I didnt confirm my appointment 72 hours before arriving, which means they put someone else in my slot. The receptionist was explaining that she had to reschedule me. I was a little teary eyed, when an angel in the office said she would process me and take my xrays. Now that is compassion! I was totally impressed by the care I received.

I had visited Aspen Dental in pain. The dentist I had was very understanding about my fear. He was oh so careful. For a tooth extraction, I really didn’t feel a thing. He was so fabulous!

I mean off the charts nice. From reception to X-rays, to the operations manager. Super comfortable, will absolutely continue to go here.

I cod not express how happy I am with all the staff there they are very nice. Hope me get so I was not in pain anymore. Help me with any questions I had. I would recommend them to anyone with tooth pain. They will help you quickly get the pain gone. And mark sure you are fully happy before you leave. Thank you guy so much.

What a joke. Double booked me for 1st appointment only to call me a couple hours before to reschedule. Wouldn’t tell me why I had to reschedule and not the other appointment. Came in for my rescheduled appointment and was told my appointment isn’t for another 2 weeks. Will have to investigate to see if my insurance is taken somewhere else.

The only thing I wasted my time was because I was under the impression I would be fit for new products when I’m actually I have to come back again for impressions and I could not pay my account off in full only 60% and was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks. When the company states on their commercials dentures in a day. Very disappointed with my visit I do I would have known this is would have gone else where

I love them like family because thats who theyve become to me. And I can tell from their actions, they love me right back!

I got an appointment within 1 week after my phone call...my appointment was at 3pm, they took me in at 3.01! Very polite and professional staff!! I highly recommend anyone to use them!!!!

I have been going to Aspen for routine cleanings for years now and everyone there is wonderful; from the front desk to the dentist (the hygienists are angels!). Went in for routine X-rays yesterday and ended up needing to have a filling redone. They were very upfront about the cost and were able to get me right in due to a cancellation. The dentist was sure she could do the filling without Novocaine and she was right. I actually didn’t notice how much that tooth had been bothering me until I left.

I visited the Augusta ME facility for the 1st time recently. I have been using Aspen Dental in MA & NH for years with varied service. The Hygienist who helped me, Rachel was the best yet. Friendly, funny, thorough. I will go back because of her. Great job Rachel!

Ive had good experiences and rough ones at this Aspen Dental, but I can say the rough ones have only been in the past. With new Dentists and staff, this location really turned it around and won my patronage back. They took the time to review my treatment plan, then go over it with me, and explain cost breakdown for future visits. When having work done, the staff did a great job and made efficient work of the task. Beyond that, staff was consistently cleaning each area for covid precautions, which speaks to the hygiene of the office if needing to visit during the pandemic. Highly recommend

At first I came in the office and was told that my insurance wasn’t art if there network. I was canceled out for my appointment. Then I got a call that I was covered. I went back in and was told that I was in network. She said I would have to be make an other appointment. I was no happy and the Dr was able to do it at this time. I had already been there before under the same insurance.I would recommend Aspen Dental, but make sure at first that they can see you with your insurance.

I have great anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, I hadnt been in over 4 years. I felt very relaxed with the staff there, they are very knowledgeable and explained everything in a way that made sense to me. I also never felt judged for previously having poor care. They came up with a treatment plan for me so I can get back on track with my dental health! Id highly recommend Aspen in Augusta!

The whole entire office is friendly, clean and an overall fun environment to be in. Tammy has gone above and beyond to make sure I can get the work that is desperately needed. She has taking the last 3 days to work with me, show me my options and she refused to give up! She is the heart and soul of the Augusta office! I personally dislike dental appointments, but this was necessary. I am concerned about potential covid exposure as well. Aspen Dental in Augusta did everything and then some to alleviate my fears. Cleaning before during and after each part of my appointment. All were wearing masks. They were kind and gentle. Each member of the team was exceptional. Exceeded my expectations.

I hate going to the dentist and always have. Stacey is my hygienist and makes me feel comfortable while I am in the office. She is a rockstar.

It had been too long since I had been and they were very compassionate to my anxieties. Their work was fantastic! I would highly recommend their services and I plan to go back!

I went in to have a tooth pulled. They called my name to be seen and a women was asking me questions come to find out they had another persons chart mixed up with mine. My insurance covered my extraction in full however even after my insurance paid it in full they sent me a bill. They continue to this day to bill me even after I took the proof into show them that my insurance paid it in full. And now they sent my bill to collections..i addressed my concerns about it being sent to collections and i was told that wouldnt happen it would get figured out..i refuse to double pay them n I will never recommend them to anybody!!

I went in for a broken tooth. Was explained everything in detail as procedures were done. Was given my options. Then asked if I would like the tooth pulled? Was told how much then through whole process would cost. The dr made sure I never felt pain and the tooth came right out. Was given details of future options. Very pleased.

I thought it was great! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Everything was explained to me patiently and thoroughly (even when I asked the same question). The prices were great. The only negative mention: the dentist kept glancing at the TV throughout my procedure.

