I had a full mouth extraction and every one was amazing talked me through it because of my anxiety I felt much more comfortable after they are very wonderful. I would highly recommend then to anyone

I want to thank the team here for being so amazing. I have had many teeth pulled and I have always had amazing experiences. The staff is super friendly always smiling and caring. They work with you through your anxiety the assistance talked me through everything. I had dentures put in after my last visit and they did such an awesome job. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I am thankful that I had such caring amazing people surrounding me when I was going through loosing all my teeth.... they are so supportive thank you all for supporting me.

I had a great experience with Dr. Berube and his staff. They took excellent care of me. I had an abscessed tooth that was very painful and had to be extracted. They fitted me in immediately and took care of it. The gum healed very well and I had no problems with it. I felt very welcomed and at ease. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who needs dental care. Highly experienced doctors and well trained staff work here. Thanks again to this wonderful group of people.

Dr. Ellis reassured me that I would do just fine without anesthesia for 13 extractions, half of which were surgical. I was sceptical but he was very confident so I decided to try it. Nitrous, numbing gel so I barely felt the novacaine, and 20 minutes later I had my immediate denture in and not even one second of pain the entire time! Im not exaggerating... completely painless procedure and I was awake but very relaxed the whole time...I was even able to drive myself home!!! I would recommend Dr. Ellis to anyone worried about having a painful procedure.

I had a tooth extracted by them in October. It had been a problem tooth and I wasn’t dealing with a crown and I read all the possibilities of the pull. You sign a waiver and everything. But they were unsympathetic when I woke up in the middle of the extraction and was balling. I felt almost all of it. The assistant I had made me feel like I was pathetic and cared nothing for what I was dealing with. I have severe anxiety at the dentist due to a trauma when I was young and not only did I end up waiting an hour to be put under, I was made to feel like I was being ridiculous and the way they dealt with me was completely unprofessional. They then proceeded to tell my fiancé VERY inaccurate ways to help with the healing. I followed all the rules I had to find online and still managed to get dry socket. This happens. But I went back multiple times. The new assistant was very nice. She did what she could but it was unfixed and I was told I did not have an infection. I then proceeded to go to my childhood dentist because something wasn’t right. I was diagnosed with an infection and they were the ones who fixed my dry socket. I am now (over two months later) still dealing with the repercussions of my surgery. I wouldn’t ever recommend or go to this dentist ever again.

The staff was absolutely kind and caring and their compassion shined as they helped calm my cry baby self before my wisdom teeth removal! A nice speedy process with a super lovely staff! 💛

As I walked into the reception area I found a comfortable and inviting, almost like going home. The staff greeted me in a prompt and curious manner. Erika was extremely informative and ensured I was comfortable with the process. Dr. Green was professional yet comforting. He talked to me throughout, attempting to keep my anxiety to a minimum. Diane took care of all the coordination with insurance prior to this appointment letting me know what I needed to pay. She is a wonderful person. The team seemed to work great together.

Awful doctors and completely unsympathetic. i had a panic attack and was in pain the entire time i was getting a tooth extraction, the doctor told me to not put my hands up after his assistant told me to put my hand up if i was in pain. i was supposed to get 2 teeth extracted but the doctor refused to pull my second tooth because he “couldn’t handle my anxiety”. ripped my nose ring out of my nose after telling me i could keep it in, and was all around rude.

Excellent job had my wisdom teeth taken out nice quick and easy everyone there was super nice and healed over the weekend and went straight back to work not a thing to complain about.

Just wanted to share that there are some amazing workers in this office. Tia took my information down, scheduled my appointment, and then took the time to check with the financial department and save me over $2000 on my surgery! I cant thank her enough!

Horrible doctors, irritable reception no compassion for patients. Came to get two extractions for my daughter left with half the job done, lost personal property and an upset child. FULL price. To the doctors here, find new careers.

