I have been dealing with Rancho Paseo Medical Group for the past 4 months. I have had kidney stones, 3 of them, for the past four months, and they refuse to give me anything that is effective against pain. Anybody that knows anything about kidney stones knows its excruciating, so when they offer you something over-the-counter, you can only laugh in their faces. I pay my insurance premium every month, I pay my co-pays, and when I go to the office nothing is ever done; they are grifters; They take my money very gladly, but offer nothing in return. At one point during a visit I was emotional about my issues, and they told me that I only have 15 minutes to talk;  unbeknownst to me there is another review on this thread that talks about the same 15 minutes. Believe me, you are not a patient to them, you are a number that has 15 minutes. I think a big part of it is these doctors forget who they really work for; they work for the patient and theyre supposed to discuss remedies and solutions, not hide behind their lawyers.If anybody wants to talk to me about it I have more bad details that will probably deter you from using this office.  I am also an Internet professional who understands the Web and I will be doing everything in my power to let as many people know about this horrible office. I am great with search engines.Im still confused as to what it is these doctors actually do for a living, because its not to practice medicine.Judging by the treatment thus far, I will probably be retaliated against.

Omg. Everyone in the office is so nice and respectful. The MD is very knowledgeable and empathetic to my conditions. So happy I have an office I can bring my kids and feel confident in their care. Karen is the best MA.

If you have Dr. Wyman, find a new doctor ASAP. We have been struggling to find answers to my moms pains throughout the years while she was being seen by him and his team. She was with him for a good 10 years and only prescribed her ibuprofen, Tylenol or tramedol without digging any deeper to find the root cause. He was passive about her complaints, always bypassed the way she felt and honestly pretended to care during the appt and either him or his team would forget to submit orders of any kind.About 7 months ago, she was assigned to Alan. I’m giving this place 5 stars only because Alan Valenzuela is a true hero. 0 stars for Wyman.Alan has given my mom so much attention and sent her to all the specialists she needs in just 7 months all while Wyman ignored her complaints for over 10 years and did little to help her understand her ailments. I hold a lot of resentment towards him for that because she is really struggling and we are cramming so many specialists into one year that could have been done YEARS AGO! Stay away from Wyman.Alan - thank you for caring about my mom. You are a true hero in the front lines.

I have been going to Ranch Paseo for several years. I started out seeing Dr Wyman and then both Mr and Mrs Wang. All amazing people! I was then set up to see Dr Alan Valenzuela. For 2 years he snd the staff were the BEST! Dr Alan always was looking out for my well being. He never rushes me in and out of the visit. He took the necessary time needed to make sure Im healthy and my mental state is stable. I have gone to hundreds of physicians over the years, no one has compared to Dr Alan. I am grateful for him and his amazing staff. I recently was told that due to my insurance ( health net hmo) I can no longer see Dr Alan. The office assigned me to Dr. Soki. Im not sure why they would change something that I was extremely happy with but its out of my control. Dr Soki was very professional and dillagent during my first visit. Im confident we will establish a positive relationship moving forward. Im grateful for RPMG. I would highly recommend this office. If your seeking a primary physician, move to Ranch Paseo. I hope this helps anyone looking to gain great medical care.MM

When I first called this medical group I got seen the next day I was so happy about that. Then after the first time being seen by Dr. Martinez trying to get my prescriptions that took an entire week just to get because the staff here are a mess I got the run around from 2 different pharmacies which ended up being the Doctor’s fault along with the staff’s. Then while at the first visit I asked Dr. Martinez to fill out my disability paper work she said she’d do it and I’m on my 3rd week and the form still hasn’t been filled out. I can’t walk so I can’t go back to my field of work for at least a few months and this Doctor is completely lagging. Then, lastly on the same first visit I was supposed to get a referral for an orthopedic I had to call them on the 2nd just fir them to tell me I don’t need a referral because I have my own private insurance. I did not know this it’s my first going through all this I’ve never broken a bone till now. And know I’m on my 3 rd week with this medical group and now no is answering I’m only calling to know as to why my my disability forms still haven’t been filled out yet. This medical group is really unprofessional and I regret going here.

The doctor me and my dad see here is Alan Valenzuela and he has been a very nice and good doctor to us. I am mentally disabled in some ways and my dad is elderly and the staff and doctor has been nice to us. The doctor is trying to help me get my medicine that I need and am having a hard time getting.

Haven’t even got to the door yet and not impressed with phone receptionist.. put me on hold almost 10 minutes now and still waiting for some one to get back to me.. respect and courtesy go a long way. If she!! Is so busy why did she not get back to me and say sorry for keeping you waiting.. Do I really want to go ahead and register with this medical office????

The office staff is so amazing & caring. Patrick is absolutely amazing. He really cares about your care & wellbeing while getting you back to full physical health.

Both Dr. Burton and Candace Wang are good physicians. Burton Wang wisely left Rancho Paseo and has his own practice in Beaumont. Dr. Wyman is a hack lacking in integrity and professionalism. I had a serious written complaint against him, yet he lied and advised me the complaint would be ignored because HE ran the practice. He spends more time bragging about his LLUMC education, yet he graduated late in life. Hes a rumor monger but denies hes spreading the rumor. He runs his appointments behind with his incessant talking then blames his staff. The patients suffer for his shenanigans.

New patient to this office.I found they provided great patient care service, kind staff, and overall clean facility. Nurse Karen and NP Carol were great. Highly recommend this doctors doctor.