I have had dental problems my entire life due to high fevers as a child and the enamel not forming correctly on my teeth. This is the first time I wasn’t made to feel “dirty” for having less than perfect teeth. And best of all....I was given an affordable plan that will get me to a smile I can be proud of! Super friendly hygienists and Dentists! The scheduling is flawless with several reminders sent via text and email makes it really easy to manage appointments. Dental insurance can be tricky but Aspen does an amazing job letting you know whether or not the appointment and any special procedures are covered or if you will owe a certain amount. I highly recommend Aspen, especially for Military! They are very knowledgeable about military needs, forms required and billing for active duty and their dependents. Keep up the great work Aspen!

This place is great. I have a thing with needles so i have avoided the dentist for years. I told the assistant and dentist this before having a filling done. I usually pass out. The assistant was one of the kindest person i have ever met. She stayed with me the whole time and even offered to hold my hand if i wanted. That is amazing customer service. Love these guys and would highly recomend them.

I havent had dental work done in years, outside of regular cleanings. I was stunned by how efficiently, professionally, and compassionately the doctor and his support staff worked. Made me feel comfortable. Very pleased with their chair-side manner.

I can not praise the staff enough for their dedication and grace through the unprecedented situation that is Covid-19. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone was safe, socially distant, and taken care of. A huge shoutout to the office manager who was AMAZING!!

Felt less like a dental appointment and more like a carefully constructed sales pitch.After having x-rays and an oral exam, and an actual sales pitch for a 100 dollar toothbrush, I met with a dentist for about 5 minutes, he examined my teeth and relayed the location of my cavities to the hygienist and said that Id need all my wisdom teeth removed. Then I was shuttled into an office to meet with a lady in a suit to talk about how Id pay for everything the dentist decided I needed. She isnt a dentist, how is she supposed to help me determine what should take priority. When I explained that I couldnt pay 6 grand for fillings and 4 tooth extractions, she said that maybe just do a couple fillings.Well, I think one of my wisdom teeth is infected, I feel like thats probably more important.okay, then do that.... How about you have the dentist explain the plan to the patient? I dont need a team of salesmen helping me make medical decisions. Dentistry is medical care, I wouldnt trust my doctors office if it functioned similarly to aspen dental, neither should anyone considering getting work done here. Seriously, look around, its your mouth.Edit: Went to a different dentist shortly after who said there was no reason to remove my wisdom teeth whatsoever and said youre lucky you didnt go at the end of the month when they scramble to hit their quotas, theyd have told you to have all your teeth pulled.

As soon as I walked through the door every one was very friendly. All the techs and Drs were great! Just a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for the whole visit! I would highly recommend!!

Every single person in the Augusta Maine office was superb. Dr.Yoo has exceptional bedside manner and the hygienists are bar none. The office manager Tammy is an absolute gem and a pleasure to deal with. I actually look forward to going to the dentist here!

I dont have dental insurance and was so pleased to find that I could get the preliminary X-rays and Exam done for free. I have scheduled my teeth cleaning, which will cost about $135, which is doable for me. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Just went in as a new patient. The staff were SO friendly. Immediately got me into x ray, and almost zero wait to see Dr Yoo. And dealing with the financial side of things, Tammy made everything easy to understand while in a stress free environment. I will be bringing my family here. I have never had a dentist. I always learn something from my hygienist so even a cleaning is a great use of my time. I always get fantastic service and get in and out quickly.

Giving a 2 only because while I was there they were nice and friendly. The poor review is because the new owner of the Augusta branch imposed a rule that you must pay 50% of the service you want up front. I live an hour and 20 mins away and was going to use my care credit card. I would have to drive all the way there for them to take a payment in person to schedule then they could schedule me to come back a month later to get the work done. Ummm no ill go to Lewiston and they will take care of the customer.

I showed up for my appointment and was quickly greeted by Aniela ,who was very pleasant and professional. I was then brought out back by Danica who did an incredible job cleaning my teeth. It was a great experience and I am a very happy customer. I would recommend aspen dental to anyone that needs any dental work done or cleaning. Incredible service. I go in for an estimate, and less than a week later, Im walking out with a complete set of new dentures, along with the extractions. Fantastic experience. Lots of comments on the new smile. People have a hard time believing theyre dentures.

Well to start I made an appointment to have a tooth extracted..so I get there pleasant staff.. I got xrays. and when I asked about having the tooth out I was told he was booked for the day..? Um I do believe I booked an appointment to have a tooth out so how does he not have time for me...i was told need to come back for a cleaning no tooth out..no infection no reason to not take the tooth..Just another way to make more money....wanted me to pay 250 upfront for a service they havent even done yet..NOT Happenong..Good luck Aspen Big waste of time...

Im very nervous when it comes to dentists, but I had a very good experience with everyone at Aspen Dental. My appointment started on time (early actually!), and I felt at ease the whole time. Will be returning for subsequent visits.

I moved to Maine in august. After having the same dentist for 20 years i was worried about a new one. I went here and they were amazing! They went over everything and were very helpful! I recommend aspen!

About as good an experience you can have at the dentist. Hygienist was nice, knowledgeable, didnt try to sell me on things I did not need. Next time I will skip the fluoride though... the flavor was great but the feeling it left on my teeth for the rest of the morning was less than great.

