on the 21st and was told I was going to get an inhaler because I had discomfort and a weird feeling when breathing . They said they would write the prescription and send it to my pharmacy . The ladies I saw were very nice and I don’t know who’s fault this is maybe it’s their fault . I don’t really know but I had to call twice a day since then and have not spoken to the doctor and the ladies answering the phone sent emails to the doctor and I still have not received anything . With something serious like this , it takes DAYS to get someone an inhaler ? Never going back here . No one has gotten back to me or sent anything. How do you do this to someone with Covid? Or anyone for that matter ?? It’s almost 4 days now without an inhaler that they said I could have …I see this place gets a lot of 1 star ratings …

The front desk agent working on Sunday at around 6:40 was extremely rude and nasty. I asked if there were any available covid appt and she immediately raised her voice and was not helpful in the slightest. Extremely unprofessional and rude. I understand you’re busy with covid tests however this is not a reason to have outburst on customers.

I always come here when I need to go to urgent care because I usually don’t have to wait too long and there’s always great staff and doctors here at this location. I don’t go anywhere else.

Had a great experience at Northwell during my virtual appointment and my office appointment. All the staff was very nice and helpful.

Dr. Guevara was very informative, took the correct procedure in my care, and showed me she is more than competent as an MD. I wish I worked with more doctors like her. She took concern and was fast. I am an ER RN for 13 years and she reacted exactly the way an ER doctor would. She took action immediately. I am very glad she was my provider and I will be coming back if needed. Thank you to the whole staff, but especially Dr. Guevara.

Ordinarily, I love Northwell GoHealth. This was my first and only time I will ever go to the Bayshore location. I called ahead since I don’t live close to make sure they would see my fiancé who is really, really ill. I was assured there would be a wait but that they would see him. To get there and be turned away only a half hour later is not appropriate. I went back inside with him to explain the situation and was audibly chuckled at by a security guard and the man at the front desk. I understand everyone in healthcare is stretched thin, but no one going to an urgent care wants to be there for no reason or be laughed at.This really could have been a case of a call being routed to a center that didn’t have the correct information. However, we didn’t deserve the way we were treated.

Went in person and made an appointment for an X-ray exam and confirmed multiple times via text and call. The day of I receive a text asking if I was getting a COVID test… no… I need an X-ray… they canceled my appointment last minute saying the X-ray technician was sick and did not come in today. Frustrating because this was the only place I could get a X-ray appointment due to everything being taken over by COVID testing and COVID related appointments. Nothing like last minute

Horrible. The facility closed at 8pm. And I went in at 730 pm on a Saturday 30 mintues before closing and they didnt want to be bothered. Were giving me a hard time about taking a covid test. Very rude employees. Especially the person at the front desk. Dont be in the healthcare field if you think your going to be able to leave your shift at exactly closing hour. And have more compassion for people who are sick.

I have never been before today’s visit nor do I know anyone who has been to this urgent care center. I was so pleased with their cleanliness, quick service, and kind employees. My appointment was at 11:22 am but I showed up around 11 to fill out any paperwork if necessary. Assuming it would be crowded for COVID tests the day before Easter, I was pleasantly surprised that I was one of the only people there. I was in and out by my original appointment time and was very satisfied. I don’t usually write reviews but it was because of their great reviews that I decided to trust them. I’ll definitely be back in the future if need be!

Been there once for having really bad strep recently and from the front end, to the ppl in between, to the PA who diagnosed me, I had a really great experience. Ive had terrible experiences in hospitals and Dr offices. I trust you guys, thank you for being kind, efficient, and doing everything so smoothly in great timing. I had a very big open wound on my hand and they turned me away without even taking a look because they told me they were too busy. I was obviously in pain and needed help and they did not accommodate.

