Sanfilippo Foundation stands for so much, until you have witnessed for youself one of the finest collection of some of the most gorgeous musical devices ever created, including the worlds largest theater pipe organ. You will not be able to understand by photographs until you experience it for yourself.You couldn’t begin to imagine what a beautiful tribute that Jasper Sanfilippo along with the entire sanfilippo family, associates and not to mention so many volunteers of what Jasper was able to save by collecting these treasures himself with the intent to share with the world.Over the years for the preservation and education of some of the finest musical instruments you have ever witnessed. Jasper started saving by collecting so many historical artifacts from some of the greatest Palace theaters that ever existed as they begin to fall into decay back in the 60s and 70s.You really must experience one of the many events death in the family host at the estate. I can assure you that once Covid restrictions begin to relax they will have the house open again for public tours, concerts and many of their charity events that they support.Jasper was able to have the means to start locating, purchasing and restoring all of the fine pieces he never did it for himself. His goal and purpose was to be able to open the house and share these items which have been lost in history as so many other things are nowadays.Keep watching the Sanfilippo Foundation website and join their email list so you will be aware of future events.

Truly amazing! Over the top ornate details. completely full of wooden musical antiques from an erasing gone. But in this case, lovingly not forgotten. A testament to mechanical ingenuity and good taste. More examples than any museum.

So amazing. Tour guide so knowledgeable and kind. You will see things here you will never see anywhere else. The carousel ride was so nice. You cant help but relax and enjoy everthing while there!

Go to any of the charity events here. You wont be disappointed. Words can not convey how spectacular this collection of fine unique musical instruments, lamps, coin movie veiwers & everything else is. The most amazing carousel in an adjacent building is my very favorite. Restoration & conservation has brought historical pieces back to life for the pleasure of all. Listen to & see things you never knew existed in this museum of a home.

I have toured the home several times. It is a truly amazing place. I thankful that Jason and his wife allow us to visit this fantastic collection. The one thing I would still like to see is Jason and his wife. They must be really great to know in person. The curator of the estate and foundation is the perfect person for the job.

A beautiful estate. There are always many great events here. This is a super cool venue in the heart of Barrington hills. Located off of plum tree road. What a beautiful location !

Lovely place, the museum building was very nice, lots of excellent condition musical orchestra machines, music boxes, gramaphones and other antique machines. The carrousel building and contents were also wonderfully restored.

Phenomenal. The collections are stunning and eclectic. Tiffany lamps are incomparable.
