Shameful. My Grandfather suffered of low oxygen the entire visit in Dr Mesa’s office as they did not have sufficient oxygen for him on site. How was this not advised prior? He could have brought his own tank. He sat with less than half of his normal flow for over an hour and suffered. Negligence on their part. Weeks went by where my Grandfather waited for equipment, medicine...he passed away still waiting for items which may have helped him stay comfortable a bit longer. Shame on Dr. Mesa and his incompetent team.

Dr. Luis Mesa and his efficient, professional staff has treated my sister for several years now. We are so pleased with Dr. Mesas excellent care, an personal attention to our sisters medical needs. Weve moved to Broward County two years ago, and we still travel just to be under Dr. Mesas care and his staffs excellent care!

This doctor and his team are amazing! They really care about you and take time to explain every single detail. Dr Mesa is very meticulous and experienced.Kisha, drs assistant is the most amazing assistant that I’ve ever experienced! She is such a wonderful person!So blessed that I found them!

Dr. Mesa is THE BEST! He is very caring and give his undivded attention. Dr. M & his number 1, are a 10 out of 10 for us!

The office staff is very unprofessional when they dont know the answer to your question they will answer rudely and hang up the phone. They will lie and say they called you. Nobody calls you back, they switch you to answering machines that are not reviewed. Its sad because the Dr.s in that office are pretty good. But I decided to take my condition elsewhere. There are plenty of unemployed people out there willing to do a job right and treat patients right. Its a shame.

Dont even think about it. Patient service is zero. Contacting the office is a percentage game. Mostly the percentages are against you. Getting feedback on a consultation is a a maybe, but probably not. When you do manage to contact the office, they will flat out lie to you and make commitments which WILL NEVER materialize. Use this practice at your nown risk.

Dr Mesa. I have to chg my rating. I was there in February. I was called in to go get the results in April in the mid of a pandemic. I said no. 69 and asthmatic, in a pulmonologist office, no way!!! I finally felt comfortable on Aug 10th at 8:30 less ppl. Get there, the doctor had an emergency to schedule for another time. I was livid! One of the assistants told me u r breathing, u r walking, u r fine. Still no results on my tests. Now i get a bill for $65 for copays. Hell no!! This ofgi e is a typical Latin American limbo. The patient is nothing, the doctor is God. No thank u. K to Cleveland Clinic even if i have to drive for 45 mins. (I moved to the eastside but cant find anything like Cleveland)

Dr Luis Mesa is a wonderful doctor, very caring and thorough doctor. He listens!! He actually had my issue diagnosed after walking around with something very serious for 8 months. I was ignored by my cardiologist and told this to Dr. Mesa. He said he would not ignore me and rule everything out. All in his office, I had blood drawn, chest x-ray and breathing tests. All under one roof = a BIG PLUS in my book!! He ordered an Echo and CT scan for me. The Echo gave us the diagnosis! Thank you Dr. Mesa and staff for your caring. You were worth the wait. BTW, he came highly recommended from my 2 different PCPs. I gave him the kudos he deserves also on my FB page. I would highly recommend him. Be patient with staff, wait times, they are a busy office and with good reason.

One of my very favorite Dr Offices. You can’t find a better more caring knowledgeable Pulmanory Doctor anywhere then Dr Messa! His office is always busy because both Dr are great. The staff is helpful efficient and Kisha, Dr Messa’s assistant, is amazing she makes sure everything is handled. Love this team♥️👍🏼👋

Horrible experience. I waited 2 hours did breathing test and chest X-ray then was told by Dr Mesa I needed CScan on lungs to rule out Lung Cancer this was on 2/14/19. It is over a month and keep getting run around and don’t call back. The office kept promising would schedule. I’m done. Will get records and Going to another Dr.

I am so over the lack of service and lack of hospitality. Dont try to call because most of the time you cant get through or you are on call waiting over 20 minutes. While the Doctor is great, everything else leaves alot to be desired. Reading other reviews, it seems like they don take matters seriously enough to make a change. Maybe my time writing this comment is wasted.

While Dr. Bernstein might be the best pulmonologist in all of Florida -see review-, that office is a total mess. They keep asking patients to pay bill they have already paid. Clean up that office: Its the THIRD time within a few months your asking me to pay a bill ALREADY paid!

Stay Away!!!! Terrible office staff!!!! They NEVER answer their phone! You will have to call the office and wait 20 minutes for someone to answer you, the phone just rings. Then, their scheduler will schedule you to pick up equipment and when you get there, they do not have it available because they gave it to another person even though they knew you were coming in. This happened to us and another patient there 3 times in a row. This is not a coincidence this a constant occurrence in their office.

While Dr Mesa is a very good pulmonologist who came highly recomended by my primary, getting any assistance, like asking for a prescription to be sent to a medical equipment supply provider, on the phone with his staff will be an all day event.The phone is sometimes picked up and hung up, at times Ive waited 45 minutes or longer, sometimes on 2 different phones at the same time, only to have someone pick up one and ask if I was someone else, put me back on hold without asking for whom I was holding, only to have that call suddenly disconect a few minutes latter. I would recomend Dr Mesa but not his staff.

This Dr Mesa is all about money...Hell no , go to another, plenty of them in Miami.......they just charged my inurance under DR BERNSTEIN FOR a bill for a broncoscopy that HE NEVER DID BECAUSE THEY NEVER CALLED THE PATIENT THE DAY BEFORE TO GIVE HER INSTRUCTIONS, BUT I WILL FIGHT THAT BILL WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY....

Horrible Customer Service - I make appts for my mother, and everytime I call I get put on hold for more than 10 Minutes and I have to call back. Right before they put me on hold, I hear giggling in the back ground, so clearly they can take a simply appt down. I mean how hard is it to take an appt down or even speak to a client and move on to the next call. Good thing my mother doesnt call otherwise they will have her blood pressure sky rocket! The doctor is wonderful but the front desk staff needs improvement!

Horrible service to patients. I call they never answer and when they do, they are lost. I have been sending emails (3 in total) as well and they dont have the decency to reply. HORRIBLE PLACE !!!!!!!!!! Avoid it at all cost. They dont care about the patients.

Tried making an appointment for my mom. They took 15 minutes to answer my call. Heard he is a great doctor but his team is the worst team ever!

Terrible customer service, long waiting time(3hrs). The staff is unprofessional and they don’t care the patients. Please don’t go to this Dr. Office look around for other options.