Signed in and waited 40 plus minutes in my car to be called in patiently. Then I called 2x in 10 minute intervals only to be told 10 minutes more . I had had enough and walked in only to find 3 overfed receptionist sitting at the desk looking at foodie videos . No welcome ...just burps..Ten minutes later an elderly couple shuffled in only to be ignored by these creatures in hibernation .Terrible .Felt like “Whatever care “The only saving grace was the doctor on call. He was professional and kind.

Overall a good experience. I came in with my 2 year old daughter who had a nursemaid elbow due to my 4 year old playing with her. Only thing I didnt appreciate was that the physician assistant who helped us asked (I guess) an intern if he wanted to do it. Meaning to pop her elbow back in place. Intern said no he rather watch and after the physician assistant helped my daughters arm, the intern said wow Ive never seen this in person. Next time PLEASE ask the parents permission. As a parent who is already stressed out about my 2 year old being in pain, it WOULDNT have been okay if an intern or someone who doesnt have experience giving it a try on my 2 year old for their first time.

This is my 2nd visit to this place, 1st one was not upto my satisfaction i had to run to an ER after that, thought everyone deserves a 2nd chance. I know me not going to this place is not gonna effect them at all but why do i have to wait 1 hour to see a doctor when i made my appointment 5 hours ago, I mean whats the excuse. My appointment was @ 05:53 pm on 03/21/2021, like promised i texted HERE @ 05:50 pm, let aside when i entered, the Physician Assistant came to see me @ 06:55 pm and in 5 mins she said to get a urine test, my question is why u didnt had my urine test done before so that u would had something to talk about.

Great place to go to if you want to go broke. These urgent cares are a rip off and the service isnt exactly stellar.

Although he was the only provider in the Urgent Care on a very busy day, Dr. Patel took his time with my examination and explained everything to me until I completely understood. I really trust his assessment and advice.In regards to the Bay Shore Urgent Care itself, Ive only had positive experiences.The staff has always been very helpful to me. I appreciate that I have a place that I can find good care when I cant see my regular doctor.

I wanted to get tested for covid and googled where to get tested near me. This was 1 of the places that came up and with the best rating. It said no appointment need so I went there. Yes you do need an appointment but the fellow at the desk took care of it for me and told me to go wait in my car and fill out the insurance info needed that he sent on my cell. I did not wait no more than 15 min to get in. Place is clean!I certainly will use this place in the future!

Absolutely disgusted by this place. There is one person behind the desk who is doing the job of 3 people. Staff lacks sense of communication and direction. This place is highly understaffed. Extremely disappointed. I sincerely feel terriblefor the workers of this facility. This is an issue that needs to be resolved in order to help the patients get the care they need immediately.

This place is just a covid factory once they test you and your negative you get pushed out the door they didnt try to see if I had another illness just pushed me out to get more covid test done for the day. You dont get real treatment from a doctor

I dropped my brother off yesterday but before I could leave the parking lot he called me & stated he was told he had to go online to make an appointment. When he got back in the car I asked why he didn’t make the appointment while he was inside he stated that he tried but was told the computers were down and when he asked the person he was speaking with (a young lady in blue scrubs) how he is supposed to make an appointment online if the computers are down she shrugged her shoulders. I said that doesn’t make sense so I went back inside with him. I asked the receptionist if she could make the appointment for him she said no because her computer is down and that we would have to make the appointment online. I tried making the appointment online while I was there but was unable to get into the system, I asked her if there was another option since the computers are down, she stated that I could use the kiosk to sign in but there’s about a 3 hour wait we said ok we would sign in and go back home. Now my brother is partially blind and therefore has problems using electronic devices, you wouldn’t know this by his physical appearance. I tried to sign him in but was unable to, the screen was frozen at that point the receptionist came from behind her desk looked at the screen and determined since the computers were down the sign in pad was too (did she not know this before she told us to sign in?) At that point we decided to go back home wait a little while and then try to schedule the appointment online which I did for 6:30.The instructions were to text the front desk as you enter the facility which he did. He goes inside and is told he has to wait outside. Now it’s damp & raining outside I asked him how long the wait is and if they could text him when they are ready so he doesn’t have to wait outside in the rain, at that point they put him in a room. The room was available when he arrived, and there was no one else in the waiting room why did he have to go through being told to wait outside?I understand there are restrictions in place dueto COVID, The reason I took the time to write this Looog review is because I’ve visited this facility several times and the staff’s friendliness is hit or miss. Patients visit Urgent Care Facilities because they are sick and while we hope to receive compassion professionalism is expected (shrugging of shoulders comes across as being dismissive) What provisions are in place for a patient who is unable to use the kiosk to sign in or when the computers are down? In my opinion the culture of the staff at this location doesn’t line up other Northwell Urgent Care Facilities.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Woman at the front desk was rude to my mother and I. Stood outside 30 minutes before they opened even with an appointment at 9:07AM. They told me they were at their capacity only one hour after they opened. Please do yourself a favor and go to the riverhead location. Although it is a drive it is worth it. Please do not waste your time I went three days in a row for them to tell me the same thing before 9:30AM.

