Ive had six massages with Joey, and every time I am amazed. He is friendly, professional, and thorough. He has an incredible sense of pressure and balance that allows much deeper tissue massage without pain. Ive asked for less deep tissue during some of the sessions, and they are just as profound in form and technique. Ive had hundreds of massages in my lifetime, and I can say with confidence that Joey beats them all. Highly, highly recommended!

So I have had back and hip problems since college and felt like an old man in my late 20s. Ive been to physical therapist, doctors and chiropractors, but nothing seemed to work. Id feel better for a week or two, but then the pain in my back or the clicking of my hip would return. Ive been active my whole life so this was very frustrating and the last thing I wanted was surgery. Ive known Benny as a friend for years but never as a physical therapist. I use quotations because he does so much more than just what I thought was physically therapy. He did his undergrad at University of Georgia and then his masters in physical therapy at the University of Miami before traveling the world to learn different methods of alternative treatments. When we started working together he asked a TON OF QUESTIONS which was important to me because I wanted a custom treatment game plan. As he took the time to get to know my physical problems and goals, my treatment picture became clearer. He did a good job of setting expectations and did not promise an overnight fix. He also gave me a list of detailed rehab exercises which he held me accountable to. Ive been working with Benny for a year and my quality-of-life day today is significantly better. I rarely have back pain and when I do I am able to self correct most of it through the exercises that he has given me. I would highly recommend you give Benny a call. I have recommended him to my family members and friends.

Dr. Karpus is incredible! I have some complicated issues with my back, and he made sure to ask me plenty of questions before our session began, to identify the best method to solve for my pain. I was super nervous about trying dry needling to begin with, but it was seriously a game changer for me. I saw Dr. Karpus about a month ago, and haven’t felt this good since I can remember. I 100% recommend making an appointment with him as soon as possible if you are looking for someone who is smart, knows what they are doing, and really cares about your wellbeing. I will definitely be returning in the near future for another session!

Dr. B.K was awesome not to mention a natural people person! I knew Empower was a win when Dr. Karpus mentioned that he preferred manual therapy versus using some sort of machine. Im a lover of yoga and all things flexible so I couldnt be more happy. Dr. Karpus is very knowledgeable when it comes to the body and healing. Throughout my sessions he took the time to answer every question that I had and he explained his technique brief and slow before moving forward.I really appreciate him for taking his time during my therapy and not over-doing it. Acupuncture was something that I had never done before but he assured me that it would be bearable and started with a small few. I always felt relieved after leaving my sessions and my headaches began to ease within a few weeks. Going to any kind of doctor has always been a tad awkward for me but Benjamin was very relaxed humorous so I felt pretty comfortable! I would definitely recommend him for therapy or even a simple massage.

Working with Benny was great. I have many chronic injuries from years of playing sports and powerlifting and in the past I have visited chiropractors or doctors that take a fairly generic approach to treatment that may provide temporary relief but doesnt get to the root of my issue. Working with Benny felt like a truly individualized experience that really tackled MY problems and he used a mix of chiropractic, massage, and dry needling to really tackle the issue from all angles. Im sure he is great for any run of the mill issue, but if you have highly specific issues that most doctors cant fix I would definitely give Benny a call.

After four days she could hardly move without experiencing serious pain. Benny spent an hour with my wife and the pain has not come back since. That was four months ago and she is still pain free. My visits with Dr. Benny has been such a pleasant and life saving experience!!! Ive had lower back pain off and on for over 10 yrs and after my 1st visit I immediately felt results. After my extensive search to find a Dr. here in Ga and see results from treatment was EXTREMELY exhausting. I almost gave up hope. Now I am able to keep up with my active toddler. Might I add the staff was pleasant which was added icing on the cake!!! It felt like a mini vacay/spa for me on my visits away from hubby and kids..lol I HIGHLY recommend

My experience with Dr. Benny Karpus has been great!Dr. Karpus is very knowledgeable in his profession and very experienced in his craft.He is kind and attentive. He takes his time to address all my concerns. Just by attending one session with him, I already have a sense of being in good hands. Not only did he treat my back during the session, he also assigned me some targeted exercises that I can do on a regular basis at home to gain flexibility, balance, and strength. Dr. Karpus is an amazing physical therapist who as helped me take care of ankle impingement as well as some neck/shoulder issues. He is very knowledgeable about physical therapy treatment and is entertaining to talk to as well. Unlike big physical therapy places where youre stuck with a PT assistant, Dr. Karpus is right with you the whole session to personally treat you and answer any questions. I definitely recommend this physical therapist!

Best part of my visit hands down!!I woke up on Sunday with a dead left leg. I couldnt lift it even to walk. The pain was excruciating. After stretching all night and stressing about the next days conference I picked up the phone and called the first Chiropractor with a 5 star rating.Dr. Af Shirinzadeh answered his cell phone and truly seemed to care about my perdicament. He set me an appointment the following day, AFTER my conference concluded.From the moment I hobbled into the office Dr. Af showed love and concern for me and my hurting body. He spent a full hour massaging and adjusting me. He was tender but efficient. He was kind and coached me through the painful breathing while he worked.And after it all, as I was putting on my shoes, I realized my leg still couldnt cross my other one. He put me back on the table and put 15 more minutes into fixing that one muscle while I said thank you and calling him the Devil all at the same time. LOL This was the best chiropractic experience of my life and I LOVE chiropractic work!I HIGHLY suggest this man to ANYONE in Atlanta with body pains. If I could give this man 10 stars I would.A true doctor, concerned with his patients happiness, comfort level, life quality, and the body itself as a functioning instrument. Dr. Karpus is the best PT I have ever encountered. After a serious injury to my neck several years ago, I shuffled through many different doctors, physical therapists and massage therapists. Each of these providers gave little relief, offered contradictory diagnoses and attempted seemingly gimmicky solutions. In the years I worked with other practicioners I could barely turn my neck, was unable to sleep lying down and had searing pain down my arm.Within two months of working with Dr. Karpus I had little to no pain, full range of motion and was able to sleep again. I received treatment by Dr. Karpus to address these acute issues and have continued working with him to correct the underlying causes through a wide range of treatment options and have never felt better. Dr. Karpus allowed me to have my life back!
