The office staff were all very polite & friendly while also being very efficient. Dr. Anderson ‘s assistant (nurse) Ms. Castaneda was equally as polite & friendly, making “ small talk” with me which immediately put me at ease. Dr. Anderson was very compassionate & understanding of my knee pain & even though I had only met with him twice, was extremely caring & patient & is currently getting me on the road to recovery. I have “sung his praises” to anyone who is interested in a great Orthopedic Doctor!!!

I hold Dr. Mark Gross in the highest esteem. He has done what doctors for 20 years could not -figure out what was causing my back and hip pain. But his diagnoses of my condition was right on the mark. I have recommended him to family, friends and clients and everyone has thanked me for the referral. His patients feel that he cares about their situation - he has never made me feel rushed at my appointments and he listens. Few doctors these days take the time to actually explain in laymans terms what your condition is and what can be done to help you. I am very grateful that I was recommended to him.

I’m posting after my initial visit, I’m very impressed with scheduling my appointment less than 24 hours after making initial phone call to Dr Steve Gross. The staff is very caring and helpful and Dr. Gross is very professional. The scheduled surgery date is very soon after the visit which always helps. I will say that the office decor needs updating but discount that due to the past year of the pandemic. Post surgery review to follow.

I have been seeing Dr. Mark Gross for over 20 years, he is excellent and does his best in taking care of me. I also see Dr. Cummins for my shoulder, he is also excellent. And I see Dr. Schneider who handles certain injections and nerve damage. I am comfortable with this team and would highly recommend Illinois Bone and Joint .

I was a bit lost when Dr. Perlmutter retired. He referred me to Dr. Brebach who has cured my pain with 2 spinal fusion surgeries. He is a very attentive surgeon and paired with Allison they are a fantastic team. Highly recommended!

I had a reverse shoulder replacement on 1/14/21. I cannot express how pleased I am with the results. In my case there was almost no pain after surgery and I am doing post-op exercises recommended by Dr. Cummins to achieve mobility and strength. Im so pleased with the diagnostic, surgical, and rehabilitation processes. Dr. Cummins is an excellent surgeon and his staff is excellent as well!!

The staff was Friendly and thorough.Appointment was on time to the minute witch is a nice change not having to wait at a Doctors office. There was definitely a communication issue in that I was coming into the office for a ACL tear to the right knee. The Doctor that saw me only did knee replacement surgery not ACL reconstruction. The office knew that was the reason for my visit. I took a day off work, spent 3 hours of my time and $50 co pay only to find out I’m seeing the wrong Doctor. Now have to take another day off work, another 3 hours of my time and yes another $50 copay to see the Doctor I should of seen at the first appointment.

I was having a lot of pain in my knee, they got me in the same day. Did not have to wait long, staff was friendly.. The physician drained the fluid and gave me a injection, was feeling better the next day. I highly recommend Illinois Bone and Joint.

Dr Mark Gross was very compassionate and caring as was his staff. I saw him for the first time approximately 3 months prior to this appointment. I was in the most excruciating pain of my life and had been in the ER 3 times in a 48 hour period. They didn’t know what was causing my pain so they recommended that I see an orthopedic doctor. That was the very next day. He walked in the room and took one look at my left arm and said, “you have shingles!” In all fairness, the rash was not present until about the 8th day, which was the day I did the walk in clinic and met Dr Gross. Needless to say, they started me on the appropriate medications and I went home and suffered for two months.This same arm with underlined issues was what brought me back to Dr Gross this time. He and his staff all said the same thing, Wow, you look much better since the last time we saw you!! But I was still having problems with that arm.He said there was inflammation in the shoulder and gave me a steroid injection. The day before I’d had my Pain Management Doctor give me a cortisone injection which did not do much to help the problem.I felt great when I left and was very happy.Thank you to he and his staff for caring and taking care of me. HUGS TO THEM ALL.

The staff are welcoming and efficient and made me feel at home right away. Doctor Cummins’ calm demeanor and avoidance of medical jargon is a real exception in the field, as is his willingness to answer any questions in a forthright and unassuming manner. I have had one knee surgery and shoulder therapy over the years to repair the stresses of tennis on my aging frame, and all of his work has been great. In fact, my wife and my son have also been attended to by doctor Cummins and we are all fans.

Dr. Jasonowicz is an outstanding podiatrist!! Hes performed several different procedures on my feet and Ive been extremely happy with the results!! I had surgery on my right foot in December 2019 and he did a wonderful job as Im still recovering. I highly recommend him for any podiatric needs!!

Dr Steven Gross is an exceptional surgeon and caring doctor. Ive had the great fortune to have him help me through a broken knee, knee replacement and hip replacement. Ive achieved fantastic results from both of my joint replacements and know that Dr Grosss surgical skill is tops. Joint replacement is never fun nor easy - but having the surgical part done right makes recovery easier and doable.

Staff is friendly. Dr. Brebach is friendly and easy to talk to about my issues.

