The doctor is extremely rude Accusing me of telling him how to do his job when all I was doing was asking a question Participating in my health, I had to put him in his place. I was pretty much in shock that he was treating me that way dont waste your time you will only agrivate yourself I deem him a quack doctor.

Went to him because my tonsils were swollen and I had tonsil stones coming out. My throat was in pain and my voice kept cutting out when I would speak. He told me “it’s a part of life and you’re just going to have to clean them out every day. Get used to it.” He is a horrible doctor. I highly recommend not going to him for anything!

Really bad bedside manners. Raised his voice at me and my partner. Did not let me finish explaining my symptoms. Rolled his eyes and cut me off multiple times to the point that I wanted to cry. Oh and we killed a roach in the waiting room.

He said the area around my cheeks and forehead was not my sinuses that it was muscle! I went straight to the urgent care and was diagnosed with ear and sinus infection. What a waste of time and money. Stay far away from this so called specialist !!!!!

I found Dt Kitt to be extremely unprofessional as condescending. I went to my family Dr. regarding a foreign body lodged in my throat. He did X-rays that showed this, radiologist read it and confirmed the findings. When I went to Dr Kitt’s office he told me this can’t ever happen and refused to look at the images, or the report, or even do a scope down my throat. This office visit was a complete waist of my time !

I was desperate for help when I went to this POS , he ridiculed me and made me feel like I didn’t know what my problem was . I constantly heard him arguing with his staff about how I was referred and why I was there on every visit .He kept pushing for a hearing test because he didn’t know what to do . Once he finally did his hearing test he handed me a pamphlet and told me this is how our life is going to be now .I’m not one to speak negatively , but this isn’t a good person .

I would give hime no stars if there was an option available. If you don’t love your body, this is a perfect doctor for u period. His license needs to be taken away. He’s rude, unprofessional, liar & will cut ur body from inside.

I’m not sure about the bad reviews. I’ve seen Dr Kitt twice now. I appreciate that he looks for non aggressive (less $ in his pocket) procedures first. I’ve been to great doctors. My heart doctor is from Cedars Sinai. Would I classify him as such? No. Bedside manner may not be overly kind but he drew diagrams and took the time to help me understand my options. I’d say give him a chance and be open to his recommendations. He has helped me when ER docs couldn’t. Don’t be quick to dismiss based on reviews

I had a very bad experience when he performed surgery on my ear. He said that I was healing up well. Because I was experiencing bleeding, numbness, and temporary facial paralysis I went for a second opinion. The Doctor at House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles advised me that my ear was infected and severely swollen from the surgery. I ended up having two follow up surgeries within a short period of time to correct the damage. I realize stuff can happen, but when he lied to me about how I was recovering it feels like his ego got in the way of patient care.

I went to him regarding an issue with my tonsils, and he treated me like I was a crazy hypochondriac. Its not even like me to go to the Dr. at all for anything, and I explained that to him. I now only 4 and a half months later I have a very serious infection in my tonsils causing my neck to swell, and Im running a very high fever. Do not listen to this man, and if he belittles you, do not let that discourage you from seeking a second opinion from a different physician. The long line of reviews speak for themselves. (0 stars)Where to begin, so our insurance advised us to go this Dr so I took my wife in to have her tonsils looked at due to continuous issues and he laughed at my wife and said there is nothing wrong, after explaining this over and over that the referral process took an excruciating amount of time they had healed but it was recurring every few weeks to the point her through was swelled shut and she needed to have them removed,I had to explain this to him multiple times, and he started tossing stuff around. He then told us no he wouldnt remove them, and over all was a very rude individual. He needs his medical license pulled and I will be pursuing this and may file grievance. If I wouldnt go to jail I would have hit him for talking to my wife in that manner.

Today was my husbands first visit and so far we were NOT impressed at all. Our appointment time was 3:30 and yes we were 30 minutes late but when we got there at 4:00 the doors were locked. Their website clearly says they close at 5:00 🤔🤔 I called the office and someone did open the door but they told us the Dr would not have enough time to see my husband even though their office wasn’t scheduled to close for another hour and there was no one else in the office. While we were there another patient walked in. Their appointment time was 3:45. They were late by 15 minutes. I called the office at 4:30 to question whether or not we would be charged the fee for missed appointments and I got an answering machine. THEY CLOSED EARLY. Even when their website says they close at 5:00.Our rescheduled time is now this Monday at 4:00. I’m wondering how it’ll turn out. :/

Genuinely surprised this doctor is still in practice. His assistants had me sign three different sheets of paperwork vaguely worded like warnings you can still walk away from this appointment now before you see the doctor. And now I know why.

