Staff is very nice and friendly, I always get a nice greetings from the front desk people. Therapists are very nice, I wish they spoke English to understand clients needs more, would be more beneficial. But I can feel that they trying to do their best.The biggest complaint I have and the reason why I gave one star because of the manager. I had an issue about my appointment, and after several attempts by me and her staff leaving message never respond on any. I went through hell to manage to make in time for my appointment, and they told me I don’t have any even though I had clear messages from them.I would appreciate if the owner would handle the situation appropriately and take this Matter very seriously.I want to thank all other employees for doing the best they can!

Me and my mother went to have a relaxing message at this establishment. We were worked on by a massage therapist called Romney. My mother reported to me the next day that he touched her in unnappropriate places even though she specifically stated not to touch her there. This was told to me the next day because she was in shock and couldnt believe that occurred to her. I in the other hand barely received a deep tissue message as I had booked for. He just lightly pressed throughout all my body even though I specified that I wanted the neck and shoulder and lower back done. He was cut and dry and seemed that he was in a hurry and was 12 min late to receive me when I had arrived on time to my appointment yet I left right on the hour losing 12 min of my paid time. Such a horrible experience with this message therapist I definitely recommend staying away from that message therapist until he is fired!!!

Ladies be careful going to that place!Massage didnt seem very professional, it was more about just touching my body. In the inquiry I mentioned that I dont want my abdomen to be treated and I am expecting the therapist to focus on my legs and back. Male therapist started to touch my belly and I was wondering why, whats going on, until he got to intimate area and asked me would you mind?That was disgusting and I could not believe it was happening to me.

Extremely disappointed in the customer service of this location. My friends had given me a gift card a while back to use and I loved the experience so much, I decided to start a membership. I called, after not hearing back via email after some back and forth for over a week, and I was asked to provide my card information and told Id receive the paperwork to fill out via email since I was unable to go in person. I never received said paperwork so I followed up and was told it had been sent already despite me insisting that I had not received anything (I had already checked the spam folder). I suggested to them to check if the email was correct, turns out it was wrong despite having been corresponding with someone from there. I do not hear back for over 2 weeks and I was the one following up weekly trying to get a response because it was very disconcerting to me that I was asked for credit card info up front without me signing a single document. I eventually got a response basically saying sorry for not answering, heres the paperwork, get it signed within 2 days. I decided signing up with this location was not for me, so I did not fill out the paperwork and explicitly let them know that I was no longer interested, I received no response back whatsoever. Today, I was still charged for the membership. I called and the front desk person told me theyd have a manager call me tomorrow. Last time I was told that, no one called, so I asked the person when I can follow up tomorrow on the charge. They proceed to tell me the manager wont be in for TWO days after just having told me Id get a call tomorrow. This is some of the WORST customer service Ive ever experienced and will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. I do NOT recommend this location.

As a customer at this location for many years, I have literally spent many THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS on massages at this location. Over the years poor mgt, high front desk turnover, etc... caused me to go elsewhere. Only reason I continue to attempt to go to this location is because of a particular masseuse I like. Today, I go in for a 90 minute scheduled massage. I tell the front desk person I want to renew my membership for a year, which I let expire, but always paid, a few months ago due to covid. I was told I would have to pay the full rate today even if I sign a new membership. I asked how that made any sense, that if I signed up today, before my massage, and committed to massage envy taking money out of my account every month, I would not be entitled to the discount rate today as a member. Did not get an answer except that thats our policy as an explanation. I even had the front desk contact the manager, and explained that I will walk out and take my business elsewhere since the policy did not make any sense, but the manager would not budge. So I left. Who won. In my opinion No-one. I didnt get my massage, the masseuse did not get to perform his service, and the establishment lost a customer.

I got a massage as a gift.What I liked: The massage session was great and relaxing. The lady was nice and respectful at all times. I might come back.Didn’t like that the front desk/sales girl (I know it’s her job) was too pushy on trying to get me to subscribe. I leave a massage session so relaxed and the least I want to do is to deal with someone trying to sale something to me.

