The entire team was fantastic with our (almost) 2 year old daughter. She was relaxed the entire time and enjoyed when Katie showed her all the dental tools and how they worked to help her relax. Per usual Dr Mason was wonderful as well, giving our daughter plenty of stuffed animals to hold on to and keep her comfortable!

Dr. Donahue was amazing. I have only had one filling my whole life and it fell out this past weekend. I was able to get in fast and was SUPER nervous but she did an amazing job and made it as relaxing and pain free as possible!

My temporary crown was a perfect fit on the first cementing and has stayed in place through all my rigorous chewing Gives me hope for the permanent crown to fit as well!

I would have loved to be able to go get my cleaning with Dr. Mason and her staff. I read wonderful reviews and was willing to pay out of pocket since there arent great options in Bay City for a dentist despite having dental insurance. When I called a month ago to set up the appointment I was quoted $300 for an initial exam and cleaning, when I called to confirm the appointment 3 days ago that was changed to $400, and today when they called to confirm that changed to $450-550. I already have my x-rays in hand, so this would just be for an initial visit and cleaning. Why did the price change three times? Im very disappointed with the process and lack of consistency in pricing.

I’m one who has always been afraid of going to the dentist. Dr. Mason takes all those fears away. Her new office is welcoming and the staff is very friendly. Dr. Mason has helped me with my dental issues by literally holding my hand and being patient and understanding. She is great with my daughter who loves visiting the dentist! So, the last time I shared with regard to Dr. Masons practice my featured term was professional. This time around Id like to share another P word -- personable. Dr. Mason and her staff are always kind and concerned about a patients comfort.This respect and caring starts at the front desk. The personnel always have a warm greeting for you when you walk through the door, work hard to accommodate your scheduling needs, make sure you always have an opportunity to question them about insurance and billing, and their flexibility is second to none.Bravo!

My daughter had an accident where 2 teeth were chipped, misaligned, and was experiencing pain over a weekend. They were able to fit her in the following Monday for a consult. After the dentist examined her, she sent in her office manager to schedule the followup appointment to fix her teeth for OVER 2 MONTHS LATER. After calling the office to complain, they did move the appointment to 2 1/2 weeks. Considering that the office is not open on Fridays (saved for special appointments, etc), the pain my daughter was experiencing, and the aesthetics involved, I found their response to be completely inadequate and lacked compassion. They even made a remark that at least wearing a mask will cover her mouth. We called around and was able to find SEVERAL quality dentists that will fix her teeth within 2 days. We will not be back.

Extremely expensive and so unorganized with accounting . Does not accept Northwood University insurance. Paid three times as much as prior dentist and ended up getting two overpayment checks back from this place. Will be searching for a dentist that accepts our insurance.

After several attempts to find a dentist I found Dr. Mason. She is AMAZING!! She listens to her patients, develops a plan of care with the patient, and completes all aspects in a given time frame. She does NOT drag out or do ant unnecessary work. I will RECOMMEND her and her staff to EVERYONE!!

I absolutely love this place. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because they dropped Blue Cross insurance and now I’ll have to pay out of pocket and then contact my insurance and have them reimburse me for my dental charges. If I ever need any major dental work done other than cleanings, I know I won’t be able to afford to pay out of pocket upfront and will have to find another dentist. I’m super super bummed.

Dr Mason has the most up-to-date, cozy, and clean office I’ve ever seen. The equipment was cutting edge and everything was done immaculately.The staff was incredible. Dr Mason herself was warm and caring. She gave plenty of explanations and suggestions for moving forward with my dental care. My hygienist, Katie, was very funny and made sure my visit never had a dull moment. She even was kind enough to fake laugh at my attempts at humor.I’d mention everyone else I met on my first visit, but this review is already way too long for most people to read.Do yourself a favor and go visit the best dentist in the area.

Mason Dental has completely changed my experience with dentists. They are friendly, professional, experienced, kind, caring, and acutely aware of how you, the patient, is doing. They are GENTLE and very good at what they do. They also do pediatric dentistry which is where I will be taking my son when it’s time for him to start going. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Just started working in the area and needed a new dentist. Dr. Masons office was a great place to choose. The entire staff was very nice and went above and beyond to me feel very welcome. Looking forward to many years of doing business with them.

I came in for a cleaning. Of course other stuff was done like an exam and x-rays. I told my new hygienist I just wanted a regular cleaning but she explained I had to have the extra cleaning a pariadental maintenance because thats what I had last time amd now we cant step backwards.... bull. So now I had to pay $76.50 out of pocket after insurance for a cleaning that should be covered 100% under my insurance. Im not paying this much every time I come in for a cleaning. The hygienist was very nice and helpful I jist dont understand why I cant just get a regular cleaning thatnis covered by my insurance.

This was my first visit to the office to establish care and for a cleaning. I was very impressed by the entire staff. Everyone was caring, friendly, and thorough. Dr. Mason herself took a lot of time to discuss my oral health and treatment options with me. The hygienist did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. She was gentle and made sure I was comfortable, plus she explained everything she did. I am very happy that I chose this office to obtain my dental care from and look forward to my visits in the future.

Just the one phone call experience doesnt make me want to step foot in the building. The lady was not helpful on the phone when I was trying to figure out an appt that was rescheduled from my retired Dentist to Dr. Mason. I have not received any info or confirmation on my appt which is fine... They are in transition I get that but when i was asking the lady about my records and info and about the previous staff she was not forthcoming or helpful. She had a rude tone and what is worse to me for someone who answers the phone was short and not helpful with answering my questions. All she told me was I couldnt get a hold of you as if she was defending herself. All I was doing was trying to sort out my appt and when and where I need to reschedule with them but I couldnt get that far with her it was like she shut me down. There was no explanation of any process of the transitioning from one dentist office to the next, there was no offer to reschedule even a temporary appt.

We had a great experience with Dr. Mason and staff. The entire staff was very friendly and informative. I was also impressed with not having a long wait to be seen. I have a 5 year old and they were great with him. He commented after we left saying, “I love going to the dentist!”

This office is amazing! From the staff that greet you when you arrive to the Dr. herself, everyone is super kind. They treated myself, my kids, and my husband like family the minute we walked in the door. Dr Mason always remembers my name, even when I’m there with my kids and not as a patient. Nothing is rushed, all costs are explained prior to work being done, they have a great reminder system for appointments, they use all natural products... I have nothing negative to say at all about this practice. It is family oriented, I will never go anywhere else.

I love Dr. Mason and her office staff. I would recommend her to anyone. I have been going to Dr. Mason’s office for a few years now. I was hoping to bring my family over to her as well, but....The only problem is it is best if you are in network.Dr. Mason’s office does not work with out of network patients. They have a new policy.....you have to pay upfront before they send a claim to the insurance company. They say the difference will be reimbursed by check via mail from the insurance company. My insurance company will not. The check should be coming from Dr. Mason’s office.I have been a loyal patient and I love the office staff. I am heart broken that I have to go to someone else.Just make sure you are in network before you make an appointment.
