Very rude employees. Which is unfortunate since the only reason they have a job is because people donate from the kindness of their hearts. I was so upset that I picked up my kids and left my basket and things. No way will I support such a rude store.The prices are ridiculous. I could buy new half the things there for a few less dollars.

Go to another location. This was is a disaster. Too much stuff that none wants. Other locations are more organized.

I usually love this Goodwill. It is organized and the people are usually nice but I showed up 10 minutes before they closed, I was going to go in and get a black picture frame and leave, but didnt even get the chance to go in. An older gentleman was out in the parking lot, that worked there, getting carts and deterred me from going in saying they were closing in 5 minutes and just continued to stand and stare at me until I walked back to my car. Looked at the clock in my car and had 10 minutes. I only needed a frame. Didnt even get a chance to say that. I just found it super rude. Ive worked and managed at many different retail places and never deterred people from coming in because it is almost close. Why be open until 7 if you dont want people to come in until 7? I understand the close time and understood the time I had but was am now made to feel like an inconvenience. I should also add that Im not someone who leaves bad reviews places or confronts managers about things because I understand that things happen. You could check my profile. Ive left maybe 3 reviews and they were all good ones. This really made me angry. Bad customer service on his part. Youre open until 7pm. Not 630. 645. 650. Not every customer that comes that close to closing time is going to inconvenience you by making you stay after 7.

I have quite a few things to say about this Goodwill location:First of all, I want to start by saying something positive, they staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. Well done! But, the kind of people that shop here, not so much. The environment is very snobbish and posh, so within 10 minutes, I already felt like I didnt belong there.Secondly, they have A LOT, and I truly mean A LOT, of merchandise from Pink/Victorias Secret. So, if youre one that steers towards that brand, I recommend this location.Next point, Im not happy about the prices at all. I dont know if this is just me being bitter that I found a vintage Juicy Couture bag over there yesterday, only to find that the price tag said $39.99, but seriously what are these people thinking?? I realize thrifting may be the cool new, it thing, but this location treats the prices like youre buying them firsthand.So overall, not impressed :(

I have come to this location weekly or biweekly since it has opened. I love(d) this place. So very love(d) this place. The employees have always been good, it’s organized and has a wide range of items.However, over the last 6 months the prices have tripled! Regular tshirts are now $6.99, shoes have gone up exponentially. Prices across the board are so high it’s not even a thrifting experience anymore. I can literally get the same Target tshirt new at Target for the same amount of money. I know prices have gone up everywhere. I’m not 100% educated on their business model, but it would seem that supply chain costs are lower than most retail considering the items are literally dropped off at their doorstep for free. Their is no cost for manufacturing. Hopefully their employees got wage increases, but doesn’t seemingly explain a triple price increase. It really feels like price gouging at this point, and I’m sad about it.

Prices are ridiculous!! Id rather to buy new and pay a couple dollars more than buy at goodwill. And the restroom is disgustingly dirty and smelly. Get someone to clean the bathroom!!! Its easy to charge more with free merchandise.

It is a great Goodwill Store. A lot of quality merchandise. Prices are fairly reasonable. Staff is friendly. Your purchases help keep people in jobs and retraining. I think their prices have increased, but it is a savings over buying a new item somewhere else. They have a big selection in clothing, books & household items.

Usually not too crowed. Fun place to spend some time browsing, never know what kind of deal your going to find.

Went here a couple days ago with my sisters. We started to approach the door and an employee named Dan told us that they were at capacity (covid restrictions) and that we couldnt come in yet. Perfectly fine. So we waited outside the store until people came out so we could go in. A couple people walked out and we proceeded to go in. Dan continued to tell us that they were at capacity and we couldnt come in. We reminded him that three people had just walked out and we were three people. All he said was okay thanks. Sorry were at capacity. We start to walk away and two people walk up after and he lets them in without saying a word. I dont know if it was because of the way we looked or what but we felt completely disrespected and discriminated against. I understand the capacity limit but that means when people walk out, that many can come in. But he chose to deny us and let others in instead. I called immediately after and Dan answered and just kept repeating that he was sorry and they were at capacity. You need to retrain your employees on discrimination and how to handle store operations with limited capacity. You dont get to pick and choose who can come in and who cant simply because of the way they look. Ill be contacting corporate tomorrow.

Very well organized store. We have found plenty of good deals here on everything from home decor to clothing. One of the best in the Chicagoland area!!Hate waiting outside in line though...

Largest stand alone store I have ever seen. Good variety of home goods and exceptional selection of clothes for the entire family, and their friends also. Friendly and helpful employees.

Apparently the changing rooms have enough of a gap in them to see the other person so proceed with caution.

U know why i give this store 2 stars is because 3 BAD things about this store some of this are already been ward that number 1. the second thing is theirs freaking one cam come on goodwill. last part about this store is THE TOY AREA ITS A MASS WHY WHO DONE THIS?!. 1 good part is low prices.edit: well the toy area is still a mass it been 3 days when i went to that store.

Tried to donate clothes and they stole my bins and refused to give them back. Beware if they open your car they take stuff you dont want them to touch they wont give it back. I saw them do it and asked right away not to touch those. Still refused to give them back.Absolutely ridiculous 🙄.

Found a beautiful wooden Dresser that i would have loved to take home, but sadly, had to leave behind due to my minuscule vehicle, and lack of muscle. Hopefully it will still be there when i go back for it, having borrowed a larger set of both wheels, and arms.

