I love Ulta Beauty. This location always has a great variety of products and helpful, friendly staff. Today, Alex was nice, helped me find a few things I was looking for, and was very knowledgeable about everything she showed me. I highly recommend this location.

Decided to go to Ulta Beauty Salon for the first time and so happy I did! I had Ashely cut my hair and give me a deep conditioning treatment, she listened to exactly what I wanted! I also didnt have to wait long upon arrival for my appointment, they took me in right away. It is very rare to find a salon that has reasonable prices and does great work, Im glad I did and will definitely be back! :)

I got my hair cut by Ashley there last week she completely butchered my hair because she was too busy paying attention to everything else going on instead of focusing where she was cutting. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but she needs to pay more attention to what she’s doing. She also was extremely rough with the brush pulling my hair I had a headache by the time she was done.

Had long hair and wanted to try getting a short hair cut only to be left with very choppy uneven layers. Looks nothing like the picture I showed for reference. First and last time using salon. . .

Very nice make up store. Staff is very nice and great at what they do! I went in for some of the services they offer (not so sure if it’s with their rewards program but if you do sign up there is more benefits from the program!) and was pretty impressed and amazed. One of the services I went in for was hair. Walked into the store one day spoke with a stylist on what I was looking for booked appointment (this also can be done online on their website) and I was set. I went in for a haircut and blowout. My stylist did such a good job I was astonished with her work. She was also very nice and provided me with great information on how to achieve what look I was going for.

Went here to pick up a few bottle of perfume for wife on Christmas Eve. In spite of the crowd it was extremely evident that that have great team members! Wish I had the name of the person whom helped me choose my gift for was extremely knowledgeable and professional! When I went to the back of the HUGE / HUGE LINE I said to myself hope I get out of here in an hour. LOL. Team members were quick, respectful and Was out within ten minutes. God Bless

Amazing store. After going to an Ulta Beauty at Massapequa Park, I left frustrated and uncomfortable. Everyone at this store in the mall were really friendly, helpful, and non-judgmental. If youre new to make-up and dont know where to start they will help you find anything you need and answer all your questions. They let me return a product that I bought from a different store earlier that day. I didnt have a receipt, but they were able to look up the information using my phone number from my Ulta account.

I love this Ulta Hair Salon!!! My favorite hairdressers are Maribell & Theresa (the Manager). These ladies are highly skilled, extremely talented professionals. The hours are great also. And because they are Retail-if you ever need your hair & makeup done on an off holiday (like I did many years ago for a July 4th wedding) chances are that they Will be open. Also-everyone Throughout the store is extremely kind, helpful & courteous....

Well that was awkward. I love Ulta and am thankful for their great product range. But yesterday I bought an Estée Lauder serum only to get home, open the packaging, and realize the bottle inside was completely empty (?!). I came back today to explain the situation and was thankfully issued a refund. But the whole exchange was strange: no apology, no eye contact, sideways glances between the employees. *Awkward*. Id come back but I have actually been yelled at in this same Ulta store previously for opening up products to inspect them before purchasing. I think Ill be shopping elsewhere from now on...

Love love love my stylist Theresa since day one she has known exactly how to give me the color and style I need. I have been dying my hair for over 22 years and Ive never been happier. Ulta beauty salin kudos for the amazing Salon manager Theresa she is professional accommodating and I will never go anywhere else........unless she leaves then I will follow her 😘

Loved the Salon at Ulta in Bay Shore. I scheduled my appointment online and got an appointment the following day. Thomas was great! He was fun and creative! He did a great job on my color and did an amazing cut! I would highly recommend him!!!!!!

Work in the mall and our bathroom was getting fixed. Security guard said we have to make a purchase in order to use it. I mean first of all there is NY state law that prohibits that but the fact that we work in the same mall and still gotrefused is crazy.

I normally shop at an Ulta closer to me but figured I would give the bayshore location a shot. The staff are mildly knowledgable about their products and Im being generous by say mildly. They also seem indifferent to making a sale. I went in ready to purchase a number of items and was so turned off by their lack of enthusiasm to make my shopping experience enjoyable. I had a similiar experience at the Sephora located in the same mall. Bayshore mall overall is trash. Id probably have been better off driving out of my way to Huntington.

Very organized and had what I was looking for. The sales person that attended me was knowledgeable and gave me detailed introductions on what I needed and how to apply a hair toner at home.

Store associate Katherine was awesome! Tarte shape tape concealer shade was so off and she realized the problem and went over and beyond to help me. Thank you! Ulta for great staff.