I was apprehensive about making an appointment for my mother after reading the reviews about Dr. Kitt and his staff. I have to say that I was more than happy with both Dr. Kitt and his office workers.The first appointment went very well, we didnt wait too long to be seen and he explained what was going on with my moms ears. We had a return appointment 10 days later and I had my appointment time wrong and showed up 30 minutes early. The receptionist said no problem, go ahead and sign in. I really appreciated that they didnt make us come back as my mother is 92 years old. Dr. Kitt was very professional and courteous. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I would definitely recommend him.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not see this doctor if he was the last ENT in Bakersfield. He is very impatient, doesnt have the time of day to care about you or your health. Blantantly lied to me or is simply not good at his job. I asked him a question regarding a concern with the healing after my tonsillectomy and his response was what different does it make? I had to go to see a second ENT to repair the mess he made of my throat.

This dr was rude and horrible! I’ve been dealing with hearing loss in my ear and hearing my heart beat in it as well. He said I had swimmers ear and i asked how i make sure not to get water in my ear and he said it’s like having athletes feet you don’t have to be an athlete. He said for me to take a blow dryer to my ear up to 3 times a day and if i wake up at night with pain pull out my blow dryer and i can use it up to 20times a day! He said don’t use qtips i said i rarely do only to clean outside of ear and he said that’s like saying your only half pregnant!!RUDE I will be getting a second opinion!

This Dr is absolutely disgusting! My 5 year old (at the time) was referred to him. My daughter is constantly sick and needs her tonsils removed. As soon as he walked into the exam room his first words were that she was over weight and needed to loose weight.(Shes not), and she can hear everything. They have candy on counter and when we were leaving he asked her if she wanted one and she said yes and he told her she didnt need one and that see needed to diet!. Smh. About 3 days later we go back because she literally cannot stop coughing lone enough to breathe and hes like whats wrong with her? I said exactly what I told you 3 days ago. He then also tells me to go to Costco and get allergie medication and then told me to go see a allergist gave me a name and number and come to find out its his wife!! Btw she was tested by her Drs office and has no allergies!

With all of my respect to all reviews. I do agree with ya all folks, but if we are in a big cities like Boston MA or LA CA where top rated doctors are almost every where, then yes Ill be more picky about such details you guys mentioned.When it comes to small cities like Bakersfield for me it is challenging to find top rated Doctors and customer service here is 0. what it does mater most for me a good doctor who can treat the case well.I dont care about wait time, rude staff or anything else. Since I moved to Bakersfield Im struggling to find a good doctor for my 2 years old son...if you know how to deal with old people then this Dr is alright I went to 2 other doctors as 2nd opinion one of them at vally hospital comes from LA once a month and both Doctors said same as Dr. Victor said.

So far so good, we have never had to wait more than 5 min.The staff & nurses are great everyone is friendly, the office is clean & inviting there is a box of toys for the kids to play with in the lobby & that is cool. The restroom is clean. The thing about the paper you are given to read it is a good thing because then you can look at it in case you forgot something that is important that was talked about between the Dr. & you.Dr. Kitt was helpful and explained how everything would go form start to finish.Thank you to Dr. Kitt & all the staff & nurses have a great day.🌻

I have never had a bad experience with a Doctor until today. Dr. Victor V. Kitt must be one of the worst doctors when it comes to politeness, it seemed at one point annoyed with the conversation that I wasnt saying what he wanted to hear, well then ask a question and Ill answer it with a yes or no dont just give vague questions and expect the patient to know what to say. Im just glad that I dont have a follow up appointment, I will definitely not return to this practice and refer people not to come to it either.

When I looked up Dr. Kitts phone number to make an appointment, I was surprised by his low rating and negative reviews. Ive seen him more than eight times over the years, and my experience is Dr. Kitt is always polite, and thoughtfully answers any questions I ask. My condition has improved under his care. His staff is always attentive and caring. I recommend him to friends and family.