Wonderful tooth extraction!!! Dr. Green and Erica (assistant) really made my tooth extraction into a pleasantly mild dental visit.I visited Dr. Green’s office today for the first time. I had never had a tooth extraction. The idea that I needed a molar taken out was something that I was very worried about. Erica was very reassuring in answering my questions when I arrived. Her approach to addressing my worries and fears about getting the tooth taken out had a nice calming effect.When I met Dr. Green today, his demeanor was kind and patient. He explained why the tooth needed to be taken out. I told him that it had been difficult for me to get adequate numbing with some dentists in the past, and so I was afraid. He was patient to listen about the types of tooth numbing injections that had been effective for me in the past. Dr. Green was upbeat and reassured me that I would be fine. He proceeded to give me numbing shots so that I would not feel pain during the procedure. His shots were wonderfully effective! I did not feel any pain during the tooth extraction! Even though the roots of the molar that had to be taken out were more challenging, the extraction occured in a matter of minutes. Getting this molar pulled out ended up being a surprisingly mild experience. It was like a huge weight was taken off my shoulders.I am very thankful that Dr. Green was confident and effective at making my tooth extraction into a small bump in the road on my way to having a healthy set of teeth.Thank you Erica! Great staff, really took the time to address the concerns I had with the procedure (Removal of Wisdom tooth), whilst also making me comfortable and treating me like a person.The procedure was literally quick and painless and he explained the steps of it to me before even starting.Very professional but personal staff, they clearly care about what they do there and the people theyre helping.PSDr. Green was wonderful and professional.

My daughter had 3 wisdom teeth removed by Dr Green. He and the staff were absolutely amazing. She had her teeth removed on a Thursday morning and the very next day she was up and about like nothing happened. Overall an awesome experience.

This place was an absolute godsend to us in a time where we needed it desperately. The office girls are exceptional. And the surgeon did a fabulous, efficient job. I would highly recommend them!

My recent visit with the facial & oral surgery was simply amazing!! The front desk staff was very friendly and welcomed me...Dr.Green came into the room and explained the whole procedure telling me exactly what to expect...And thats exactly how it went....Courtney was very professional as she was preparing me for my extractions....she made me feel very relaxed and asked if I needed anything more but they got started...and never left my side...It was quick and easy..and painless..Before I left I was given a comfort bag containing advil and tylenol along with gauze pads if I needed them as well as full instructions and what to expect over the next few days...I would definitely recommend these people for any oral surgery that is needed..I would give them 10 stars if I could...

Gary is a patient of Dr. Berube. I took him to his appointment last week for an extraction. As soon as I entered the office with him, for my first time we were greeted with a welcoming smile from the receptionist. Gary has been going here for years, and has always been extremely satisfied with their service and how they make him feel so comfortable. Danielle was very helpful getting him in at an earlier date due to a cancellation. And she called the next day to ask how Gary was feeling. We would recommend Dr. Berube and his practice to others .

I drove 4 hours round trip to have an extraction. It was worth every minute. 100% of the staff are kind and funny. Courtney stayed in my room with me for my entire appointment. We had a great conversation. After she got done getting the room ready, Dr. Green and McKenzie came in to administer anesthesia and pull my tooth. I had to use an oral surgeon because the tooth had crumbled apart after a root canal. The top of the tooth was even with my gums, so there wasnt much tooth to grab onto for the extraction. While we waited for the anesthesia to take effect, all 4 of us discussed Breaking Bad, a TV show we all like. The conversation distracted me from my anxiety. Dr. Green put a mirror in my mouth. His hands came away from my face and he stepped back. He had pulled my tooth and I didnt feel a thing! The day before, I had gone to my regular dentist for this extraction. I had to leave Against Medical Advice because it hurt so much. My dentist kept insisting that I was only feeling pressure because all the roots were gone. I assured her I know the difference between pressure and pain! Because I live so far away, McKenzie took my medical history over the phone and filled out half the forms. She showed them to Dr. Green so he could decide whether to perform this extraction for me. I got an appointment for the very next day. I have Mainecare for insurance and I was relieved when this practice accepts it. I called two places before Facial & Oral Surgery Associates and neither of them accept Mainecare. This is a long review because I want everyone to know how special this practice is.

Dr. Berube has been amazing for the surgery that I had with him. Typically I have anxiety about dental appointments but his very comforting and professional staff left me feeling great after my surgery. I would highly recommend Facial & Oral Surgery.