Worst ever!!!! Just called to book a blow out appointment.... while inquiring where they’re located, the lady who answered the phone said “I’m going to transfer you because I don’t have time right now....”SO RUDE. Horrible customer service. Never been told that at ANY salon while booking a service!

Worst store ever! Tara the manager is by far the worst person I have ever dealt with! Disgusting! Dont waste your time or money there. They treat you like a second class citizen. When she gets fired, is when I will go back there. Maybe.

I went to get my eyebrows done for I have always gone to Ulta for them, but when Deanna worked there. She recently left and I was sad for she was the absolute BEST with the eyebrows. Now they have someone else and she is horrible. She really messed up my eyebrows for I always had natural thick eyebrows, and now I have to use a pencil to fix them; I NEVER HAD TO USE A PENCIL till now.

Well... they followed me around the store but my actual sales associate was helpful and I got the product that I wanted.

I was in this store today, the sweet cashier, Anna or Amanda was her name. She is always top notch. A supervisor who smelled like she had a liquid lunch, belittled her in front of many customers KUDOS to Tara for making me take my business elsewhere..... Btw the cashier was in tears... I am seriously offended by the treatment of this sweet young girl.... Corporate has already heard from me!!!!!!

Nice store very clean shout out to the girls that do hair in the back they do good work and there friendly.

There’s security guards that constantly check on you and it makes me feel like im some kind of thief or something when all i’m doing is looking at makeup labels. Then none of the workers really want to help you or talk to you unless it’s to complain about their job.

Went in with my girlfriend and a security continued asking me if i stole a highlighting pencil all because i looked spanish she asked no one else in the store and kept following me i was extremely offended if you are a person of color or minority you should avoid this place because apparently they only treat you equal if you look like a rich white person

Today me and my family were in today with our babies strolling through the store when this one security guard kept following us asking if they were anything she can help us with I politely said no thank you, she Consistently kept asking as we were a distraction or even worst she was Directly making her appearance so that we know she was there watching, as if we were going to take something. Our visit there was to get services for the eyelashes. Before buying the eyelashes we asked if they were an available associate to apply them we were told yes and to come back in few minutes. Going back after a few minutes we were later told they were running late and that they were book. Smh bad for business. Sephora on the other hand were nice and customer friendly. This Ulta location was an disappointment.

My mom friends told us they have new beauty store at the Bayshore mall. So me and my mom went to the mall.When i frist found what is ULTA to me.me and my mom went inside and we did buy some stuff and it was the best stuff i buy.. But i been loveing that store You just NEVER know what you found in that store it surprised y0u they alway have new item at ULTA that why i love that store .i been loveing it i been there like so like many time and it one of my favorite beauty product . i found lotion in ultra and it smell like cupcake. If you want the name of the lotion is call buttercream cupcake body sorbet. It the best one i have i buy and it smell so good . yes i would buy it again Causes it really smell good.i go to bayshore mall there so that where i get. And i also Buy some other thing to.But think they have ultra Smithtown mall. My friends love that store to. Lol i got her into 😍😍i hope it never get out of business that best stoe i ever go.

This store is overwhelming for your sensory. I wouldnt recomend going in unless you know exactly what you are getting and wear its located.

I hate this damn store with a passion. I only come here because its the closest one to my house so its really convenient. I was in there a few days ago and it still bothers me to this day. The security guard who goes by the name of Darnell kept following and walking around every damn aisle I was in. He even walked right past next to me when I was looking at skincare products and I was the only person in the aisle. Im beginning to think one of the workers whispered something in her ear piece when I got to the register bc I heard her say his name. Idk if it was a coincidence or if something was purposely said but regardless, I spend way too much damn money in that place to be followed around like some type of animal. I shouldnt be made to feel uncomfortable when Im giving this business my hard earned money.

This store was a mess. Any Nyx product I looked for wasnt in the proper spot, there werent samples of things I wanted to try (Nyx products). I walked out without buying anything and wont be going back. Also didnt see any store staff to ask for help, except behind the register. I literally walked out and over to Sephora instead.

Disappointed that the stock isn’t replenished regularly. Specifically hair products not always there. Weak management?

I was very disturbed with the security guard , I was looking to buy new products and he constantly was on top of me meanwhile I was just observing the product.This made me feel insanely uncomfortable as if I was going to steal something , I directed to the manager my situation and only received an “okay” this should have been handled more properly . Absolutely poor customer service and lack of respect I was disgusted .

Like all Ultas his is a beauty lovers paradise but this one always seems to be a bit disheveled.