My experience with Dr kitt was amazing. I had nasal polyps Im both nastrals. I couldnt breathe put of my nose whatsoever. I had to breathe out my mouth. I had two surgeries and they went very well. Dr kitt was very nice and the staff was friendly. ❤️

I just had a visit with Dr. Kitt. I was pleasantly surprised initially with the highlighted note in the new patient packet that encouraged patients to ask lots of questions and that He did not want anyone to leave with any doubt in their minds/unanswered questions. I thought, awesome! The patients concerns are their concerns and he has a patient and ready ear. What actually happened was the exact opposite. I described what my concerns were and he began describing what may be the problem causing it. So, I began asking questions based on the amount of time my problem has been around and just different specific concerns (different questions that Ive pondered over months now). He kept interrupting me and asking me, are you a doctor? as if I was trying to tell him he was wrong in his diagnosis, when really I just wanted to ask more questions and inform him of my experience to give him more insight as well as leave with peace of mind that I had no doubt, or any unanswered questions, which was what was encouraged in the paperwork. I literally had to explain to him that I heard what he was saying and that I was asking different questions and just trying to understand. He was impatient, cut me off multiple times, and finally answered one of my main questions when he shut his mouth long enough to listen to what I was actually communicating. Im sure being a later appointment, he is tired and maybe over the day, but my goodness, if someone is a doctor, they need to understand people are coming in because something is WRONG with their body. They are already in a vulnerable position, dont know whats going on, and are probably nervous. He kept telling me that I was repeating myself and kept asking are you a doctor? VERY BELITTLING, as I was just trying to understand and clarify what he had said to me and gain more understanding. I think he spent less than 10 minutes with me too, so its not like I was there long, taking up a bunch of time. Im really disappointed. I dont feel at ease or like I was cared for as a human being and that I had to fight to even ask a question. My experience was horrible and I will not be returning.Ill also add that Ive never left a bad review for any business even if I didnt have the best experience. This was just exceptionally disappointing and I believe if anyone wants to be in the medical field where people are coming in with a concern for their physical bodies, they need to have some concept of human interpersonal skills.(Really annoyed I didnt see any of all of these accurate reviews about horrible experiences before I went for myself.)

I saw Dr. Kitt for a problem following an ear surgery I had. He would not listen to me at all. I have a wax impacted ear (from surgery I think) and needed the wax to be suctioned out. He told me all I needed was a blow dryer to loosen the wax, then argued with me about my insurance. I am deaf due to a massive infection from ear tubes and the Dr would not see me because I owed money for missed appointments. Moved out of state and ent Dr was shocked. Infection ate a hole in my eardrum, I will never hear again. Dr kitt would not listen to any of this at all! I am stuck because I have medi/medi. Health net medical is awesome, but Drs here in town wont see me because they dont take the insurance! I am beyond annoyed.

I took my 3 year old to Dr. kitt he said his ear problems were his allergies. After seeing him my son continued getting ear infections . He never fixes the real problem from what I heard from several of his previous patients that go to the same primary doctor as myself.

This was the worst medical experience I have ever had. The Dr. is rude and speaks down to you. After looking in my ear, he used the opthomolscope to look into both nostrils (without changing the plastic end cap....thanks). The Dr. then left the room while making a smart a** remark. He then had his staff member take me to another room to run a couple test (The staff is a ball of fire too).When the Dr. returned, he handed me a piece of paper, told me to read it and started to walk out of the room. While he was leaving the room he said, after you read that, Ill tell you what it think is wrong with you. He returned a short time later and continued where he left off (being rude). I dont feel he cared about what I had to say and was a poor listener.I understand people have bad days, but this was the worst. I can relate to some of the others who have posted negative reviews about this Dr. and I dont think I will be returning. I will have to speak with my primary physician to request seeing another ENT.