I have had extensive work done in the past 4 months. The staff is very professional and treat you with respect and kindness. Going to have dental work done can be a daunting experience but they relieve all anxieties with their care. I strongly would recommend them to anyone needing dental care.

I VERY much liked the people there. I felt the dentist was nice and thorough. I felt comfortable there. the reason I am only giving 3 stars is because for me there is too many x-rays given. I wanted to get my teeth cleaned and cant without more x-rays. I feel we should have the say in things that could affect our bodies. I dont like having that control taken away from me. Therefore I will have to find another dentist who will respect my choices. I feel disappointed that I have to do that.

I was hesitant to make an appointment with Aspen Dental at first because they are part of a larger chain of offices around the country. I have always gone to my hometown doctor or dental office. I decided to give Aspen a try because of the no fee first examination that would allow me to see exactly how they operate and have all my questions answered without costing me anything.I am so glad I did. I was not only impressed with every step of the process, but also with every single staff member I dealt with from reception to the actual dentist. I was extremely nervous and confused about the procedure I needed done before my appointment at Aspen. When I left my appointment that day I felt like a massive weight had been lifted from my shoulders.I still dont ever want to go to the dentist, who really does, but because I have to, I am very thankful that I found the people at Aspen. I would recommend them to ANYONE!!!

This is a mixed review. Ive been happy with the care Ive received at the Augusta, Maine Aspen Dental Clinic for years. This last time--NO. I was seen on an urgent care basis for tooth pain that had kept me from sleeping the previous night. Kudos for for getting me right in, and on a Friday. Much appreciated.I left the office very upset with the rude dismissive manner of the young dentist. He could find no cavity and bristled when I said he was not probing the right area. He hadnt seen a cavity on the x-ray and suggested I was over-reacting. Sadly, his assistant Cyndi, who has given wonderful care in the past, followed suit. When I responded, I was talked over and talked down to. All three of us were angry by the time I left. I wont be returning.

Super Friendly, showed me my x-rays and pointed out where work needed to be done. Receptionist helped me with figuring out what work I wanted done and gave me a price. Explained everything to me and answered any questions that I had.

Front desk staff was incredible, made sure i understood clearly what I was paying for. I had 3 absessed teeth and they were able to get me in for extractions same day.

Very frustrated that they charge my HSA for future appointments without my knowing. They even sent my wife home is an electronic toothbrush even though we had one. They told her it was paid for. Yeah, by my HSA card. Never asked her is she wanted one (or an additional one). Yes I returned it and got my money refunded for the tooth brush and the appointments not yet made, but it was not honest of them to charge ahead of the appointment and to just sell something without asking. Err

I lost my dentures to my dog chewed them up, and Aspen Dental has been very helpful and friendly to help me get some new dentures. They have fit me in and got me appointments as soon as they could so i could get my new dentures quickly. They have been very friendly and helpful.

The staff was friendly & professional. There was a slight delay due to equipment not working (it just needed to be turned off & turned back on.) I was lucky that someone else didnt show up; I got to have my cleaning done the same day I had my initial assessment. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good dental office.

No waiting. Dental surgeon could have waited a few more post novacaine moments before he started his work. Ive gone to Aspen often...a good place to get your dental work done.

Their prices are very low and they do everything they can to get you the financing you need to pay for your new smile, including their discount to lower the price. Im not even sure where to start...The whole experience was just simply amazing..I felt welcomed as soon as I walked through the door...I really needed to fix my smile and i quickly realized aspen dental was the place to go....top shelf ,very experienced people work there and they really take the time to explain everything ,making sure I was comfortable. I went for a free first time visit consultation which included x-rays and was given all of my options both financially and with my teeth....Tammy came up with a very affordable payment plan for me, making sure I was satisfied with it...then in the same visit my top denture impression was made as well as my lower partial....I went back a few hours later for the wax fitting where they were just as excited as I was to see how my new smile was going to look...the whole experience was so easy and I really had a great time with the staff....they are all very nice and helpful...Dr.Bander and Dr.Guimond really care about their patients...they explained everything and were happy to do it !! The older woman that has been there 30 + years that took my xrays was amazing as well...in the end she went over the dos and donts about my new teeth as well as the paper work...I highly recommend Aspen dental !! Its so affordable and easy...It was an experience Ill never forget. Very satisfied..

I wasnt happy with the lack of communication.

I have been a long time patient of Aspen Dental and I have always felt important and a valued patient while I am there. The last visit I did not feel his way. I was left in my chair for the first time so the dental hygienist could go work on a new patient. I was left for 20 minutes. I felt not appreciated and not valued as a patient to leave waiting there while she was working on someone else. I was not important to Aspen Dental to finish my cleaning and then work on another patient. This was the first time this has ever happened to me and this experience is worth only one star! When I sit in the chair and I am paying for service am the most important person in that chair and I need to be attended to until I am finished. Do not leave me to work on another patient giving me the feeling of abandonment and poor customer service. This service is not free as a paying patient I deserve respect and not to be left!