My 7 year old son had an appointment, which he was very nervous about! Danielle at the front desk greeted us with a friendly smile and made my son (and a nervous Momma, lol) feel at ease instantly! I cant tell you how much this meant to us as first impressions are everything! Everyone was so professional and Dr. Berube (and team) took the time to answer our questions thoroughly. I am very thankful for a positive experience and would definitely recommend!

Dr Berube and his staff are there to make you feel so comfortable and at ease to a place you really don’t want to be. Nurse Kasie takes the time to go over everything before the doctor comes in and makes you feel right at home. She is there with you through the whole process and is always checking on you through the whole procedure to make sure you are doing alright. I can’t say enough about her kindness & compassion that she brings to her patients.

A friend was completely humiliated I left completely devastated after being seen today. My friend has had the hardest time finding somebody to help her with her teeth she has been experiencing ungodly pain for years and repeat infections. She just recently lost 100 lb mostly because she is unable to eat properly because of all these infections and mind-blowing pain that her teeth have been causing her. She also suffers from anxiety depression and PTSD. With all that in mind it is hard for people who do not suffer from these mental disabilities to see a dentist. A lot of people are afraid of dentists but my friend muster up the courage to be seen today hoping that she can finally get the care that she needs. She went to her appointment and this man completely humiliated her in front of staff. He gestured to her as she sat waiting and told her that she was too fat for him to perform the surgery and he did not believe that he could even have an IV started because of her weight. I understand that weight and health issues can sometimes play factor into putting someone to sleep for oral surgery or any surgery but there are better ways of going about telling somebody then to completely humiliate them and make them feel less than. He made fun of how bad her teeth were. That is wrong considering she was there for that reason people wouldnt go to the dentist if they did not need the help. He completely devastated her self-confidence that she has gained after losing the hundred pounds shes worked hard to lose. He made somebody that would have done anything for anybody and is completely kind to everyone feel absolutely horrible about herself. She spent the rest of the afternoon bawling her eyes out and it makes me so angry that people like him can get away with this. Shame on him from doing this to people. I wonder who else he has shamed in this manner as well. There will be something done so that this man can no longer humiliate patience that come to him looking for help. Compassion in this world goes a long way and this man simply has none

Dr. Berube is fantastic. I had an extended wait to get in because of an insurance mix up on my end. He was super nice and didnt even charge me for the visit. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I have a friend that has gone there for years and has had extensive work done and recommended him to me and I am glad I took their advice.

Dr. Berube and his staff are true professionals. He extracted wisdom teeth for 2 of my daughters, conducted oral surgery for my wife, and now oral surgery for me. He is compassionate and thorough. He does an amazing job at explaining everything and managed your expectations before, during, and after the procedure. It is without reservation I give Dr. Berube and Facial & Oral Surgery Associates my highest recommendation.

Had a wonderful experience here. I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews but Dr. Berube was so great. He is incredibly kind and knowledgeable and the staff was wonderful. Best of all, there wasnt a long wait. When you make an appointment and show up at that time, you are seeing them at that time. I was shocked at how quick and pain free the procedure was. So glad I went through with this and didnt spend more time worrying and waiting.

Went here to have three baby teeth extracted. They started pulling before the anesthesia took full effect. Thankfully I was able to make a little noise and they increased the dose. I woke up with several stitches and a cut all the way to my jawbone. Doctor said I had a “mass” they had to remove and they would send in for a biopsy and let me know. I never heard anything regarding results. The doctor refused to give pain meds following the extractions. I was in excrutiating pain for weeks so I called the office and went in and they looked briefly and sent me home with clove paste for a dry socket. I finally healed after an abnormally long amount of time and almost a year later I now have fragments of the tooth coming out of the extraction sites. Absolutely horrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend these people to my worst enemy.

The new dr. Is highly unprofessional. His jokes are a bit offending. When i had my surgery done he did not wait till anesthesia set in. He started poking me with novocane I felt it all. As soon as i came home the stitches came out and i feel bone exposed. couple hours later. I had many teeth removed and almost a week later still experiencing severe pain. I called today to ask them to have him or an assistant call me back needless to say I called around 1 pm told them ive had chills and woke up drenched in sweat and pain woke me up almost every 2 hrs. its 5:10 there closed and no one called me and the pain is getting worse. So now i have to wait till tomorrow to call them again. Ive had many teeth pulled at this office never by him though. To be honest i do not recommend him. Ask for someone who has been there the longest and knows what there doing. I am suffering and the woman who answered the phone didnt seem concerned she seemed busy. So now its a waiting game hoping I dont need to go to emergency room.