The part I personally like about this place is the organization they have for drop offs. The store it self is very well organized from books clothing etc. registers always have a person attending customers.

I enjoy going to the Goodwill stores in the area, and this one is by far the best. It is organized (as organized as a thrift store can be) and easy to move around in. Really why I am writing this review is because of my cashier Teri. She made the experience even better. She is so friendly! I am always happy when I get her as my cashier!

Used to give this Goodwill 5 stars but have to drop them down now due to them raising prices in silly areas.The Good.... large store that has room in the middle for a furniture section. Lots of games and toys to select from.The Bad..... the reason they have so many toys and games to choose from is because the prices on them is quite high for a goodwill. Was there yesterday and a bunch of board games were priced at $5 to $10. I even saw two different games that had multiple copies and each were priced differently. That shows me they dont have a good grasp on communication and fair pricing. Items in the glass case are based on Ebay asking prices, not Ebay sold prices, big difference.

Great place. I buy all books for grandchildren there. Look every week. The titles I want eventually appear. Some brand new. Foolish to pay retail, or even discounted books. Used my $5.00 coupon today too. 6 books = 4 cents

Prices seem to be really high for a thrift store. It had been a while since Ive shopped here, and I was a little shocked with my most recent visit on the prices. You can definitely find some good bargins and a few unique items. However, if youre already good at finding great deals, you would be better off shopping with clearance sales and coupons. I find a lot of things that Target donates was cheaper at Target during their clearance prices!

I shop at Goodwill stores frequently, and this store happens to be my favorite store. The staff is always very helpful. The merchandise is in good condition and many still have new tags attached. I find unexpected great deals at this store!! Did I mention they play awesome music.

They just updated their store, prices went up a bit, but still fantastic values! This store is clean and well organized. Very little junk here unlike other Goodwills in the Western Suburbs that I have visited. Its a large store, too. Staff are helpful :)

Wow! This Good will location is HUGE! They have everything! My favorite part of this location is their large book selection. I just love their books! You can find anything!

Goodwell on Randall Rd in Geneva is the neatest so organize store I have ever seen. It was a joy to be shopping at there store. You can tell they take a lot of pride in there store.GOOD JOB GUYS!!!!

Good finds however, they seem to want to charge the most they can for obviously very used items.. Sometimes charging full retail price for an item.. Why are you trying to gouge the customers? Saw a couch there with stains and missing pieces and they wanted $700 for it because it has a designer name.. They are missing the whole point of a resale shop.

I stopped in the St. Charles Good Will store. I didnt buy a thing but as you can see they have a pretty good turn out for theyre things. I did notice one thing in particular. Im sure that you will notice it lol..........

This is a busy store! They make some effort in arranging there items on the front end caps. Usually the store items look as if they are just thrown on the shelf and furniture difficult to get to. The store is not real organized. In fairness, The other day it looked like they were making an effort to clean and organize the items.

I have been to this goodwill plenty of times and I have some concerns regarding Prices like a lot of the electronics can be over priced and at times certain things in the store can be in pretty shabby condition. However besides that the staff are very friendly and helpful the store it self is very clean Im just disappointed with the prices with the majority of things like one of the reasons why I would shop in thrift shops and certain websites is to not to go for retail and to get great deals but its unfortunate that goodwill of all places are doing this especially when all of this items are donated kinda scummy in my opinion.

Go every once in awhile n its interesting to c what they have. I bought some books, a couple shirts n assorted candles. We think they moved things around n cleaned thinks up.

This store is always clean and employees are courteous. Prices here, however, suddenly jumped from $2-3 dollars to $6-10 on items I used to look for. Rarely a good record or cd and nothing of value in the locked case. Almost seems like anything good is going to the internet at a huge mark up.

Goodwill is a thrift store in which people donate their used items and many other things so that others may purchase it at a lower cost. I like that aspect about it. But the reason I rated it so low is because the goodwill management staff are said to treat their employees with little or no respect. Their employees are doing their job correctly making the store look very well kept together and clean (except the floor). Now back to the managers poorly treating the employees, I came in a few weeks ago and this young man was having a rough time at the register because there were so many customers waiting with little help for the cashier. A manager soon walked over and threw a fit on him because he didnt call for backup. But he did twice and nobody came. I think the managers need to listen up some more and treat their employees with respect and nothing less than a human. Goodwill isnt a not for profit store. Dont shop here if you dont like cranky managers making the employees stress themselves at work.

Honestly like many people have pointed out prices are way high for a thrift shop...Also beware I took a shirt for 99 cents went to paid and they remove the tag and told me is 3.99? For a use red polo? Nop I can go to oldnavy and get a new one for a fraction of that.Staff kinda ignore me while I was waiting in line to pay and she took another costumer that wasn’t in line...Another cashier had to attend me.Definitely not coming back here.

I recently overheard a rather arrogant manager of sorts telling a customer Thats what it sells for on Ebay so thats what we expect Really? He is clearly still a kid at heart so I will give him a bit of break due to still having to deal with adolescent hormones but someone really needs to teach this kid about customer service.

Use to be a good store now its just dumpy and overcrowded with people standing around waiting for good items to come along all day. You can literally go there at 10 in the morning, leave, come back at 5 pm and the same people are still there waiting. Ruins it for normal customers.

It was a terrible experience. Too many rude people. Pushing people out of the way, shoving plates and glasses back onto the shelves only to have them fall and shatter. Not caring that they are cleaned up. Kids breaking toys and no parents around.