Besides the beautiful, clean office...Dr. Candace Lee Wang is the absolute BEST. I havent seen a doctor in a few years and she made the first visit the BEST experience. I think her exact words were Im going to take good care of you, and get you healthy. The most sincere words. I have to admit besides her patience and thoroughly going over my health issues so I could understand... my FAVORITE thing about her, is her desire to pray with me! Knocked my socks of! Prayer is so powerful and having a Doctor who prays with you is just WOW.

I have been with this group for about 10 years. I like the staff. Dr. Wyman is very nice, listens to what you have to say.

Carlene Willis N.P. has been a great help in my daughter (who has cerebral palsy) getting a surgery to correct her gate on her foot that we have been trying to get with other doctor /med grps in the past several years but never did get. she is always willing to help and go the extra mile for my daughter (who lover her by the way). thank you for the great patient bedside manner (When dealing with the aspects of healing, patient care, mental and social health.” ... A healthcare providers bedside manner encompasses their medical knowledge, personality, and ability to understand the patient and communicate their concern for them.) this is Carlene Willis.

This was one of the best doctor visits Ive ever experienced. Dr. Wang was patient and kind, I felt he listened to me and am so relieved to have finally found my doctor. Thank you to him and his sweet staff.

*****UPDATE*******After working with management, I am happy to report that issues have been resolved. Ive given this a few months and have had much better service from all areas within the practice. Thank you Danielle for working through the process. Very much appreciated since I think Dr. Wyman and his nurse, Christina are fantastic and certainly didnt want to change my doctor!_______________________________________________The absolute worst customer service at this practice that Ive ever experienced.They do not return phone calls; ever. They ignore requests for refills from pharmacies and always say they did not receive the requests. Ive had multiple requests for refills or new prescription starts cancelled due to them not responding to the requests. When this happens at more than one pharmacy, I can no longer believe their excuses.It doesnt matter the issue or need, these people just dont respond. This happens with both my account and my husbands. Weve dealt with this ineptitude for 2 years now and it just doesnt get any better.If you have another choice in provider, I suggest you choose anyone but these people. Im changing my provider.

Doctors and staff genuinely care and go to bat for you..they are always courteous and extremely kind...they are always knowledgeable and informed of your history prior to appt and entering the room for your visit. I never feel as if I am just a number to them!! Love them!!

I absolutely love the quality of care I receive here... and 10 out of 10 regarding staff, office cleanliness, and there on time appointments.

Poor Service. Asking me to come in and pay just to give me a prescription to a medication I have to take for life...They just want $. Never Again!

Dr. Wang is a kind, caring and knowledgable physian. A I am 1.5 miles from his office! The whole staff is friendly and professional.

Been coming to this office for about 4 years and have seen 3 different drs here. Every Dr that has ever worked with me was great. The office is usually quick with referrals and prior auths. Staff is friendly also.

They have revamped and created a great office, staff and doctors. So happy. Change is a good thing.

A sign in the office suggests requesting refills a week in advance so you dont run out of pills. I requested a refill on July 27th when I had 28 pills left. On 8/7 when I hadnt heard from Express Scripts, I asked what was going on. They said they sent a fax request for a refill on 7/27 and again on 8/1. I called Dr Wangs office and left two messages asking for help. They responded to Express Scripts that day , 12 days after my request, saying they denied my refill request. The next day I was called, told they denied my refill, and that I first needed a lipid panel. On day 13! I immediately went in, got the form, and went across the street to Quest for the panel. On 8/10, Day 15, I called to see if the lipid panel was in and if they had submitted my refill. The panel was in, but I was told they had refused the refill request from Express Scripts and I needed to ask Express Scripts to send another refill request. I did. On Tuesday the 14th, Day 19, I went in a shot and requested in person the refill please be sent in. As of right now, 2 PM on Wednesday, Day 20, it has not happened. Twenty of my 28 pills are gone and I do not feel good that Ill get more pills before I run out!! To say this is frustrating is understating my concerns!!Update: On 8/16, Andy Nelson, the Administrator, called to apologize for my problems, said my prescription had been approved and sent to Express Scripts, and that I would be helped if I needed more pills prior to the Express Scripts delivery. I really appreciated that!!

I love my Dr Candice Lee Wang. She is so awesome she has the patience and sits down and explains everything to me step by step

The worst place to go to don’t ever go to this office and these doctors staff really bad take appointment they don’t honor it you go there they disrespect you in every way they can

My families experience with dr Wyman has been very poor. From awful bedside manners to being told that he only has 15min to discuss our concerns. It is disheartening to experience a professional that does not show empathy or care for his patient. And even more knowing that our family has been going through cancer treatment. I have literally been at visits where Im in tears out of frustration. I hope dr Wyman rethinks why he chose this profession and provides quality care.

I saw Dr Willis yesterday, I believe she is a nurse practitioner but I could be wrong, she was absolutely amazing!! I felt like she really cared, first time I felt like I was talking to a friend and not at the Dr

Iv been going here for the past 8 years and no problem untile NOW... Last week i called to make an appointment for me and my son. Your answering machine said it will give me a call within the day or the next business day. I called tusday jan 24 around 4:50 pm and left a voicemail with my name, d.o.b &contact info. The next day wen. jan 25 i called agian because i have not yet received a call so i called agian around 11:44 am, did the same left eveything and still... I HAVE NOT GOTTEN A CALL and its Mon jan 30! ... I call today again and did the same i hope you guys fix this because im very anger at this situation.

I have been a patient at Rancho Paseo Medical Group since 2009 and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff and doctors. They are just terrific and I look forward to being able to go there for many years to come.