I have had several dental operations performed by Dr. Berube. While I have never enjoyed any dental procedure he and his staff make them tolerable. They are cheerful, professional, helpful, and answer my questions well. For anything more complicated than cleaning and fillings he and his staff are my first choice.

Ive lost ALL hope of getting my teeth out. Ive never felt so completely crushed, hopeless, and humiliated as I do right now.I was denied treatment because I am fat. I was fat shamed by a dentist today. Dr. Berubes associate (who I cant remember the name of and he isnt listed on the website) seen me at Facial and Oral Surgery Associates in Augusta.First off let me say one thing. I have extreme panic and anxiety issues so even getting myself to GO to the appointment was difficult but I had hope of the pain and infections that I have suffered over the course of about 15 years would finally FINALLY be over. So I braved through my fears and I went. It took me MONTHS to get an appointment.I met the rudest person Ive ever met in my life. He stripped me of every glimmer of hope that I came here for. I moved away from my family, 1300 miles away, to be here for THIS appointment. To end my pain, suffering, and shame. He took it all away when he said he couldnt help me because, as he gestured his hands towards my lower body (making the big motion) and said, obviously your body is in horrible condition, I probably couldnt even get an IV started in YOUR arm. Their site boasts of their staff being highly trained in IV sedation...yet my chubby arm was a challenge? Are all their patients thin? I doubt that.Im overweight, yes, and being overweight DOES have its risks...I understand that. But seeing as how I have recently lost about 100lbs, and have no other risks that would compromise me getting sedated, (which I MUST be to have done what I need done) there should be absolutely no reason why I cant receive the same treatment as everyone else. Fat people need oral care too.After he did the fat motion and chuckled when he said it, I got up and the nurse basically threw me and my husband into the parking lot through a side door...she knew, she was there and had just told me that my vitals look awesome and that I seem healthy...she heard the whole thing. She seen that we were VERY angry and upset, I think she thought we were gonna do something to stand up for me. Fine. Parking lot of shattered hopes.My last lifeline of hope snapped today, by someone who could have taken it all away for me. 30 mins of his time. Thats all it would have been.*UPDATE* Its a year later now and I was able to get my teeth out, while being put under, all went well! Im glad my money didnt go to the moron who did this to me.

I was amazed with the service today by Dr. Berube. I had to have a tooth extracted and he had it out in under a minute! A previous tooth I had extracted took the dentist over an hour to remove! He was so personable, friendly and informative throughout the procedure. I definitely recommend this office and this Dr. for any oral procedures you may need!

Im just vary disappointed how the dental surgeon place on civic center drive treated my wife. If your a diabetic type one dont go in there thinking they will help you when you have an appointment. My wife had got turn down 3 times the last one was today ovet the phone. We where on time to every appointment she got the ex ray then had an appointment to remove all her teeth. We made the 2nd and first appointment on time well the 2nd appointment to pull her teeth her blood suger was to high so they couldnt pull them. Ok will reset the appointment this happens no big deal i thought. We reset the appointment and went on time again they say no again cause her blood suger was alittle low then they said maybe next time we can give her apple juice Then i said we cant do it now where here and where on time for this appointment. They said no the 3rd appointment again i said shes a type one diabetic her teeth hurt her making it hard for her eat she needs food to live how is this not a priority to get it done when food kepts her alive and she cant eat in pain? Then my wife not liking the miss treatment she got walked out then i did me not liking my wife getting miss treated i walk out to and left someone on her behalf where we volunteer called to reset her appointment and they said no we wont take her cause they didnt like her husbands attitude When it was them that miss treated us makes no sense please if your diabetic dont go there!

The nurse and the doctor were arrogant and spoke as though you could not understand or question them. My child became upset by what (and how) was being said, and the nurse then made fun of my child for crying when she thought I wasnt watching. Found an amazing Oral and Facial surgeon in Farmington where my child will be going instead.

This place is very disrespectful the nurses and staff are rude and dont know how to handle their temper. And need to learn how to deal with some one with a mental health problem. I would Not recommend this place to any one
