No matter what I had done surgically, I have never experienced any pain. Also, all the hygienists are quick but thorough and gentle at the same time. Really nice people, too.

I had gum grafting 20 years ago and due my experiences, put off more grafting for a long time. Dr. Beckman just grafted large areas of my gums and my experience could not have been better. The office has a very professional staff who takes the time to explain everything from the costs to the actual procedure. My recovery went so well. I went in the dr. to have my gums fixed. I had bad receding gums. The dentist was so wonderful and helpful, she was kind and explained all the details. I went in and the surgery was very painless, the graft was taken from the roof of my mouth that helped the gum tissue recover quickly. The assistant Sierra was amazing and comforting. A great experience. Dr Heller and his team were wonderful! My daughter needed a gum graft. The team answered all questions and the stem cell use definitely decreased the pain and quickened the healing. Daughter followed all instructions and healed quickly and didn’t need the super Motrin pain relievers by late on day 2. Nobody wants gum surgery but our experience was without any problems!

From the minute I made the appointment to the end when I was walking out the door of their office, the experience was extremely good. Dr. Heller and his staff are great. It’s a bit unnerving to have dental work done but they made every step of the experience easy and pain free. Last, it was so nice to receive a call from Dr. Heller the evening after the procedure wanting to know how I was doing. Great office and great staff.

I have had several gum grafts in the past and this was by far the best experience (as far as dental visits go!). Dr Heller and his staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. The roof of the mouth where tissue is removed is always the worst part but with the PRP injection and plastic retainer to protect the area, I had no issues at all. With the retainer in place, I was able to eat more “normal” food very quickly. I would highly recommend Dr Heller and this practice to anyone!

Amazing experience at Periodontal Health in Aurora with Dr. Hyer! She was very detailed in her explanation of my gum recession and the procedure needed to correct it. Scheduling staff was beyond helpful, knowledgable, and even figured out cost and everything prior to my surgery. The gum graft, performed by Dr. Hyer, was painless and fast. I was able to communicate with her via text message days after the surgery as needed and I appreciated that! A few days after the surgery I received a plant from them which was so sweet! It also happened to be the plant Ive been wanting! Highly recommend Dr. Hyer!

Dr. Heller and team were recommended to me by my orthodontist for a gum graft and they were FANTASTIC! On my first visit Dr. Heller explained the procedure and answered my questions thoroughly. He was personable and had a great sense of humor, which put me at ease. The office staff worked with my insurance and communicated the financial arrangements so there were no surprises. During the procedure I felt only minimal discomfort at one point, but otherwise I was completely numb. The recovery was bearable but I did take pain medication for a few weeks as needed. I didnt feel comfortable speaking for several days, which probably varies based on the extent of surgery (I canceled Zoom meetings and calls the week after). While no one wants a gum graft, after having it done I wish I wouldve scheduled it earlier -- dont wait if you need one! Had I gone in earlier, I could have avoided some bone loss. Just make sure to stock up on smoothie and soup ingredients before the procedure. Dr. Heller made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process and now, 6 weeks later, I have a much healthier and attractive smile.

I healed very quickly after a gum graft procedure by Dr. Beckman. After hearing several horror stories I was apprehensive, but the pain was tolerable and well controlled using the meds and retainer. My procedure was on a Thursday and I was back to work by Monday. The main struggle was talking with the retainer for about a week. I would highly recommend Dr. Beckman.

Ive had the best experience with this office. I have had some terrible experiences in the pass with different places. They made me feel comfortable and I couldnt have a better team to tend to all my dental needs. They take the time to really care by reaching out to check on you, and getting your emergency taken care asap even during a pandemic.