Don’t go there if you’re looking to feel better quickly!You’ll be aggravated, inconvenienced, and have to suffer first!I had issues from the beginning, started out with the receptionist wanting to collect hundreds of dollars out of pocket when they take my insurance before being seen. They finally agreed to send a bill which will be paid through insurance.Moving past that debacle, I finally see a doctor who tells me to keep taking over the counter medication and they’ll send a prescription for a nighttime cough medication to my local pharmacy. Great advice for wanting to charge people hundreds of dollars for that ‘visit’ to continue using OTC meds.Moving on, I after my day at work I get to the pharmacy and they don’t even have my prescription!!! Now it’s too late to have this rectified because the urgent care office was closed so I had to suffer until the morning. Once reaching the office, the person on the phone says the doctor didn’t even send a prescription over but they’ll do it now asking me what was supposed to be sent. The appropriate thing to do would be to go ask the doctor what was supposed to be sent, not me!Completely unprofessional, incompetent, and absolutely not helpful!Again, don’t go there if you’re looking to feel better anytime soon!

It was a very good visit. I had a COVID anti bodies test.However I cannot access my results on the portal like I was instructed to.I cant sign in to access it.I tried calling..no one picks up.Otherwise it was a good experience. Nurses are nice and helpful.

The man at the front desk has a disgusting attitude. We had an encounter two days consecutively and i am highly disappointed in their patient care. I’m never going back and that specific employee needs to be dealt with accordingly because as a Northwell employee we do not care for our patience in that manner.

Staff was friendly, caring and attentive. I came in with an upper respiratory infection and was having trouble breathing and I was visiting from out of town. The PA who took care of me was Jesse and he was wonderful. He listen to me, examined me and prescribed the proper medication that would help me get better. Thank you so much.

I highly recommend that people DO NOT go here.The nurse who came in to check my vitals was very pleasant.The doctors fail to abide by their oaths as doctors to do what they are supposed to do. Also, make sure you provide them with your medical history because they won’t bother to ask.

I was very hesitant to go to an urgent care because of the wait time and also how well the providers are but one day I was truly desperate & made an appointment online & did not wait at all whatsoever. Gracious John, PA seen me. Hes better than my own primary care physician! He is very detailed and fully covered every single thing. He made me aware of his thoughts & ideas and we both agreed on a treatment plan. He is very caring & compassionate & really just wants the best for you. The office is gorgeous & everything is high-tech, its clean and the medical staff is up to date on diseases & treatments.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The staff is awful and extremely rude. I work for Northwell Health and I know for a fact that their culture is not this. We were basically denied attention. And when I asked to speak to a manager I was told they didn’t have one and literally said BYE. Awful people should not work in healthcare EVER. Will escalate this to Northwell leadership.

