Dr. J has been a true lifesaver during my pregnancy. I have been a longtime proponent of chiropractic care and have seen several chiropractors but none have been able to provide me the relief and whole body care that Dr. J has. She really takes the time to understand everything going on within your body and tailors a treatment plan that is best for you. Outside of her having magical hands, her team that works in the office are also incredible! These women are all so kind, thoughtful, and great at what they do. It feels like family at Empower and I love it! I’m having a baby in the next couple weeks and I’ve actually been able to enjoy my pregnancy and I owe that all to this office and Dr. J!

I love Empower, it’s not just Dr J (though she’s pretty amazing), Cameryn and Bailey are great too. The entire practice is geared towards making you comfortable and supporting you in meeting your health goals. I referred my mother and am working on getting my husband to come too. Working with Dr J on a long term plan (as opposed to one off adjustments) has made a huge difference in my longstanding issues, and made my pregnancy much easier. Jeanique is amazing. I was always skeptical of chiropractors. But once I went in there she put my mind at ease and actually made me aware of the situation in my back that I wasnt aware of. Since then going to her pretty regularly my back has less pain. She even adjusted my wrists that I always thought were just bony and always hurt, few adjustments and Ive been feeling the best I can.Ive seen her with younger patients and shes so good with them, patient understanding and puts every patient at ease. Definitely recommend her for any person, child or anybody that might be scared of chiropractors shes the one to go to.

Dr. J is the best! We started bringing our kids 4 years ago. Since going, my youngest hasn’t had any ear infections (prior to Dr. J, she was scheduled for tubes) and my oldest’s allergies have improved tremendously. My husband and I go to her too. I had a car accident in May 2020 and went to Dr. J to help with my neck and back problems. When I first started going, it was pretty rough and I was in severe pain but Dr. J recommended some CBD oil, the ice and specific strecthes to help alleviate it. I have been seeing her for almost a year now and feel like Ive made 180 recovery. From my pinched nerves in my C-spine, I used to get this radiating pain and numbness down my left arm which Dr. J eventually corrected and I no longer have this problem. She took every visit to follow up with my progress, give wonderful recommendations, and listen to my concerns. I feel so relieved knowing I am in such great hands. I also started off a little skeptical, but Im a nurse and thought meds or surgery were the main options. Safe to say, I am a believer of Dr. J and her approach to healing the body.

I knew Dr. J was the real deal, when I walked into her office and saw that half the personal testimonials on her bulletin board, I recognized as clients of my own. She is gentle in all the ways she needs to be gentle, and firm in all the ways that she needs to be firm. There isnt an issue she wouldnt counsel you on, health wise.I see her primary for neck issues now. Before I became a regular, I was throwing my back out several times a month. Now, its hardly an issue. Chiropractors have always made nervous, but Dr. J is different. She is so smart, polished and proficient in her practice. I would totally send my son to her, if I wasnt stealing all of her time for myself. 😉

I wanted to share a recent experience at Empower Family Chiropractic. I never knew what a great chiropractor could do until I asked! Along with my regular back problems, it was actually suggested to me by my massage therapist that I should ask about issues with a problem I have experienced in my big toe that I broke a couple of times in high school! Dr. J did some quick adjustments to my toe and a problem I have struggled with for 30 years has been almost completely eliminated!Dr. J and Empower Family Chiropractic are absolute life-changers!

I have seen four chiropractors In the last four years, and now I’ve finally found the best with Doc J. She is by far the most thorough practitioner, giving a full nervous system and reflex exam, along with x-rays and scans, all before treatment begins, to establish the real body issues. Being a former pro football player, Ive had many different chiropractors. Most of them had the same approach which was a basic adjustment and I was on my way. What I love about Jeannique is that she does a VERY thorough exam before she even thinks about adjusting me. She shows me exactly what going on with me and then takes action. I signed up for 12 sessions and I feel better after each session. On top of that she does a brief exam every time before she does an adjustment on me. Hands down, the best chiropractic Ive ever had. I can not begin to tell you how wonderful it fells to wake up each morning and not be in pain. I had been in pain for so many years that it really just seemed normal to me. For years I made adjustments to how I performed my daily tasks (cutting my hair because it hurt to style it, changing what I wore because something was easier to get on and off, etc.). All because I couldnt lift my arm without pain. After 3 weeks of treatment with Dr. J, I woke up and realized that nothing hurt. As the day went on I kept waiting for the pain to hit. Ive been waiting for 3 weeks now, and I still feel great. I know that I am not at what most would consider 100% and that I still have a way to go, but she has improved my life more in 6 weeks than the last 3 MDs have in 6 years. Jeannique is amazing and has been so supportive throughout my pregnancy! My previous pregnancy I was on bedrest and having contractions that caused a premature delivery. This time around, I found Jeannique and the Webster method, which helped to ensure adequate room for the baby, reduce tightness of the ligaments connecting to the uterus, reduce contractions, and allow for an easier pregnancy. Im so very happy with the results after visiting her practice weekly. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and not suffering from any discomfort. I believe that the Webster technique and the care Jeannique has provided will allow for an easier delivery with this baby.
