I have always hated going to the dentist and my visits. Passed horrible experience! This place is completely different. ADEPT group is caring, Extremely pleasant, super nice, and they even have a sense of humor. I don’t feel like I’m going to see the dentist…I feel like I’m going to see a bunch of nice friends. My husband and I are both extremely happy with this gem of a place. It’s extremely clean and everyone seems to be on the same page. I’m terrible about trying to remember my appointments. No problem here…You will definitely get several very friendly reminders. There have been times that I have forgotten my appointment and I get a reminder and I’m grateful. I love this place. I have such bad experiences with past dentists. Dr. D is amazing. He works quickly, friendly, and proficient. Made feel at ease even after he found an unexpected surprise.The hygienists are great in their tasks and I always leave with a nice smile on my face. The assistants are all friendly and explain everything that is going on and what to expect. The ladies that work the front desk are nice and friendly with smiles on their face.Ive going here for about 3 years now and have no complaints yet.

I give adept a 5 star rating. Dr misty and her team have taken good care of me. Although I have been in some pain due to various reasons they have managed to deal with my multiple request. I’m confident they will get it all resolved.

The office is extremely clean and organized. They were also quick on getting me back right at my appointment time. I had to say I was in and out within an hour. The staff is friendly and I really enjoy Dr. Hendricks. Ive seen her for some time and she has a very friendly and gentle bedside manner.

Dr. Mortensen and team had me laughing the whole time I was in the chair ! I never felt anything. I’ve been to a lot of dentist in Bakersfield and this was the best experience I’ve ever had ! I would highly recommend this place for everybody ! Thanks

Adept Dental is the best dental office my family and I have ever been to. They’re always so friendly and gentle! They make you feel so comfortable and work well as a team. I had anxiety every time it was time to see the dentist and this place has made it all go away. My daughter had a bad experience with a pediatric dentist and she enjoyed seeing Dr. D. He’s an awesome person and dentist!!!

I followed my now retired Dentist to Adept Dental. Now that my Dentist is fully retired, I have become a patient of Adept Dental. Im very pleased with the service I have received and will continue with them. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist, but knowing Im receiving quality care eases my hesitation to call for an appointment. In my past I held off to where I could no longer bare the pain, and by then it was to late to save my teeth. Your friendly, courteous and professional staff make a difference from past experiences with a Dentist. Ive had dental work and cleanings since going to Adept Dental and all but a few visits have been good experiences. Your staff is very professional and you should keep them happy so they will not want to go elsewhere. Felicia the assistant, Donna at the front desk, Lisa the Hygienist and the staff person who schedules cleanings are very professional and good at their jobs. I would and have highly recommend Adept Dental to others. Only negative I would have is my greetings have not always been the friendliest. I know one can have days where people get on our nerves, but a persons first contact when walking into a business has a large impact. Just something to keep in mind.

First of all, just making the appointment was great and I was unsure of some insurance questions and the person on the phone was extremely helpful. All staff was extremely kind and you could see they wanted to make everyone comfortable, which is really important to me having anxiety with dentists. Once we got into the back, they were very detailed with any question I had and really explained their process. I also really loved that they walk you to the front and explain to the staff in the front what needs to be said. Makes perfect sense, but most doctors you go to, you have to go to the front and explain everything for your next appointment. I will recommend this office to everyone!

The staff is so friendly and I just love Jessica, my dental hygienist. Jessica makes my mouth feel terrific and she doesnt mess up my hair or my make up when I get my teeth cleaned by her. People consider me weird because I just love getting my teeth cleaned.

Staff always professional and friendly. I always leave happier than when I came in. In addition, in this day of the Covid 19 virus I note everyone was cautious but not paranoid Thats a nice balance.

Having been a dental assistant in the 80s, a dental patient my entire life and now in my 50s, I was amazed at how outstanding Adept Dental was from the minute I walked in the door and spoke to Donna. First off, I noticed the staff quickly called in every patient within minutes. There were not patients waiting unnecessarily. Felicia, Delia, and Dr. Mortensen were so pleasant and made me feel like I was an old friend coming to visit. In addition to the professional and caring staff, the office is state of the art and provides multiple services for your dental needs. I had the most comprehensive dental exam I have ever had. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a dental facility to choose Adept Dental.