I was a walk-in and the staff was extremely pleasant and efficient. The wait was minimal both times I was there, even though one of those times it was busy. It was the best experience Ive had at an urgent care. The clinicians were very reassuring and approachable. They took the time to ask and answer any questions.

I had to see an MD due to sudden onset 102 fever. It came on suddenly after 5pm.... I was able to book an appointment hassle-free online. Minimal questions but still only needed to fill out 1 page when I got there. I had NO wait time! Staff was friendly. Facility was immaculate. I had blood and urine tests,as usual, but doctor was able to diagnose immediately with urinary infection. I had NO urinary symptoms so would never have guessed that. Now I am taking antibiotic and will soon be on the mend with no time off from work. Love the hours! All in all a great experience.

Ever watch a medical drama and say doctors offices are never that modern and sleek and clean? Well this one is! Went at 9:45 am on a Wednesday. No wait. M.A. staff was great and the P.A. was thorough, super nice and friendly. Got an x-ray, diagnosis and some treatment in no time at all. I definitely have my go-to for when my Primary Care Physician is too booked up.

Visit was very quick and to-the-point. Provider Addressed thoroughly my urgent issue with focus and professionalism. The reception staff and medical assistance were also quite helpful. Overall it was a very good experience and I would highly recommend.

Those employees are the first impression and she was wonderfully friendly and attentive. The way a person wants to be greeted. I went at 8:30 am on a Thursday, and I was the only patient there. That, of course, added to the positive experience.

They were rude over the phone, when i got there with a cut in my left thumb i just walked in and lady told me to read the instructions and wait outside very rude. With the pain in my finger i didnt even pay attention to the signs that were on the front door. So i went outside read the instructions it said i had to register online and wait in the car. So i tried with my one hand to register and it said for the time tomorrow at 8:17 a.m like really! I just left and went to the hospital.

First visit ever. Checked in and got registered almost immediately. Seating was super spacious & there are even charging stations next to every other seat, I thought was pretty neat. Staff was super friendly & office was very clean. I gave my symptoms, was seen by a physician, and given flu medication. The script was sent directly to my pharmacy waiting for me. I was out in less than 45 minutes. Way faster than my primary care physicians office would ever be. I recommend this office to anyone looking for quick urgent care! Way to go Northwell Health.

I went to this so called urgent healthcare on Tuesday, six days ago with severe muscular and back pain. The PA gave me steroids and muscle relaxers and said a Northwell orthopedist would contact me and I would see the orthopedist in a couple of days. By Friday, I had not heard anything including even a courtesy follow up. I called and the person answering the call took a while to confirm that I had been in there and when she did locate my chart she said I was in the system and an orthopedist would be calling me asap. I told her I was concerned that when the prednisone ran out on Saturday, I would be in horrific pain again and unable to sleep. Well, it is 2 AM Monday morning and I am in excruciating pain unable to sit or lie down. This is absurd and the worst medical treatment I have ever received.

I went here because CityMD (where I have been previously and recommend) was closed and I didnt want to wait in the ER. I was seen quickly and the staff is pleasant and friendly. They asked nothing about my medical history, aside from in relation to this visit. The unqualified person who calls with results doesnt even know how to read labs. Luckily, I had accessed them myself. It also took 8 days to get a phone call from them. (Heck, CityMDs doctor and PA both called within the week just to check on me, even after confirming my labs.) Again, luckily I had already contacted my PCP. Even my busy PCP has a medical professional call, if not herself personally, especially with such serious concerns.If you have anything more than a simple injury or infection, I would suggest you go elsewhere. They are not equipped to handle anything more complicated than a sprained ankle or strep throat, and even then, please follow up with your doctor.Im sure Northwell will reply to this, but do they honestly want a recap of my experience in order to improve? I highly doubt that.This office really dropped the ball, in several areas. Thank goodness I was able to stay on top of things despite still being quite ill.

They took an X-Ray sent home told no break. They call back next day claiming that there is a small buckle fracture.