We had a couples massage at 3:45pm and came in early at 3:30 to be safe since we hired a baby sitter to enjoy the rest of the night. We waited until 4:15 and had to leave due to having other reservations scheduled since they still have not had the room ready. Other people that had appointments after us have come in and went while we waited. Horrible service and waste of money to get a baby sitter. If you ever try to make plans do not rely on this establishment.

Arrived for scheduled 90 minute massage which were actually scheduled for 60 minutes.Note that I ensured the day prior that it was for 90 minutes as I had a previous similar occurrence.I was attended 15 minutes after my start time (was told about room being cleaned) and was quickly ushered off the table and shorted my allotted time. Total time on/off was 45 minutes.i.e., room being cleaned = shorting your timeExtremely dissatisfied with quality of service.I would HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere.

I gave my lady a gift to massage envy for her birthday. She was to get a massage and facial. During her facial she took of her jewelry and she had the last appointment, they are of very minimal help,, no one knows nothing, no one can call the lady who did my facial, no one can call a manager, its ridiculous, I wouldnt doubt they kept my jewelry. This is at the Aventura location and no one knows anything. I do not recommend. Stay away or go with no valuables, because the roaches have reached everywhere!!

Went the first time and massage was not good. It was well priced so not too upset. Went back and it was much better. Recommend you reserve a therapist that does deep tissue. It may take a few weeks to get the therapist you want, but well worth it. Just keep reserving the same therapist. If you call last minute you will get the therapist that doesn’t have a customer and you will be disappointed. The monthly monthly membership is a fair price. They do try really hard to sell you additional services.

STAY AWAY!!! If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I rarely leave poor reviews on places but this place deserves exactly what they are getting. I had 2 separate bad experiences from this place.#1: Had a couples massage scheduled for 12 PM on a Sunday. 35 minutes before our massage they call that they have to cancel because our masseuse had a dire medical emergency. They couldnt accommodate because they were so booked so that I understand. They had the audacity to say well one of you could still come in and we can schedule the other one for another time.... Also, made it sound like a courtesy that they werent going to charge us a fee for a late cancellation. Already had every red flag but decided to reschedule the couples massage for a week later (today) at 11 AM.#2: After confirming the massage we show up at 10:45 for our app and they start checking the computer and say we only have one of you in the system... I already see where this is going and Im in total disbelief that they could possibly be this incompetent. We were speaking with the manager and she kept saying I am trying to figure out what happened... I know exactly what happened, it is a poorly managed office and is ran by people who clearly do not care. Ruined not one, but two of our days that we planned around our massages.STAY AWAY!!!!

Really bad experience, therapist did not speak English. Could not communicate with her. I spent 90 minutes having a stinky oil being poured over my body over and over again. Not one single muscle was touched. And the hot towels were filthy and more stinky than the oil.

I have been going to Envy in Aventura for 2 years. The massage therapists are excellent (especially Sandra). Today, I had a very bad experience with the manager who was rude and unwilling to help me scheduling an appointment because Sandra is on vacation. So I left Envy with no appointment. This is the third time I have an issue with this manager. I will give 5 stars to the massage therapists and 1 star to the manager.

Will not be returning... I received a few free massages as a gift and could care less to use the remaining ones. Massage was so bad. The room was cold even after I mentioned it after 3 times I was told thats just how the room is...my hour massage started almost 10 minutes late and was ended 7 minutes early. I didnt mind though because the massage was so bad. All she did was rub cheap smelling oil into my skin with zero pressure even after I stated I would like more pressure... the worst massage of my life.

Customer service was horrible. Came to Fort myers for vacation to visit family. My husband wanted to book a couples massage for us. He made the mistake of booking at this location instead of the Fort Myers location. The appointment was for 12:45pm. At 11:30 he realized that it was at this wrong location. He called to cancel & this is when they told him he will be charged for the FULL amount. This was the first time they told him about this policy. He explained that its a 2 hr drive & that even if we could drive that we wouldn’t make it there on time. Also that we wanted to make the appointment at the Fort Myers location. But they still wouldn’t allow us to cancel. They insist on charging us the full amount. Its sad because now there is a “bad taste” for this company.