I was referred to Dr. Basran for orthopedic surgery, specifically bunion surgery. When I called to make an appointment, I specifically told them _bunion surgery_. When I finally see the doctor, I found out Dr. Basran doesnt even do bunion surgery anymore. Why didnt they tell me that when I scheduled the appointment? Well, what a waste of time and money. I got the bill today. Guess what? Its over $300. THIS SUCKS.

I’ve had no problems with the actual doctors/surgical staff they have been helpful and prompt. However the reception and scheduling departments are horrendous. I was on hold for ten minutes to be transferred to the voicemail of a person who was supposed to call me over a week ago. The mri receptionist was very rude as well. And the information I received prior to my procedure was incorrect sending me to the wrong building and telling me not to eat for 8 hours when I could’ve eaten and had my coffee (I work nights and was going on after a shift) all in all not a place I’d recommend if you want to feel looked after and cared about by your heath care “team”.

Surgeons are great. The quality of the office staff is iffy - some are great. However one new hire seems to feel that it is her place to decide when prescriptions can be distributed. Not sure of her status but she’s definitely not a doctor or PA. She’s going to cost them some business!

They are excellent. Fantastic surgerical staff they even have a walk in orthopedic clinic. That Ive had to utilize on occasion.

Dr. Oryhon of Lake Cook Orthopedics is the consummate professional. He is a warm individual and a highly skilled doctor with a well trained and friendly staff that contributed to my hip replacement go like clockwork. His minimally invasive technique made my recuperation and rehab a breeze. FYI - I am a 71 year old male and was up and walking within hours of surgery.

Had knee surgery and back surgery. Both procedures turned out perfect. They were always fast, professional, and efficient. I would use only them for any and all future needs.

Staff was nice.Dr. Kang fine. Was supposed to get physical therapy but the order hasnt been received yet. Called twice and left messages but nobody returns the calls. Its been two weeks.

In 2017 my mother who was 92 years old broke her hip and it was replaced by Dr. Stephen Gross. Just a few months later she fell again and broke her other hip and it was repaired by Dr. Gross. My mother is now 93 years Old and gets around great thanks to this doctor.

Big SCAMERS - they will take your $ and not help you.Went twice for shoulder and wrist pain and issues.They spent only a couple minutes with me and told me there is nothing wrong but yet I still have pain.Prescribed a wrist brace for $80 which only costs $14 on Amazon and did nothing to help with pain.Charged me hundreds for appointment and x-rays as well.They really dont care about you and are only looking to take your money.Stay away from this business.

Thank you Dr. Brebach! I went from rolling around in a wheelchair to living life again. My spine fusion was life altering in a really good way. Almost three years later and doing great that is until someone rear-ended me a week ago! I live in Arizona now but would absolutely love to travel back to Barrington to have any other work done to my spine if needed. Thank you again. 🙌🏻

After I broke my wrist, a friend of mine referred me to Lake Cook Orthopedics. From my first visit I found Dr. Panchal and the staff to be caring, understanding and genuinely nice. So much so that I returned for treatment and surgery for my carpal tunnel. My experience with Lake Cook Orthopedics was so pleasant, I have referred family members and friends there.

I waited 45 minutes for my checkup,I was dismissed and my questions went unanswered,I left their completely confused and never got an answer to my problem ,Ill never go back to them.they are cold and uncaring.

Saw Dr Gross and have been waiting for follow up for months. Called him and Anna his assistant again after no follow up and received more lack of response. They were only interested in doing surgery the first time i saw them. Horrible follow up, rude front desk, and this practice is all about making profit. Sorry, but would not recommend.

The person who called me and left a message on my cellphone did not give me the correct address of the office that I have to go to, she just mentioned Canlan Sports Complex. I called the office before going to my appointment but no one was answering, so I went to the address that the urgent care provided to me. Of course I arrived at the wrong address, so I had to travel to the correct one and arrived 30 minutes late. When I arrived at the Canlan sports center where I have to see the Orthopedic MD, the receptionist was not helpful at all, instead she told me that I have to reschedule my appointment. I told her that I really need to see the MD because I am in a lot of pain and cannot wait one week later. I was in tears and left the office but NO APOLOGY WAS RECEIVED FROM THE RECEPTIONIST AT ALL!!! Instead, she was blaming me that I should have called if I have any questions, and they normally dont give the address to the patient. I DID CALL BEFORE I LEFT FOR MY APPOINTMENT BUT NO ONE WAS ANSWERING!!!. First of all, the receptionist should let me know that I have to arrive at a certain time, or if they have the forms for me to fill out ahead of time at their website, that could have eliminated the waiting time. I left the office without seeing the MD at all.

I hate to even give them on star. I called them 5 days ago for knee pain and could barely walk. Left a message. Their voice mail said they call back within 24 hours. It is now 5 days later and they still HAVENT RETURNED MY CALL. I was able to get in with another orthopedic office in Barrington a few days ago.