I needed an implant on one of my rear molars, and Dr. Thousand and his team did the implant work at the Aurora office. I had to do the procedure with minimal sedation due to the fact that I had to drive myself back to work after the procedure. Despite this, there was minimal pain and discomfort, and everyone did an incredible job. Hes very good about telling you what hes doing and is very detail-oriented. He is never dismissive and always takes time to answer questions.After everything healed up I went to my regular dentist to have the crown installed. After the crown placement I had a terrible headache and toothache for a week before my regular dentist would see me again to adjust the crown. However, even after she made some adjustments I was still in pain the next day.I didn’t know what else to do so I reached back out to Dr. Thousand for help even though he wasn’t responsible for the crown. Knowing that I was in acute pain they were able to get me in the same day at the Littleton office. Turns out there were some major defects on the crown that my dentist had overlooked that contributed to the acute pain, and would have likely resulted in infection down the road. Dr. Thousand spent almost an hour working with me and modifying the crown for temporary use so that I could have it placed back over the implant while a new crown is made.He didn’t need to do this since this wasn’t a mistake attributable to his office, but he and his team went above and beyond, and didn’t even charge me for the work. I had been in so much pain I could barely focus, and so this help meant so much to me because I could now function again. This was at the end of their day so I’m sure it meant a later day for everyone, but I can’t thank you all enough for giving me that relief. We’ll certainly be coming here for future dental issues, and referring Dr. Thousand and his team to friends.

Doctor Beckman is a true artist. I had a fairly involved implant procedure, due to insufficient bone depth, and he was able to install the implant. I experienced very little pain and the recovery was fast. I have had a very positive experience with Dr. Beckman and his staff, and I highly recommend the team at Periodontal Associates.

Dr. Jenna Hyre is an exceptional Periodontist. I was introduced to her when she was in her last few months of residency at the University of Texas San Antonio Periodontics. My first visit with Dr. Hyre was warm and welcoming. Dr. Hyre conducted a thorough examination of the issues I had. She explained in great detail the processes and procedures that were required to fix the years of bone loss and receding gums. More importantly she listened to me and answered all of my questions. I had many visits with Dr. Hyre, each one of them better than the last. Dr. Hyre performed extractions, bone graphs, pocket reconstruction and guided tissue regeneration. Her attention to detail and the work she performed is beyond amazing. I personally thank her for the wonderful experience and her professionalism throughout all of my visits. I highly recommend Dr. Hyre and wish her all the best as she furthers her career.

I felt well cared for by the Periodontal Associates team whether for my consultation visit, my tooth extraction or the two follow up visits. They are kind, professional, timely, and Dr. Heller is clearly an expert in his field. He had two potential plans of care for my procedure- one was tooth removal if absolutely necessary and the second to potentially save my tooth. Unfortunately the area was in bad condition so he was able to safely do the extraction and I feel SO much better (immediately). All points of contact at their office make you feel welcome, understood and well cared for. Ill be going back for periodic cleanings/ maintenance/ prevention for sure.

I needed to have a couple of gum grafts to fix receding gums in two areas and Dr. Heller came highly recommended by my dentist. I was dreading it, but it wasn’t really that bad - and now I’m glad I had it done. I experienced discomfort, as you might imagine, but I didn’t really have any pain - and it healed pretty quickly. The staff is really friendly and professional and they checked with my insurance before the procedure so I would know the cost ahead of time. This is the second time I’ve had a procedure there, and I honestly don’t think I would trust anyone else.

My experience at this dental office has been amazing ! The professional care the staff and the doctors take upon the patient is amazing. As a patient, I was well taken care of and I was given the one-on-one attention that I needed in order to understand my treatment plan and feel more comfortable about it. I was recommended Dr. Heller from my regular dentist because I had receding gums and needed gum grafts done. I was so afraid to have to have this done but Dr. Heller and his staff made me feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Versman and then Dr. Heller have been doing implants on my husband and me for at least twenty years. Neither one of us have ever had a problem with any of them. Then came removal of the natural tooth followed by months of healing. The next step was installing the implant followed by more months of healing. The final procedures involved fitting the cap to my mouth. Several weeks later came the cap installation by the dentist.The entire staff at Periodontal Associates was terrific. Dr. Beckman performed my gum graft surgery about 2 months ago. It was quick and not too painful, the graft was successful and it is healing great. I chose to do the process where they draw your blood and create a pouch to put in the roof of your mouth where they take the graft from. I highly recommend this as it sounds like I healed much quicker than people who did not do that process. Overall, great and straightforward service and billing.