I was given a massage by Carlos that ended in what I could only describe as rug burn on my shoulders. He didnt use enough lotion or oil and although my skin burned at the time I certainly didnt expect to see literal purple bruising on my shoulders the next day. Now Im in more pain than I was before the massage. I sent an email to corporate asking for a refund.

Besides my better judgement based on the poor reviews of this location I decided to give the Massage Envy Aventura location a chance. I received a chemical peel by Romania that resulted in second degree burns to my face. I’ve been receiving chemical peels all over the United States in various strengths since I was 21 and never had an issue. I sent pictures before and after of my face and was told by Romania that she “ didn’t see anything wrong with my face”. In my attempt to resolve this issue I requested a refund and cancellation of my contract. While speaking to the manager Jessica, I was told “ if you can be cooperative we can solve this issue”. To an highly educated Black woman being told this is very offensive and this demonstrates poor management skills. Because of her unprofessionalism I requested to speak with her manager and was told “ she doesn’t have a time or idea of when she can contact me “. I didn’t receive an apology from Romania or from the manager, I also was not provided a refund when I arrived in person in my attempt to resolve this issue. I now have permanent burns on my face and have to invest extra money into correcting this issue. I tried resolving this issue via email, phone and in person with no avail. I also had a chemical peel performed at the North Miami location that was very successful but was unfortunately fully booked. Proof and pictures of this is located on my yelp review!

Never write any reviews but Sonya deserves it !!!Ive been a member for ME more than two years, and I highly recommend Sonya, she is hands down the best therapist that does deep tissue in Aventura location. I moved from Aventura area and Ive been trying another locations and Im not happy with the deep tissue therapists from Pembroke Pines location, now Im gonna try Cooper city, hope I find someone as good as Sonya before I cancel my subscription.

Ive been a regular client at this location for over a year having weekly and bi-weekly massages. Spent well over $2,000 at this location. II WILL NOIT BE RETURNING. Normally I would attempt to voice any grievance directly with the owner. However; in this instance, it is apparent the manager has control over this operation. I have no issues with the massage therapists. The issues are with the front desk personal and the MANAGER. I really cant blame the front desk staff. They are mostly incompetent, not because they do not care, but very few people last long enough to learn the system. If you are a customer, dont expect to see the same person at the front desk the next time you return. Calling and leaving messages at this location is a waste of time since they almost never call you back. They have HUGE front desk turnover, which in my opinion, is more of a management issue. As a result, issues that should be handled at the front desk have to be dealt with by the manager, who is not very helpful.

Truly the worst massage of my life. Therapist was completely indifferent, did not listen at all, even when asking her to work specifically on one area of my back DURING the massage. She says hold on, hold on, this is bio freeze therapy. Then spends not one second on the area that I am specifically telling her that I came for. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Marco is an excellent. However, the front desk and manager are awful to deal with. Only sign up if you NEVER plan to cancel. I had to cancel 3 times before someone could confirm it was processed (and this was beyond the 10 day it takes to process). Also they tried to tell me I only have 30 days to use the massages I had accumulated. Taking a total loss on this one but glad to be done with these people!

Andrea I just got off the phone with the manager onsite.... She doesnt let you talk, she said to me that she was done with me and the pretended like she couldnt hear me and hung up. When I called back she became very sarcastic with me. All i did was inquire about a refund for a service I never used and she reacted as if i was personally attacking her. I guess she receives commission for it. I will be going to the office today since Andrea likes to hang up on clients.