I had to cancel my scheduled cleaning appointment and asked to be put on the Theres an opening list. I received 3 calls from Jeannette before I was able to make one work. I really appreciate this as at other medical offices, that doesnt happen a lot. Brenda did my cleaning again today and was professional and caring. I am very glad that my dentist chose to move to this dental group!!

Dr. D, has created a great group of professionals to assist you from the moment you walk into the office to leaving with a goody bag. The reception staff are always friendly, ready to assist you, and often found to be multi-tasking phone calls and people at the desk checking in and checking out. There hasnt been one hygienist that hasnt made you feel welcome and comfortable in some of the most uncomfortable positions (sharp tools in your mouth). And, Dr. D and Michael have always been very gentle paying close attention to worries from parents, patients, and kids. The dentist visit isnt always a pleasant one but Dr. D. and all of his team make it that much easier to go to the dentist.

Cleaning was done in a very personable and professional manner. Xrays taken comfortably; evaluation of xrays and subsequent exam but Dentist was also personable and professional. Follow up visit appointment made to fit my time and schedule easily as requested. Very satisfied with visit and all persons involved at the office.

My previous Dentist had retired and I needed an emergency root canal. My new insurance had only been in effect for a few hours, but Donna at the front desk not only got me in the same day as a new patient, she also jumped through many hurdles to make sure I was covered when I got there. I was seen by Dr. Mortensen who was sympathetic to my situation. He immediately put me at ease with his charming demeanor and explained that I needed to be seen by a specialist. He and Donna were able to get me in with someone an hour later and problem solved! Also, my all time favorite Dental Assistant, Felicia works there! Professional, caring, knowledgeable and clean, up to date office. I definitely give two thumbs up and five stars! My new favorite Dental office 🤗

A crow had popped off friday night. I had to wait until today. I called to make an appointment early in the morning. That got me in the same day. Unfortunately the crow doesnt fit anymore so I have to get a new one. Luckily he was able to put the crow back on until I get a new one on. Dr. Mortenson is an awesome dentist. I love him and his assistants. They are so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

I really feel comfortable going to adept dental. The staff is very patient and kind and always make me feel welcome. Great with reminders about appointments. Clean. Comfortable atmosphere. Kids love their dentist there as well, which says a lot.

Great place, my family and I love it there. We loved all the people there up until they hired a new dental hygienist named Kristen on the childrens side. Bakersfield is a small town and you cant call people trashy when you dont know them or who they are friends with. She happens to do that often when trying to make small talk with patients. I will change to 5 stars when she is out and moves on to the next dental place like she frequently does.

We have seen Dr. Beemer for a few years now. He is a great Dr. He and his staff are kind and caring and very friendly. The entire practice is great also from the front desk to the Drs. We have nothing at all negative to say about anyone there. The whole place is very very clean. That is super important to me. We highly recommend Dr. Beemer and Adept Dental.

I took my daughter in to see Dr. Beemer who is supposed to be a pediatric dentist. I did try to reschedule her apt because she had been getting over a throat infection but they said she would be fine. During the exam she was apprehensive (due to her throat infection, being worried they would touch her throat) and therefore he refused to do the work she needed done. I asked if he would consider seeing her again once she was not sick anymore, and reconsider doing her work. He refused and said she needed to be sedated due to her apprehensiveness and referred us to someone else. A week later, once she was better, I took her to another pediatric dentist where she had no issues and they will be doing her work. I do not understand why Dr. Beemer is a pediatric dentist if he has no patience for children and is not understanding if a child is sick.

I love going to this dentist and the office staff is so wonderful.

I went to Adept Dental yesterday for a cleaning and a routine dental check-up. The dental hygienist, Delia (sp?), was, as always, very friendly. She is very thorough and gentle. When the dentist, James Slaughter, came to see me, I informed him about a dental exam that I would need soon to fulfill requirements to serve a long term mission for my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Although I was not scheduled that day for this more comprehensive dental exam, he and his staff made some adjustments and were able to take the additional X-rays and do everything else to fulfill the requirements of that exam. Now I will only need to go back to drop off the paperwork in order for him to fill out and sign the proper forms. It was so nice to get everything done that day without having to schedule another separate appointment.

As always I received professional and friendly service from Dr D and his Staff. I find the staff at Adept to be very thorough in their examinations and I appreciate the high quality of service I receive here.