I visited Lake Cook Orthopedics recently following an accidental injury to my right shoulder.I directly interacted with Craig Cummins MD and his physician assistant, Lauren. My experience in dealing with these health care professionals was excellent. They are both intelligent, well-trained and patient-oriented.Dr. Cummins carefully conducted the physical exam, performed an ultrasound and provided a steroid shoulder injection along with oral steroids to relieve inflammation. An MRI was ordered and perfomed promptly within one day. It revealed a partial rotator cuff tear.At my follow-up visit (again conveniently scheduled the day after the MRI) the imaging study was reviewed thoroughly, specific recommendations were given to promote healing, a recommendation for physical therapy was provided - and most importantly, all of my questions were answered, to my satisfaction, in a completely unhurried fashion. Dr. Cummins takes the time to listen and respond.Dr. Cummins and Lauren make a great team - and I am grateful for the compassionate care that they provided. I would enthusiastically recommend this practice to anyone with orthopedic needs.

Receptionist was rude. Dr. Snyder said I would not need to come back in to get a refill if I threw out my back again. When I did throw out my back again I called in for a refill as instructed and the receptionist said there was nothing she could do. Either she lied or the dr. Lied. Either way Ill find a new Dr.

Dr Surbhi Panchal operated on the little finger of my right hand to correct a condition where my finger started to curl towards the palm. The surgery was so good there was no pain after the anesthesia wore off. Dr. worked closely with the occupational therapist during post surgery therapy visits until the recovery was complete. I would most certainly recommend Dr Panchal to anyone considering surgery.Bradford Miller

Dr. Steven Gross and Mark Rintz were great to work with through my torn bicep repair procedure.Dr. Gross had me scheduled for surgery within a week of sustaining the injury.The procedure was a success thanks to Dr. Gross. In less than 5 months I am fully recovered, and would never know I had an injury or surgery.Dr. Gross is an awesome Dr., and his knowledge and support from pre-op through my final appointment helped make this experience exceed all of my expectations.I would highly recommend Dr. Gross and Lake Cook Orthopedics for your Ortho needs.

Surgery and prescription refills are fine. Office rescheduling and wait times are inappropriate though. Appointment times are appointment times. Having to wait an hour past that time is just bad business.

I have had shoulder surgery with Dr. Craig Cummins and Reconstruction of my knew replacement (original knee replacement failed.. different Dr.) with Dr. Jeremy Oryhon. Both are excellent Drs. I highly recommend both of them. Shoulders are doing great and my knee reconstruction was excellent... Recovery was so fast, I am still in awe. It was nothing like the original knee replacement. Physical therapy was a breeze this time!! Cant say enough good things about my experience!

I was referred to Dr. Brebach from my pm Dr. I really enjoyed his caring and always wanting me to feel better. It has been a long journey due to the fact of me smoking (or aleast that is what the Dr said lol) but I sure it doesnt help. But anyways hes a very kind doctors aways happy. The whole staff is amazing. UPDATE: I had my 2nd neck surgery on Nov 8 2016 and Im still having a hard time and alot of pain. But I have to be patient. I trust Dr Brebach 1000% I wouldnt go any where else. Hes always been patient with me because of my pain tolerance ( i have very little pain tolerance) but has always understood.His new nurse Kim is amazing way better than the last. She is also patient with my.So thumbs up Dr Breback for that change and for you to not have changed. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone needs his help. Thanks Dr. Brebach I know have been a pain but youve handle me with alot of patients and kindness!!!! UPDATE ON 3/5/18 I havent seen Dr Breback in awhile and I feel as if maybe hes either way to busy to show that he cares or because a less I have 2 have another surgery Im not that important. My opinion. Things with all Dr are very different they Ive been his patient since March 2014 and I feel he kinda forgot about me. Anyways still in alot of pain but I will have to deal with it.

Im really upset with Lake Cook Ortho. I got an MRI done 2 months ago, I get a medication prescription from the Drs assistant now a month ago, that i was told would help the swelling. Now my arm hurts more and i cant seem to get anyone on the phone. I go over there and the doctor is busy. I try to setup an appointment and the doctor will call me to setup something. Yet still nothing. Im discouraged being this is my first real injury and i cant seem to get help. Now i have to start this process over with another company, doctor and probabaly start this whole process over. Im very upset with Lake Cook Ortho, If they just wanted my money atleast they could follow up and keep taking it. Not just leave people in the dark. ThanksI would NOT recommend anyone to them EVER!Second portion of this. After 2 months i have still yet to hear anything from them. No follow up or anything from anyone in their office. Its very disappointing. I have had to restart this whole situation with a second opinion.

Same issues as some of the other reviews. Takes days for return phone calls for prescription. Asked them to check with my insurance for a procedure and its been 10 days. Insurance co says they havent heard from my doctor yet. I can barely walk with knee pain, Im switching to a different doctor that cares about patients.

If you have an appointment, you might as well show up 20 minutes late, they do not keep appointment times. Dr. gave very limited information, had to get a complete diagnosis and treatment plan from a physical therapists. Your time has no value at this place.