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars! Run dont walk away from this place. What was supposed to be a nice mothers day gift turned into a DISASTER.Waited 15 mins after my appointment time, but fine didnt make a big deal.The therapist was very rough and didnt speak English. I advised that i did not want too much pressure as I did not want a deep tissue massage. Ive had massages in the past and have never had any issues.The same evening I started to experience excruciating pain. My shoulders and back hurt tremendously. My entire back is SWOLLEN. I could not sleep and had issues getting dressed the following morning. 4 days in and Im still in pain.That was the worse massage Ive ever had and I will never use Massage Envy again. Ive had to take pain meds to ease.up the back and shoulder pain.Ive called every day since, the receptionist always says theres no manager there. :Jennifer waa supposed to call me back. Ive called and emailed management, no response! Never AGAIN.

Unfortunately a Forgettable experience. As soon as I walked in, the facility had a foul smell to it. I proceeded to check-in since I came with three other friends who were excited for their massage. The girl at the front desk asked if I had ever been to massage envy I said yes a long time ago. She then told me that I was not in the system so I needed to register as a new guest.I then went for my massage and I was not impressed. The room had old carpet smell to it. The therapist knocked over something during massage that made a loud noise not relaxing. The massage itself was nothing to brag about. During checkout my friends got charged $55 for same massage I had, however the girl at the front tells me that my massage will be $95. When I asked why she said bc I had a massage done several years ago. I was confused bc when I checked-in she told me I wasnt in the system. Regardless this is something that should of been mentioned before I had my massage done. $95 massage is a ridiculous price for a shopping plaza Spa. Not happy will never return or recommend to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE!! Went for a couples massage and it was the WORST experience I have ever had. We were rushed, I could hear my partners masseuse rustle around the whole time and we literally LEFT WITH MORE PAIN THAN WHEN WE ARRIVED. The young women at the front did nothing to compensate for this awful experience. I also gave feedback online and havent heard anything. Do yourself a favor and DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Here is what happened to us. My husband and I came to Aventura location on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Unfortunately we experienced a very bad service. The girls at the front desk were rude, unhelpful and the length of the massage was only 40 minutes instead of the promoted 1 hour. Later they informed us that 1 hour massage includes 5 minutes of initial conversation with the therapist and 5 minutes for the customer to put the clothes on after the massage, so technically it should be a 50 minutes massage. Even though I understand that this is how your policy works, I believe your policies should be disclosed to the customers before they sign up for the service, because, since it is stated that massage is a 1 hour massage, people are expecting a 1 hour massage. But even after having considered your policies we still got a 40 minutes massage and the girls at the front desk said its not a big deal and they couldnt do anything about it. On top of everything they said they would leave a note for the manager, so the manager would get back to us and talk about the complains we had regarding the service.As a result, the manager never got back to us and I was very disappointed. I definitely did not want to come back or spend my money at Massage Envy Spa.I have called my home location (Brickel) to cancel my membership and the girl on the phone has told me that now I am not eligible to cancel my membership because I have to use 12 sessions of massage first. I was so extremely upset because this is another policy I have never been notified about. I did not want to go there again, why did I have to be charged for the massage I did not want? This is definitely an essential term of the agreement between me as customer and you as a service provider and it had to be disclosed to me at the time of agreement. However, it wasnt just like many other policies were never disclosed to me.I tried contacting Vivian who was the main manager, but my phone calls have not been returned and my email was returned as undeliverablre.I had to wait for almost a year to cancel and my card kept getting charged every month.Today I finally sent out my cancellation form so lets see how this process comes along.Overall very negative experience. It varies from location -to-location, but Aventura is definitely a bad one and the company policies are not only terrible but also arent being discussed with the clients prior to signing a membership contract. They promote a 1 hour massage but , in fact, you will get 40 minutes...

Im a Massage Therapist myself and the whole service was horrible. the lobby isnt relaxing at all they have like 5 receptionist chit chatting their life away and they all look like they have no clue what theyre there for. Her vibe was horrible and tense she looked like she didnt want to be there I paid for a 60 min SWEDISH MASSAGE and i got 45 MIN of rub my body in a fast pace so i can get the whole body done before time is up.
