A fairly decent place for showers find coffee. They also have breakfast and lunch.

Arbitrarily close early, with no reason. Forced to come back 4 days in a row, at different times. And each time they closed earlier. As early as 1:00 when the sign on the door clearly states Close at 4:30 Daily there was another guy and his family there, and he was told he couldnt pick up his 15 year old kids mail. He had to come in. How? Minors arent allowed.ever.

Runaround for over a month, close whenever they choose, signs mean nothing. Made me come back numerous days, just to check mail. Everytime i go in ask fir Comitis card, systems down, cant make one, and the same people ask me too show my card Everytime.

Its a warm place to go on cold days. Nothing to do but stare at each other all day long. Now they serve breakfast and lunch and dinner (dinner for people only going to the E shelter). Some of the staff are nice. They say they can help you with resources but I have yet to see or get any help. They do put out clothes every once in a while. Its a place to go in the day time. Better than some other day shelters... I guess.😒

Yes, I give five for publication rights since rarely visit awkward because I have been experiencing space in-between an thats my expectations for myself to accelerate through my better interest.Some love audience and I enjoy quiet with assistance, reflection of myself there but hopefully will embrace the whole situation ok since somethings are better left unsaid! 🚨🕊️☠️

The resources are there. You have to utilize them. You must rise to the occasion and take full advantage of what is offered. The staff is there to support you in your journey to succeed and reach the goals you set.

This place trespassed me for a year because they accused me of breaking into a car and had me exit the vehicle, in snow at 3:30am.. I set up my tent while waiting for the police so I could straighten it out, and charges wouldnt be pressed, 45 mins later APD arrives I was then trespassed by G4S security for being in the parking lot.

Im not sure how to feel about this place. I guess some care and others dont. It does give the homeless a safe place to sleep but trying to get real serious long term help its a joke.

A perfect place to be connected with resources that would help people to assimilate the available resources with the ones that apply to them.

There are no resources that significantly remove homelessness or help get the homeless into real homes.The resources that are provided are not enough to successfully remove the homelessness that is being experienced.There is a high turnover rate and questions about housing permanent housing are always avoided.There are no caseworkers that help you just 18 through 45 efficiently or effectively enough to get them from homelessness into their own homes.The resource center needs much needed improvements and more resources that will be successful in permanently keeping people from coming back full circle.The stories Ive heard people have been recycled back into the same facility for months, years, someone has also stated they have been there over 7 years back and forth due to economy issues or illness or lack of resources due to their inability to working or finding work or finding housing or being on a blocked list of section 8 period regardless of circumstance or situation there is no permanent resource that will remove the homelessness or fulfill the Gap that is truly needed here.

I have clean up a 7-Eleven at night and I take the food that they going to throw away and take it there and give it to the homeless so thats a good thing to do for that for that place there is some good people there too

Any place that takes people down on their luck in and feeds them is always high on my radar. Thank you

I love this credit union. For 17 years Ive had a couple of saving accts here but I recently opened a e-checking acct too. Im so happy my accounts are back to one single financial institution. Just yesterday the teller helped me reset my online acct because my info was out of date. That would have to be my only complaint is sometimes you gotta wait in line for too long but Ill give that up for their personal and undivided attention when its my turn. Some people just have more complicated banking transactions then others so now I just play a 🎮 and not think about the time Im waiting. I actually feel safer having my money here then Wells fargo or keybank. Both banks are greedy and constantly got to watch so they dont rob you blind. Everything is just better here.

Some staff arent very helpful..and SOME DO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND & were very greatful for that but ...IT REALLY NEEDS SOME WORK DONE.. AND WE NEED MORE HELP THOSE THAT WORK TO GET OUT OF THIS PLACE..

Step above detention center. Pill pushers monitoring human subjects. Rules change depending on the person while no written policy is shown. After three weeks their tone gradually changed. Its definitely an invasive place though looking hospitable for a short time. Use as a one stop emergency out of AURORA. On the positive, it seems safe for witness protection as several officers are on duty around the premise.

In my experience this place serves its purpose, allowing destitute people to hang out and kill time during the day keeping them off the street.You are allowed to shower here, watch tv, use computers, charge your devices and receive small meals.In my opinion, I do not understand why this place runs out of supplies such as socks, soap, shampoo etc and they offer very low quality meals but hey beggar cant be choosers.Besides that the staff can be pleasant and are very respectful and do try to keep order within the place.

Its a warming shelter so it only opens for emergency storms most bad weather. Has some small things available like toiletries and showers. The staff is very polite and always patient so I definitely recommend this shelter

This is a drug users dream. Lots of people doing drugs in the parking lot. Your only blocks away from E. Colfax. Shade isnt an option if you are living in your car with animals. Your better off going to a park that has tall trees. Lots of theifs, so you need to lock you stuff up. The Aurora Day Resource Center dont care if you eat breakfast & lunch. They just want you to check in to get a high count to get their grant money. They dont care that you have animals in the heat, but they expect you to come in & wait for over 20 minutes to get breakfast, to get lunch, to check if you got mail. Mean while you either have to run your vehicle to make you animals comfortable. Which isnt good on your car. Or you can leave your animals vulnerable outside your car. Its just not a good place for a person living in your car with animals. But if you do drugs, its for you. Money & drugs run rapid.

The homeless there were out of control

Excellent help and resources. Kind, understanding, and caring. I just wish better for the workers that try so hard to help the homeless that come here. These people dedicate their lives every single day of the year (even on holidays) to assisting low-income and the homeless. It amazed me that a program like this existed. Blew me away with how much help they provide and how consistently nice these workers are even after everything they deal with on a daily basis. It is kinda sad that people just use them on a regular and arent trying to better themselves. This group offers so much to help you get back where you need to be. Thank you for everything you guys have done for us!

Best place for helping the homeless, that I have found in Aurora Co. Course I dont have first hand knowledge any others. They help wonderfully, when they have the donations needed. Please help them.

This is one of the worse places to go for help for anyone I’m outside in my car and I see a staff members giving the personal numbers to the clients I can hear the whole conversation plus this is where I was told to drop off the person I was helping this place needs to be shut down also my friend told me the the black girl with dreads heavy set was the one who turn her away for asking where to get help this is just sad

The people working there are both snobby and stupid.

Called for some homeless guys that were freezing and hungry,they were closed so I gave them some smokes and a couple of bucks, wish Denver would address the homeless problem better!