I went for oral surgery and I was a little nervous about it. Dr. Beckman was very calming and competent. The procedure was very gentle and smooth and it was over before I knew it! Not that anyone can truly love sitting through dental surgery, but these folks made the process a lot more tolerable than I ever imagined possible. I was referred to Dr. Doug Heller by my general dentist for a crown lengthening (which was something I had never heard of even though I have a mouth full of crown work AND used to be a dental assistant back in the dark ages). I was pleased with the fact that I really had no pain during the surgery and that the doctor continually kept me informed during the process while he was working on the tooth. The whole staff from front desk to operative, was wonderful. I have been there now for 4 visits, and each time I was seen right at or slightly before my set appointment time! I did not experience any issues with the healing process whatsoever. If you need the services of a periodontist, I highly recommend Dr. Heller at Periodontal Associates.

The new guy states we can remove as much as I’d like and we can determine that while doing it. That’s exactly what I want.Here’s why I’m upsetThe new office runs my insurance, it’s covered (total billed is about 1700) and my out of pocket is 168 dollars.No one likes to be ripped off.

I had broken a root in a front tooth and was told i needed an implant from my regular dentist. I was referred to Dr Heller, I was not to excited about this but really had no other option. Well from the front office people to the dental assistance and to most of all Dr. Heller. He explained the procedure in full he told me how long it took for the healing time and it was all as he said. My 89 year old mother has been a patient of Dr Heller for years. She was told that she had a cavity and needed a root canal plus a crown. She was very upset and in tears. I took her to my dentist and she didnt have a cavity. She didnt need a root canal. I am very upset that Dr. Heller did this.How can you do this to an 89 year old mother?

Dr. Beckman and his assistant were very caring during and after my procedure. Their first concern was that I was comfortable and doing fine. Overall, an extremely positive experience and I would highly recommend Periodontal Associates to anyone needing advanced dental care.

Like other reviewers stated, while I wouldnt wish to have gum surgery unless necessary, the team and Dr. Heller made it tolerable - and helped me feel as comfortable as I could be. He does through with humor and personal connection. I would recommend Periodontal Associates to anyone needing this type of procedure.

I have my teeth cleaned here and have also obtained dental implants. The entire staff is totally dedicated to customer service as well as providing high level professional care. After many visits to this office, I have never had to wait more than just a few minutes at most. The dental hygenist is dedicated and professional while maintaining a very open and friendly approach to her patients. Dr. Versmann spends a considerable amount of time educating his patients about procedures. You feel confident and know what to expect. The follow up post procedure is the best I have ever experienced. I have always received the most professional care as well as a high level of customer service from the front desk.

This is some sort of review management web application that allows them to control the review they show.Secondly, since my reviews, they have now removed FREE Consultation from the website. So you DO have to pay now! This place is just unethical all around!+++++++++++++Fraud! Scam! They DONT offer any free consultation as stated on their website. They care about making money and thats all they do!I scheduled a free consultation to get a price for an implant. The clerk who scheduled me said they needed X-ray from my regular dentist. On the day of my consultation, the doctor claimed that he was not able to see anything from my film so he needed me to agree to a full X-ray or else he couldnt do the consultation.As part of my due diligence, prior to going to this office, I went to 2 other locations and got the free consultation to compare the prices without any issue. And I even told him that I went to 2 other places already. So, for him to ask me to pay $125 for it, it was odd but I did agree with paying that.Fast forward 2 weeks, I got a bill from them for the X-ray and an exam that the dentist did. Besides the $125, he added another $110 on top of it for an exam that he did for me the day of my first visit. Nobody, at any point during my visit, told me that I was going to be charged for that. If they had told me, I wouldve walked out of their office already.At my second visit, the dentist didnt even address the cost to remove my wisdom tooth as I asked for. Its like they do whatever they want and dont care about what you want. The dentists that work here might be good but I doubt they have any integrity!A place of business such as a dentist office needs to first and foremost have integrity! Secondly, you have to listen to your customers concerns. Thirdly, you have to be competent enough to address their concerns. They failed at the first two. The third one, you will have to find out yourself!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Hellers for quite a few years. He performed my crown lengthening surgery several years ago and Ive been a regular patient since then for check ups and cleaning. Carolyn is the most thorough, professional perio hygienist I have ever had and has a great chair-side manner! I love everyone in this office and would never go anywhere else!

Dr Heller is the best at what he does. I had a previous gum graft surgery and they did not do it correctly. Came to see Dr Heller and my gums are healthy again. :)