I wish that I would’ve read the reviews before seeing this doctor... He is rude and talked over me multiple times. He basically made me feel stupid and not cared for at all. I went in as a recommendation from my family doctor because I have been having tonsil stones and really bad breath for a while. He told me I could die from surgery, which I haven’t read about doing my research, at all. It was fine that he didn’t think I needed a tonsillectomy. What wasn’t okay was the way he went about explaining that opinion to me. I understand he didn’t want to do an unnecessary surgery, but he could have been more kind about it. I will not return to Dr. Kitt. When I see me family doctor, I am going to explain to them what happened. Also, he literally only gave me one solution. That was to use a water pik... I have and it doesn’t help. I asked if there were any other suggestions besides surgery and the water pik and he said no and shut down the conversation. He proceeded to talk over me and belittle me. Hopefully they don’t recommend others to this guy... I also am going to consider a second opinion. Hope it’s at least better than this experience.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. I just had to say that before I start the review. I went to this doctor because I was suffering from vertigo symptoms. Before he even looked at me he mentioned that there are 10 other doctors in town I an get second opinions from, which is a sign he didnt want to deal with me... He did not listen to my issues, and he both started and escalated an argument with me. I told him when my current symptoms started, and was giving him information on the situation and he cut me off to mention that my symptoms actually started 10 years ago in an obvious unrelated situation that had resolved itself.When I mentioned that he was arguing with me he went off and quickly mentioned that he never would want to see me again. Honestly it came across as just an excuse that he used to get me out of his office because dizziness is not something that is easy to deal with.I also over heard him complaining to a nurse that another patient was asking too many questions and he didnt want to deal with it. Dr. Kitt is unprofessional and his doctor office should be put under investigation and/or shut down. A person with that much attitude should not be allowed to practice medicine.I urge anyone who is looking for an ENT doctor to look elsewhere, Even if your doctor refers you say no.

I had a fairly pleasant experience, considering all of the negative reviews on here. I was initially drawn away from this doctor because of the reviews as there arent a lot of positive ones. But i didnt have any other choice but to go to him.I didnt have a long time to wait, but then again I did arrive early. The staff was cordial, no bad vibes. Dr. Kitt was straight and to the point although he may seem a bit abrupt. Although not in a bad way as some may perceive him. I know a lot of people want a kind, loving doctor, one you can shoot the breeze with, but Dr. Kitt is not one of them. He will tell you whats wrong, maybe run a few tests as I had one done on me, discuss the results, and then your out of there. The whole thing took probably 45 minutes to an hour from my initial appt. time.If I had to go back to him I would. Hes just one of those doctors you have to accept. All doctors are different. Just because one may seem more collected and business orientated and another may be more smile friendly doesnt make the latter any worse.

After getting my referral for this physician and reading all the negative comments, Ive decided to pass on this doctor. These reviews really concern me. There are so many negative comments and theyre all about the same thing about how rude, aggressive, and paranoid he is. Thank God for reviews. Ill be calling my insurance to look for another doctor.

I was a bit concerned after seeing the reviews, but my wife needed to see an ENT and his office was the only one that would answer their phone. Anyway, Im glad we chose Dr. Kitt. My wife felt respected and, unlike our last ENT, he actually listened to her.

I went to this Dr because Ive had tonsil stones for a few years and they are really starting to bother me. I went in early, so I didnt have to wait long, which was nice. The staff wasnt all that friendly. When Dr. Kitt came in, he asked what was wrong then proceeded to ask what he wanted me to do. I told him I wanted my tonsils out, since I know thats the only cure to tonsil stones. He then proceeded to explain what tonsil stones are, what the purpose of tonsils are, etc., basically telling me a long no. I explained that the main reason I wanted them out was cuz sometimes the tonsil stones come out and I accidently swallow them and make me sick. His response was You have my sympathies. He took a quick look at my throat and told me Im fine. He told me, youre done without looking back at me or saying bye. Dr. Kitt has no bedside manner and comes off as rude. Based on my experience, I wouldnt recommend him.

I find the negative reviews very surprising. I had problems with nasal air flow and I went to Dr. Kitt on the positive recommendation of my dad. After an exam and x-rays, Dr. Kitt explained my issue in a scientific but easily-understood fashion, and he recommended surgery. I opted for the surgery (performed by Dr. Kitt) and I breathe quite well now. And my senses of smell and taste have improved. Its one of the best things Ive done for myself and I heavily recommend Dr. Kitt for helping with nose or sinus issues like I had.

THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! The moment you walk into the office the first thing youll pick-up on is the negativity and low moral of the staff. Then you are per-screened with a series of forms beyond the normal health history. I thought I was giving myself a diagnoses of my problems. I was taken into a room after about a 20 minute wait. When Dr. Kitt finally arrived, he sat down and the first thing he wanted to know was who the person was in the room with me (brother) and asked if he was my attorney. He wasnt kidding. Very bizarre question. Then he began going into this long diatribe about whether I understood what I had signed in terms of his obligations and then went on about how his patients sign the form without fully comprehending what it states. It was very strange. He asked me three times if I understood the meaning of this one particular form. Its a special form he wrote that basically protects him from liability in terms of his diagnoses and treatment. Then he goes on with more bizarre questioning unrelated to my sinus issues. Im thinking at this point I should leave. Finally, I get a word in about my nose and breathing troubles (I have structural issues from a break) and he cuts me off, stands up, looks in my nose with the otoscope, does not change or wipe the tip, and then sticks it in my ear. While he is doing this, I inform him that I started seeing Dr. Leung in Bakersfield for allergies (great allergy doctor if you need one) and he stops abruptly and says in an offended and sarcastic tone,well, you should go to him, I dont see anything that needs surgery. Then he says, Ill check your hearing. and walks out. My hearing? Nothing wrong with my hearing. A staff person did the hearing test and I never saw him again. I had an MRI done through my internist after the appointment and do need some corrective surgery that should help with my breathing issues. Here is what you can expect from this man – hes impetuous, adversarial, short tempered, intolerant, extremely defensive, paranoid, obnoxious, arrogant, careless, angry, and in my opinion, emotionally and professionally unfit to practice medicine. As weird as all this may sound, this is the honest truth without exaggeration. So, please take this as a warning and do yourself a favor and find another ENT in the area. Good luck!

It was a NIGHTMARE!! There was only one review that I found on the internet on Dr.Kitt. I didnt think that one review would be enough to weigh that he is a bad doctor. I wanted to have at least two or three more reviews but there was none, so I thought it didnt hurt to try. When I was there, he diagnosis me wrong and I did not get to see him. His assistant gave me a PAPER to show my condition, which was not correct. I had to READ what my condition was on my own. I think a doctor should be sitting next to you to explain to you what your condition is and how he would go about. Instead, I got the paper and was given things that were off the page. He then recommends me to an EAR SPECIALIST! uh, isnt he the specialist? I only got to see him for about five minutes max the entire time. If I am not in cognac pain, I would have gone to a family doctor, does not make sense. He is $ hungry as the previous review wrote. I agree 100% on the last review on whoever wrote about Dr. Kitt. I honestly believe he prays on desperate patients because I was desperate. All the other ENTs were book until one to two months later. I was surprised he had an opening. WARNING! please do not go see him if you care for your health, he just wants your money. I wont even think about him doing survey on you (monkey wiring you). I wont know but if you want to live long and a to feel better with your health, so you can life normal..go to a good doctor. This doctor should be under INVESTIGATION. His assistants should not be the one who is telling the patients what is wrong with them, it is AGAINST THE LAW. Even Pharmacy Tech. cannot tell the patients what should be recommended, only the pharmacist. EXAMPLE: IF he was a plastic surgeon and says that he would do your lips for a fraction of what others would cost you, he would inject the wrong filling and mess up your lips for life. That is how I feel about Dr. Vitt. He is FEUD! wrong diagnosis & money hungry. DO NOT GO HERE!!

For me, this disque doctor just made me spend my money, it is the worst doctor I have ever known, he made me do some tests, I paid $ 300 dollars, he asked me what medicine I was taking and I told him that I used Claritin and fluticasone for my sinusitis and how I dont know. speak English well his nurse was translating for me and she started to tell me I dont know what many things but the nurse was not translating for me but I knew they were strong words and some if I understood them and at the last I get this dial doctor that I have to keep taking Claritin for 6 months when I told him that I have been using that medicine for more than 10 years and it has not helped me much and he did not like what I told him and he told me that I had to continue taking that medicine and he gave me a sachet with four 10 mg loratadine pills when I look at them they were the same ones that I used I almost threw them in his face I do not recommend it at all to this old despot that is what an old despota is

I would like to give him 0 stars, his diagnosis is not good and without any grounds, he does not take the time to see the needs and problems of the patient, for him all problems are only Allergies. Terrible experience take my son because he has months with heavy bleeding from the nose it takes up to 40 minutes to stop this happens 2 to 4 times a day 3 or 4 times a week his pediatrician gave him allergy treatment and nothing happened therefore I send to the specialist and Dr. Kitt only came in and checked him with the lamp as soon as he saw his nose he said that he was full of allergies that when he covers his nose he puts his head back and that at Walmart or Costco I can buy the money with my money medicine that I do not need a specialist for that and that if it does not seem to me their opinion will send me to another place as my insurance sent me of course that I report it with them it is not fair that this type of people call themselves professionals if they do not like it his work that he studies something else but it is seen that he does not enjoy it at all !!!
