Very nice facility and staff. We only had to wait about 20 minutes before meeting the doctor.

This is the worst express care center. They have lack common sense. You cant just walk in. I did, and a lady at the front desk asked me to go to my car and call her to pre register. I was put on hold for 25 mins. They were empty inside I was still put on hold.I was going in for my son. He has streptococcus from the best of my knowledge (I have 5 kids). Ive been his step father for 11 years and have been his primary care provider for those 11 years. Im an emergency contact and able to do every dr. Appt known to man for him. They said I dont have permission to take him in without his moms permision.

I had an unfortunate need to visit the express care in Winthrop. I can not say strongly enough how amazing the service was. The speed and attentiveness was outstanding. Tracey, Dr. Volk and Peggy were top notch. I am very grateful.

I have been twice in as many months. Service was fast and thorough. I hope people consider that any new location/building/business needs time to work out kinks. We are fortunate to have this resource so close to home!

Ive gone here a number of times. Clean pleasant and the staff was always professional. Never waited more then 30 minutes. These folks here at Maine General are working longer days than most of us. I had to go to the pharmacy twice only because I was seen so late in the day and Hanford pharmacy closed before I could drive over there. Something to know to call ahead if you need meds the same day.

We were very new to the area when my son got sick. We showed up here and waited about 25 min and was seen by a very polite female doctor. Everybody was polite and fast to help. Then months later had to take my son again and even better service. My husband was also seen weeks ago and within 30 min he was treated and we were gone. I’ve had all good experiences here.

You are doing Covid testing, could they more professional? They honestly ask to talk to Bradley on personal phone and to top it off Bradley complains why do they want to talk to me. Seriously this really happened today.

This place is so much better than the emergency room when you need to see someone for illness or injury. Wait times are much less than ER and the cost is less than half what you would pay for ER services.I have three kids who have had their share of accidents and I’ve rarely experienced any excessive wait times. You also don’t have some of the sketchy characters or drama that seems to be a fixture of the ER waiting room.The Medical staff is friendly and more relaxed than what you would find at the ER. We’ve been very satisfied with the treatment provided there.If you have a life threatening medical situation, the ER is always the place to go - but for anything else, I’d recommend express care.

Im new to the area and dont have a PCP so when I needed help twice recently I came here. My severe tennis elbow from stacking wood was treated the first time and I got several stitches in my hand from a farm accident last week. Each time I was met with professional and friendly caregivers .They were very willing to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. I felt that I was in very good hands both times.

Been calling for 30 minutes trying to get ahold of them to get a prescription resent, It just redirects to the hospital. The hospital tells me they haven’t been able to get ahold of them all morning...

Fast courteous service with knowledgeable staff. Knee xrayed, prescription sent to my drug store + DVD made for me. ice + rest + elevate leg. thanks to all staff there.🤗

Ive been here twice and both visits I ended up with doctors who had no idea what they were talking about. Really I think the receptionist with Google wouldve been better at medical advice and diagnosing.

Don’t go here. Better of driving to Portland, the wait is that long anyway.

Went here with my wife. Walked through the door at 6:05PM. Huge line of people waiting to be registered, waiting area was full. After a short time waiting in line, an employee came out and informed everyone in line from my wife and back that we may not be able to be seen tonight. everyone in front of her was safe to be seen, everyone from us back, not so much. “We can’t tell you to leave, but we can’t guarantee you will be seen. We close at 7:30”. .. we walked out, I called the maine general express care in waterville to see what their wait was like. The woman on the phone told me it would be a little over an hour. I commented “so there’s a possibility we may not be able to be seen there as well?” The lady said “what do you mean? If you walk through the door before 7:30 you will be seen.” I was confused, so I proceeded to explain what had just happened to us at the Augusta facility. The lady at the waterville facility was livid. She said “this is completely unacceptable, and not at all our policy. I will be contacting them straight away. You should go back in and tell them this.”Long story short: if you can drive the extra 20 minutes, go to waterville, where the practice actually cares about their patients.

Great place to go. Gets busy,. But when you need help. They are wonderful!

We have been here a few times.Every time we go in they meet us with open arms. We have had three or four doctors. The docs all treated our 19 month old lil girl with respect and all did a vary good job.The last time we went in the docs said our daughter had an ear infection. They gave her amoxicillin for 7 days. It was not long enough so we had to go back and get it again for another 10 days but overall 10 out of 10!!!

I had a shorter wait at the DMV. My daughter needed her swollen toe looked at. Not the type of thing u go to the hospital for. We waited 2 hours just to get her vitals taken. Then back to the waiting room for 20mins. Then in the room for another 25 mins. Total time with medical staff was about 8 mins. The people were friendly but yoh can tell they are way understaffed. Maine General please provide better service.

So disappointed. Ill never go back.

Guess the staff is unaware when they talk about you in the hallway you can hear them. Id rather lay down in the street and die before I would ever go back there again

Im still sitting here waiting for a doctor....its been an hour and 45 minutes and still no care. My last visit they charged me $200 to tell me to bring my son to his primary doctor because they werent sure if it was an ear infection. Seriously?!?! Not impressed.

Overcharged by four times retail on a so called leg splint. Never again.

3 hour wait! One doctor and two nurses who obviously hate their job. Not a pleasant experience .
